How to make EM send WARNING-notifications via email of all monitored targets as well as CRITICAL-notifications?

I've already created some administartors which recieve critical notification by email.
Now I need to send warning notifications to their email.
I found one solutions. Change      Severity States for each metric in Preferences by adding Warning status to notificate. But it takes too much time...

    I am customizing the requisition approval workflow in p2p cycle.
    We have to send out notifications and emails to all people in the approval heirarchy , who have already approved the req if some body higher up in the chain rejects it.
    right now oracle only send email and notification to the requester.
    ex -- If A requested it and next approver is B , who approves it , next is C, who approves it
    but next person D rejects it
    I want to send notification to C , B and A
    not just A
    please let me know how to do this.

    Are you using the notification mailer within Oracle Applications (ebs)? If so, I would post to the Oracle Applications forum, someone there might be able to give you a better idea.

    You should be also aware of this: SLO Warning in wrong time (especially when working
    with longer time spans):
        TargetWarningTime = (StartDate(businessTime) + Target(businessTime)) - Warning(time)
    This can be a bit confusing and in certain cases non-functional. E. g.
    Target: 8H, Warning: 4H, WD: 08:00 - 16:00

    I am working on an Approval process where I need to send the Approval notification to an emailID and because the approver is a user of Oracle Apps, show the notification in his Worklist. This gives them flexibility to respond by email OR thru Worklist.
    If I assign the Performer of a notification to emailID of the FND USER, its only sending it as email, it doesnt show up in the Worklist. If I re-assign the Performer to the username of the FND USER, its showing up in Worklist and not as an email ( even though I have defined emailID for that FNF USER).

    Hi,
    Check that the users preferences (Preferences responsibility, General tab) are set to something that includes email, e.g. HTML Mail with Attachments.
    Make sure you setup your FND USER as Employee and email address Employee and FND User, then run Synchronize WF Local Tables.
    You should see notification both email and notification.

    I've succesfully implemented the requester approved SC notificaction, and I can see from 'BBPBWSP_SIMPLE' but now I'm trying to send it by mail.
    Users have email address
    I have tried with RSWUWFML2 but this report doesn't allow me to send this notification, the report is working for the the approving step.
    Have anybody know what is missing in my configuration?

    You need to check the  settings mentioned in the link above  before you scehdule the report for snding the approval mails to the external email ID's of the approvers.

  • Email notifications per email account, and bundled together? (former Android user)

    Hello there,
    I made the switch from an old HTC Android to the new iPhone 5S two weeks ago and the one thing I cannot configure to my liking is email notifications in the notification center. I have multiple email accounts that recieve a moderate volume of emails on most of my accounts per day and need a quick way to view the activity of a given email account, not the app. I currently use two email apps as follows:
    Mail - iOS7 native app
    x2 Exchange email accounts
    x1 Windows Live email account
    x1 Yahoo email account
    Gmail App
    x2 Gmail email accounts
    I have configured the notification center to notify me for all but the yahoo email account. The problem I have is that the notificaiton center only shows X number of recent emails (selected in settings) the APP has recieved, and does not say which email account it is, or how many extra emails on top of X that I selected were recieved. My phone is on silent 24/7 and the only vibrates for phone calls and text messages. I will periodically check the notification center throughout the day and use it as a summary of what has happend since the last time I checked.
    On my Android, each email account would have two lines in the Android Notification center. The first unread email on an account would use those two lines to tell you the subject line, time recieved, email account, the total number of unread emails, and the app. Once that account gets two or more emails, it simplifies to say the number of new messages, time the last one was recieved, the email account, the total number of unread emails, and the app. What is really nice about that setup is that each email account had two lines in the notification center, no matter what, and at a quick glance I can see which email accounts are really acitve and I probably need to check on. If one email account was really active and I wanted to check on it, I could select the single notification for that account and it would take me to the (already updated) inbox where I can quickly browse to see what all the emails are about. At this point it may sound like it is just different and I just need to get used to the iOS7 interface, but let me share an example where iOS7 lets me down, and Android has done well for the last couple years:
    During M-F from 8-6, my two exhange accounts and one of my gmail accounts are the only accounts I care about. One exchange account receieves 5-20 emails per hour, and the other exchange account might recieve 1-5 per day. Only a small percentage of those 5-20 emails need a priority response, but the account that gets 1-5 per day are emails that I need to know about and respond to right away. What happens in the iOS7 notification center is that I may not even see a notification for the email account that gets 1-5 emails per day, and if I do, it only tells me the sender, subject line, and some of the body if I allow more than 2 lines - it does not specify which email account it was sent to. I can choose 1, 5, or 10 emails to be displayed for the Mail App in settings, but the 5-20 emails I recieve can bump the 1 important email from the one account out of the notification center.
    Is there a way to configure notifications per email account, and bundle all the recieved emails (by saying "# New Messages" or similar) on a given account into 2-4 lines? My ultimate goal here is to not lose a notification on one account due to the high volume of another, but to also keep them concise enough that I don't need to scroll through a massive list of notifications like one giant inbox.
    I would appreciate any tips or advice to configure the notification center better for my use case. Thank you!

    Yeah.. I have problems with all apps that have notifications.
    Forget the Google Gmail example.. I'll use imo, Groupme, and Facebook as examples.
    I see the notifications. But when I open the app, it won't show the newest received messages. It will take a few second before the app would refresh.
    With my Android experience, all apps would update with the new information in the background. It appears that even though the apps are running in the background in iOS, the actual app appears to be paused until you reopen the app. That's when the app will refresh with the new information.

