Sending Japanese Character From XI to SAP 4.6C

Dear Expert,
I have a requirement here to send Japanese character from web application --> XI --> IDOC(in 4.6C).
However, it always fail, and I could only see garbage character.
I have tried the suggestion to put the logon language as JA in the RFC destination, but it is not working.
Please kindly help with your suggestion.

Yes off course it is possible.
Generally how we put the CC to our ionternal users like you have to put their email address while sending mail through SAP viq outlook.
The mail will go from SAP but via. outlook and user will receive the mail in Outlook Integration and not inside B1.......
If you want it in B1 then instead of sending mail you can send the same by choosing option Int......

How to copy/send text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port

I am working on one design, actually my requirement as follows
I am receiving financial information document from Banks, which is in the form of BIA2 message format, it looks like text file. This information needs to be sending to SAP ECC system.
I identified some approaches to full fill the requirement
1)Using Conversion agent/or third party tools to convert BIA2 message in to XML, then using PI I will pick up the XML message, convert it in to IDoc.
2)Without any conversion I will copy the same file (original BIA2 message) in to SAP ECC file port, in this case no conversion required, calling some program I will schedule it.
I am looking forward t implement the second approach because it saves lot of money to my client.
Now I am wondering using File adapter can i copy to SAP ECC File Port or I required ABAP proxy?
What is the best approach to copy the BIA message text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port.??

Yes you can do this copy, the only restriction that can happen is the file size.. If you are sure that the fiel will be of few MB at the max then you can use the Configuration part alone and copy it to ECC folder. For doing this you need the following:
1. Sender agreement (mention the sender interface as anything XYZ)
2. Sender communication channel. Pick the file in binary mode
3. Receiver determination (keep both the sender and receiver service as same)
4. Interface Detemiantion (dont specify any mapping and keep the receiver interface name as XYZ)
5. Create receiver agreement (with same service and interface)
6. Use file adapter here

Then you can prepare procedure that will send mail

Now i am able to encode using the below code:

Now i am able to encode to chinese character when the file is in ANSI encoding, i see the CSV data in some form(not chinese).
But when the file is in UTF-8 , and i can see the CSV data in Chinese (when i open in edit plus) , the encoding is not proper. when i remove the encoding the chinese data is coming properly.
The data i am printing on the OAF screen.
Now my doubt is : What type of file shd i be uploading ANSI/UTF-8????
When i see on the local jdev as sop's , the data is seen as ???? but on the screen its printing correctly.
but the data has to be passed to pl/sql procedure.

502 error in sending the request from F5 to SAP PORTAL

Hi All,
I face a problem in NW04S SP13 Level:
I have my Production and Development landscape where I get an HTTP Request from a Oblix Server and pass it to SAP ENTERPRISE PORTAL through F5.
In my Development Landsacpe this request is process by SAP PORTAL
but in my Production landscape it Intermittently fails.
The Only difference between my Production and Development landscape is I have multiple portal instances in my Production where as I have a single instance in my Dev.
When in my Dev landscape I login to portal and Open a ESS - Benefits application it works fine but in the Production Landscape it throws 502 ERROR.
I tried Routing the HTTP Request from my Dev Environment's F5 to Production Environments Portal, and even then it throws error Intermittently.
But If I Pass the request from my Production Environment's F5 to Development Environments Portal it works perfectly fine.
What might be the issue?
Any Idea? Your help is really appreciated.

Hi,
The key to your problem is to understand how to exchange data with the MES. Does it support ISA95/B2MML? Is there a SQL interface? Can you exchange data via Flat File or XML? How about OPC?

IDOC's sending to XI from NON-SAP system

I need to send one IDOC from a NON-SAP sytem to XI. In my scenario I've configured a receiver IDOC adapter with the suitables RFC destination and Port for the SAP R/3 receiver system. We achieve this sending by using the following URL: "http://:/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" but we don´t get any message in XI. We don´t know if we are doing it properly.

Did you try the HTTP client tool that Michal gaves you?
Attention: the URL address that this tool or any other client who wants send messages via XI with http is: http://<our-server>:<http-port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry and not -> http://<our-server>:<our-port>/sap/xi
This URL must be set on the pipeline of XI Business System (role-> Integration Server) as well on integration server configuration.
If you have http port and adapter_plain service (sifc) running it should be working!!!
Open your browser and put the Integration Engine URL http://<our-server>:<http-port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
If its running you should be see this soap message:

Hi,
What ever Dipankar Saha said is correct.
SAP xMII is used for the purpose of connecting ERP and shop floor.
Usually from R/3 system, you can get info in the form of idoc.(through other forms also you can get data. I hope that you have got the data through idoc)
From shop floor, you get data in the form of B2MML.
If you want some data back to ERP, you can use JCO interface present in the
business logic editor. Use this, to find correct BAPI which can push some data into ERP.
Link the data from B2MML field to BAPI field.
Save this transaction and call this where you want.

I have configured HTTP receiver with Addressing type HTTP Destination and configured the HTTP destination field with RFC destination(Connection Type H) created on PI. Here my source and target structures are same i.e DELVRY03. I have triggered DELVRY03 idoc from ECC and i am expecting same xml to be sent to SAP SUS but stuck up with the above mentioned error.
Someone know how fix this problem?

As per my understanding to your scenario, You want to send one IDoc from ECC to SAP SUS system using SAP PI.
So i hope you must have configured on all the steps required to Send one IDoc to PI syste, Secondly, are you using any Standard interface in PI to send data to SAP SUS system? If yes, you need to create an HTTP Destination for that system and then you have to create XI Receiver Adapter with that HTTP destination to post incoming message to SAP SUS system.
Your error suggests you are using Plain HTTP adapter to post data to SAP SUS, which is in my understanding is incorrect.

is not working

Let's summarize - my request concerns a SRM Workflow :
I am ordering an article. When the order is higher than 2'000 USD, I need to get the approval of my manager.
That's the workflow.
Workflow :
1. I am user in DL1 SAP System.
    UserName : CharlesN
    In SU01,
    charles(a)green.com
2. From DL1 SAP system, I order articles. The order total amount is higher than 2'000 USD.
    In the workflow, an mail from DL1 is automatically send to my manager in his MS-Outook inbox.
    (manager(a)green.com)
3. My manager reads the mail I have sent him and give his approvals by clicking on a approvals button.
    When clicking the button, an mail must be automatically send from my manager MS-Outlook inbox
    to DL1 to CharlesN inbox in SBWP in DL1 SAP system.
I have configured SCOT and read OSS Note 455140.
The SAPconnect virtual host is activated in DL1 (SICF).
I think a miss a step in our mail server to relay a mail from MS-Outlook to my SAP system.
Any suggestion is welcome.

How can I decode Japanese character using java from JavaScript escape() function

I have an application which supports Japanese character. I am using JavaScript escape() function to encode the text field before I posted it through web server and then I will just convert it into hex number to decode it through an Integer. It works fine for the character between ascii 1-255. However, it faild on all the double bytes character. All the unicode has the format of "%uXXXX" after it is escaped from JavaScript. How can I resolve the decoding problem?

Please use 'encodeURI()', though it is supported only IE after 5.5.
