Set member to totalize a group of set members for any measure

Hi there,
I am wandering is there is a way to get a set member that totalize a particular group of members. So for example:
For a Location dimension which only have Location attribute with the following members:
Location1
Location2
Location3
Location4
Location5
I would like to create a static set with only one member as MidTotal that will basically return the total for Location4+Location5 for any measure in the Cube.
Any advice or query will be very welcome.

According to your description, you want to create calculated members to aggregate the member Location4 and Location5, right?
In this case, you try the query below.
create member [Cube].[Dimension].[Hierarchy].[Member]
as
aggregate( {
[Cube].[Dimension].[Hierarchy].&[Location4],
[Cube].[Dimension].[Hierarchy].&[Location5]

You can send to multiple people but you can not save them as a group in the stock app but there is a number of apps on market that can do this.Try

How to set "Output folder" and "Outputfolder URL" in Flasbuilder 4b1 for combined Java/Flex project with WTP?

Hi,
how can I set the "Output folder" and "Output folder URL" in Flasbuilder 4b1?
In Flexbuilder 3 I can do this under Project Properties/"Flex Build Path"
Under "Flex Build Path" in F4b1 I can see the settings, but they are not editable.
A message says "The output folder settings for server projects are on the Flex Server Property Page" but under "Flex Server" there is nothing (yet) I can change/set?!
Is there a workaround?

Yes I'm using Flash Builder b1, build 235740. But your settings panel looks different to mine (see attached).
Just a thought. When you created the Flex project, did you choose a server technology at that point already? I just remember from Flex Builder 3 that if you didn't choose a server technology when you created the Flex project then it was a pain in the ** to add it later. It involved editing the .flexProperties file manually if I remember correctly.

Maintain Excise and series group determination setting

In maintain excise group and series group determination setting. My all the fields are common for both domestic and export and i have to differentiate with automatic excise invoice. When i was trying to do the setting in Maintain excise and series setting. Its not allowing me to save it.

Sales org.      Distribution ch.      Division    shipping point    Plant     excise Group    series group     export        sub transt. type

All these fields are common for export also. when i try to maintain setting for export. i just try to add export field as export under bond. But it stops to do that. And our company policy is we can not create more distribution channel or division.
Can anybody tell me how to do that or is there any user exit for this.

I had created a new series group and tried to assign in the maintain excise and series group determination. But it give the same error "target ket must be different from the source key"
What i had done is : i had created new series group i.e z3
and maintained setting like that

when i try to save it, it gives error.

Tabs: previous versions allowed for saving all tabs in a bookmark folder. The new tab groups do not behave this way. How can I save permanent set of tabs as a group that is available later, like the folder of bookmars was?

tabs: previous versions of firefox allowed for saving all tabs with a group name, so you could open them all again later at your convenience. The new firefox 4.0.1 has a new tab feature, but the tab groups do not seem to persist once you shut down, and are not saved as a folder in your bookmarks. What am I missing? How can I do what I want (save permanent set of tabs as a group that is available later, like the folder of bookmarks was)? Thanks

Substituting a set of AD groups in NTFS permissions for another across multiple folders

Okay, here's a good one.
On a file server at one of our branch offices we have a set of folders that have permissions set for a particular set of groups in AD. For the purposes of this question the name of that office is "Sparta."
We are setting up another branch office that is going to have that same set of folders. We'll call that office "Athens." It has its own set of AD groups. So for example, if Sparta has a group called 'Sparta Admin,' then Athens has an analogous
group called 'Athens Admin.' The only difference in the name of the group is that it has the name of the branch office attached to it.
The permissions get rather complex, with multiple sets applied to the same group to get the desired effect. Whenever a new branch office goes up (which is often), they get a server with this same set of folders, with the same set of permissions applied to
groups that contain the branch office name as a prefix.
I hope that makes sense so far.
So my question is, since it takes quite a while to go through each permission one by one and change the name of the group, for example from 'Sparta Admin' to 'Athens Admin,' can anyone help me come up with a script or something similar I can run that would
simply ask for the name of the branch office and automatically change the names accordingly, or even create the needed groups with the Branch Office's name if they don't already exist?

