Hi all,
Thanks in advance.

4 records i want to send these 4 records as response.
thanx

Hi Pudur,
I am assuming that you are using 11g stack. Please go through below link to know more about DB adapter and it's implementaion in BPEL -

  • Oracle ESB 10g : Blank namespace in the SOAP Response from DB adapter

    Hi All,
    I am currently working on a ESB project to route input XML file as a parameter to a DB Function.
    This Function has a input parameter of type XMLTYPE and returns VARCHAR2 values.
    I have configured the DB Adapter to invoke this function and return the result as a SOAP response.
    The WSDL of DB adapter contains XML_DATA as input and XMLMAIN as the output result.
    The ESB project works fine as expected. But in the result from DB adapter contains a blank namespace [xmlns=""] for the XMLMAIN element .
    I hereby attach the output XML.
    Please help how to remove this blank namespace from the output.
    We are using SOA Suite 10g 10.1.3.5
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">

    well..the problem is..the db adapter has it's own transaction..so the transactions fails or not.
    you're just not capable of checking if the transaction went ok...and return 'process completed ok' or when the transaction failed for some reason return 'the process aborted'.
    So you just need some extra steps for it to be able to return some response-message

  • Response from IDOC adapter

    Hi,
    I have a
    Webservice(EO) -> XI ->IDOC  scenario.
    The webservice wants a acknowledgement back when the IDOC reaches the R/3 system.
    I thought i will configure ALEAUD. but they want the IDOC number  to come as a response ie immediately when the request is sent.Is this possible by any means , considering the fact that the IDOC adapter doesnt support BE QOS?
    I was also thinking of how to configure transport ack for my scenario. I know how to do it in BPM but here i dont have BPM.
    Is there a way to do it?

    Hi Siva,
    I know how to do it in BPM but here i dont have BPM.
    Is there a way to do it?
    If you dont mind having another simple interface  from ECC to Webservice.Once the IDOC gets posted , you can have a report with the change pointer which fetches the IDOC number and status code   from status IDOC and create a  two field Z IDOC structure and import in  PI. once IDOC gets posted , the Ack interface (OB) will get triggerd and response with status text will be sent to WS.
    I think it will be simpler then having a BPM and making it wait for response.And if you test the same , there will not be much delay involved in the process.

  • ESB - No Response from FTP Adapter Service

    Hello I'm developing a service on the Oracle ESB 10.1.3.4.0.
    My goal is to receive an incoming SOAP/XML message and then put the XML file on an FTP Server and return a response(Success/Error) to the invoker.
    I have created a RoutingService and a FTP Adapter Service. The Routing service receives the incoming message and then performs a synchronous executions on the FTP adapter service. The FTP adapter service successfully uploads the file to the FTP server.
    The problem I'm having is that the FTP Adapter Service does not return a response and the Routing Service does not allow me to create an XSL mapping for the response.
    Does anyone have any recommendations on how to return a response to the invoker of the Routing Service?
    Thanks!

    The WSDL that the wizard of the FTP Adapter created only had an "input" tag under the "operation". I manually modified the WSDL and added an "output" tag that references a new XSD that I imported.
    The problem that I was originally having was that the FTP adapter returned an empty message with no tags. With my change to the WSDL, the FTP adapter is still NOT returning any data, however it is now returning the the tags (empty) that I referenced in the WSDL.
    I originally had 1 routing service and 1 FTP adapter service. In order to make use of the empty tags being returned by the FTP adapter, I created a 2nd routing service and placed in between the first 2 services. Next I used an XSL mapping to hard code the value "success" in the response XML. If the FTP adapter fails, then a fault will be returned to the user.
    I hope this answers your question.

  • Edge Animate - Sending To Then Getting Response From Server (XML)

    Hi,
    I’m very new to Edge animate, and I’m trying to send some things to a server, which would send a response back. XML.
    I’m trying:
    jQuery.ajax({
        type: "POST",
        datatype: "xml",
        url: "http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk-xml",
        data: {botid: 'cb1f78b4fe36bf6d', input: 'test'},
        success: function(xml) {
             //jQuery(xml).find('result').each(function(){
                      //var tts = jQuery(this).find('that').text();
                      sym.$("xmlOutput").html('Pandorabot success.');
        error: function() {
            sym.$("xmlOutput").html('Pandorabot error.');
    But can’t seem to get it working.
    The logs indicate that it does send, but I don’t receive an answer.
    What am I doing wrong, and where should I start?
    Thanks for any help, or links.

