Send a square signal

I have a PCi lab card 6025. i need to control one pump, by sending a square signal, between 0 and 5 Volts. I need to send a signal in intervals of 1 second. Could anyone tell me something about this?

Hello;
That is a simple application which has several examples you can use as your start point. As you weren't specific on what programming language you are using I can't point you to a specific example.
As you need one point per second, you just need to specify the Update Rate of your code to be 1, and then change the data points of the array to be written to the output channel to meet your application needs.

I managed to send a test signal (sine wave) to the device by choosing
the test panel option and choosing Analog output. In the analog output
I could many channels to choose from. ai0, ai1.ai2 and ai3.
I did this by right clicking NI PXI-6259, in the NI DAQmx devices
located in the Devices and Interfaces and choosing test and saw it on
an Oscilloscope without using the NI DAQ OPC capabilities, and I cannot
understand this thing.
1)How can it be possible without making a NI DAQmx channel and Variable?
2) I cannot create any channels in the devices and interfaces located
in My system but I can create NI DAQmx Global Virtual channels easily
in Data neighbourhood in the remote system, Plz tell me why?
3) I want to create a program and choose a channel to send the
signal, can I choose the channel that i create in the remote
system device ? and if yes how can I choose this ?

Can't see or send photos! I just see a white image, and when I send a photo, it just sends white squares

Since last update, when I open my photos, they change to white. I can see them on the grid, but if I try to open them, they change to white. If I try to send a photo, it just sends white squares.

Try:

How to send a ttl signal with a good exactitude less than 10ms?

i have a pci 6013 (8 input channel) and pci 6711 (4 outpout channel).Then i need to send a ttl signal to a camera ccd to take a photo when a waveform sinus is equal at zero (rising), but when i send this TTl signal with dasylab using generator pulse or combi trigger and readind this signal, i have difference between dasylab pulse(that is exactly) and measurement pulse that is approximate 40ms after.But i need to have less than 10ms is it possible?
Frequence rate =1000hz and block size=512 the waveform sinus is 0.2Hz.i have already try to increase the sampling rate but nothing happens.Thank for your help.

Yes, it's possible.
You just have to reduce your block size to 10 !

Hi Mauro,
the code structure is similar to any structure of I/O. You need open the communication channel with the hardware (using VI Open), use VI Write/Read to send/receive data and close the reference (VI Close). You can look the structure in LV examples.
Nevertheless, if you cannot, post your code that I analize to you.

By the time you spend for the nice diadram you might have done the vi
Your DAQ like to have a waveform (array of values and dt ak 1/samplerate)
If you set the samplerate you know the array length , create a array of zeros, and set the values of both amplitudes ...
Since I don't want to wire others homework here are some pictures
And there are some drawbacks is room for improvement in my solution, just think of rounding errors ... and what might happen if the arrays get bigger ....

How to use scb-68 board to send a trigger signal

I am using Labview 8.5. Our DAQ card is scb-68. I want to send a trigger signal out by using the DAQ. Could anybody tell me how to do that?

There is a program in another computer waiting for the trigger signal. We don't need to worry about that computer.
We had a program which can collect data from a temperature controller. When the program start, it also sends a trigger singal out so that the two computers can work simultaneously. But now our temperature controller is changed to a new one. I've built a program to collect data. All what I need now is just sending a trigger signal when the program starts.
One attachment is the former program (writted by using Lab windows), another attachment is my new VI for trigger signal.

Another WRT300N problem
It seems that my router does not send out a signal...
I did update to the latest fimware, all security like MAC, key, firewall etc are disabled, ssid broadcast is enabled, so there are no restrictions no more
LAN intenet connection is no problem, that's the way i work now.
When i scan with the linksys wireless network monitor V.1.09, i cannot trace the router, neither with xp and the integrated wifi card from my notebook.
However just a few times the router flipped on the network monitor, but when i tried to connect , it didn't work : no association with acces point...duh....
A few seconds later he was lost again...
I also tried all channels even auto settings.
I do not know what to do or try for the moment to make the router send out his signal.
Anyone any idea or had the same problem ???

Hi…I think you have already tried everything on your router, now uninstall the wireless card WLAN utility and reinstall only drivers for your wireless card, through found new hardware wizard. Or you can even download the latest drivers from website and install them.

