Setting connection parameters in iOS-Corebluetooth Framework

Hi Team,
     According to the Core Bluetooth Framework Reference there is an option argument on the CBCentralManager.connectPeripheral method, but there is no documentation that describes it other than to mention that its "A dictionary to customize the behavior of the connection.".
      I'm assuming that this is how the caller would specify the initial connection interval and slave latency. Please provide the dictionary details(i.e key of the dictionary).
     Please suggest me, how to give the key and value for the connection parameters dictionary(mentioned above).

Thanks for the answer. I am sure a trigger could be done but would be a pain for a few deployment reasons.
In my searching seems like the ODBC setting work much like the fat JDBC. So I would guess I will need some VBA script in Access. But I am not sure VBA can drill down to the driver level.
Any thought on a VBA script a user could run to set the params then they could do their ad-hoc stuff?

actually I want to make SqlDeveloper to make case insensitive search.
when I google, I've found to make oracle as case insensitive I need to set NLS_SORT to Binary_CI and NLS_COMP to LINGUISTIC
Default SQLDEVELOPER NLSParmeters values are as NLS_SORT---->Binary and NLS_COMP--->Binary
Now I want to make these as NLS_SORT---->Binary_CI and NLS_COMP--->LINGUISTICS.

Does editing a pre-fix set for bgp in IOS-XR cause a loss of network connectivity

I have to edit an existing prefix-set for bpg in ios-xr. When I went to do it the first time it told me it would wipe the existing information so I aborted the change.
I have since read that you need to redo the whole list and add the new network you want.
For example.
existing
pre-fix set TEST
10.10.10.0/24,
11.11.11.0/24
new
pre-fix set TEST
10.10.10.0/24, 11.11.11.0/24, 12.12.12.0/24
1st) is the above correct?
2nd) when this is done will there be any drops in connectivity?

1) It is correct, when you create the new prefix-set with the same name as the old one, it overwrites the old one. Meaning that, it wont "append" to the old config, it creates a new prefix-set from scratch
2) Depends on where are you referencing the prefix-set. For example, on BGP route-policy, there wont be any drop on BGP connectivity, you might even have to do a soft refresh in and out to refresh the advertised/filtered routes

Right-click the WINDOWS desktop, choose New->Microsoft Data Link. That will bring up a dialog that allows you to configure and test your database connection. You might connect to the Access database via ODBC or directly via Jet Engine. The Jet Enginge saves you the trouble of creating an ODBC connection on your PC. After you leave the dialog, the "data link" will show up on your desktop as text file. Open it and copy-paste the connection string to your VI.

I have a SSIS package named FlushFeed4Data that copy data from a table named TableA in a database named DatabaseA located on SQL server 2005 named SQL2005 to another table named Table B in a database named DatabaseB located on a server 2012 named SQL2012.
The server SQL2005 is setup like a linked server in the server 2012. My package runs smootly: first it removes all old records in SQL2012.DatabaseB.TableB & then copy all records from SQL2005.DatabaseA.TableA to SQL2012.DatabaseB.TableB to without
any error message. It runs well both when I ran debugging in SQL Server Data Tools (Microsoft Visual Studio) & when I executed this package in SSIS of server SQL2012. However when I use a job named FlushFeed4Data to run this package, I've got error message:

Arthur suggestion works but you shouldnt even be doing this on a SQL Task.
Use a data flow task. You'll have better control over the data that is being transfered and get better performance because no staging table will be used.

We read parameters set in the communication channel of an adapter through method getSupplementalData("module.parameters") of com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleData.
I have following question regarding reading/writing configuration data, set in communication channel for a File adapter:
1) How can I read the FTP Connection Parameters in a module of a module processor?
2) Is it possible to update FTP parameters at Module Processor level for Receiver Adapter?
3) If update of parameters through Module Processor is not possible, then is there some other way I can set the FTP parameters?

You can not dynamically determine the FTP server etc. In the Receiver Adapter, Module is called first, then control is given XI Adapter to output the file into FileSystems. You can modify the Payload.

