使用dbca 新建SERVER “TAF"，finish以后查询状态：

在客户端使用sqlplus登陆，删除客户端tnsnames.ora

根据sid 查询连接 spid，服务器杀死连接 kill -9 "spid"
本地客户端查询：

为什么没有转换？

实例1 shutdown abort 后sqlplus 就不能做任何查询了就一直卡在那，也没有出现连接失败等字样。
查询状态，服务已经切换到实例2节点上。

Hi,
I configured a clustermanaged services with failover methos='basic' and failover type=select,
but when I check the view gv$session, there are many session connected to this service with failover method and failover type NONE.
below is the output when I query dba_services

Hi,
The service is running, and if I connect using sqlplus, it will get the failover mode and type.
But if it connect thru our VB application, the failover type and mode is NONE.
That's why I suspect there is some client connectivity constraint.

SAP BPC 5.1 SP2 Http 500 internal server error - page can not be displayed

When our Sysadmin service account are restricted to the app server and the database server ( as they should be in a secured environment) no client
could reach the web site to even use the Osoft directory . We get a Http 500 internal server error - page can not be displayed . This is for a new multiserver install. Is there a problem on the website security or .net configuration?

Yes the install was done by the SAP install consultant but now we are getting an error when we restrict the Sysadmin ID. Server diagnostics and other tests on Appshell passed as well.

Could you save the output that the script startsap returns to a file and upload it somewhere. Also the startsap logs, the location of which you could see when you run the startsap script. You could use http://www.rapidshare.com/ to upload the files.

Server side mailrules are not working!

Hi,
on my Lion Server the server side mailrules are not working.
I created about 4 different rules via the webmail interface but none of them are applied to incoming mails :-/
They were working back in the days I used 10.5 and 10.6 Server (this was not upgraded!).
Are server side mailrules are working for you?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Nevermind... got it sorted out..
My rules are based on the senders email address and switching from "is equal" to "contains" (sorry only got the translation from German) did the trick!

OVM-2020 Server pool master can not be set to maintenance mode

Hi Guys.
I have 2 server in ha mode
server 1 (10.99.99.161) with oracle Manager installed (server pool master, utility server, vm server)
Server 2 (10.99.99.161) without Oracle Manager installed (utility server, vmserver)
HA enable with server1 and server 2
10.99.99.165 is the virtual server pool master
1 San connected with server 1 and server 2.
Without problem I can connect on https://10.99.99.165:4443/OVS without problem.
All seems work, but :
1 - I I try to set in maintenance mode the server 1, the VM Manager say me:
OVM-2020 Server pool master (10.99.99.162) can not be set to maintenance mode, please use server pool master failover policy to change its role, then try again.
What I shuld do ?
2 - If I turn off the server 1 the server pool master is attribuite to server 2, but I'm unable to connect on https://10.99.99.165:4443/OVS webpage. It is correct, it is a bug, or I'm doing something wrong ? Must I upgrate something ?

You need to ensure the VM that's running the Oracle VM Manager software is still running. Live Migrate it first (preferred option) and flag it HA-enabled so that it is automatically restarted in the case of a server failure.

Server side include does not appear in browser

I've imbedded a server side include within an html file. I
can see it in the Dreamweaver design previewer, but it does not
appear when displaying the html in a browser. I've tried saving the
included file as "html", "htm", "shtml", and "shtm". Nothing seems
to work.
Any guesses?

On apache, you have to use either shtm(l), or PHP. And in the
event that
you use the latter, the include directives must be PHP

iam using eclipse IDE, JBoss server, SWING GUI and Oracle DB
( looks like : SWINGGUI (Client) <--> EJB's (serverside) <---oracle )
my problem is , when i make change in server side bean file, that changes are not reflecting in GUI programs.
(for ex: iam adding settr and getter for a field and using that in GUI program. but its not identifying that setter or getter).
please tell me what should i do for every change done to server side program, that should reflect / available to GUI?

Java server page compiler can not find a class defined in a java bean file

I have a jsp file using java bean. The java bean class file is uploaded into the server and also the directory to this java bean .class file is included in the Unix environment CLASSPATH. This .jsp file is registered and should be compiled and excecuted automatically.
WHen I try to invoke this .jsp file, the jsp compiler error, saying the class defined by java bean can not be found. I already include this path in teh CLASSPATH, I thought the jsp compiler will go to the right place according to CLASSPATH to find the referenced class.
Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong or what should I do in order to allow jsp compiler to find the class refrenced by .jsp file and defined by java bean file?

i am also facing the same problem of not finding bean class files for both jsp and servlet though it is placed in same package. the problem of not finding bean class file for jsp is experienced in Tomcat server only whereas in Blazix, there is no such error and the file is compiled and runs successfully.
i have checked Tomcat properly. there is no error in its configuration also servlets without the use of bean files run successfully. so please can anybody guide me about what is the problem and how to solve it. plz its urgent .

    When i am trying to configure Mirroring .i am getting the below error.
The server network address "TCP://RDEEPA:5022" can not be reached or does not exist. Check the network address name and reissue the command. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 1418)
. TCP/IP and Name pipe connection is enabled in both principle and mirror server configuration.

I have the same problem. However beginning over and over again and using other ports did not solve this unfortunately.

Found the problem eventually. The mirroring ran as the NT_AUTORITY user instead of DOMAIN\administrator.

How come i can not use another carrier

i paid 744 for my unlocked phone but i can not use it on my cell provider. someone please help me.(apple)
the last time i bought a cell phone(motorola) with no contract i could put any carrier at any time but with apple iphone it is not letting me i do not get it why did i pay 745 if i can not put it on any carrier.
