Service nr disappers from informatory line

Hi All,
hope somebody can answer my question.
Is the below normal, or should be rectified:
1, open an outline agreement
2, add a service line (D) with text and material group only
3, highlight line, push enter
4, then in service specifications add service nr, and price
5, highlight line and from top menu EDIT>DETAILS>LINE TYPE>choose INFORMATORY LINE
6, and after accepting this the service nr disappears from line, only the text remains.
Is this disappearence of service nr OK, or is something that should be corrected?
Checked some of our systems and seems that lower versions keep the service nr, highers (from 4.6) dont. (not sure if this difference has something to do with previous own enhancements)
Could you share your knowledge on this?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
Most probably, it is a problem with SAPServiceSID users authorizations with regards to starting/stopping services.
You could add the SAPServiceSID user to Administrators group and retry. Or you could disable UAC on Win 2008 and retry.

  • How to programatically start j2ee application/service  from command line

    Hi all
    We have developed a j2ee application and deployed  the .ear file on SAP J2EE (Netweaver'04) engine.
    We are able to successfully start/stop the application from Visual administrator -> Deploy -> Service -> Start application (or) Stop application.
    We need to start and stop the same application programatically or via command line instead of doing it from VA.  Any thoughts from anyone on how to do it ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Nagesh

    The cammands are there in the respective folders, these are just the batch files / .sh scripts that can be run from command line.
    /usr/sap/<instance>JC<client>/j2ee/admin
    go.sh and go.bat can run either on command line
    j2ee/configtool
    configtool.sh / configtool.bat
    similarly for other smaller utilities. For the main server, the related commands are in exe directory of sapmnt
    /sapmnt/<instance>/exe

    Hi,
    Not a problem, please post the KJS error logs for me to hunt the
    exact reason for the error.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Transfer Upgrade from one line to another on the same plan.

    Is it possible to transfer an upgrade from one line to a second line, and then have the phone that was used on the second line, be switched to the first line? If so, how would I go about doing this online?

    Yes.  The account owner should be able to log in to MyVerizon and click on "Transfer this upgrade" when they view all of the upgrades available for their account.  If they don't have that option, another way is to just order the phone normally, then activate the new phone on the line it was ordered for briefly to accept the Terms & Conditions of the new contract.  Then you can activate the old phone from that line again, which will free the new phone up to be activated on the second line.
    If you're getting a 4G phone, you'll want to call in to Customer Service before you start activating though, because the 4G SIM cards can complicate the activation process.

  • I can not uninstall Office 2013 from command line

    Hi, I have been stuck for a while trying to uninstall Office 2013 via command line. Installation file was downloaded from Volume Licensing Service Center, Uninstall.xml file for silent uninstallation looks like this:
    <Configuration Product=”ProPlus”>
    <Display Level=”basic” CompletionNotice=”yes” SuppressModal=”yes” AcceptEula=”yes” />
    </Configuration>
    From command line the following will not work:
    setup /uninstall ProPlus /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml
    Error: Setup can not find or validate an installation file. Please try reinstalling Office . . .
    setup /uninstall ProPlus gives me GUI to continue process - it seems /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml part does not work as it should be
    This is very important to me since I used above command line in SCCM 2012 R2 to allow user to uninstall Office 2013 by itself via Software Center. When this failed I tried locally but the error was the same. This should have been trivial task - silent uninstallation
    using .xml file. It is not a rocket science. I am very angry because losing time for something like this is unacceptable for system engineers working with SCCM 2012 R2.

    Hi,
    This error might occurs due to lots of reasons. Where is the installation file stored? If it's stored on a network share, please copy it to your local disk, and then manually run the command again. This way, we'll see if the installation file is the
    problem.
    If issue persists in this case, then this generally means that something wrong with the installation file. Please try to redownload it and then try again.
    Please also make sure that you're executing the command with elevated privileges (run as administrator).

    1) Shutdown the Domino server (Lotus Domino Server (LotusDominoData) service)
    2) Change the Lotus Domino Server (LotusDominoData) service Startup Type from 'Automatic' to 'Manual'
    3) Reboot the server
    4) Defragment the drive (D:\ or F:\)
    5) Change the Lotus Domino Server (LotusDominoData) service Startup type from 'Manual' to 'Automatic'
    6) Reboot the server
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Binu - are you wanting to automate this process with TES?
    There is a windows cmd command "net stop" and "net start" you can use to stop and start a service.
    You will need to work with your windows admin or look online for a command line way to change the service to manual and to start the defrag.
    There is a shutdown command that can be run from cmd. It has a switch to force the reboot.
    You might also check out scripting with WMI.
    Hope this helps,
    Michelle

    Also, you must put the parameters of the net use command in the correct order.
    C:\>net help localgroup
    The syntax of this command is:
    NET LOCALGROUP
    [groupname [/COMMENT:"text"]] [/DOMAIN]
    groupname {/ADD [/COMMENT:"text"] | /DELETE} [/DOMAIN]
    groupname name [...] {/ADD | /DELETE} [/DOMAIN]
    This help information tells you that you put the group name first after the words
    net localgroup. As Forest brook pointed out, if the group name contains spaces, you must enclose it in quotes.
    After the group name, put the name of the user or group you want to add to (or remove from) the local group. If the user or group name contains spaces, as noted, you must enclose it in quotes. After this group name, put the parameter
    /ADD to add to the local group, or put /DELETE to remove.
    For example, suppose you want to add the domain group FABRIKAM\Account Operators to the local Administrators group. This is the command you would enter:
    C:\> net localgroup Administrators "FABRIKAM\Account Operators" /add
    This command adds FABRIKAM\Account Operators to the local Administrators group.
    In your specific case, it looks like the command would be:
    C:\> net localgroup Administrators "XYZ\Desktop Administrator" /delete

