Seller is bargaining for positive feedback on item sold

I purchased a screen protector for a 3DS for $1.29 with shipping. The item came in a sealed package. One of the screens is larger then it should be, so I rechecked the listing and it clearly showed the protector fitting the inside edge of the screen. So I then emailed the seller, and asked him what he would suggest as a solution. He then offered me a 30% refund. My response was "Sure! for a neutral feedback and three stars!" He then asked if he gave me a refund, or sent me a replacement, would I give him a positive review? It is only $1.29, I mean when I ordered it, I thought no big deal if it's not what I expected. But I'm not giving a positive feedback for an item that was not as described. Do I let it go, and not post any feedback. Or accept the refund/replacement and post a positive feedback....when I don't think it was positive. I have a hard time lying...even if it just withholding the truth. OR....am I making too much of the situation? This seller had 14 Neutral, and 12 Negative feedback in the past month. Their positive feedback is 98.2Thanks....PS I could not figure out how to delete the spoiler box....that's why it's there

So I then emailed the seller, and asked him what he would suggest as a solution. He then offered me a 30% refund. My response was "Sure! for a neutral feedback and three stars!" He then asked if he gave me a refund, or sent me a replacement, would I give him a positive review?  Although I don't think that feedback should have been mentioned at all, I'm not sure if ebay would rule that the buyer was using feedback extortion if the conversation happened as reported. The buyer was responding to the sellers offer of a partial refund, they weren't specifically attempting to force the seller to provide: Goods or services that weren't included in the original item's description or purchase price.A return, refund, or replacement item. If the buyer said they wanted a full refund or a replacement without returning an item then that would definitely be feedback extortion.  The seller did break the feedback extortion policy when they asked the buyer if they would give a positive review for a replacement or refund. The seller can't require a buyer to leave positive Feedback, specific detailed seller ratings, or revise existing Feedback in exchange for a number of things, including, but not limited to:Receiving the purchased itemIssuing a full or partial refundMonetary compensationAdditional itemsOther goods and services not included in the original listing

  • Any Positive Feedback for 2.01 ??

I am just curious if there is any positive feedback for 2.01. I am hesitant to change so quickly after the release.....but on the same token I have many different Apple products which I never have issues with. I come here often and read a lot of complaining posts. Don;t get me wrong, I think a lot of them are done like an adult trying to solve a problem and not just a ***** session......but there are equally if not more posts that just whine and curse the apple brand.....
Anyway, I have been lucky enough to not face the cursed updates on any of my apple branded equipment. Most install without incident and all are functioning at least as well as I would hope. I am leery however of new updates so I thought I would see who might be having positive results from the 2.01 update.
    Thanks

Hasn't fixed the podcast art disappearing randomly from the favorites.
Hasn't fixed the "scroll off to nowhere" when you have 50+ podcasts in your favorites, then delete one, then scroll down to the end and the highlight box just disappears off the left side, never to be found again.
What a disappointment. I wish I could get my money back on this one, what a waste of time.

  • Error in denesting activity for the luggage trading items.

    Hello experts,
This has reference to the Denesting activity for the  luggage trading items in SAP. There has been an error in the basic configuration for this activity, as the denested stock is being incorrectly valued & consequently a wrong impact is being posted to the P&L. The actual landed cost for the nested item is not flowing to the denested items.
We have been correcting this manually till now through an FI JV. However we need to correct the system urgently as this has a serious implication & the impact is considerably high. E
    Procedure for De-nesting:
The procedure for De-nesting is being carried out at BLL  location & at branches. Transaction code used for the same is MB1A. Two separate documents are prepared for de-nesting.
In MB1A, first document is being entered for Movement type 201 for depleting Nested item stock (Ref doc no 65489076) & subsequent document entered for movement type 202 for creating de-nested item stock (Ref doc no 6548769659).
The MAP for Nested Item is correctly being updated with each receipt through Mov Type 101. However the MAP for denested item codes is not being updated since the stock creation is through mov type 202. The Old MAP updated at the time of code creation remains stagnant. Thus the denested items are being valuated with an old MAP rate.
In normal condition, the value of both 201 & 202 should match.  As a result, the gap between the two kept on increasing & the inventory gets overvalued. The entries are posted to 8765987 (Consum-Intrnl-TMu2013 Dom) GL or 8765988 (Consum-Intrnl-TM-Imp) GL.
Reference Accounting doc no 3025689745 & 1589645896 for above referred material docs.
    Please advice on this issue
    Thanks,
    Ratnam

Activating ML is necessary because in my customer's company sell goods at planed price then revaluate value of inventories and COGS at actual price in the end of each of period. So we decide to use standard price control for trading goods and active Material ledger.
end of period, we run period procedure of ML for trading goods, we expect allocation different amount, revaluate inventories and consumption. Run revaluation step of costing run in ML, we revaluate all   ending inventories and consumption transaction except billing transaction. So, we think that we need to run Ke27 to revaluate all line item document in COPA from billing.
so anybody to help me revaluate consumption amount from billing at actual price in end of period?
    thanks in advance!

