Security Level Medium is not working for PO initial version
Hi ,
We have maintained security level as Medium in Purchaser user personalization. In order to restart the PO SAVED event workflow only there is a value changed while the PO is awaiting for approval.. Here is the scenario and how the start condition maintained for PO - WS 14000145 - SAVED event.
Start condition maintained for event SAVED for WF template WS14000145 as below
&_EVT_OBJECT.POTotalValue& GE 0.00
Security level(BBP_WFL_SECURITY) maintained as Medium in personalization of SU01.
my requirement is when the PO create first time ( Initial Version ) and route for approval. Three level approval is determined for the PO and first approval approved. while the PO is awainiting for second level of approval the purchaser changed the quantity. based on above start condition my expectation is , the PO has to restart and route from beginning. but that is not happening. when i see the approval preview the approval path shows the workitem is waiting in second level of approval.
I tried the below start conditions also
&_EVT_OBJECT.SimpleListOfChanges&CE TOTAL_VAL, but no result..
What is the Medium functionality?
here is the help i found from help.sap.com, but i am not clear about this..
MEDIUM It is possible to change the document The system evaluates the workflow start conditions and starts the approval workflow again if the change necessitates a new approval If this is not the case, the approval workflow continues.

The security level works differently for PO's.
In the function 'BBP_PDH_WFL_CHECK_RESTART is a desription how the
system should work:
The workflow will be RESTARTED in the following cases:
a) One has a standard workflow with the usual type of approval (not a
'back&forth' one). It will always be restarted independent on the
authorization levels of the user and whether the user is a PO
creator or not;
b) One has the 'back&forth' type of approval but the user reordering
the PO is not the PO creator (this could be another purchaser from
the same purchasing group);
c) It is the 'back&forth' type of approval and the user reordering the
PO is the PO creator but he has the authorization levels that are
less then 2, i.e '0'(not defined') or '1' (no changes allowed);
That means the security level must be below '2' to force a restart.
I hope that this clarifies how the system is working.

If yes, create RKF1 on amount field excluding the currencies for which you are not getting currect values then in CKF or formula as RKF1 / 100. Similarrly create another RKF2 on amount only including the currencies which are excluded in RKF1, create a CKF or formula as RKF2/10000. Then created another formula wich adding CKF1 and CKF2. -
Output medium 5 not working for invoice message type
Dear all,
we have an issue with output medium 5 for comercial invoices. We have defined current message type ZRD0 with this output medium (it still has other mediums assigned like 1) because when we create a comercial invoice we want to send the invoice automatically to customer mail as a pdf file.
We have followed the instructions:
-we have add this medium to message type and it has assigned exactly the same program and smartform as medium 1).
- Communication strategy is already defined as it is being used for vendors mails.
- Customer has e-mail address filled and my user in SU01 has a mail defined.
Unfortunately mail is not being generated but spool is being generated?!? For vendors this output type is working fine, we are sending the PO to vendor's mail as pdf file and I don't understand why it's not working.
Any ideas??

Firstly In the output type ZRDO output type , check wheather the transmission medium has been checked or not. Secondly also check in VV32 with what transmission medium the record has been maintained.
Finally also check in ZRDO output type wheather pdf file has been maintained or not

As we know AFS materials are planned at SKU level (Grid and stock categories) you can use AFS MRP (/N/AFS/MD02) only.

Question 5 Made-To-Order Planning -Multi-Level (MD50) does not work for AFS Materials and Sales Orders containing AFS materials.
Answer: Made to Order Multi level planning functionality was never enhanced for AFS and hence transaction MD50 is not supported.
Steps are as,
1. Create a MTO/PTO sales order for an AFS material.
2. Run AFS MRP using transaction code /AFS/MD02.
3. Convert the planned order to production order.