  • Facebook notifications in email on handheld PROBLEM

    Hi all,
    Been searching here and cannot find the answer...I apologize if I missed something, but been going back and forth through the forums and online...
    Updated the Facebook app to latest version (1.8....) when I updated other apps/OS on my phone (8900, OS 4.6.1).  Prior to that I think I had downgraded to 1.5 (or 1.6) to be able to upload photos consistently (didn't work with any "newer" version, so went backwards).  With that version running...lacked features, but ran fine and photos were uploaded every time (FB started compressing them again, which is why I opted to try the update to 1.8)...my notifications were working properly
    gmail account on BB (only email associated with handheld) has FB emails set to skip inbox, mark as read etc. when you view on the web.  Notifications came through FB app on BB (red star and alert) just fine, AND were "hidden" in BB messages folder. You could navigate to them, but didn't clutter the inbox.
    I am VERY confused about the settings on this 1.8 version.  Right now I get notifications on the app (red star, can read through app), BUT they also stay in my gmail inbox on the handheld which obviously takes up a LOT of space and don't want to have to constantly delete them.  I do NOT get notified of a new email or anything, but want these hidden as they were in previous version.
    I WANT the emails to go to my gmail account they way they had been, I just do not want them to show up on my BB in the gmail inbox.  Tried settings in options menu and doing via FB on the web, but can't find the right combination.  Only see people with opposite problem of NOT getting notifications through FB app on BB, and I don't want to mess anything up.
    Can someone please help and explain what may fix this to go back to hiding the EMAIL version of the notification JUST on the handheld without disabling notifications through the app or with my web email??

    So, just because you didn't do that before means it's not a solution now?
    Facebook app no longer uses the emails for notifications as it used to.  It uses a push api that sends the notifications from facebook directly to the app from Facebook without the use of email. 
    If you still want the emails from Facebook but don't want them coming to the BB then you need to set a filter on your email setup on the BB so that Facebook emails that arrive in your mailbox do not get forwarded to the handheld.  It's a simple setup if you just took a moment to try it.

    i am trying to send email notification via workflow, but i am not able to do so. anyone can help to troubleshoot this?
    below are the steps i have carried out for email configuration:
    1. i have added the mail server on mds.ini, MDS is restarted after every changes.
    2. requester and approval has correct email setup at console.
    3. a notification is added in workflow.
    4. telnet ping to mail server with port 25 is fine.
    when i check the log, i have the error :
    "Could not send e-mail [10013 : email : Notify] [Mail server:xxxxxxxxx] [From address:xxxxxxxx] [To address:xxxxxxx
    i know the guidelines and steps for configurations, but apparently it does not workout, so any troubleshoot guideline will be more appreciated.

    Hi Shanti,
    I am sure you must have checked all this but then again would you please check following things and let us know ?
    1) Please check the SMTP Server Name in your Outlook Express if you are using Outlook
    2) Please log into MDS file and go under that particular Repositoy and check what details you have given for Mail Server
    3) Please give SMTP address in mail server line
    4) Log into Console and check if you have alligned Users and Roles to each other correctly or not.
    5) log into Data Manager and open the workflow and check the properties of Mail notification stencil and check if correct proertise are set ot not.
    Once you have made the changes at server level please restart the server again and then please let us know if this problem exist or not, may be we can more troubleshoot it further.

    I need to know how (in OIM 9.1) to send a notification/email to the new reassigned user when someone responsible for an approval step decides do reassign to that user.
    For instance, if a user's manager needs to redirect a request approval to his superior if there are financial implications associated with a specific request.

    I have reassignments working in OIM 9.1.
    I've got a separate approval process for each resource object (I'm not using Standard Approval).
    I don't have anything configured in the Notification tabs of the approval tasks, all I have is an assignment to a specified group which fires a default email that says something like "You need to approve request id X".
    Now the configuration:
    In System Configuration Table of the Design Console there is a configuration named "Reassign Email Notification". The default "Value" is Notify Task Reassign". This comes OOTB. The problem is it didn't work.
    What I did was create another Email Definition of type General, sent by User XELSYSADM, and in System Configuration of "Reassign Email Notification" I put the name of this Email Definition in the "Value" field.. and voila.. it worked.
    So my suggestion is to test the reassignments with a different email definition, preferably one you create.
    All this will work assuming you have the Email Server IT Resource configured and that XELSYSADM has a valid email account... so basically if your solution is able to send emails.. all you'll need to do is create a different email definition for the reassign task.

    I am using Status Filter Rules to send warning and error messages via email from several CM07 sites. The process hasn't been consistent.
    Messages created by the SMS_Distribution_Manager do not send the entire description field where other components do. I have not been able to figure it out.
    I have tried using vbscript and powershell, both give the same results.

  • Default acrobat xi pro send mail to default email application and remember my choice 2008R2 remote desktop server

    I have 2008R2 Remote Desktop Servers with Adobe Acrobat XI pro.  When a new user tries to send a pdf via email, it pops up a message "How would you like to send this email"  they have to pick "Default email application (Microsoft Outlook) and Remember my choice.  Then the next time they try to send an email, the get a warning "This email will be sent using "Default email application (Microsoft Outlook)".  Click on 'Change Preferences' to change your default account settings.  They have to Click Do not Show this message again, and then continue.  (actually I have a couple of users that have to go through this process Every time they sign on to the remote desktop server),
    I downloaded the group policy adm pack and I can not find any settings to default this for a user.
    Is there any group policy settings or a registry entry I can make on the remote desktop server to default these settings?