    Did you put  some trace or alert in your success function and check if its hit?

  • Separate Response from an Adaptive Web Service Model

    Hi,
    A WebService returns me a list of Outbound and Inbound flights (all in one list). Now i want to separate the Inbound and the Outbound flights into two tables. One parameter is different, so its easy to define the separation.
    But how can i do that?
    Ideas
    a) Copy the whole response and delete the inbounds on one table and the outbounds on the other?
    b) splitting the Response (what ever that means)
    c) define filter on both table?
    Regards,
    Chris M

    Thank you
    Here the code to the description from Anagha,
    public void split( )  {
       int n = wdContext.nodeResponseIn().size();
       for (int i = n - 1; i >= 0; i--) {
            // Sorting the entries with the parameter "O" for Outbound
            if(wdContext.nodeAvt_In().getResponseInElementAt(i).getDirection().equals("O")) {
                         //Creating a new Element in the "Out" Node
             wdContext.createAndAddResponseOutElement();
                        //Move the "current" Node to the new created Node
             wdContext.nodeResponseOut().moveNext();
                        //Copy Elements from the "In" Node to the "Out" Node
             wdContext.currentResponseOutElement().setArr(
                                     wdContext.nodeRsponseIn().getResponseInElementAt(i).getArr());
            //Remove the "Out" Element from the "In" Node
            wdContext.nodeAvt_In().removeElementAt(i);

    As it can be seen from the logs, the message type is being set to 1. However it should be 2 in case of response.
    The following header properties are being used in the AQ stub:-
    msgID = G20090303035936810.34565d:11fc706dc89:-7fbc@706519011
    from = COMSTOR
    to = BTGS
    doctypeName = Pip3A4PurchaseOrderConfirmation
    doctypeRevision = V02.03.00
    payload = Pip3A4_Response_POA10170020309.xml
    attachment =
    Can you please let us know the reason for the wrong message type being set?
    Regards,
    Ravi Shah

    Dheeraj,
    We have included msgType=2 as a part of the AQ header.
    The logs show that message type is getting set to 2 but still COMSTOR is Buyer and BTGS is Seller.
    Because of this, agreement look-up is getting failed.

  • File To Proxy : Handle the response from ECC to send mail without BPM

    Hi,
    Scenario: FILE To Proxy
    Requirement: We are receiving xml acknowledgement file from bank with IDoc number and status in SAP PI and the file is used to send the status number, message and and IDoc number to ECC. After request is received in ECC BAPI is executed to update the original status of outbound IDOC.
    There would be multiple records in file and PI will send all IDoc acknowledgement to ECC to update the IDoc status.
    Issue: Since PI send all records to ecc, if any single IDoc status update is failing in ECC how would it can be communicated to support.
    ECC can send success or error response in proxy but how we can use the same in PI to send mail to support. Or is there any better error handling we can go for in such scenario.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

    Hi everyone
    thanks for response.
    Interface 1: IDoc (ECC) to File (Bank) --> Done
    Interface 2: Acknowledgment File (Bank) to BAPI (ECC) where BAPI will update the status of IDoc sent in first interface.
    For Interface 2 : PI will receive file from Bank with multiple records i.e multiple IDoc numbers and their status. PI will invoke proxy to send the IDoc number and status number (eg 16) for all the records together. Now if BAPI fails to update status of any single IDoc in that file how support team will know that the particular record is failed. To handle this error ECC is saying they can send Error and Success back to PI. But the problem is how we can use that response in PI in the same interface to send emails to support team. Bank does not want any response back in this case. This is just to ensure proper error handling since this is bank related interface.
    Splitting the interface in two interfaces will definitely help. But is there some way which can be used in same interface and based on error response from ECC mail is triggered.
    If any one has better suggestion for such kind of error handling, please post the same.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

  • How to save the Response message from SOAP adapter

    Dear Friends,
       I am sending the FIle details webserver.here sender is FILE adapter and receiver is SOAP adapter.
    FIle to SOAP working successfully, but I need response from SOAP.
    Sender QoS is BE, so the response is coming to XI, but in SXMB_MONI it is showing DO YOU WANT TO SAVE IT or DISPLAY IT.
    my requirement is response message is directly updated in XI system.
    For response Can I use BPM or which method I need to use.
    Please suggest me  how to do the resonse message(SOAP to FILE).
    Regards,
    Shalini Shah.

