From waht i can understand with so many archives(8) in the space of 3-5 minutes id too high. You need to think about increasing the redolog size say around 500MB in your case. The rule of thumb says 1 log switch every 20 minutes... IS it a Peak Hour statistics?
And in what mode your Dataguard runs ?

  • Seeing an unknown error in our logs, possible corruption

    We recently experienced some corruption of a (Publishing) Pages library in one site and a (Publishing) Documents library in another. They are not sub-sites of each other, both are off of the root site. In one case (Pages) the Allitems view was corrupt and
    no one could add or edit pages, even though the URLs were correctly returned for the users. In the second case, the Documents library, was even more corrupt, the columns, content types and views were gone in the library settings.
    I am seeing two errors in my logs which may or may not relate to this. the first one I think does as this error occurred each time I tried to access the Document library:
    Cannot complete this action.  Please try again.

    The second error does not even show up in Google search:

    So, I am at a loss where to look for a solution to these problems. Does anyone have an idea why this corruption might be occurring? And, if so, what we can do to stop it?
    Thanks.

    Hi I have the same issue, how did you find it was the Allitems view that was corrupted?
    I have no views over my list thats corrupted.

  • Why do we get this in our log?

    Hello!
              (We use Wblogic 8.1.3)
              We have a Messaging Bridge that before was configuerd like:
              <MessagingBridge Name="MODELLISTBridge" QOSDegradationAllowed="true"
              QualityOfService="Exactly-once"
              SourceDestination="MODELLISTSource" Started="true"
              TargetDestination="MODELLISTTarget" Targets="BeanServer"/>
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:26:12 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '7' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200031> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is configured to allow degradation of its quality of service in cases where the configured quality of service can not be reached.>
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:26:12 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '7' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200030> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is configured to work in "Exactly-once" mode, and it is actually working in "Duplicate-okay" mode.>
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:27:12 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '11' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200020> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is stopped.>
              Now it is configuerd like:
              <MessagingBridge Name="MODELLISTBridge" QOSDegradationAllowed="true"
              QualityOfService="Duplicate-okay"
              SourceDestination="MODELLISTSource" Started="true"
              TargetDestination="MODELLISTTarget" Targets="BeanServer"/>
              Now we get this in our log:
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:22:11 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200031> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is configured to allow degradation of its quality of service in cases where the configured quality of service can not be reached.>
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:22:11 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200030> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is configured to work in "Duplicate-okay" mode, and it is actually working in "Duplicate-okay" mode.>
              ####<Dec 19, 2006 4:23:11 PM CET> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <inv1437> <BeanServer> <ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200020> <Bridge "MODELLISTBridge" is stopped.>
              Seems like the server does not like any of our settings?
              What should we do?
              How ever the messges get deliverd any way.
              Best regards
              Fredrik

    Hi,
              Exactly-once messaging for the bridge requires (A) configuring the use of the "XA" bridge adapters for both the source and target destinations and (B) that both source and target destinations are configured to reference a connection factory that is configured with "XA transactions enabled" (or the equivalent for non-WebLogic vendors).
              The first example you wrote about configured a preference for "exactly-once" mode but also you enabled the bridge to degrade to "dups-ok" mode if the (A) and (B) requirements couldn't be met.
              The second example simply configured things to only run in "dups-ok" mode (and not to try "exactly-once" mode).
              See the bridge doc (or basically any bood or doc on messaging), for the difference in QOS between "exactly-once" and "dups-ok". Tolerance for duplicate messages is application dependent - some apps can tolerate dups, others can't.
              Tom

    What is the significance of these errors, can this lead to data loss ?

    Hi Jehangir,
    Usually this message is an indication that the node has been "disconnected" from the cluster and trying to reconnect again. If you see this on the storage-enabled nodes and there are more than one nodes that depart the cluster at once than you can indeed have a data loss.

  • Why Don't I See Any Content in the FTP Log?

    I am having trouble uploading files to my production server at Valcato Hosting.  (I have done this many times before without any problem.)  I was able to get a screen shot of a message that flashed on the screen when the uploading of files was aborted -- the message said, "4 files skipped".  There was nothing at all written to the FTP log that appears at the bottom of my (Classic) Dreamweaver GUI.  It is empty.
    Can someone please tell me if I need to do something in order to see the content of the FTP log?
    Here is a link that I found on the Adobe website that certainly implies to me that whenever one uploads or downloads files, the FTP log will show the result of each movement.
             Checking the FTP log
    Thank you for any help with this.