Assignment of BEx 7 connection parameters in unicode system

We faced the following problem:
There is a BEx 7 workbook on BI-server. We use this WB to save data in DSO with remote function module. To call the this FM, in VBA-function we create an object r3 like u201CSAP.Functionsu201D.This object gets BEx Analyzeru2019s current connection parameters. At that moment the following error raises: u201CRun-time error u201861704u2019: Internal application erroru201D.
Our BI-system is Unicode system. In all Non-unicode BI-systems, that we tested, connection parameters are sending successfully. However, if we create "SAP.Functions.Unicode" object, then there is another error: "Run-time error '-2147352568 (80020008)': Bad variant type".
When we use the similar functions in BEx 3.5, assignment of connection parameters is fine with "SAP.Functions" object both in Unicode and non-unicode systems... Using "SAP.Functions.Unicode" does not lead to error, but the connection is not happening in this case.
Could you advice what settings should be done in BI-system or how can we adjust our function to solve connection problen

Receiver SOAP Adapter - Connection Parameters

I have a scenario where I need to pass some data (authentication data) to a web service.
I tried using Connection Parameters - Connection User Authentication, and it seems it does not go through SOAP HEADER.
Does anybody know I can pass data to a Web Service without using payload??
Actually I need to pass information set up in communication channel like user authentication.

Correct format for P_JDBCPDS connection parameters / URL ?

Am using the Sqlserver-merant driver with a simple report but can't get past the error message below. Have read through all the posts here & at metalink and all advise updating classpath's etc to point at the Merant drivers, these have all been set ok but its still not working (actually don't recall seeing any thread where this has been resolved).
I believe the problem may lie in the format of the connection parameters in the URL, again from the posts in the forums I've found many variations so need to check which one is actually correct. Oracle's 'Configuring and Using the JDBC PDS' gives examples of sybase and db2 strings but not sql server... has anyone ever got this to work??

Hi Leah,
The display URL for a Database Source should point to a separate server that provides web access to the document. It is not meant to point back to the SES instance. As the Admin Guide states:
"This connector requires that there is URL-based access to the records in the result set of the view or query."
In other words, the display URL should be something you can copy/paste into your browser location bar to view the document, with the other server rendering the document information to a user completely independently from SES.

Do you know how can I change Connection Framework parameters in a Webdynpro Application? The app was deployed in TEST, now I want to move it to Production...
In my application I am using Connection Framework to connecto to a BAPI.
The connection was created using
SAP Connectivity > SAP Enterprise Connector.
I provided connection parameters for a TEST environment (Host name, system number, client, logon name...).
I deployed the application in TEST, but how can I change these parameters prior to promote it to Production? Were and how do I fill the new parameter values?

Hi Silvio,
AFAIK, you need to provide JCO connection to proxy port type and all connection specific data is there. (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ed/897483ea5011d6b2e800508b6b8a93/frameset.htm). You can use configuration files for this or RFC destination.
You only need to regenerate proxy when interfaces of functional modules are dufferent for TEST and Production.
BTW, why are you using SAP EC instead of adaptive RFC model in WD application?

I tried setting the new replacement parameter process.max-msq-qbytes through projects->Resource Control from the management console.but still uinable to set the parameters.
Can anyone help me in setting the above kernel parameters.
Its not possible to set it thru /etc/system.

I finally had some time to find the actual syntax for tuning process.max-msq-qbytes and process.max-msg-messages. prctl will change those paramaters for an existing process.
As a proof of concept I changed process.max-msg-messages to a 64k. process 2221 is my shell.

...Solaris 10 has different tunables and default values from 8 and 9. It's default tunables should be good for most applications per a given system's hardware. There are some great blog articles, and discussions on opensolaris.org and blogs.sun.com on tuning that explain the intent of tuning and why we shouldn't have to tune.

Using SET GET parameters in ITS

Is it possible to use set get parameters in ITS. We want to set some parameters in a BADI and read the value in ITS Template .

Sure. In your abap program use the following code
* ITS macros
INCLUDE avwrtcxm.
GET PARAMETER ID 'YOUR_PARAMETER' FIELD SAVE_PARAMETER.
field-set u2018~YOUR_PARAMETERu2019 1 SAVE_PARAMETER.
field-transport.
in the template you can now use ~YOUR_PARAMETER.