Using WRE to send a wireless signal rather than expand a signal

Hi all, I'm hoping you might be able to help me out on this. I have a Linksys router and a WRE. The router does not have wireless, but i was curious if it's possible to trunk the router to the WRE, and have it send out a wireless signal, rather than pick up on and expand an existing signal. If so, what would i have to do to achieve this.

If the router does not have Wireless then you cannot use your Range Expander...In other word's, what you want to establish is not possible with the Range Expander...
However, this is possible with a Wireless Access Point(WAP54G)...You can connect an Access Point(WAP54G) to your router to send a Wireless Signal...

just the audio, eh?. If you were using DVI or DisplayPort that might be different, but for audio alone, it shouldn't be that hard. Just grab a 3.5 mm stereo plug to 2 rca cables adapter. Plug the smaller end into the back of your Mac Pro (or the Front), where you see either the headphone or speaker icon). Alt-click on the speaker icon at the top of your screen to show all audio inputs and outputs. Make sure it's set to Line Out. Plug the red and white end into the audio in jacks on the back of your tv and set it to the correct input. I don't know if your tv will allow just the audio to play. Usually one has to connect up something else, but hopefully I'm wrong. If you were using DVI, or DisplayPort, you'd need an active DVI--HDMI adapter or a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, but

Digital (square) signal error

I have a problem with MultiSIM 9.0.155.
I have built a circuit shown on this picture http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/9764/digitaltoanalogcircutzw1.png.It is supposed to convert a digital (4bit) signal into analog signal (by it's value) so that when the digital signal is 0000 the analog value is 0V, and when it's for ex. digital sig is 1111 the analog value is of 2V... (this circuit uses a two 8-LED bars to indicate which "switch is on", and there isnt an analog signal output yet...)
This circut should work fine, but: When I tried to simulate a 4bit value with a four function generators (with frequencyes set to 1Hz, 2Hz, 4Hz, and 8Hz) the result is something like this:

I replaced four function gens with 4 batteries as a source but still the signal is the same??...-> an square alternating current with rising and falling edges...

Hi there,
I'm not sure how you created this schematic, but somehow, the 4 nets (a.k.a wires) that you are measuring have the same name! When Multisim starts simulating, it treats all wires by the same name as a single electrically connected wire. That is why you saw the same signal on all 4 channels of your oscilloscope. There is a way to fix this:
Right click on one of the wires, lets say the one you labeled bit 0
Click properties
Change the net name to b0
Click OK
Multisim is going to tell you that you have other wires that have the same name but are not connected. Tell Multisim that you do not want to change the names of the other wires.
Now repeat this for the remaining 3 bits, but name them b1, b2 and b3
I bet there may be other wires in your design that have the same problem. Unfortunately, I think you will have to manually go through your design and find them all.
If you ever find out what you did to make this happen, please let us know. We are always interested to know how to make Multisim easier to use so that mistakes like these don't happen.

I created a Mask, in such a way that if my signal leave the Mask. I will have a Message Error. It's work but I should each time modify the values of Culsters of the function 'Limit Specification" If I change the Signal

Do you want to do this comparison on the fly or post processing? You are currently doing a post processing.

How do I "send a video signal out to my tv" on an iPhone?

I tried exactly this but it didn't work. I was able to get to the TV out and set it but no video came out. I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 6 and bought the cables from Apple. Any other ideas? I can plug a vcr or dvd into the same video inputs on the tv and that works fine.

Apple TV not sending a good signal... Help?

When I connect my AppleTV to my TV in the same room (6ft of cable) both the HDMI and the component send a great signal to the TV, but when I connect the AppleTV to my upstairs TV (65 ft)yes ... 65ft, there is no HDMI signal and the component signal is a blurred screen. Everything else seems to work with the longer cables, (comcast box, DVD/VCR player, etc) it is just the apple TV that does not work.
Does the Apple TV send a weaker HDMI/Component signal?
I tried a repeater / booster on the HDMI cable... still no luck.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

It suggests that anything over 50 feet is potentially troublesome.
This may be the one exception where buying expensive cable is worth it. Have you tried more than one cable, or tried the ATV cable with the devices that you say have "stronger signal?"
