Send Array to PHP with HTTPService

How can I send an array via HTTPService to a PHP script
please?
If I do this:
var params:Object=new Objsect();
params.myData=myDataArray; //myDataArray is an Array var that
I need to send
myService.send(params);
It will not pass on an array.
How can I pass the Array to PHP?

u can convert the array in to a string in FLEX and in PHP u can use the "split" command...
here s sample program see if it helps u

    I use the HttpService to send the data to the php-file, but I always get the Fault message (form phpFault()).

  • How do i send an array of clusters with variable size over TCP/IP?

    Hi,
            I'm trying to send an array of clusters with varible size over TCP/IP,. But I'm facing the following problems:
    1) I need to accept the size of array data from the user and increase the size dynamically.
    I'm doing this using the property node but how do I convey the new size to my TCP read?
    2) I need to wire an input to my 'bytes to read' of the TCP read.
    But the number of bytes to read changes dynamically
    How do I ensure  the correct number of bytes are read and reflected on the client side?
    3) Is there anyway I can use global varibles over a network such that their values are updated just as if they would on one computer?
     Will be a great help if someone posts a solution!
    Thank you...

    its no longer just the first four bytes that specify the length of the data, it could be more as my array of cluster can be pretty huge.
    Instead of writing long and complicated sentences that make little sense, why don't you simply show us your code?
    What does any of this have to do with xml strings???? I don't see how using a local variable as type input changes anything. The user cannot interact with "property nodes", just with controls. Please clarify. Once the array of clusters is flattened to a string you only have one size that describes the size of the data, no matter how huge it is (as long as it is within the limits of I32). Similarly, you read the string of that same defined length and form the array of clusters from it. How big are the strings? What is your definition of "huge"?
    Here's is my earlier code, but now dealing with an array of clusters. Not much of a change. Since you have columns, you want 2D. Add as many diensions you want, but make sure that the control, diagram constant, and indicator all match.
    The snipped shows for a 1D array, while the attached VI shows the same for a 2D array. Same difference.

    not really nessecary but whould be a nice  jextra
    You can but you would need to send it as an html email which is much more complicated.
    What you would do is build a page/table construction like below. You would need to use the php variables to echo out the information in the <td></td> cells (example below).
    $reply = $_POST['email'];
    $from = '[email protected]';
    $replysubject = "Auto-Reply: Website Name";
    $headers  = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n";
    $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";
    $headers .= "From: $from\r\nReply-to: $reply";
    $replymessage = '
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

    <body>

    </table>
    </body>
    </html>';
    mail($reply, $replysubject, $replymessage, $headers);

  • Calling and re-calling with httpservice

    Here is a strange thing I ran into today. I have a program
    which queries a DB through an aspx script called with httpservice.
    A user clicks on a name, the query runs, and populates a form with
    data from the database. The user can then edit the information and
    submit the form to another script which makes changes to the DB.
    That is all working except that when the user clicks on the same
    name again, the old information is returned. I have verified that
    the DB is being altered with the submit script. If I close the
    application and reopen it and select the user again, then the
    modified data is there. Is there something I am missing the
    httpservice call? I've tried setting the array used for the result
    data to null. I even put just a text field on the page and printed
    the results of the query to it. It shows the old data too. It seems
    like it's not actually running the query again like it should, but
    rather taking the values from some place in memory until I close
    the app and reopen it. Any ideas?
    Relevant parts of my code are posted.

    OK...I've figured out that it is not actually calling the
    page again. I had my aspx page log an entry each time the page was
    called and for some reason, even though I am using the send(), it
    does not actually go out and resend the data to the page. Anyone
    know why?

    yes, you can send integer value like this. But I think you have to put quotes around <%= TAMID%> i.e.

    Frequence rate =1000hz and block size=512 the waveform sinus is 0.2Hz.i have already try to increase the sampling rate but nothing happens.Thank for your help.

    Yes, it's possible.
    You just have to reduce your block size to 10 !