  • Automatic Service purchase requisiton from sales order

    Gurus,
    We have a business scenario where , service purchase requsition needs to be created automatically from a sales order.
    Could you please let us know whether anybody has worked on this scenario ?
    Kindly also suggest if any workaround can make this scenario possible ?
    Thanks & regards,

    For useful answers - Do not worry about reward points.

    You can enable it from schedule line category. In the configuration of Schedule line category fill the PR document type in the Order type field and click the P.req.del.sched checkbox on. Then , when  you create sales order, a PR will be automatically created.
    Reward if this helps.

  • ODSI service using function from oracle database

    Hi ,
    I need to create a ODSI service using function from oracle database.
    I am not sure how to create a Physical Layer and Logical Layer using the function fron db.
    Kindly provide a sample . I need It ASAP. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Tara

    Here's what you do.
    Create New Physical Data Service -> Relational -> MyDataSource -> Table -> SomeTable ... finish the wizard.
    So now you have a Physical Data Service that represents a database table.
    Create New Physcial Data Service -> Relational -> MyDataSource (the same one as above) -> Database Function -> Enter UPPER for the Function name, enter MyUpper fro the XQuery Function. Finish the Wizard (use something like MyUpperDs for the ds name).
    Open MyUpperDs. Right-click -> Edit Signature on MyUpper. Change the ReturnType to string, change the Occurrence to Zero or One.
    Add a parameter, change the Type to string, change the Occurrence to Zero or One.
    Save.
    Now, open the first ds you made SomeTable.ds (whatever). Run it in the test view.
    Go to the Overview tab. Create New Operation. Give it the name SOMETABLE_UPPER. Save it.
    Go to the Query Map tab, open SOMETABLE_UPPER. Drag and drop SOMETABLE (the system-generated function into the mapper. It will show a dotted line from SOMETABLE to the Return. Now drag-and-drop the SOMETABLE to the top-level element of the return type, it will show solid lines from each element in SOMETABLE to each element in the return type.
    Now, drag-and-drop MyUpperDs.MyUpper into the Query Mapper. Edit the source, find where it added the line "for $x in myd:MyUpper()" and delete that line.
    Change a line that simply returns a value to use your function, for example, change
    <FIRST_NAME>{fn:data($CUSTOMER/FIRST_NAME)}</FIRST_NAME>
    to
    <FIRST_NAME>{myd:MyUpper(fn:data($CUSTOMER/FIRST_NAME))}</FIRST_NAME>
    Click on the Plan tab and Show Query Plan. You will see that in the query plan, it is using the database UPPER function where you specified MyUpper.
    Go to the Test View and run it.
    I used the RTLCUSTOMER table in cgDataSource

  • How to transfer service ticket data from ECC6.0 to CRM 7.0 using LSMW?

    how to transfer service ticket data from ECC6.0 to CRM 7.0 using LSMW?
    Plz suggest me any BAPI or IDOC for that ..
    thanks in Advance .

    You have to convert your long string to a table of shorter strings.
    There may be other ways, but one possibility is to use a loop to process you string.
    while (there is something left)
       put the next e.g. 1024 characters in a new row of your table
    endwhile
    If you need to reconstruct your string from the table, don't use simple concatenation since it will remove blanks at the end of lines. Believe me (from experience) sooner or later this will happen.
    Instead you need to either set the subsections of your long string, or insert from the end of your table and keep shifting the contents (probably less efficient) right

  • Ant deploy from Jdev works fine - same ant deploy from command line fails

    Hi
    I'm using Jdev 10.1.3 and OAS 10.1.3 and created some web services. I can deploy using the Wizard in JDev - works fine, created a build.xml file using the <oracle:deploy> ant task. Also work fine from JDeveloper.
    But when running from command line (windows) I get the following:
    d:\>ant deploy
    Buildfile: build.xml
    init:
    compile:
    copy:
    ear:
    [war] Building war: D:\invision\source\INVisionWebService1013\INVisionWebService.war
    [war] Warning: selected war files include a WEB-INF/web.xml which will be ignored (please use webxml attribute to war task)

    I have studied the web for suggestion also http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25221_04/web.1013/b14431/anttasks.htm#sthref164 but nothing seems to work. Tried copying oracle jars to my ant directory (ant version 1.6.5) but still no success (above error message disappered but other came instead).
    Why must this process be so complex. Can anyone help?

    Hi,
    You need to have the following jars in your classpath before firing the ant deploy task.
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\utilities\ant-oracle-classes.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\adminclient.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\2ee\home\lib\oc4j-internal.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\javax77.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\javax88.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\jmxri.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\OracleAS_1\webservices\lib\wsa.jar;
    Please check your classpath and add the above jars, if not present and try ant deploy task now.
    I suppose it should work fine.
    Hope its helpful.
    Rgds,
    Prashanth Babu.
