Selecting a specific section in an image to make a link with that part

Ok, so i don`t know what to call it so let me explain:
lets say i have this image
i insert it into flash professional
and in flash i want to make the oval in this image link to.... eg. google.com
how can i make that happen?

You could draw an oval that matches that area and turn it into an invisible button, placing it over that area of the image. Then just create the code needed to link that button to the desired url.

You cannot place a link on a background image. However, you
can place a
link on a transparent image floated over the background.

Click on a image in the swf and go to a specific section of the page

Can any one help me with this.
I do have an SWF file (in the main html page) with 6 time
frames. Each frame has 3 images. On the other hand I do have a
second html page that is nothing but the main title and 18
sections. Every section describes one the SWF’s images.
What I am looking for is whenever I click on one of the
images of the SWF file; I want to go to the specific section that
describes the image I have just clicked on.

I am trying to do this as well. I have a drop down menu that
I have as an embedded SWF in my html page, and I want one of the
buttons to take you to a specific part of the html page. Does
anyone know how to do this? Using the #name like in html does not
appear to work. Can't find the answer anywhere!!!

I have a Sharepoint 2013 list with three fields. Code, Section and Sub Section.
I would like to be able to have the form autopopulate the Section and Sub Section fields when a value for code is entered.
How would I go about this please?

Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to achieve that the second dropdown gets populated depending on what the first dropdown is set to.
To achieve your requirement, creating cascading dropdown fields with InfoPath.

How to change the color of same coloured sections of an image according to the colorpicker..?

Hi.. How r u all..?
I'm doing a small program to change the color of those sections of an image which are having the same color, according to the color selected from the colorpicker..
Say we have selected a color from the colorpicker, and then the mouseclick event on the image changes the color of those parts in the image which are having the same color as the clicked portion (or pixel) to the selected color.. If we've selected FF0000 from the colorpicker, then clicked on 3300CC coloured pixel in the image. This should change the color of all the 3300CC coloured pixels in the image..
I've a colorpicker [colpickr] and a movieclip [mc] of the image on the stage. I created a bitmap of that same same image (imag1) using code. Selecting the color from the colorpicker and a mouse click on the movieclip (here I used getPixel) will change that color in the bitmap to the selected color (with setPixel). So here I've two images; one is a movieclip (inorder to add listener for click event) and one is a bitmap (inorder to set the property setPixel). But I need only a single image.
Please help me regarding this.. Given below is my (horrible) code..

Anytime you consume a material spec (in a trade or a formulation spec lets say) the UOM list is defined by a few things:
1. Standard Mass Listing is always included
2. Volume UOMs appear if density is defined on the material specification
3. Additional "Other" UOMs will appear if defined in the Available UOM > UOM Conversions Grid
There is a strict UOM configuration available that allows you to restrict which UOMs are used per specification. It this is turned on then only the UOMs listed in the Available UOMs section will appear in the drop down.

How to clear specific sections of canvas with graphics?

Hi all,
Here's what I'm trying to do, I have a canvas and I want to cover it with an opaque cover but clear out certain sections so it looks sort of like a bunch of spotlights. I can't seem to accomplish this with the graphics object though, I don't see any api to clear out a specific portions of the canvas. It's basically like making a mask but there's no image.

Prelude will ingest only the files that you have selected (checked the box next to) in the Ingest Dialog. Can you provide more information or screen shots of what you Ingest Dialog looks like BEFORE you ingest and what your Project Panel looks like AFTER you ingest?

I've deleted some of the columns because they are all equal and by doing so, you have less problems in reading it.
In my method i have a matchEm but i'm trying to select a column by using this line:
        dimAnos.setColumnSelection("A2012");
dimAnos is the binding for my table Anos (Years in Portuguese). I even tried another values fro the columnSelection but i couldn't make it selected. Am i doing anything wrong?
Please help me or give me an idea of how can i do this.

Hi Frederico,
The method setColumnSelection is meant to set whether your table supports column selection or not. It doesn't select the column. In order to select the column, you need to set the column attribute Selected to true. So I don't know if its an option for you but you can create a binding to all the columns you have in you bean, and then call the method A2012.setSelected(true), and then add a partial target to the table to re render it and show the selected column.

