Send page in EMAIL

Hi,
Is it possible to send a page as it is via mail to users. I have one page which has few reports and some graphs. I want to send the whole page as HTML to user Inbox, is that possible using APEX_MAIL.
I was going though this thread
Send page in rtf format via email
and if I am not wrong this will send the URL as a link. I don't want to send a link but the page itself.
Can anyone help please.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Amar

This doesn't answer your question exactly, because I don't know how to send "a report" or "a graph" via email, but perhaps by looking at this you can work something out. This sends an email with page elements (not an URL to a page, but actual html stuff)
declare
  l_body_html varchar2(4000);
begin
l_body_html := '<html><body>This is a table with three columns, table title element:'||:P7_DPR||'
<table border=1 bordercolor="#0000FF" width=900><tr><td width=200><font size="2" face="Times">Parameter</font></td><td width=350>Value</td><td width=350>Remarks</td></tr>
<tr><td>Description</td><td>'||:P7_DESC||'</td><td>'||:P7_DESC_REMARKS||'</td></tr>
<tr><td>Retrieval Code</td><td>'||:P7_RETRIEVALCODE||'</td><td>'||:P7_RETRIEVAL_REMARKS||'</td></tr>
<tr><td>Additonal Information</td><td>'||:P7_ADDITIONAL||'</td><td>'||:P7_ADD_REMARKS||'</td></tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>';
  HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND(
      P_TO       => :P7_EMAILTO,
      P_CC       => :P7_EMAILCC,
      P_FROM     => '&[email protected]',
      P_SUBJ     => :P7_EMAILSUBJ,
      P_BODY     => l_body_html,
      P_BODY_HTML=> l_body_html);
    htmldb_mail.push_queue('mail.mydomain.com','25');
end;One idea that might have merit would be to produce a PDF report with all your content, then email that PDF report? That sounds like a fun research project.

  • Send - "Page by Email" disabled for PDF document in IE

    Hi,
    We're currently running 10g reports, through 10g Application Server (Forms&Reports) and producing PDF documents that are displayed in Internet Explorer.
    When viewing the report output the send "Page by Email" function is disabled. My outlook works fine and I've checked that my Email client is set to outlook in IE program settings.
    Anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to enable the "Page by Email" function?
    Note: I've also noticed that the View -> Source function is disabled.
    Thanks,
    Graeme

    Oh, before I forget View -> Source for a PDF document being disabled makes sence because its not a HTML document. PDF documents are viewable via a browser only with that to the downloadable pluggable com object that adobe (and other pdf reader software providers) provides us with.
    Cheers

  • Send Page by Email

    Hi there~ I have a large cf application with about 100 people
    who use it regularly. Sometimes when they output a coldfusion
    report, they decide to use the browser feature "Send page by
    Email"; this inevitably results in an email to me as to why the
    dynamic output of the report they see in their browser is not the
    same as the html file they emailed to so and so.
    It seems that the attached html file is the page minus any
    variables that were sent to it; so it is never correct or just
    missing. How do I correct this via programming; or if that is not
    possible, how do I explain to my users why this ie feature will not
    work with my dynamic pages.
    Thanks very much in advance for any assistance with this,
    Wolf mom

    I was merely suggesting a way for you to combat the problem.
    You aren't going to be able to change how the browser
    functions, so if you want the capability to email reports, you will
    have to take a look at what you can control, IE your application.

  • Send page by email attaching to Lotus as a link instead of a pdf attachment

    Acrobat reader in internet explorer - Send page by email attaching to Lotus as a link instead of a pdf attachment any ideas? was working fine yesterday. Ive reset the Internet explorer settings , cleared cashe, was gonna try to reinstall next

    I don't think that Adobe Reader is involved in any of this; it looks like a purely IE functionality.

  • HOW DO I SEND "PAGES" IN EMAIL SO THAT OTHERS CAN READ IT?

    HOW DO I SEND "PAGES" DOCUMENTS SO PC'S CAN READ THEM?

    Open the document, click Share in the Menu Bar > Send a Copy > Email > PDF is the safest but not easily edited on PC. You can choose Word if you know the person you are sending to has Microsoft Word.

  • How can I send a website page by email with Firefox, not just the link?

    I am unable to SEND web pages with Firefox.
    With Internet Explorer, I simply go to FILE - Send - Page by email, (or Link by email). By sending the page, I can add some comments, remove some advertising, and/or highlight points I would like to highlight.
    The question then, is there a way to Send - Page by email in Firefox?
    If so, I will make it my default browser.
    Thank you.

  • How do i send a link or page via email with firefox?

    i am new to firefox. had internet explorer for a long time. when i found a site on the internet that i wanted to share with a friend, there were choices somewhere on the menu bar or where the tabs are that said "send link via email" and "send page via email". when i selected one of these, a new email would open in yahoo with the link or page in the body, and i could send this to any contact. can't find these options here. please help! thank you!

    There is an option to "Send Link..." in the File menu. Firefox does not have a built-in send page by email option.

    Hi.....
    Just a quick question if i may.....
    Is it possible to send a web page by e-mail?. If so how is this done.
    Best Regards.

    This is standard functionality in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox - there is, however, an add-on ''Send Page By Email'' - '''''http://sendpagebyemail.mozdev.org/''''' but I understand it supports only Windows platforms. • How do I send a page via email in the body of the mail and not as an attachment?

    I wish to send a page via email in the body of the mail. The only option to send a page appears to be to save it first and then attatch to the mail.

    When you are in the Plan View, right click on the icon for the page that you want to omit from the menu. Near the bottom, you'll see Menu Options, click on that and you'll have the choice to Exclude Page from Menus.

  • Send All Page By Email

    Dear
    I Need To know if there is way to send entire page by email in apex , I use Apex 4.0
    thanks

    You can send the link from within the browser, but something tells me that's not what you mean?
    There are quite a few good extentions out there (I prefer 'Easy Copy' myself) that allow you to copy the source code of a page in just one click, which you can then use in an email. Perhaps this is a good alternative?

  • Sending a web page by email

    Internet Explorer would provide an option under the File Menu to send a page by email. All I see, is send a link. Is there not a way to do this in Firefox without copying the entire page and posting in an email??

    Hi John,
    I'm afraid I no longer have a copy of Panther running so I can only comment on what I see in Tiger at the moment (how quickly the memory fades...).
    Tiger has the same Grab services menu entry, and from what you described it seems to behave the same - i.e. it doesn't allow you to take a snapshot of Safari. It will let me select it if I'm running AddressBook however... So, I'm not quite sure what's going on I'm afraid. It looks like certain applications allow themselves to have screenshots taken while others don't. If anyone else knows the reason please enlighten us.
    By the way, the Grab reference I made was to Preview File menu -> Grab, not the Services menu. You should be able to perform the same thing from the Grab application directly in Panther (/Applications/Utilities/Grab if I recall rightly).

    They already have your number and/or email address and maybe have sold it several times already to others as well. They also use number generators - software that will automatically create them - some work and some don't, they don't care, they send out millions and a few will fall for it and send them money. The only way to "hide" would be to change both and your password, but then it would happen again at some point.