  • User event for array of waveforms with attribute

    I have been transferring data in a Producer/Consumer architecture via User Events.  The data consisted of an array of waveforms. When I added an attribute to the waveforms the code breaks with two errors about Create User Event: User event data type is unnamed or has elements with no names or duplicate names, and Contains unwired or bad terminal.
    From reading the help on user events it is not clear that arrays are even allowed: "user event data type is a cluster of elements or an individual element whose data type and label define the data type and name of the user event."
    From experimentation it seems that arrays of numerics and arrays of wavefroms without attributes work. A single waveform with an attribute can also be used. But an array of the same waveform with attribute leads to a broken run arrow. It also appears that I can put the array of waveforms with attributes inside a cluster and then create the user event.
    Is this a bug, an undocumented corner case, or some "feature" that I do not understand?
    Searching for User Event for Array of Waveforms generates some interesting, but mostly irrelevant results.

    Another option would be typecasting, but it looks like you can't typecast a waveform. Variant to Data or Coerce to Type might also work, but I haven't tried.
    I have also done the Flatten To String and Unflatten From String to send data around.  It would be preferable to not need to do that though.

  • How to send array of bytes to a servlet and store it in a file

    Hi,
    How to send array of bytes to a servlet and store it in a file.
    I am new to Servlets. if possible for any one, please provide the code.
    Thanks,
    cmbl

    Through HTTP this is only possible with a POST request of which the encoding type is set to multipart/form-data. You can use Apache Commons FileUpload to parse such a multipart form data request into useable elements. From the other side (the client) you can use a HTML <input type="file"> element or a Java class with Apache Commons PostMethod API.

  • Oracle 8i array DML operations with LOB objects

    Hi all,
    I have a question about Oracle 8i array DML operations with LOB objects, both CLOB and BLOB. With the following statement in mind:
    INSERT INTO TABLEX (COL1, COL2) VALUES (:1, :2)
    where COL1 is a NUMBER and COL2 is a BLOB, I want to use OCIs array DML functionality to insert multiple records with a single statement execution. I have allocated an array of LOB locators, initialized them with OCIDescriptorAlloc(), and bound them to COL2 where mode is set to OCI_DATA_AT_EXEC and dty (IN) is set to SQLT_BLOB. It is after this where I am getting confused.
    To send the LOB data, I have tried using the user-defined callback method, registering the callback function via OCIBindDynamic(). I initialize icbfps arguments as I would if I were dealing with RAW/LONG RAW data. When execution passes from the callback function, I encounter a memory exception within an Oracle dll. Where dvoid **indpp equals 0 and the object is of type RAW/LONG RAW, the function works fine. Is this not a valid methodology for CLOB/BLOB objects?
    Next, I tried performing piecewise INSERTs using OCIStmtGetPieceInfo() and OCIStmtSetPieceInfo(). When using this method, I use OCILobWrite() along with a user-defined callback designed for LOBs to send LOB data to the database. Here everything works fine until I exit the user-defined LOB write callback function where an OCI_INVALID_HANDLE error is encountered. I understand that both OCILobWrite() and OCIStmtExecute() return OCI_NEED_DATA. And it does seem to me that the two statements work separately rather than in conjunction with each other. So I rather doubt this is the proper methodology.
    As you can see, the correct method has evaded me. I have looked through the OCI LOB samples, but have not found any code that helps answer my question. Oracles OCI documentation has not been of much help either. So if anyone could offer some insight I would greatly appreciate it.

    Before 9i, you will have to first insert empty locators using EMPTY_CLOB() inlined in the SQL and using RETURNING clause to return the locator. Then use OCILobWrite to write to the locators in a streamed fashion.
    From 9i, you can actually bind a long buffer to each lob position without first inserting an empty locator, retrieving it and then writing to it.

    Never mind, I'm in a habit of answering my own posts these days. Just create
    a job configuration in printcon that uses a device with the appropriate
    device modes.
    Is it just me, or is Netware queue-based printing a bit on the obtuse side?
    Seems like it could have been made a whole lot easier (more linear?) to set
    up.

  • How can I send a post query with attached data using Labview?