  • Use Tax for Free of charge items

    Here is the scenario:
In our Business, there is a process to give a Free item with mostly all the products sold online. In SAP, we will create regular sales order with 1 line item as TAN and other item category as TANN.
The Business wants to calculate Use tax on the 2nd line item where Net value=0. As we use the same Pricing procedure, we cannot charge different taxes based on line item.
The other option was to send the cost details to Vertex, so that they can store it in Vertex and use for Tax calculations. The technical issue is that whenever the Net value=0, Vertex RFC is not called.
We have proposed to create a report in SAP which will tell them the order details with Free items but this is not acceptable to Business.
Has anyone worked on such scenario where Use tax is calculated on the Sales side for Free of charge items.

The basic concept in tax is seller can levy the appropriate tax on the items which they are billing.  This being the case, I am not sure, why for a free of charge item, tax should be levied.  Can you please share in which Business process, this is being followed.  Needless to mention, if at all you want to achieve this requirement, have a separate condition type for this free goods, set as statistical, so that, only tax portion would be posted to FI.

  • I need to know the application ID for Speech Feedback.

I have a problem, the speech feedback icon is in my window after I used it for a while. I went to system preferances and turned speech feedback off. The icon did not disappear. I have tried right clicking for options but nothing happened. I also looked up a converstion in which the questioner was using later software than mine. He had updated his software and the icon was deleted on his desktop. At the end of the conversation between the apple user and the apple attendant the attendant said alternately he could go to the terminal application and type "kill #" the hashtag stands for the item ID. He reffered to an application which I have never seen nore heard of called Process ID. Of course, the user had been using older software than I at the time. I would like to know what the ID for Speech Feedback is so I can delete the icon using terminal. The other recomendations  the attendant reffered to did not work, so again, what is the system ID for the Speech Feedback icon/application?

Hi, it'll have a different number depending on when it starts, one way to see the PID is to...
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on, sort on Nasame for instance.
Another to just type top into Terminal...

What i am looking to do is find the position of an item in a list. for instance if my list contains [a, b, c, d, e] and on my command line i put a f d, i want it to return a value of 3 for the position of the 'd' in my list. Could anyone please advise the best way to complete this? I think i am having the problem of it recognizing the 'd'. I would appreciate any help. Here is a piece of my code.

What i am doing is building a Linked List. It will have a standard input. you have multiple commands. i, a, d, p, s, f. i will insert, a will add, d will delete, p will print, s will display amount of items on the list and f will set the position in the list. For example. if i type:
    a john
    the result will be:
    [john]
    a paul
    the result will be:
    [jon, paul]
Lets say i have the list with the items [jon, paul, ringo, geroge] in it and i choose:
    f paul
    a stuart
    the result will be:
    [jon, paul, stuart, ringo, george]
I want the f switch statement to make a new point in the list where the new item will be added.

  • Analog Fedback for position control

    Hi all,
Its been a long time since I have written into this discussion forum. I have a question. Till now I have been using encoder as a feedback device for position control in PCI 7342 motion controller. Now I want to know about position control using the analog input channel. I cant figure out how the controller understands the equation between input voltage and position.
Say X Volts = How many mm of movement?
With the encoder f/b the motion controller knows the encoder pulse per revolution and it keeps counting the feedback and generates motion accordingly. How is it done with analog feedback. My application involves an LVDT which give proportional analog feedback with respect to the displacement. Please help me oiut on this. Also is position compare and breakpoint feature relevant to this particular problem?

    Hi Giridhar,
it's good to see you back in the forums.
I have posted a document to another thread that contains a detailed description of the analog feedback feature.
    I hope that helps,

  • Profit center line for free of charge items

    Hi all
Is it possible to force SAP to write the create a profit center items for free of charge items of SD invoice (positions TANN), of course with zero value but with the quantity data?
    Thanks.
    Davide

    Hi,
in NewGL I am sure that its not possible as there is no accounting document created (which contains the PRCTR information as well) if the revenue is zero.
And I am pretty sure that its not possible too in old PCA (Ledger 8A).
CO-PA docs. can be created for free of charge items (otherwise the cost of these items are missing in costing-based CO-PA).

  • Table for position status in sales order?

    Hi veryone,
I would be veru grateful if someone could help me to find a table in which I can find the status of a certain position in a sales order.
Thanks in advance and best regards.

    Hi
    Please check the tables...
    VBUK - for Header status
    VBUP - Item status.

  • MRP creating cancel notices for min max purchased items

We use min max planning for many repetitive purchased items. These same items are also set to MPS/DRP Planned as well. This is only so we can use the Planned Order report to identify material shortages to flow schedules.
However, MRP exceptions is requesting we cancel our min max purchased items since there is no demand. Can MRP be modified to NOT include min max planning method in cancel requests?
If not, where can I find a tool to identify material shortages for flow schedules?

