Serial number when you have a subscription?

I have a subscription for Adobe Acrobat (Acrobat XI Pro Subscription Edition) that is up for renewal in Nov 2015.
But when I try to open Acrobat on my PC today I get message saying my trial has ended.
When I click option 'Licence this software' under message I get to screen that says 'Sign-in required'.
I click 'sign in' and it asks for a serial number.
As far as I know I've never had a serial number (as this is a subscription product).
Anyone had this problem or have any ideas?

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. As you have subscription for Acrobat XI you qualify for the latest version Acrobat i.e Acrobat DC.
You can download Acrobat DC using this link : https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat and serialize it using your Adobe ID.

Photoshop asking for serial number when I have an active Creative Cloud subscription

I purchased a year subscription to Creative Cloud and when I launch Photoshop and click on license software, it shows my correct adobe id but then asks me for a serial number. How can I fix this? I am on Mac OS X v. 10.8.2

If you had a beta version of Photoshop CS6 you would want to uninstall it and reinstall through the Adobe Application Manager. So long as it was installed through the Adobe Application Manager you should only have to click the "License this software" button and sign in with your Adobe ID.
There is an issue with Photoshop CS6 specifically happening right now in which the product reverts to trial after the 3rd or 4th launch, our engineering team will be addressing this soon with another product update. I'm not sure if that is related or not.

Encore CS6 is asking for a Serial Number when I have Creative Cloud

I am running Windows 7 on a new Dell Vostro, have a subscription to Creative Cloud, have never installed a trial version of the software, and recently installed Premier Pro. The first time I try to run Encore, I get the two screens shown in that thread and repeated here:
"Adobe Encore CS6 cannot run in trial mode. Please relaunch the application and provide a valid serial number."
"Adobe Premier Pro. Provide a serial number."
I had previously got the problem identified here:

Following the recommendations fixed the problem, but still Encore has the same issue.

Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro all work fine.

Update, 2012-11-06. I spent 30 minutes on a chat session with Adobe support. The support person told me emphatically that Encore is not part of Creative Cloud and can be obtained only by buying Premiere Pro and not from the Creative Cloud subscription. To prove the point, the support person pointed me to this page:

Now on that page, Adobe has done something clever and stupid. If you view the page with XP (for example), it does not show Premier Pro because Premiere Pro works only on a 64 bit OS. If you view the same page under Windows 7 it does show Premiere Pro. I think it would be better if Adobe showed the application (possibly greyed out) with a note that it cannot be installed on the PC that is viewing the page. Well, I was having the chat on my laptop (running XP) and I guess the support person was also on XP so the case was proved!
But I sent him a link to this page:

However, the support person told me I needed to contact sales. I called them and asked the support guy to wait on the chat session until I had an answer. The lady in sales said that Encore is definitely included in Creative Cloud. But as I was about to relay that information to the support person, he ended the chat session!
The pleasant lady in sales said she would transfer me to phone technical support. I was on hold for 60 minutes and had to quit to go and do a task.
Perhaps this will be resolved and I shall update this thread ...

I got help with this problem.
You only need to sign out from the creative cloud. Go to preference, sign out. Open Premiere Pro CC, help sign out.
Then re-open premiere pro cc and sign back in, and you should now be able to open encore as well!
Worked for me!

As far as I know there is no option to acquire a new serial number - you have to use the one assigned when purchased. If you already had this software installed and registered it with Adobe you should be able to find your serial number via your Adobe account online.
The serial number is normally on the case that holds the disc. It seems unlikely that you would inadvertantly throw that out, so you might want to check there.

Consider adopting similar practices when selling used Macs. You can include a sceenshot of About This Mac showing its serial number, as well one of the case exterior, to thwart fraudulent attempts to swap logic boards.

Please then use your web Browser address http://www.adobe.com/ and sign in with your Adobe User ID and Password to your account the has your Subscription and use https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html capture the page which shows you have a subscription like I showed you I have.
Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application use the APP tab and capture that scree to show Photoshop is installed and up to date like I did. Capture that screen. Show us you have installed Photoshop and its up to date.
Open Photoshop and use menu Help it should show tha its activated because there will be a menu item Sign Out. If it is Sign In, Sign in using the account that has the subscription the one you used above to Activate Photoshop.

Trial has expired and the Application Manager is now requesting a Serial Number. I have paid my subscription but don't seem to have a serial number.

I signed up to Creative Cloud Student, 6 weeks ago and started paying my monthly subscription immediately. When I downloaded the software (photoshop, indesign and illustrator), they appeared as trials.

CC mostly asks for serial number if:
1. There is no CC registered to the ID with which you had signed.
2. There are entries of Adobe in Host files of the computer.
3. The activation count has increased.

You just need to activate the Cc with the Adobe ID with which it has been registered.

You might be able to find the serial number for the older version of Lightroom thru your Adobe account online if you registered it when you installed it.