    Right-click on one of the other panel headings in the library module such as Folders, and make sure there is a checkmark in collections.

  • Need help with our "log and transfer" workflow...

    All,
    Again, it's our first tapeless project so please keep having patience with us.
    What should the workflow be for our project?
    I bring in the Firestore and dump raw files to a hard drive. Should I then transfer all footage to QT files? OR should my editor start looking at footage and carving it up as he transfers those files to QT?
    Our issue is that we have a lot of footage coming in and the new tower is slow when transferring footage from raw files to QT. It's driving us crazy.
    Aside from buying a more powerful tower, is there a way for us to review and log the footage and transfer at a real time pace (for example, is there a way to log the footage and do a transfer to QT files at the end of session?).
    Thanks.

    David, thanks for the questions.
    Yes, it's FS-100. And yes, we are shooting on a HVX200.
    The settings we were given by our editing guru create MXF files rather than QT. If so, we should dump onto a hard drive and then bring into FCP, correct?
    Is there a way to log a number of clips and then transfer them en masse? Or do I have log and transfer them one at a time?
    Our issue is that the computer grinds to a virtual halt while transferring.
    Thanks again. We look forward to your thoughts.

  • Can't see pdf files inside folder when logged in to my profile

    When logged into my computer, I can see all the pdf's inside a certain folder just fine. but when i log into an intern computer within our network I cannot see those files. the folder just appears empty. The intern however, when logged in as herself on that same intern computer can see the pdf's just fine. any ideas as to why i can't see them on that second computer?

    Hi Ryan,
    This is not an Acrobat related issue, it is related to your local user profile, I will recommend you to contact your network administrator so that he can help you to create a shared user profile on the network.

  • ICloud Notes app is logging lots of errors deny file-write-create externalrecordsworkfiles et al

    I am getting intermittent error in the log, when using Notes in iCloud storage. When the errors come, they come in large batches.
    Like this, many of them (dozens in one note-writing session)
    2/11/13 1:04:17.525 PM sandboxd[1097]: ([363]) Notes(363) deny file-write-create /Library/Caches/com.apple.coredata.externalrecordsworkfiles
    And fewer of these:
    2/11/13 1:00:52.000 PM kernel[0]: Sandbox: sandboxd(1097) deny mach-lookup com.apple.coresymbolicationd
    And one of these:

    It is clear to me Notes is having problems. I've seen this when using Notes since upgrading to 10.8, but also after upgrade to 10.8.2 recently (MBPro 2011 13", SRAM disk).  I go typing away in toes but I see the Console icone bouncing in the dock while I'm working.
    I'll run disk-verify-fix but I'm not seeing a lot of relevant entries, just this so far:

    I'm not too bothered about decompilation as I doubt anyone would go though the effort to decompile this particular program. As it currently stands I'm the only one known in my college class to try my hand at Java anyway. Anyone else handing a java project in would be very suspicious.
    How big would the program be if the JVM was included? Is it an intricate process to combine the two?
    I am aware that any code can be decompiled but e.g. VB programs can only be decompiled into assembly... atleast I have yet to see a proper VB decompiler in action.
    The app.path Java equivelant I need so the files needed by the program which should be in the same directory can be found with ease.
    What compiler did JBuilder come with? It's own or did they simply include Sun's?
    Whats the general opinion of V J++? is it pretty much Java or has M$ screwed it over and turned it into their own?
    When an argument is passed to a method in Java is it referenced in memory or is a copy created? How do I pass an array to a method? and not create a copy of it? ref?
    Can applets perform read and write actions on the machine it is stored? Can I refuse connections if a client is already connected?
    Thanx

  • Populating our log message along with standard sap log in ck11n.

    Hi all,
    I have developed a user exit which is used in costing of material using ck11n.
    Here i have to show our custom log message along with the standard log shown by standard sap system after costing run is complete.
    I got one FM-- CM_F_MESSAGE  which is used by SAP. But i want the message along with SAP messages and not separately.
    Can u help me out for this. its very urgent.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    I'm not sure because I don't know that trx, but I seem the function group of that function manages a log, so you can try.
    This is an extract of abap code of SAPLCKDI where that fm is used:
    CALL FUNCTION 'CM_F_MESSAGE'
       EXPORTING
         ARBGB = Y_CMF-CK
         MSGNR = '327'
         MSGTY = Y_CMF-W
         MSGV1 = SICHT
         MSGV2 = KLVAR.
    So I suppose you should call it by this way:
    CALL FUNCTION 'CM_F_MESSAGE'
       EXPORTING
         ARBGB = <your message class>
         MSGNR = <message number>
         MSGTY = <message type>
         MSGV1 = <text 1>
         MSGV2 = <text 2>
         MSGV3 = <text 3>
    I think MSGV* is optional parameter.