    Many thanks for this.
I can see entirely why it's designed as such, but I just find it slightly frustrating that there's no way to break the link between the order and the shipment out to the depot. Just to clarify, we're not requiring the orders to change - they will still be made and will come in - but just that the orders themselves don't specifically need to be the stock that is used for the replenishment.
    So -
    1. Min Max identifies depot needs replenishing.
    2. Central distribution does not have (enough) stock to replenish.
    3. Order is made to replenish central distributions stock.
    4. We ship whatever we've got, when we've got it, to depot to replenish.
It's the bit where Min-Max is trying to replensih a specific depot rather than our central distribution centre that's my problem.
I suspect that, as you say, that specific issue is not directly fixable without getting our IT contractors to do a customisation.
I'm going to look into your Supply Date Offset suggestion now, though I'm not sure how this affects the shipping after the orders are placed. The orders themselves are approved manually after we've checked our stock position (i.e. what's in with the recycling team), but we recycle & refurb probably 60% of our maint stock so there'll always be kit turning up after the order has been made because of the long lead times.
    Thanks again.

  • Release strategy for PR with multiple item category

    Hello,
I'm trying to create a global release strategy for a PR based on the item category.   I have defined a caracteristic with different item categories (A and K).
If I create a PR with item category A, the correct strategy is triggered as well as for an PR with item category K.  The problem is when I create a PR with 2 positions, one A and one K, there is no strategy triggered.
How can I change my settings that there is also a strategy triggered in this case ?
Thank you in advance for you help.
    Kind regards

    Hi,
Solution is very small. Please maintain a blank entry too in the characteristics value. It will start working.

Allow for more than ONE item in a single row? I can't use this wonderful program unless I can get more than one field on a row (i.e. 1st name, mi, last name etc)

Thanks for your feedback. This is something we definetely want to provide next year (can't say when yet).

  • Seller sunshine6649 NO LONGER AN EBAY USER & items not shipped before leaving Ebay

Hi everyone, Has anyone recently bid on items sold by the Seller: sunshine6649? This would have been anywhere from June 1 - 20, 2015 or even a few months back. The main products for bidding around June 10-14 (not entirely sure when bidding started as info is no longer available) were: NEW!Inner Storage Bag In Bag Makeup Pouch Handbag Organizer travel bags This item was auctioned in various colours. I won auctions for 3 of the above on June 14, 2015 and paid on June 18, 2015. On June 23, 2015, I received this message from Ebay: We're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you recently won:
271896251115 - Inner Storag Bag In Bag Makeup Pouch Handbag Organizer travel bags DARK BULE X3
Since you've already paid for the item, you don't need to do anything else. If your item hasn't arrived yet, it should arrive soon. If it doesn't, then you'll want to open a case in our Resolution Centre. You can learn how to do this, plus find timelines for opening cases, at: http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html  I received the same message for the other two items.  I checked the listings and sure enough they were removed and the seller is NO LONGER AN EBAY USER. This member was a member since July 2014. Rating was 96.2%. I read the negative reviews only to find after the fact I already paid that the seller is not reliable - ships totally different items, doesn't ship at all, wrong tracking no, doesn't respond to emails, doesn't issue refunds, etc. I feel like this seller is a fraud and many other buyers were cheated recently. Moreover, the items I won were NOT marked as shipped before the seller no longer existed as a user on Ebay. So basically the seller took the money, hasn't shipped the item, and there is no way to contact him or her via Ebay. There is a personal email provided via PayPal in the transaction summary, but that could be a fake or the seller most likely won't respond. I did send an email and no answer so far. I wanted to know if there was anyone else in the same boat? What have you done so far? Will you wait till the estimated delivery date before opening a case? Thanks. MS

  • Tuning a servo while encoder gives negative position feedback

I want to tune my servo motor (voice coil) manually in MAX. Stable step response is possible, but two problems occure:
    1) When the step is done, the curve displayed on the "Calibration>Servo tune>Step response" tab shows an excitation step line from -70000 to the value I entered under "step length", although I reset the current position in the "1-D interactive" to zero beforehand.
    2) No matter how I change the "step length" value or Ki, the motor step always goes from this above mentioned -70000 to +50000.
To facilitate any hint, mazbe this causes the problems: My encoder head is mounted the way that it gives back negative count values in the positive motor direction. Does this have to be changed or is it possible to also tune the servo with this negative encoder position feedback. Is it even possible the position feedback from - to + within MAX?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Customer solved the problem:
    "Sehr geehrter Herr Wagner,
    Gewicht vertikal kontrollieren lassen.
Ihnen nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung.... Die nächsten
    Probleme kommen für mich bestimmt.
    Freundliche Grüsse,
    Henri Hagenmüller"