People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version
i am using sharepoint 2010 and windows authentication
recently i have updated my ie to ie11 and problem goes here.
when i try to select from people picker, there are an unexpected error happened
however when i use other ie version, people picker work fine, what goes wrong?
i have already added my system as trusted site

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

Activesync not working for Windows Phone with certificate
We have a new Exchange Server 2013 setup and using activesync. We have setup a policy to require simple password and to send an email to provision a device when it connects. Activesync is setup to use self signed certificates, this was
tested first on the Ipad. Certificate installed entered the settings and the device appeared in the quarantined devices list awaiting to be approved. This was also done on the Iphone and worked.
When putting the same certificate on the windows phone device it errored with there is a problem with {as.domain-name.net} and does not appear in quarantined devices screen.
I tested again with another Ipad and an android device and they work without an issue. Tested with a Windows RT device and got the same issue. If I look in the IIS log files I can see the windows device making a connection then when I presume
to be the error 500 at the end of the line.
This is not a user issue as I can use the same user on the various devices. The windows devices just do not want to connect. We have looked at the certificate but if it works for apple and android devices why does it not work for windows?
Is there any additional security settings that need to be turned on or off for windows phones? Is there something specific on the certificate what windows devices need that others ignore?I did inital think it might be a widows phone issue but there are no other settings for me to use. I have also tested using a windows 8 surface and I get the same issue.
I have raised the event log level on the exchange server to expert and I have seen 2 messages when I try to connect.
I get Event ID 1100: Exhcnage ActiveSync device requests for your uses are being blocked. This problme frequently occurs when HTTP OPTIONS method is not allowed.
I know it is allowed as the test exchange connectivity worked and passed that test.
The other error Event ID 1309 ASP.NET warning. Part of the exception messge is DeviceTypeMissingOrInvalid
I have come across a comment that says for certificates to work you need to use windows intune or SCCM which we don't have. Do we know if this is true? -

Additional Fields for ESS-Business Card Not Working for Certain Countries
Dear Experts,
We were trying to configure the additional fields to be displayed in Business Card - Overview Screen for all countries. We don't have problem configure and get the new fields display for Malaysia (Molga = 14) but having problem for the field to display for Hong Kong (Molga = 27) and Singapore (Molga - 25).
The strange thing is I am following the same steps as I configured for Malaysia. Somehow it is not working for Hong Kong and Singapore. As I understand, there is only 1 place to configure in SPRO for this requirement:
Personnel Management -> Employee Self-Service -> Service-Specific Settings -> Own Data -> Customizing of Personal Information Screens -> Determine Fields for Business Card on Overview Screen

Search is not working for subsites
hello,
SharePoint search is not working for any of the subsites and it is just working for top level site. I can see that all the subsites is visible in search. Any idea?
interesting thing is, it is not working just for one site collection subsites. If i do search in subsites of another site collection of the same web application than it is working fine and it is working fine for all ohter web apps too.

I agree with Chris, please check following in your sub site: http://site_name/subsite_name
1. Click on Site Actions -> Site Settings ->Modify All Site Settings
2. Click on Search visibility.
3. Check All this web to appear in search results.
4. Browse to the document library or list in your sub site.
5. Click on Settings->Document Library Settings or list settings.
6. Click on Advance settings.
7. Check the last item - All items from this document library to appear in search results.

OOF not working for mailboxes homed on Exchange 2010 server during migration

I'm troubleshooting an issue during a exchange 2010 to exchange 2013 migration where the OOF is not working for users homed on the exchange 2010 mailbox servers. This applies to users using outlook 2010 and outlook 2013 .OWA works perfectly and you can also
enable OOF via exchange powershell.
Users homed on the exchange 2013 servers does not have any issues.
The exchange 2010 servers is on SP3 rollup 4 and the 2013 servers on SP1 only without any rollups installed.
So my question will be - have anyone experienced this issue during migration and will patching the exchange 2010 servers to rollup 5 or 6 and the exchange 2013 to sp1 rollup 5 fix the OOF issue then? If requested the client to patch to these levels, but
in the meantime I'm checking if anyone else had similar issues.

1.Please check the problematic exchange 2010 user account can able to access the ews virtual directory internal url and you can check that via browser's.It will prompt for the user name and password , please provide that .
EWS url wopuld be like - https://mail.youdomain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx
2.Then the second step would be autodiscover check for the problematic user account.you can find that via test email configuration .There you came to know whether outlook is fetching up the proper url for ews and autodiscover.
3.Then please un check the proxy settings in browsers and check the same.
4.please use the command to check the auto discover
