Sending anyType payload to Worklist Application

Hi guys ...
I m stuck with a problem ...
1. I have a BPEL process A which calls another BPEL Proess B which has a Human Task in it
2. The Payload from A is of anyType depending upon diffrnt conditions.
3. When Process B receives the payload from process A it is also anyType...
4.Is there any way how i can show this payload in the worklist Application?
Any suggestion is appreciated
Thank You

Hi Madhu,
Well I am not sure the training will come soon enough to get me through this first project we are using BPEL on, but later is better than never, especially with a tool that has so many options to offer. As far as the information for the Worklist URL, I need to get my hostname. I know the port will stay the same, but the host name will change as the process is deployed from Dev, to Test, to Production, so in the link that you gave me (which is working very well, i might add), where you had "localhost:8888", I hard coded in the place of localhost, the server name for my development system (but that will change from system to system), and the port that we are using. I can write a DB Adapter to get that information, but I was hoping maybe there was a pre-defined function or something I could use in the expression builder to retrieve this. Hope what I am asking makes sense.

  • Java library to send a payload over HTTP

    Hi All,
I want to create a stand alone Java application which should be able to send a payload(XML doc) over HTTP to a server (an Integration Server). Are there any APIs which can create this HTTP request given a payload and send it to a specified URL over the network.
This doesn't need to be a SOAP message, just an HTTP request with a payload. And this should be asynchronous too, ie no response is required from the server. Can this be specified in the QoS?
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

Hi, your idea seems to be interesting. I guess you have a web site, and you want to feed the Http request to a specific URI under the web site. This is nothing new, since WSDL supports HTTP Binding, you can use HTTP Binding to send your HTTP requests to the web site. As to the java library, I thinks JAXWS can do the job. you may turn to WSDL specification for further details about HTTP Binding. I didn't write something like this, but I think it is practical. And if you work it out, it would be very kind of you to tell me how you do it in details by sending me an email: [email protected]

  • BPEL transaction in custom worklist application

    Hi,
How can we be sure about transaction while performing actions within worklist client?
Such an example, we developed an application by using oracle soa suite worklist api's.
Beside task updating, payload adjustion we need to do some other jobs including business logic in our java client application.
In such cases, if there is an exception at java code, it doesnt commit to database but bpel integration code performs... Is there any way which you can control all this functions calling within one transaction? I want to rollback all if you come up with an exception.
I found an xml attribute which you need to configure in wf client config.xml, we use RMI for performing actions...
    participateInClientTransaction true
    How does it work?
    Thanks for help,
    Regards...

    Hi,
Every release of soa suite may have an updated version of the worklist application. So if you customize the application and upgrade your soa suite installation there may be ar risk you get into problems. However, most of the time the updated version solves existing bug and no more than that. An other issue is that if you are using the bpel libraries to connect to a bpel server the client always needs to be of the same version as the server. What you should do is:
    - get the new 10.1.3.3 version of the libraries or install JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
    - update your orabpel.properties file and make sure the bpel home is pointing to the new version
    - update/verify the build.xml that it is pointing to the new libraries
    - rebuild/compile your customized worklist app against the new libraries
    - redeploy the new worklist application to the 10.1.3.3 server

    Hi Clemens,
I have been trying to struggle for quite few days in respect of my input XSD details not appearing in the worklist applciation. Though the jsp appears, but its empty.
I did all steps properly. copying input XSD to initiate task payload etc.
    What might be the reason?
My second question is quite similar to BPEL Workflow. I have an input XSD with 6 complex types. (being generatd using db adapter from a proc having 6 in table types.).
When i generate a default autogenerated task form, its source shows me all red marks, meaning, it's not valid. It's not able to validate td and input tags. I included few jars for the same but in vain.
My quesiton is do I need to do something extra for this to make happen? Also, does BPEL PM 10.1.3.1 supports autogenerated task form with these so many complex types?
Awaiting ur response at the earliest. I am just in end of a major production release.
    Rgds,
    Nikhil

  • Multiple Attachments in Email Payload declaring with Application Types

    Hi XI Experts,
I am currently working on an Email Module to handle multiple attachments. I have read all forum entries to this topic but I got know answer to my question.
    My question:
Is it technically possible to declare more than one Atttachment of the Payload with the tag <Application Type>? From the coding point of view I know that it is possible like this
    for ( int  i = 0; i < XMBMessageOperator.numberOfPayloads(message); i++){
    XMBPayload payload = XMBMessageOperator.getPayload(message, i);
    payload .setPayloadType(PayloadType.APPLICATION);
but does the XI then also process all application attachment messages correctly as separate messages?
So from the coding point of view does the XI iterate over all application attachments and processes the messages?
    best regards,
    Dries

    Hi Dries,
I would suggest to do it using SAPConnect instead of ccBPM.Check this blog.
It splits the payload and sends it as multiple attachment.https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/3007.Source [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] code sends multple attachments as an email.
You have to use the viceversa.Read the thomas jung blogs for further info /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/09/09/receiving-e-mail-and-processing-it-with-abap--version-610-and-higher .

