Setting different Tabel Cell SemanticColor for Multiple Columns of each row
Hi,
I have requirement of setting different colors to different columns for each row based on some condition in table data.
The data to table is coming from model, hence table is mapped to model node and attributes.
I have created Seperate Node CellColorNode with attribue CellClr1 and CellClr2 of type TextView Semantic Color.
Set the calculated, read only attribute to True. Mapped table columns text view to the CellColorNode->CellClr1 and CellColorNode-->CellClr2 correspondingly.
Now, my query is how do i set the colors to CellClr1 and CellClr2 attributes. As I need to set the color for multiple columns of each table row.
Is it in method getColorCellCellClr generated? Any Example Code?

How to set different default interactive reports for different user groups?
I'm probably overlooking an obvious solution, but how do I set different default interactive report for different user groups?
For the same interactive report, I want one set of users to see a default where the default filter is based on column X. However, another group of users doesn't have authorization to see that column so I need to set the default filter to something else for them.

I need to display a common column heading for multiple columns in my ALV Grid Display output. I am giving the sample output here.

You have to use classical report using WRITE stmts for this.
If your client does not want to lose ALV functionalities, then you can try something like.

For example

I want to update this table by subtract the value of the column (QTY) out 70 so the result i want will be

This makes no sense. Rows have no ordering; that is a spreadsheet. There is no such thing as a generic “id” in RDBMS. And an identifier is not a sequence which would have an ordering.

Sorting a Collection with dynamic columns using a custom compare function for multiple columns
I need help and ideas on how to sort a ListCollectionView. My problem is complicated by 3 requirements-
1. The column values contain HTML tags that needs to be removed before sorting (use custom compareFunction to strip HTML)
2. The columns are dynamic, so dataField names are not known at compile time (need a single compareFunction for all columns)
3. The data is used in an AdvancedDataGrid so multi-column sorting is required
I have figured out how to solve any 2 of the 3 requirements. However, I am having difficulties supporting all 3 requirements.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.After playing with this some more I think I've figured out a solution. This seems to work in initial testing. Also, there is not a need to capture the current sort column in the headerRelease event which many offered solutions suggested. Another benefit to this solution is that keyboard initiated sorting is handled also. Whereas the headerRelease event is only triggered by a mouse click on the column header and special handling is required if the user uses the keyboard to access the column header.
One point that I don't understand is how ascending/decending order is determined. Behavior seems to be different between a single SortField versus multiple SortFields. Notice how the compareResults are handled for the different situations. Anyone out there know why???

JDBC, SQL-SELECT: Aliases for multiple columns?
Folks;
using SQL, JDBC with MaxDB 7.6, I am used to doing something like
SELECT A AS FOO_A, B AS FOO_B, C AS BAR_C FROM FOO, BAR WHERE ...
in order to make table columns have names sometimes more "meaningful" than in the actual database scheme. In a give environment, I will have to do a
SELECT * FROM FOO,BAR WHERE ...
with the difficulty that FOO and BAR contain columns of the same name, yet they both contain too many columns to actually enumerate/alias each one of them manually. Playing around trying something like
SELECT FOO.* AS FOO_*, BAR.* AS BAR_* FROM FOO,BAR WHERE ...
of course didn't work, and browsing the web I found there is no "standard SQL" way of doing something like this. Using
java.sql.ResultSet
provides a
getMetaData()
method which allows for determining the "table name" for a given column in the fetched result set, but unfortunately, the outcome returned by this method always seems to be empty. So to ask:
- Is there any way in MaxDB-SQL to allow for "aliasing multiple columns"?
- Alternatively, is there a way to make an SQL query joining multiple tables in MaxDB issued through JDBC generally return table columns in a <tablename>.<columnname> rather than just <columnname> style?

afaik the resultset.getMetaData() method should provide a MetaData-object that in turn implements methods like getColumnCount() or getColumnName() etc...
Can you provide a piece of code to demonstrate that this is not working?
I just tested DB Studio and Squirrel SQL (both use JDBC to connect to the database) and both are able to correctly figure out the structure of the result set for a query like yours.
Anyhow, the whole requirement is not supposed to be supported.
In fact, it's already a kind of 'glitch' that results with non-unique columnnames are actually produced, since relational theory forbids such results.
That's also the reason for why you cannot further work with such a resultset (e.g. use it in a join).
Therefore, no workaround in place here.
If you´re going to have a query like this rather often, you may think about using views and define the aliases there only once.
And besides all this, if you've got many duplicate column names it might also be a unlucky data design.

Can I set up a pro forma for multiple images
Hi all
Well I am a newbie to Keynote and I am really enjoying using it.
I am trying to set up a pro forma for class photos at a school, the photos have been handed to me by the teachers but are all slightly different sizes.
My question is can I set up some sort of master document where I can place the photos (head shots) of the students with their names under them ready for a keynote display and have the photos all the same size without editing them separately.
I need to be able to remove photos occasionally too (ie if they are absent etc) so would need it to be a 'changeable' master rather than a screen shot. The amount of students in each class varies from 15 to 29 so I would need to accommodate the 29 with names under them and a heading somewhere on the page.
Is it doable? Do I do it straight into the keynote or onto a pages document first?

