Hi all,
i am using call transaction in my program and collectiong messages into megtab(of type bdcmsgcoll)..
1)can anyone please tel me how to process the messages and
2) how to send the messages to spool

Bdc messages in spool

Hi all,
I am using call transaction to run a bdc.
here all the messages whether success/error are displayed as type "S". so its difficult to capture error messages.
It executes fine in foreground and all the errors are displayed on the top of page but when i check the spool, only first message gets displayed.
Can anyone plz help me.

It should be in error in your code : you should put messages in an internal table to get them.
You could also check your program in 'A' mode to know where there are errors.

Cfmail spool sending one message at a time

I have mx7 standard installed on win 2003 server
a cfmail page sends files to the spool corectly.
The spool is only sending out one message every 60 seconds or
so. Changing the spool interval has no effect.
these need to go out a lot faster than this.
the mail.log is showing this but i'm not sure it's the
problem.

I would suggest playing with the other mail specific
settings, such as #of mail delivery threads, but my guess is you've
already messed with these.
Perhaps it has nothing to do with CF, but rather a bottleneck
with the process that is creating the emails. How many emails are
you trying to send?
Is it a query driven mail tag?
Another aspect to check would be the version of JRUN being
used by CF. You might find an update to a newer version of JRUN
would solve the problem.
Given the errors you've listed (SocketTimeout), they seem to
be JAVA specific.

How to send an ALV to Spool

Dear all,
Could you please help, my requirement is to send an ALV report as a PDF attachement to a list of email address. My plan is to send the ALV to spool and read it from there and email it. However I have a problem in as much as the ALV is not being sent to spool, furthermore I also get print dialog popup when running the report. Can you please help, i am using CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' I have browsed here and there are several questions on this topic but they do not address the issue of sending the file to the spool. I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

Cannot send email via AOL on iPad2 - "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed."

My CEO has an ipad2 and I set it up w/ AOL. She cannot send any email via her AOL account from her iPad. She gets a message that says "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed." We've tried it on wifi and on 3G (Verizon version). I've removed the account and added it, I've tried setting it up as an IMAP account vs. using Apples standard AOL mail setting and nothing seems to work. The SMTP settings are smtp.aol.com, port 587. I've tried adding an alternate server/smtp, but I haven't been able to find anything that works. Any advice or other people having this issue? It works fine sending an email from her aol web mail. And unfortunately, having her sign up for a gmail account is not an option. Thanks

Interesting. Firstly I have been on AOL since the early 90s with no current intention to switch as my primary personal email account.
I have two email accounts on my iphone - AOL and my email from my business website. I deleted both and then recreated first the business account and then the AOL account. Same error. Then I wasn't sure what you suggested but I turned off the AOL SMTP server and selected the business email SMTP server by turning it on with the same result. I still get the error "A Copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the mssage content to the server failed."
Perhaps this problem will get fixed by IOS 6. AOL will not talk to me unless I pay and Apple says its not their problem. So for the time being I use the AOL web interface in the iPhone's Safari to send emails from the phone.

How long has it been going on? I've had my yahoo mess up and if i wait a bit it resolves itself. Yahoo is doing something with their servers and it messes with your mail if your mail happens to be on one of those servers.

Can't send text messages (can only recieve). How do I change Service Center Number

Hello. As my subject states, i can't seem to send text messages (but i can receive them). I'm told by my carrier that i need to change my service center number (and they provided it). I've been looking all over the phone for this option, and can't seem to find it. I keep seeing posts saying "On your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." but "service center" does not appear when i go to options>SMS text. I see the following; screen options conversation style: show names: message options priority: callback number: disable autotext: so my question is;, where do i find this?

I deleted a contact out of my iPhone 4S but when I go to send a message the contact appears although that individual is no longer in my address book. I deleted all text and call history pertaining to the deleted contact but still shows up.

On previous iPhones you could go to settings and block the the actual text message from pooping up. Only the sender would show up. On the i4gs the sender and message show up. This is a major flaw as far as privacy. There are no options with in settings to

YOU ARE WRONG.
Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages. You can turn Notifcation Center off for Messages, or select None for the alert style, and turn Show Preview off, and view in Lock Screen on or off.
