Setting Negative Forecast Values to Zero

In 7.0 we used a option - Setting Negative Forecast Values to Zero.
But after upgrade to 7.3 this option is missing and I can find any information about this.
Can we open the option in 7.3?
Anatoly

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
mls qos
interface GigabitEthernet3/34
description *** DATA VLAN 35 - VOICE VLAN 34 ***
switchport
switchport trunk native vlan 36
switchport trunk allowed vlan 34,36
switchport mode trunk
mls qos trust dscp
no cdp enable
spanning-tree portfast trunk
If i don't include the global 'mls qos' command then the voice packets keep the dscp 46 value.  If I add the mls qos command this causes the switch to set the dscp values to zero.
Thanks again
ps.  there are some other mls commands on the switch... i don't know if these could interfere but they were already on there so i'm reluctant to remove them..

  • APO DP Unable to save negative forecast values

    Hi,
    We are not able to generate negative statistical forecast in our system in the background or in the foreground. When the system is supposed to generate negative values, we receive the message "Forecast will be negative". Our business requirement is to allow negative values to be generated.
    I am using SCM7 EHP2. All key figures allow negative values to be entered, we did manual test entering data in the data view then saving -xx in cells and it works well. When background jobs are ran, the messages that are supposed to allow negative values are checked.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

    Hi Maxence,
    I have had a similar requirement to see negative forecast.
    Anyway, it seems it is a standard DP behaviour. Take a look this note.
    1745808 - Negative forecast values set to zero
    According to this note, If you do not want to set negatve forecast value to zero, you have to modify the standard program to set the global parameter GV_NEGATIVE_FORECAST in class  /SAPAPO/CL_PE_FCS_SERVICE with value 'X'.

  • Mls qos trust dscp??? is setting my DSCP values to zero!?

    Hi,
    I was just doing some testing to ensure that the command 'mls qos trust dscp' is working on my 6509 switches before rolling out QoS.
    Before adding any configuration I could see using wireshark that traffic from my Avaya 9608 handset was coming through with a DSCP value of 46 (as it is supposed to).
    I then added the command 'mls qos' (at global level)
    on examining the wireshark output this time, the DSCP value had been set to zero (i.e. it defaulted it to best effort)
    I then expected by adding the commmand 'mls qos trust dscp' on the interface the phone is connected to that the DSCP value would would again be left alone?
    does anybody know why this is happening?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Negative forecast release to snp

    Hi,
    we have a requirement to be able to release negative forecast values from dp to snp, i tried this out using the standard transaction sapapo/mc90 but whenever i release negative forecast values it zeroes it out in snp. Though we get a message that negative forecast values zeroed out.
    Is it possible to release negative forecast values to dp, if yes how?
    Thanks

    As far as i know, You cant release negative forecasts into SNP by MC92
    This converts the Time series to Order Series Data. There cant be a negative Forecast in SNP . Forecast is already a negative requirement. So a negative forecast is the equivalent of a reciept
    Why do you need negative forecast in SNP. If its for display purposes use TSCOPY and copy to a time series KF in SNP planning area.
    Else, using some mechanism, Filter out the Negative forecasts and make it absolute values and pass it on to SNP as Planned orders instead of Forecasts (you can change the order type when you release forecast from FA to something that is planned orders) you can pass the non-negative as forecast.

    I am using a table in Numbers to plot daily graph lines. Mood swings of how I am on the day, i"m a depressive.
    If I fill a cell with a step box at say zero it plots the graph. I can't actually set the cell value until the actual day but the graph plots it at zero when I don't want it to plot anything. Is there a work around. so thatbgraph only plots on the day?

    The answer is (sort of) in your subject, but edited out of the problem statement in the body of your message.
    When you use a stepper or a slider, the value in the cell is always numeric, and is always placed on the chart if that cell is included in the range graphed by the chart.
    But if you use a pop-up menu cell, you can specify numeric or text values in the list of choices for in the menu. Numeric values will be shown on the chart. Text values will not.
    For the example, the values list for the pop-up menu was:
    5
    3
    1
    Choose
    -1
    -3
    -5
    The first pop-up was set to display Choose, then the cell was filled down the rest of the column. Any text value (including a single space, if you want the cell to appear blank) may be used instead of Choose.
    For charts with negative Y values, the X axis will not automatically appear at Y=0. If your value set will include negative values, I would suggest setting the Y axis maximum and minimum to the maximum and minimum values on your menu list, rather than letting Numbers decide what range to include on the chart. Place a line shape across the chart at the zero level, and choose to NOT show the X axis.

  • Function that zero out negative forecast in APO DP (SCM 4.0)

    Hi,
      I tried to look for a thread about the above function but I have no luck.  Would you kindly share a light if you have come accross negative number being generated automatically? (no macro is set up for negating forecast)
    This is the note that I would found from SAP help, but there is no actual direction to get it.

    Thanks
    Anita

    it depends on the forecast strategy used....negative forecasts are automatically made zero by most strategies
    some forecast strategy will generate negative forecasts ( am not sure which of them do).. but in that case you can use a macro to make it zero
    I did not understand if you wanted Negative forecast or you want to zero out the negative ones

  • Forecasting: all historical values are zero

    Hello,
    I would like to execute forecast for a specific material.
    Then I'm in MM02 in forecasting view, I filled all necessary parameters and I press "execute forecasts".
    I received different pop ups, and one is "Between 11.2006 and 10.2011 all historical values are zero".
    If I go out of this, and press on "Consumption vals", I have no data for unplanned consumption but if I click on "Total consumption", I got all values for each period of my historical periods.
    So why do I have this message that historical values are zero? Then I have no chance to execute forecast with that behavior.
    Same with several other materials.
    Thanks for help.

