Send Querystring to new window.

Question

I am using the below Javascript to open a window:
var newwindow = '';
function check(url)
if (!newwindow.closed && newwindow.location)
newwindow.location.href = url;
else
newwindow=window.open(url,'name','height=200,width=150');
if (!newwindow.opener) newwindow.opener = self;
if (window.focus) {newwindow.focus()}
return false;
I need to pass the value of a hidden field to this new window
in a
querystring but I am not sure how to do this. Can anybody
help me please?

I'm not the best at Javascript, but try the following:
function check(url)
var newURL = url + '?param=' +
document.getElementById("hiddenfieldname").value;
if (!newwindow.closed && newwindow.location)
newwindow.location.href = newURL;
else
newwindow=window.open(newURL,'name','height=200,width=150');
if (!newwindow.opener) newwindow.opener = self;
if (window.focus) {newwindow.focus()}
return false;
