Sender Mail Adapter - Incoming Mail Validation

Hi Group,
I am using sender mail Adapter to read the incoming mails from mail server,I have couple of questions:
1.How we can configure adapter to read the mails from particular user.
2.after reading the mail I am only taking subject line in to the mapping,is there any way we can validate whether the incoming
   subject line is in the right define form or not.
3.how we can archive once after reading mail.
4.Is there any performance affect on settling polling interval.
Could you please help .
Regards,
Rajiv

    Is it possible to highlight text in Apple Mail for incoming mails and outgoing mails?

    If you mean that you wish to highlight messages from certain people or domain names, then if you select Preferences under 'Mail' (top left hand corner next to the Apple logo when you're in the mail application) and then select the right hand icon marked 'rules', then click on Add Rule and hopefully the rest is fairly self explanatory.

  • Mail Adapter - Multiple mail ID and multiple mail servers config.

    Hi All
    I am doing BPM synch scenario in which i get the response from SAP box and send the response via email adapter. I am using mail.xsd and doing mail config. in message mapping. However in the TO field i am able to give only one email ID. If i give multiple email ID's mail is not received. I tried comma and semi-colon as separator. Still not working? I have two questions in configuring TO option:
    1) How to send to multiple id's? I am using Lotus Notes.
    2)How to send to multiple mail servers? I have to send to Lotus Notes id's and outlook express id's also simultaneously.
    Thanks for your help in advance
    Warm Regards
    Samuel

    Hi,
    Please find here with some observations about it,
    1) How to send to multiple id's? I am using Lotus Notes.
    If you have specified an IMAP server under URL, the message is saved in the specified folder but is not sent to the receiver specified under To.
    Then even if Under To, you had specified the e-mail address that will receive the message would be separated with a semicolon. It will not work.
    Please verify about it .

    Not likely to be spyware, but try canceling and see what some of the messages that get downloaded are.  It's possible that your account has been hacked and used to send spam, and you're getting flooded with bounces and angry complaints.

  • Receiver Mail adapter - Invalid mail adapter

    We have been getting the following error with our Mail adapters. We are on PI 7.31.
    MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error: invalid XIMailAdapter channel
    This error happened almost 3 weeks back. I just went and re-activated the comm. channel and it started working...
    Today again , we had this same issue and I went in re-activated the comm. channel and it worked. So I am confused as to why it went into Invalid mail adapter status. Any ideas? The last email was sent almost 2 weeks back.. Could this be due to inactivity?

    Hi ,
    This can be due to many reasons .Most probable reason can be SP upgrade or some other basis activity performed related to SMTP server or so.

  • Re-importing backed up mail account incoming mail

    How do I re-import just one of several mail box'es incoming mail that was previously backed up to an external hard drive and accidentally erased in Mac Pro purchased in 2011 and using snow leopard 10.6.8? Thank you.

    As JHarris1993 said, this is BOSS! Thank you.
    I used this solution to recreate a profile I was using under one Windows 7 account in another account on the same machine. The profile was successfully recreated but I noticed that the email accounts in the profile were still pointing to the data files from
    the other account, which is not surprising at all.
    Unfortunately no easy way exists for re-pointing email accounts to alternate file locations. I have five different email accounts in this profile (2 IMAP, 2 Outlook Hotmail Connector and one Exchange), and looks like there are solutions and workaround for
    each type of account which work with varying degrees of success.
    Changing location of pst data file for
    IMAP email account
    Changing
    location of ost data file for an Exchange email account
    Changing location of ost data file for a Hotmail Connector email account
    Thanks Again,

  • Mail account INCOMING MAIL field empty

    Since upgrading to 10.7.2 I am unable to connect to a MacMe/iCloud account from my wife's iMac 20/ Mid 2007 though there is no problem with her GMail account or connecting to a MacMail account from my login on the same machine.
    When examining the MacMail account in Mail/Preferences/Accounts the INCOMING MAIL SERVER field is empty, greyed & displaying mail.example.com, and unselectable.  If I make any changes to the account info I get an "cannot have empty incoming mail server field" error messages when saving.
    I created a duplicate of the account with a different name entering mail.me.com in the INCOMING MAIL SERVER field.  When I made this account active the field again defaulted to empty.
    Migrating to iCloud did not resolve this issue.