I have few set of load test scenarios, I would like to add each of these test scenarios to "AutoPilot" and run each different scenario profile at different number of iterations.
As in Oracle Load Testing the "Set Up AutoPilot" tab I see a section like this "Iterations played by each user: ", which says run these many iterations for every virtual user of all profile added under "Submitted Profile Scenario". So is there any thing like that to set different iterations for every scenario profile added in Autopilot.

It also is possible to create style rules for particular sites and to apply them using either a userContent.css file or the Stylish extension. The Greasemonkey extension allows you to use JavaScript on a site-by-site basis, which provides further opportunity for customization. But these would take time and lots of testing to develop and perfect (and perfection might not be possible)...
Regarding size, does the zoom feature help solve that part? In case you aren't familiar with the keyboard and mouse shortcuts for quickly changing the zoom level on a page, this article might be useful: [[Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages]]. -
I have a one textframe in which i want to set three different pointsize(font size) for three different text ranges. I have set different tag name for different text ranges . So How can I set different pointsize in the single texmframe.

Extending Martti's post, you can create an XSLT that will add an element around the ASD2.1 part when you import the XML file into FrameMaker. Then FrameMaker's EDD can format this added element with a font different from the one used in the content element.

Best way to set up a Mac laptop for multiple users with AD logins
I am setting up a MacBook Pro running 10.4.11 that will be used as a "loaner" notebook for meetings, etc. The computer will be used internally at our company, so users will be logged into our network. Active Directory is set up on this computer to allow all domain users to log in using their own user name and password; this approach helps meet our company's security standards (we want to avoid using one common login or account for all users).
While this approach seems to fit our needs, it causes problems when it comes to running applications. For instance, each new user is prompted to enter first-time usage information when launching an application (forcing them to contemplate registration information, various settings, etc.). I've given "everyone" read-write privileges to the HD > Library and the Applications folder, but this does not solve anything and may not be a good approach anyway.
I would welcome any advice on the best way to set up this computer for multiple users logging in via Active Directory. Thanks!Where are you installing the third party applications? It sounds like they are being installed in the 'User 1' account, rather than the /Applications folder (admin or not, one user normally can not see into another user's folders). Repairing permissions only works for applications that have a file in /Library/Receipts, not on folders in general, so you would need to check the permissions for the folders in question.

Can I set a default Playback preference for multiple users on same PC?
I am setting up an editing suite for our University which has a "per machine" Creative Cloud licence. It is a PC installation. This machine will be used by a class of students who will log in with their own credentials. I need to set the preferences for Premiere (video output, workspace layout, default drives etc) so that it will be the same for all users logging in since we want a consistent setup for teaching purposes and dont want to have to help each student set up so that it shows correctly on the monitors. Is there a way of saving this setting as the default for every user? In particular, as we have dual monitors, we want to save the preferences - Playback to always appear on the second monitor. This is really important for us - I need an answer before building more suites.
(Adobe won't let me ask them directly, so I have to wait for someone to provide an anwser on the forums... not great customer support in my book)Firstly...is this editing suite for the purpose of teaching editing or something else?

You can set up the machine(s) initially exactly how you want them in regards to hardware and screen layouts etc. Thats easy and can be called..'University of Waikato Default Edit Workspace' for example. That is only part of it though.
You can set up and share a common Key Board Short cut Preference File. Same as Export Presets.
There is no way you can "Default" all the USERS stuff for individual unique projects though without creating a massive potential for disaster and confusion.
Each will need to have access to many separate drive locations for their media (audio, graphics, footage) and the knowledge to create, access and locate it.
THey will each need a separate Location for their Projects as well as their media.
If they are editing students...they should be taught how to set up everything for themselves so they have an understanding of the fundamentals and basic s of NLEs -
Multiple columns with uneven rows

Could somebody advise me on the best solution to do the following.
I have a csv file. The csv file is being read using "read from spreadsheet file" vi.
The file contains multiple columns. The columns all have a different last row address. By this I mean that...say...the last row of column 1 is 5. Column 2 last row is 23, Column 3 last row is 12. etc. The file might look like the following...note...this is an example of a file only, and any implications can't be construed.

Row1 0 1 2 3 4
Row2 12 23 13 34 0
Row3 11 44 23 11
Row4 34 55
Row5 21
Lets assume that the value(s) of interest are contained in columns 2,4 and 5. Therefore the values I want to extract would be 55, 34 and 11
I can select the columns of interest fine, but am having difficulty working out how to find the last row for these columns
Caveats:
1. The number of columns changes
2. Position of column in file changes address...never found in same address
Does anybody know how I might be able to locate the last row in the column of my choosing.

load the csv as an array of strings. Empty cells will result in empty strings. So you can easily test each column for an empty item, which will mark the "End of Data"...

I have used LVC_S_LAYO for outputting the list, now i need to select some and delete, but i am unable to do it, I am able select 1 record or all the record but not as per my wish.
ex: ten records are displayed in the list, I am able to select only 1 record or all the 10 but not two randomly as i wish.
Please let me know how to that, mean while i have used