  • Question about Worklist application and attachments

    Hello,
I am using Oracle Bpel 10.1.2.1. I created a simple flow with a user task (Simple workflow). Then , in the worklist application, I attach one file, but when I see the BPELConsole, the oraBPMTaskMessage does not have the reference to the attachment and I am not able to acces the uploaded file. Is there something I am missing?. I already tried the Document Review Sample , and it works fine because I get the file URL in the payload, but when I use the attach option in the worklist application I can't obtain it.
    thanks Nicolas Fonnegra

Task attachments are not sent back and forth in the task XML due to the potential issues with the size of attachments. Hence, you don't see the attachments in the task object in the BPEL process. BPEL XPath extension functions ora:getTaskAttachment(....) (there are a few variations of this) and ora:getTaskAttachmentCount(...) will get the attachments as base64 encoded string. Please look at the extension functions and the user documentation for more details.

  • Rich Worklist Application

    Hello,
We are trying to customize the WorkList application. Our client wants a richer application than the Sample provided out of the box.
Anything out there we could use? Any plans from Oracle to provide a richer Worklist application?
    Thanks,
    -Jay

    Hi Jay,
We are an Oracle Partner focused on providing BPM Solutions. We have built a RIA (Rich Internet Application) for BPM using Flex for customers. Basically, a Rich BPEL Application.
Targeted for ALL Oracle BPEL customers who want more than the Sample BPEL Worklist Application, this RIA offers:
    1. All the rich interactivity you would expect of a Web 2.0 application
    2. Real-time, interactive graphical view of inflight processes for business users.
This gives users complete visibility and status of activities of the process and also allows them to perform all actions.
    3. Real-time updates of the work list and the graphical view. Push technology used so users never have to click refresh.
    4. Custom Views that includes Display of Process Attributes, Multi-column sorting, Group-by
    5. Client-side filtering that includes simple and advanced filtering on Task and Process Attributes
    6. Process Monitoring and Analytics with drill down to activity details including payload, history, faults etc.
The application works for BPA processes transformed to BPEL, as well as processes developed directly in the BPEL Designer.

    Hi
    Thank you for using
Microsoft Office for IT Professionals Forums.
From your description, we can Create a trusted location follow these steps
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Excel Options.
Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click
    Trusted Locations.
If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check
    box.
    Click Add new location.
IMPORTANT   We recommended that you don't make your entire
Documents or My Documents folder a trusted location. Doing so creates a larger target for a hacker to potentially exploit and increases your security risk. Create a subfolder within Documents or My Documents, and make only that folder a trusted location.
In the Path box, type the name of the folder that you want to use as a trusted location, or click Browse to
    locate the folder.
If you want to include subfolders as trusted locations, select the
Subfolders of this location are also trusted check box.
In the Description box, type what you want to describe the purpose of the trusted location.
    Click OK.

  • Bpc 7.5 - not sending data on a specific application

Hi I use SAP BPC 7.5 SP7 patch 1 with Microsoft Sql Server 2008.
    I moved my AppSet from a server 32bit to a server 64bit.
On 32bit server everything works fine.
On 64bit server (64bit configurations written in BPC installation guide applied + no error in Server Manager > DIagnostic): I can't send data on a specific application I have.
On 64bit server: I precessed all dimensions and all applications and then I even optimize. Nothing change.
    I have to applications: A and B.
On Application A I can send data correctly.
On application B in my Input schedules when I send data: everything seems to work fine but afer data refresh on my sheet the value disappear and nothing is written into FactWB table. No error displayed.
Those input scheules are the same I have and working on 32 bit server.
No errors into Windows event viewer so... what can I check or do more? How can I fix it?

  • After updating to 3.6.10 links in Outlook 2007 no longer open - "An error occurred in sending the command to the application"

After updating to Firefox 3.6.10 this morning, Outlook 2007 can no longer open up links embedded in emails. Normally when you clicked a link it would open up Firefox and send you to the website, but when you click on any link it now says:
General failure. The URL was: [url here]
An error occurred in sending the command to the application.
I don't know what happened. I didn't change any other settings on the computer.
I am running Windows 7 64 Professional, MS Outlook 2007 with latest updates, and Firefox 3.6.10

  • Use sender from payload: Sender not in payload

    Hi,
I am currently facing problems with a IDoc -> XI -> Proxy(XI) sceanrio.
The Idoc is received by XI without any problems. No message mapping is required for this scenario. However, the message keeps getting stuck in the Inbound queue (SMQ2). The status text says "Use sender from payload: Sender not in payload".
Can anyone help me out on this?
    Thanks,
    Krishneel

    Check this related problem:

  • Use sender in Payload: Sender not in Payload.

    Hi,
When R3 sends ORDRSP to XI , the BPM in XI sends a Status ( SYSTAT01 IDoc ) back to R3 without any problem. Whereas when R3 sends DELVRY03 to XI, the BPM in XI is not able to send the Status back to R3  and gets stuck in XI Queue. The reason: Use sender in Payload: Sender not in Payload.
Both ORDRSP and DELVRY03 are using the same IDOC Receiver Channel with Take Sender from Payload checked.
Any idea what is causing the message to get stuck in the queue.
    Thanks,
    Sreekanth