How do I create a hyperlink to a specific section of a flash website?

Ok, I have no experience coding in flash, I just want to
create links to specific parts of a flash website (website that
were created by other people, not that I am building). In other
words, I just want to create the hyperlink that will open a certain
section of the website - I'm not developing the site and I don't
want to create links inside the site. Is there any way to do this?
For example:
http://www.lucasarts.com/games/fracture/
is the flash site I want to link to. Wherever I navigate in
the site, the address never changes in my browser. But I know it is
possible to get a URL to a specific flash page, because I have seen
some of the web admins post them.
For example:
http://www.lucasarts.com/games/fracture/?section=2&sub=5
which opens a very specific section of the site. So is there
anyway for me, an average computer user with no experience in flash
coding, to get a hyperlink to open a certain section of a flash
site, or at the least get my browser to display the specific URL
(that is, the "?section=2&sub=5" part of the address). I use
firefox, but am willing to try anything or any browser at this
point.

My Flash sites use a section and subSection structure, and
within the site I use the numbers to display specific areas. But
it's done internally. I have no code that looks at a query string
attached to the URL so supplying the numbers to my sites will have
no effect. The example you give clearly does read parameters passed
in a query string so if you know the correct numbers (and the param
names eg 'section') then you can do it.

Is there a way to select multiple track sections from different tracks and join them to make the chorus on iPhone?

I am currently using the iPhone to record my vocals on top of professional beats, or riddims as they are called in the dancehall world. Is there a way for me to select multipe voice sections from different tracks, copy them and then paste them later in the project. I don't want to record the chorus more than once. Normally what I do is sync the project to my wife MacBook Air and then from there edit it but I would like to avoid this. Also, I use the earpods microphone to record my voice and of course it doesn't come out professional quality but it is decent. Do you recommend a microphone that plugs to the iPhone or should I get an interface? Thanks for the help.

You can either copy and paste single regions or duplicate sections, if you want to copy regions
from different tracks in parallel.

Adjust the length of your sections in a way, that the regions you want to copy from different tracks are together in a section of your song.
Add a copy of a section:
Open the song section controls, choose the section you want to copy, then tap Duplicate.The copy is added after the last section.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.
After copying the section, move the new section to the end of the song:
Change the order of sections:
Open the song section controls, then tap Edit.
Drag a section up or down in the list by the handle on its right edge.
When you are finished, tap Done.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.

Can you select a specific item from a listbox via scripting?

This seems like it should be easy, but I've spent quite a few hours trying to figure this out, to no avail. I'm trying to create a button that would automatically select a specific item on a listbox. I though "selectedIndex" would do the trick, but this seems to only work if the user actually selects a specific item on a listbox. I'm looking for the opposite effect, where a person will push a button where a specific item on the listbox gets selected.
Any help would be much appreciated...thanks!

You can use the setItemState method for this purpose.
To select the third item use:
ListBox.setItemState(2, 1);

How to: Select a Specific Timeline Displayed in Project Online when having multiple timelines within the Enterprise Project

Currently I have an Enterprise Project which has 6 custom timelines and I want to know how to select a specific timeline to be displayed on the Project specific SharePoint site.
I'll provide some background for you so you understand my issues... I have created a "template" project with 6 custom timelines. From that project I created multiple new projects - which they all have the 6 custom timelines. These projects are
all stored in the Project Center. The problem I am having is I don't understand how to select a specific timeline to show on the project specific SharePoint site. They all seem to be displaying 1 of the 6 timelines (in no particular order). I was thinking
maybe if I had edited a project and saved it while it was displaying a specific timeline it would display the last selected timeline on the SharePoint site, but it doesn't seem to be doing that.
Is there a way to select a specific timeline to display on the SharePoint site? Also, is there a way for a user to cycle through the numerous timeline view on the project specific SharePoint site?

I ran into this problem at the company where I used to work. One of our PMs had created multiple Timeline views, and wanted a specific custom Timeline view to show up in the Project Site for that project. I could not see any way to make that
happen. We had one of our SharePoint developers look into the issue, and he could not see any way to make this happen either. So, I am thinking this is not possible to do. But I would gladly welcome others in this forum to tell us the trick,
if there is one! :) Hope this helps.