    Dear Olivia,
    In MM of forecasting view there is filed Hist. periods which you could have probably maintain more than 12 months say 60. So starting from current months it will go backward & search value for last 60 months. In your case it is not finding any past values. Have you maintain it in Additional data of material master Consumption tab ? Maintain some values for months & then try

    how to delete forecast entries with zero current and original qty from a particular forecast set which span across multiple forecasts

    Hi,
    There is no way to delete those records selectively from front end.
    The best possible way is to delete the records from MRP_FORECAST_DATES tables from backend.
    Hope that helps!!

  • BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT cannot set value to zero

    I am trying to use this bapi to set a custom Marc field to zero but I cannot. I can set it to anything but zero. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Here's a sample of my code:
    headdata-function = '004'.
    headdata-material = gv_matnr.
    headdata-no_appl_log = 'X'.
    plantdata-function = '004'.
    plantdata-material = gv_matnr.
    plantdata-plant = gv_werks.
    plantdata-round_val = marc-bstrf.
    APPEND tbapie1marcrt.
    plantdatax-function = '004'.
    plantdatax-material = gv_matnr.
    plantdatax-plant = gv_werks.
    plantdatax-round_val = 'X'.
    APPEND plantdatax.
    plantdataextrt-function = '004'.
    plantdataextrt-material = gv_matnr.
    plantdataextrt-plant = gv_werks.
    plantdataextrt-field1 = 'ZZFIELD'.
    plantdataextrt-field2 = '0'.
    APPEND plantdataextrt.
    plantdataextrtx-function = '004'.
    plantdataextrtx-material = gv_matnr.
    plantdataextrtx-plant = gv_werks.
    plantdataextrtx-field1 = 'ZZFIELD'.
    plantdataextrtx-field2 = 'X'.
    APPEND plantdataextrtx.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT'
    EXPORTING
    headdata = headdata
    IMPORTING
    return = return1
    TABLES
    plantdata = plantdata
    plantdatax = plantdatax
    plantext = plantdataextrt
    plantextx = plantdataextrtx.

    I found the solution. Main EAN goes in MARM but when I had tried it and it failed it was actually because I forgot to set this field in X structure.
    Thanks.

  • How to find out user info for a forecasted value

    Hi Experts,
    Suppose, a user plans on a planning application and consequently creates some forecast values. How do i find out which user did the planning? Is there any way to know this? Please let me know of this if anybody knows.
    Regards
    Swaroop

    Hi, I'm using BPS so can't say forIP. But if you really want to see who posted which data, the planning application has to be set up that way in order to capture the user, time, date details, as indicated by the previous post. This will ptentially of course create very many more records in some cases, where data is amended.
    But your post also requested info about who ran which planning functionality, and when. You can get this sort of information in BPS from the transactions BPS_STAT0 and BPS_STAT1. You may want to narrow the amount of analysis using the username/ date /time filters.

  • Which table can we see consumption and forecast values in forecast based planning

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    I am working on implementing forecast based planning for Spare parts for my client. They have one Main Plant which do purchase of Spare Parts and through Stock transfers moved to 60+ Plants from where Spares are being sold.
    Now I am carrying out SAP trial runs for a set of 160+ materials with various models and want to compare with their existing methodology of requirement calculation.
    I want to compile Consumption and Forecast data month wise for these trial materials (160+ materials in 60 Plants) . One way I thought is to go individual Material Master and looks for values in Forecast view. However it is tedious and time consuming.
    The table name shows RMCP2 and RM03M for forecast and Cons values, but I could not find the table.
    Hence I want to know which table if I can view I can get the consumption and forecast data calculated for quick copying and compilation.
    Thanks and Regards,
    R.Velmurugan.

    Dear Mariano,
    Thanks for your valuable inputs.
    Like I could able to get the consumption values for materials using table MVER and fields GSV01,GSV02 etc.,
    What field I need refer in table PROP for getting forecast values.
    As such I could not see any column where in data are similar to Forecast view.
    Thanks and Regards,
    R.Velmurugan.

  • Net value is zero

    hi all,
              This is aravindh and i need your help to grow as a consultant.hope i will get support from u all..
               While creating sales order the net value is "Zero".. i have maintained condition technique,condition records.
              is there any other setting that has to be done to get the net value..waiting for the solution..thank u.
    Edited by: aravindh222 on Jan 27, 2011 6:50 PM

    Hi,
    You have not maintained the condition record for your material.
    Step 1 Go to VA02 and select item and go to conditions, there press analysis push button .This analysis will show the pricing procedure and the condition type attched to it.
    Step 2 Check if for the condition type like price PR00 , and discount K005/K007 Is accessed by the system ,the access and access sequence is mentioned with why the condition is found or not on the right side.
    Step 3 If the same is not maintained go to VK11 and maintain the same.
    Glad to help
    Regards

  • How to set LAST used values as default

    Hi,
    To run my application,I usually want to set the most of the parameter values same as used in last experiment. I do not want to set the default values manually as I had to use three codes and there would be 20+ controls in all these.

  • Display column values as zeros

    I am having three select queries with union below:
    select col1, col2 from table1 where condition; -> fetches 1 record
    union
    select col1, col2 from table2 where condition; -> fetches no row
    union
    select col1, col2 from table3 where condition; -> fetches no row
    so output is 1 row. example;
    col1 col2
    1 1
    The 2nd and 3rd select doesnt fetch any record. My req is to dislplay the col values as zeros for any of 3 select statements which doesnt fetch any records from table
    so req output which looks like:
    col1 col2
    1 1
    0 0 -> norecords fetched(displaying zeros)
    0 0 -> norecords fetched(displaying zeros)
    Please let me know how can i do this in the query? I need to do this in the same qury and not using any functions/proc..