    Sender QoS is BE,
    File adapter does not support sync communication. Therefore the scenario won't work as it is.
    What are you planning to do with the response? If you want to process is further, then:
    1. One way without BPM would be use of adapter module.
    File - RFC - File without a BPM - Possible from SP 19.
    2. Or you may use BPM with Async Sync bridge

  • Empty box received, no response from seller, claim opened, paypal says to send item back

    Item is a 30" lawnmower blade and by the looks of the box it slipped out of the bottom during shipment.  I called seller initially and he said they would send another and file a claim with the carrier.  I waited about 2 weeks and still no item so I left voicemails over the course of a couple days, also emailed the seller with no response. I opened claim with paypal and they said they ruled in my favor, but need tracking info showing that I sent the item back to the seller.  Do I really need to pay more $ and spend more time shipping an empty box?  This does not make sense and it has been a month (6/19) since I paid for the item. I have tried calling paypal and there is a series of 5-6 advertisements, then it says to call a different number which goes to a completely different company for phone/internet service. I emailed paypal about this and got a generic response with links to some FAQs.   What would you do?

    That's all terrible. Just for clarification, this is a peer to peer forum. I am guessing that you posted this here to have others be aware of this. You most likely won't get a response from a VZW rep here and if you do it may not be fruitful.
    I can also tell you that a store rep doesn't have the ability to change the shipping address unless it is done at the time of the order. It is correct that to change the shipping address the tracking number has to be generated and then VZW has to fill out a form with FedEx and that could delay the package by up to 48 hours. I don't know how you received 2 packages BUT when VZW sends a device they make a note of the ESN on your account with the package's tracking number. If, in deed, their records indicate that 2 devices were sent they can easily rectify this situation. How? It is simple.
    1.) Take note of the ESN on your current device. Take the battery out and it is on the sticker. It will most likely begin with 99.
    2.) Call them. I know that you don't want to do this but insist that they look through the notes and confirm the ESNs that were sent to determine which one is on your account and which one is the missing one.
    3.) Have them input the ESN in to the system and see if it is activated on another account. If it is, they won't tell you who has it but they should easily see that it isn't you.
    This can also be done in a corporate VZW store. Not that you'd want to but if the store that Brian works at is one, I would go back there.
    Hope this information helps you start to get to the bottom of this. It shouldn't be on us to do any legwork but we have to be proactive when it comes to our money.

  • How to call a report with a bind variable from a multi-record block

    Hi,
    I have created a report using the BI Publisher functionality. I did all the integration, created the SQL Query and uploaded the template. Up till here everythings fine!
    My SQL Query has 2 bind variables.
    I will call my report from a multi record block, at the end of each record an icon is shown which the user can click to open the report.
    I created a column link for this item (PRINT_REPORT=Inschrijvingsformulier) but I do not manage to pass the parameters to my report. The parameters I want to pass are 2 columns in this Multi Record block.
    I created 2 hidden fields on the page P9_PARAMETER1, P9_PARAMETER2 with the same names as my bind variables and fill this in with the values #PARAMETER1#, #PARAMETER2# from the multi record block.
    It seems it does not work as my report stays empty. (also XML file stays empty).
    Am I trying the wrong way?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Kris

    hi khadeer,
         create one report program and write the required code,and call this function module 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME' and give your smartform name  and also when u activate ur smart form u will get one function module call that function module also and specify any tables used...
    i think this solves ur problem...
    any queries revert back..
    pls reward points if helpful,

  • I can record midi data from my Mason & Hamlin Piano Disc Pro Record through my MOTU Traveller into Logic but Logic won't send midi data out to the MOTU Traveller to the Piano Disc player