Question on a specific Group Policy setting for SCCM Updates

Hello,
This may not exactly be the correct forum for this question but in looking around I didn't come up with an immediate answer and was hoping someone else had this issue.
I have a WSUS server and am moving over to SCCM for updates. I've actually had success in getting 2 sets of patches installed after some very frustrating days thanks to people here.
I've noticed that when I switch workstations to my AD folder that has the SCCM Updates GPO instead of our standard WSUS GPO that we get action center errors "Set up Windows Update", "Windows Update is not set up". When we click
the flag it tells us to "Choose an Update Option".
In my new GPO I do have Configure Automatic Updates Enabled for "Auto Download and notify for install" but we still get this warning. Is there a differnet setting that controls this action that anyone is aware of in their experience? I looked
through the other settings but didn't se anything obvious.

Hi Dustin,
I'd read a number of different things trying to solve the problem. That article looked a little familiar but I re-read it carefully.
I do have "specify intranet Microsoft Update service location" set to Not Configured as someone had correctly pointed me to that as the reason I was not getting updates.
I did not have "Allow signed updates from an Intranet Micorsoft update server" enabled so that shoudl help some.
"Configure Automatic Updates" was enabled because I, incorectly, thoguth that's all that might be needed since Ihad to make sure I'd Not Configured the first setting.
I had "Turn on Recommended Updates" Enabled so I put it back to not configured.
I understand that turning things to Not Configured doesn't necessarily change any previous group policy settings so I may be getting some fallout from having a WSUS server on these systems before. I'd just like to aviod having to have everyone go into the
action center and manually click to configure updates.
I'll see if my one setting change has any effect.
UPDATE: I forced a gpupdate and the red flag in the action center has not disappeared.

Backup 3.1 V356 .Mac member name or password is not set

Hello,
I recently changed my .Mac Password and since I have done so, backup fails with .Mac member name or password is not set when I try and backup my personal data to my iDisk.
I read on the Backup help to delete all associations with .Mac in the Keychain, which I did (I had this error before deleting the Keychain error: Invalid .Mac user name or password
Unable to complete backup at this time.) I believe I deleted all of them and now how the Member name or password is not set. My way of trying to fix this was by going to the finder and clicking on the iDisk. I did this, it prompted me for the Username and Password, I re-opened backup and still no joy.
Can anybody else think of anything?
Do I need to delete backup and re-install it or something?

Things to try
System Preferences in the Internet section, under the Account table, re-enter your .mac email address and password
On your hard drive go to Library/Keychain and see if there are any values for .mac

Hello, I would like to create a condition that would force MAB'd clients to hit a certain policy set if their MAC address matches one in an endpoint identity group? Is this possible? I feel like a condition can be created using a combination of attributes, but I cannot seem to hit on it properly. Thanks.

The cleanest way to to this would be to dedicate:
1. (Wired) A test switch where all of your test devices are connecting. You can then build a policy set that matches against that NAS.
2. (Wireless) A test SSID and/or a controller (virtual or 2504). You can then build a policy set that is dedicated to that SSID

BAPI_PO_CHANGE: Realease group is set to blank

Hi,
I have a custom report which is used Bapi BAPI_PO_CHANGE to update the delivery date.
I got the weird issue is that after updating using this Bapi, the Realease Strategy tab disappeared (It was there before).
This means the Realease group is set to blank.
Please advise me any OSS note or a solution to fix this problem.

Setting Default Outlook Signature By Group Policy

I am attempting to standardise our company's email signature for all users. A contact supplied me with a VBA script which generates a signature based on the user's AD information. This works great but I would like group policy to set this signature as default
to prevent users from making changes. From various Google searches, it seems that the default signature can be set by GP, but I can't seem to make sense of any of the posts that I find. This may be because I am new to GP and don't understand the context. Any
suggestions as to what would be the best way to approach this?