    Hi,
    I need to send data (a file of 5KB) to a php server.
    In order to do it, I need to send a post request with attached data.
    I'm using Labview 6.1 and I have the Internet Toolkit.
    But I just see the Get Method. Isn't implemented the post method in Labview?
    Thanks for your help
    Best regards

    Hi,
    In order to use the POST request method as opposed to the GET request method I used a VI set up as shown in the attached GIF.
    From the front panel you need to provide values for the 3 inputs. "Bytes to read" is an arbitrarily large number that meets or exceeds the maximum number of bytes you expect as a response from your server. "Address" is just the URL of the server, e.g. "10.90.1.1" or "localhost" or "www.google.com". "Data in" is the actual request you're sending with the data included.
    "Data in" would be in a format similar to everything in the quotes below (important to have 2 carriage returns to finish the request);
    POST /phppage.php HTTP/1.1
    Content-Length: ??
    Host: http://www.mywebserver.com
    Content-Type: application/x-www-form
    -urlencoded
    email=[email protected]&password=mypassword
    For sending your data file you just have to set the requisite MIME-type and then include the file data in place of the form data in the example above.
    Hope this helps,
    Neil

  • Sending arrays from Excel into Labview

    I want to send an array from Excel VBA into a LabView VI.
    The Excel example shows how to send individual numbers and return an array into Excel but not send an array.
    Everything tried sends blank arrays into LabView, which can then be modified in LabView and returned to Excel.
    A VBA code snippit that does not work is:
    Sub LoadData()
    ' LoadData Macro
    ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+l
    ' This is an example to demonstrate LabVIEW's Active-X server capabilities.
    ' Executing this macro loads a LabVIEW supplied example VI "Frequency Response.vi",
    ' runs it and plots the result on an Excel Chart.
    Dim lvapp As LabVIEW.Application
    Dim vi As LabVIEW.VirtualInstrument
    Dim paramNames(0)
    Dim paramVals As Variant
    Set lvapp = CreateObject("LabVIEW.Application")
    viPath = lvapp.ApplicationDirectory + "\examples\apps\freqresp.llb\DAK Frequency Response.vi"
    Set vi = lvapp.GetVIReference(viPath)   'Load the vi into memory
    vi.FPWinOpen = True                     'Open front panel
    paramNames(0) = "Foo"
    paramVals = Sheet1.Range("j1:j1000").Value
    Call vi.Call(paramNames, paramVals)
    This code generates an error - expecting 1D array or variants.
    However, if I supply the correct array, then LabView thinks it is empty
    'foo' is a cluster
    'Array' is a double array
    Neither work to receive the data

    Thanks for the reply but that approach will be difficult.  The problem to solve is relatively simple IF LabView could read arrays (it writes arrays easily).  Here is the problem:
    I want to convolute two large arrays.  I have written VBA programs to do this but they take too long - over 30 sec whereas the LabView version take <1 sec IF I could get the data into LabView.
    The convolute is part of an optimization program that goes though many loops so that it takes hours to run efficiently AND if I manually change cells in the spreadsheet, then it takes 30sec to come back as VBA does not respect clean cells (for some reason).
    I was trying to write a function in VBA to do this calculation via LabView rather than VBA.  One way to  do this is to write a text file in VBA and read in LabView, then pass the results back or maybe the clipboard as a buffer.  That is faster but clumsy.  You could also have LabView look for dirty cells and then do the calculation as the server rather than the client.  Again, time consuming and cumbersome.  I have written pure LabView code to do the curve fitting but prefer to use Excel as that is easier to incorporate and work with the data.   You can do convolute using FFTs but Excel does not do that correctly - they CANNOT make their FFTs into a function (VBA functions cannot modify cells in the spreadsheet but only return variables.  FFT modifies cells so cannot be called from a function, only a macro, which then needs to be updated manually).  Again, I can kluge VBA (real kluge this time) to make FFTs work as a function BUT prefer the LabView solution, if possible, as I am not sure the FFT will actually save time.
    I am not sure if the problem is LabView's fault or Excel's (2013) fault that the variables are not set-up properly.  LabView claims to be able to do this.  Again, you can pass single variables into LabView and read back arrays but try as I might, I cannot get arrays into LabView.
    Any help in sending arrays (maybe Labview expects a variant variable and needs to convert it somehow) would be appreciated.  Variants are suppose to be able to be converted automatically but maybe there is a bug in LabView (2010) that does not handle input variant arrays correctly (I have tried making them clusters, double arrays, ect).  LabView thinks that all the arrays sent by VBA are empty. If LabView modifies the same array, VBA sees that modification so that the addresses appear to be sent correctly i.e. the array "handle" is being sent to LabView or else it could not fill the array to send back to VBA.
    If ever this is solved, I will put on-line the solution for others as again marrying both programs will have advantages.  Others may find this interesting is marry LabView with Excel so that LabView does some of the heavy calculations that Excel has kluged.