    Hello All,
    I can record midi data from my Mason & Hamlin Piano Disc Pro Record through my MOTU Traveller into Logic Pro 9.1.8  but Logic won't send the midi data back out to the MOTU Traveller and thus to the Piano Disc player. I got it to playback one time but have no idea how and when it did it was looping or something because the velocity was way high coming back in and the damper pedal was slamming down. When I play a key on the piano the midi "in" light on the Traveller lights up. When I play the track back on my computer no lights blink on the Traveller and when I did the apple midi studio test in utilities when I play a key I get the confirmation signal noise and the Traveller blinks when I click on the down arrow of the Traveller in the Apple midi studio test the midi out light on the traveller never lights and the signal light on the piano does not blink either. No outbound signal at all...
    I have messed with every possible parameter I can find and and have had help from one of Piano Disc's premier editors but no luck. The piano was prepped for me on Logic so it would work with my studio.  I'm positive it's my fault and I'm overlooking something really simple and stupid but what!??!
    Somebody please help.  Thank you all in advance for ANY ideas you might have!

    Blues Piano,
    I'm not sure if this will be a help or not.  I'm so Logic Pro wet behind the ears that I make newbies look experienced.  However, I'm not expecting many on the Apple support forums have a PianoDisc system, much less one with the new optical record strip.  While I don't have any record strip on my PianoDisc, I do have a PianoDisc iQ that's only a month old.  I've been playing converted paper scrolls from hundred year old player pianos through it via the MIDI in port of the PianoDisc CPU.  I've found I have to open the MIDI file in Logic Pro (10.0.4) then go to <Track><New External MIDI Track> then copy the existing track to that new external track.  Only then can I see in the Track inspector (defaults left side of screen with the Icon for the instrument) the "Port" parameter.  Then I can select my external MIDI device in that Port selector.
    I've also encountered problems with the PianoDisc not using enough force on the notes or using too much force.  To get around this problem, until I understand Logic better, I've been setting minimum and maximum volicities.  To do that I right click on the track and select "Select All."  Then I right click again and select "MIDI" then "MIDI Transform"  then "Velocity Limiter."  In the resulting pop up window in the center is a drop down and you can play with the velocity from "MIN" to "MAX" along with "ADD" "SUBTRACT" etc.
    I hope this helps.  I envy you your Mason & Hamlin.  If you need more help on this just email me at pfleischmann at mac dot com.

  • Java Client throws exception – while sending NTLMV2 Response from WIN7 to W

    We have written a Java client which connects to a webservices application using NTLM authentication against Windows 2008 R2 Server (using IIS7). This program works fine when running from Windows XP, Linux but failing when running from Windows 7.
    Error encountered is: java.io.IOException: Authentication failure.
    Here is what we have written to connect to HTTPS with credential using SSLContext as mentioned below.
    SSLContext sc = SSLContext.getInstance( "SSL" );
    sc.init( null, trustAllCerts, new java.security.SecureRandom() );
    HttpsURLConnection.setDefaultSSLSocketFactory( sc.getSocketFactory() );
    ( ( HttpsURLConnection )( m_oHttpURLConnection ) ).setHostnameVerifier( this );
    URL url = new URL("https://testsite...");
    HttpsURLConnection m_oHttpURLConnection = (HttpsURLConnection) url.openConnection();
    Following properties are set to HttpsURLConnection:
    RequestMethod : GET
    InstanceFollowRedirects : true
    AllowUserInteraction : true
    UseCaches : false
    DoOutput : true
    DoInput : true
    After setting all the above parameters the following code is used to set credentials data and connect to site
    Authenticator.setDefault(new MyAuthenticator ());
    m_oHttpURLConnection.connect();
    After connection is successful request XML is sent to server and expecting a response from the server. So when the below line is called exception is thrown.
    m_oHttpURLConnection.getResponseCode();
    Exception :
    java.io.IOException: Authentication failure

    After changing LAN Manager Authentication level setting of Windows 7 from “Send NTLMv2 response only” to “Send LM & NTLM – use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”, application is working fine.
    Local Security Settings àSecurity SettingsàLocal Policies à Security Optionsà Network security: LAN Manager Authentication level
    By default in Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2: Send NTLMv2 response only , Lowering the security level at the client end is bit risk and typically is not recommended.

    this subforum is about Kerberos and GSS and not about NTLM. Why are you hasseling with NTLM? Take Kerberos.