  • Family share isn't working - we set it up and it was working fine for a few weeks then in the last few days it's stopped, we can't see the other members in our family share and it says we aren't set up but it doesn't allow us to confirm and reset up

    Help!  We set up family share a few weeks ago, and it was working fine with the organizer and two additional members.  The three of us could see each other on app and iTunes stores and could view each other's purchased items.  Then ... All of that disappeared.  We cant see each other's profiles any more and we definitely can't view any purchased items.  In addition, when we try to go in and jump start by downloading a free app or logging out and back of itunes, nothing works.  It seems to show we have family sharing in the iCloud settings, and when we click the Apple ID it asks us to confirm, and we confirm, and are asked if we want to change accounts because then we trigger the 90 day freeze period.  And we aren't changing any accounts - just trying to confirm the same accounts to get family share to work!  We are all on the same ios 8.1.3 and os, so I don't know what else to try!

    No, I am a media professional who uses his MacBook Pro to connect to external monitors, and needs to continue to do so.  I don't want Apple TV.  I want my laptop to work again, like it's supposed to.  Like it used to.
    I have a demonstration this week at work that requires me to plug into an LCD screen and I am hoping to have this resolved by then.  I am trying to convince my department to buy a Retina Mac and thousands of dollars worth of video software for live shows, and if I can't make it work, then I can't exactly convince them (or myself) to buy what I have been researching.
    Again, I don't want wireless video or Apple TV.  I don't want to buy any more stuff.  I want to know why my Thunderbolt to HDMI cable stopped working after my update, and how to fix it...preferably before this meeting.

  • ** Not able to see my business system in our XI server - ABAP Stack

    Hi Friends,
    When I try to execute the function module 'LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS', I able to see all the business systems which I am maintaining in the SLD of XI. But, few business systems are missing. I want to see that system thru this function module. Moreover, when I try to execute the tcode 'SLDCHECK' it shows error in one place of the screen for this function module. But, at the end of the summary it shows the message successfully.
    Friend, how do I add the missing business systems thru the above FM?
    Kindly help me.
    Kind Regards,
    Jegathees P

    Hi Friends,
    I have tested the destinations TCP/IP connections 'LCRSAPRFC' & 'SAPSLDAPI' from our XI system. Its working fine. My user id is also having the role 'SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER'. So, I think there is no problem in the RFC issues.
    The exact error message while run SLDCHECK is as below.

    Friends,  what could be the problem not to see the business system thru the above FM? But, the Business System works fine in RFC to RFC scenarios.
    Kindly help me friends to solve this issue.

  • After 6 hours on the phone I am still unable to see my account info when I log in to My Verizon

    Due to a billing error Verizon shut down my old account, issued me a new phone number and new account number.  However I cannot see any of my new information for this new account when I log in to My Verizon.  I have called their web support six times to correct this issue and it is still not fixed.  I am told that my old username was moved to my new account and I believe this has happened because if I try to register my new account on My Verizon I get a message stating that this account is already registered for My Verizon.  On top of that my bill (which I cannot see online) was incorrect and I spent another hour on the phone yesterday correcting that issue.  Couple all of this with the fact that I was told a tech was coming to my home two weeks ago but he never showed up and I took a day off of work for no reason.  I have been a FIOS customer for over two years but the events of this month have made me seriously consider dropping all of my services permanently.  I just want my online account fixed and any assistance would be greatly appreciated

    Hello Camps,
    I apologize that you have been having so many problems, please PM me your contact information and I will see what we can do to assist you.

  • Where to see the images other than change log table

    Dear all,
                   How to view images for extraction's (example Generic )  in  DSO without using Change log table.
    With Regards,
    Baskaran

    Hi,
    There is no other option other than change log table to view the images.
    in PSA..we will get only raw data..i.e...its non other than the data how its posted in source sytem.we can say..this is only copy of source sytem data.
    after PSA,if the datasource is DELTA enabled(which can sustain NEW or CHANGED records-here only we get concept of IMAGES),we have to load this data only to DSO.from there after activation of the data,the data can be updated to further data targets only from CHANGE LOG table which can maintain images.
    Even further targets are also DSOs,we will have to load from this DSO only.so we can see images only in change log table.
    hope this is clear for you.
    Regards
    Ramsunder