  • Problem with Mail "Invalid Incoming Mail Server"

    I changed my iCloud password today and then tried to update password settings on my MacBook Air in System Preferences and Mail.  I first started in System Preferences/iCloud.  I signed out and then signed back in with new password.  Everything updated except Mail, which prompted me to update settings in the Mail application.  When I launched Mail, my iCloud account was missing, so I created a new iCloud account in Preferences. This is where the trouble began.  I was able to successfully create the account, but when I tried to make any changes to the default setting (i.e. changing Junk mail filtering in Mailbox Behaviors), I was prompted to save my changes (as normal), BUT then I received this error message:
    Invalid Incoming Mail Server.
    The "Incoming Mail Server" field cannot be empty.
    [OK]
    The only option was to click OK and then lose the changes.  I tried deleting the account and starting over.  I tried restarting the laptop.  I tried signing back out of iCloud in System Preferences.  Nothing has worked.  I'd like to make changes to the account settings and not get stuck with the default settings.  Incidentally, when I looked up this issue in previous discussions, I tried the other recommendations that seemed to work for everyone else, but hasn't worked for me.
    FYI, I'm running the most recent version of Mountain Lion.
    If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love some help with this.
    Thanks!
    P.S. Why does Apple make everything so hard when you need to change a password?  This has cost me hours of time, not to mention my sanity.
    P.P.S.  I've had no issues in updating my iPhone and iPad.

    Unfortunately that did not work.  I unchecked mail and restarted my computer.  Went back in & checked mail.  I have an appointment at Apple Genius Bar on Monday.  Thank you for the suggestion.

  • Server incoming mail, server incoming mail

    my incoming server name is greyed out and called: p01-imap.mail.me.com
    I have the feeling it does not work in this way.
    What is the right setting?
    Thanks

    imap.mail.me.com is correct. The p number is added by the system (it may be geographical) and you should not add it yourself. If you are having connection problems the first thing to do is to sign out in System Preferences>iCloud and then sign back in again, re-enabling Mail and any other data types in the checkboxes there. Your data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out but will re-appear when you sign back in.

  • Sender Mail adapter get no mails

    Hello,
    we are using the sender mail adapter to receive mails (IDOCS) from a Exchange server.
    A few days it works, but suddenly no mails are received.
    But in RWB the mail adapter status is green and shows, that there are no new mails. But when I check the mail box with OUTLOOK, there are some mails.
    When I deactivate and activate the mail adapter, all mails are read then.
    Pollinterval: 1 minute
    XI: SP10

  • XI: Sender Mail Adapter - Mailinformation

    Hi there,
    we are currently developing an email to multiple IDOC szenario which works fine so far.
    We receive emails with an attachement. In the mail-sender-chanel we use swap-bean and an itemfield parsing to get this attachement into xml.
    My problem is, that we have to generate an status-email back to the sending party.
    So my question: how can i get the emailaddress of the sender in the Mapping or perhaps through other ways ..
    The Information is still in the payload 'MailMessage', but i dont know how to get it.
    Thanks
    Harald

    Hello,
    my Problem is not to set the adresse from the email-receiver. We are using the mailpackage for this and it works fine.
    but we have to generate an answer to an incomming mail. So we have to get the email-sender from this incoming mail.
    we can not read it directly out of the xml-structure, because we used swap-bean in the cummunicationchanel to access the attachement of the file and transform it into xml.
    so this xml is, what we get into our mapping and not the mailinformation.
    but as mentioned in my first post, the mail-xml is still ther in the payload. So I think that there must be a way to get it in a mapping and this way I need to know ...
    Thanks
    Harald

  • Mail-Adapter adds ".bin" to filename of attachment

    Hi!
    I'm sending mails with a dynamic generated filename using the mail-adapter and mail-package. The file extension of the attachment should be ".txt" and the content-type should be "application/EDIFACT"
    When I change the content-type of the attachment in my adapter module by
    TextPayload attachment = msg.createTextPayload();
    attachment.setName("something_dynamically_generated.txt");
    attachment.setContentType("application/EDIFACT");
    The content-type is changed properly, but the file extension ".bin" is added.
    The result is in my example:
    something_dynamically_generated.txt.bin
    How can I stop XI from extending my filename?
    I tried with the MessageTransformBean, but it had no effect.
    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Sudharshan,
    we upgraded from SP15 to SP18, then the problem occured no more.
    I created the attachment in an adapter-module for the mail adapter. Sample code:
    TextPayload attachment = msg.createTextPayload();
    attachment.setContentType("Application/EDIFACT");
    attachment.setName("SomethingDynamicallyGenerated.txt");
    attachment.setText(string_which_contains_the_new_payload);
    msg.addAttachment(attachment);
    It seems that the mail adapter checks now if a filename extension is given. If this is the case, it adds no extension by itself.
    I tested different configurations like mail package and variable transportbinding / adapterspecific attributes, it worked every time.
    Best regards,
    Daniel
