VMM 2012R2 UR4 - Version 3.2.7768.0
Not sure when this started happening since I haven't had to update or create a new RunAs account in VMM in some time, but every time I do, either through the console or through PowerShell it throws an error about The specified directory service attribute
or value does not exist. The VMM Service account is the same as it always has been, and other than this issue everything with VMM is working fine. The full text of the error message is below.
I am hoping someone has some ideas because I don't have any more at this point.

HT2534 Why does my password change after it was set and then 10 min latter does not work
Can you conirm why my login to Itune now does not work with any od the store purchase, I want to BUY but it does not work
Do we have to have two password for the same email address Stor and Ituns?The same password should work whether it's authorising the account on your computer's iTunes, signing in to view the account, or buying/re-downloading items from the store with it. What happens when you try to buy something ? Have you tried signing out (Store > Sign Out menu option) and signing back in and seeing if it then works ?

I have 2 sets of playlists in the sidebar of itunes. I have recently upgraded to 10.6.1.7 but this condition remains the same
The top list refers to greyed out listings and does not function
The list below works fine
How do I get rid of the "false" list?I think the greyed out playlists must be listed from your device which is set up to mirror your library. Because the device is synced you can't edit content directly on the device. From the top of the left-hand column do you have?
Library > Music, Movies...
Store > iTunes Store, iTunes Match...
Devices > <Your Device> > Music, Movies, and all the other "dummy" lists...
Genius > Genius, Genius Mixes...
Playlists > iTunes DJ, and then all your playlist folders and playlists...
If so then that is perfectly normal when your device is connected, either directly or over wi-fi and you have the lists expanded. Simply click the small triangle to the left of the device name to hide all the playlists.

Wish to hear goods news ASAP .
Thank you.

REPLACE command using passed variable values does not work
Hi SDN Community
Are you aware of the replace command not working when passing strings as opposed to a variable containing the string.
For example:
This works:
replace '>JUL 2008</a>' with I_TEXT_VALUE into
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
This dosen't work:
replace I_TEXT_VALUE_MATCH with I_TEXT_VALUE into
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
where I_TEXT_VALUE_MATCH = '>JUL 2008</a>'
where I_TEXT_VALUE = '>JUL 2008<BR>Actual</a>'
Thank you.
SimonHi SDN Community,
The following method was used to derive the same outcome required as per the REPLACE command.
LEN_REPLACE = STRLEN( C_CELL_CONTENT ) - 12.
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE = C_CELL_CONTENT.
replace I_TEXT_VALUE_MATCH with I_TEXT_VALUE into
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE = I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE+0(LEN_REPLACE).
CONCATENATE I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE I_TEXT_VALUE INTO
I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
C_CELL_CONTENT = I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
Thank you.

Setting field to NULL using script does not work
Hi,
This is a Hibernate and Oracle SQL developer-related question.
My application uses salesmeeting with customers and an officer. When the salesmeeting is active, OfficerID is set to the salesmeeting. If the officer closes the salesmeeting, officerID shall be set to NULL. Now, sometimes when explorer doesn't close correctly, the OfficerID is still set in the database. So, when another officer tries to login to the salesmeeting it's is locked by the first officer because only one officer at the time can access a salesmeeting.
Now to the problem: I'm trying to develop a script which simply updates the database and sets the officerID for a specific salesmeeting to NULL in order to "unlock" that salesmeeting.
The script looks like this:
UPDATE SALESMEETING SET OFFICERID = NULL
WHERE OFFICERID = 'XXXXX' AND SALESMEETINGID = '12345'
I commit the changes and OfficerID is set to NULL or (null) as it looks is SQL developer.
When logging in to the application, officerID is set to the active officer, so far so good. But, when running the Hibernate method saveOrUpdate() for the salesmeeting, the server hangs and nothing happens.
The thing is, when I manually set officerID to NULL by simply leaving the field blank, saveOrUpdate() works perfectly fine.
The third way of setting trying to set the value to null, by manually setting officerID
by typing (null) in the field generates another problem (I guess this is interpreted as the String "(null)")?
So, what I am wondering is what my script does wrong, is it not really setting officerID to NULL or is there something I need to understand about Hibernates saveOrUpdate()?
Thanks!

user615023Hi,
To set a column to null, you have written right script.
Please make sure that 'null' & null are entirly different thing.
may be when system get hang, you might have written 'null' in stead of null.
Thanks. -
Setting for "Rely on system fonts" does not work
Hello,
Some time ago I wrote a VBA function that would print a worksheet to pdf. It worked great. I reformatted my system, and now the code no longer works. When I run the routine, I receive the error message, "When you create a PostScript file, you must reply on system fonts and use document fonts. Please go to the printer properties, 'Adobe PDF Settings' page and turn OFF the option 'Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts."
I have changed this setting within the Adobe printer setting in Excel, I have changed it in both the 'Printing Preferences" and "Printer Properties" with the Devices and Printers Windows dialog, and I have confirmed that it is turned off in the binary registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\DevModePerUser\Adobe PDF". Also, I have applied the Acrobat 9.4.2 patch. Yet still I get the message when my code is executed....
There were a few changes between my system from before my reformatting. The common items were Windows7 64-bit, Adobe Acrobat 9. The changes were that I went from Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit to Office 2010 32-bit. Windows 7 SP1 is now installed. Also, both Acrobat and Office are installed on my internal "Data" drive, rather than the "C" drive where my operating system is installed.
Although I do not see an issue with code, since it worked for months, I have included it below (the printing code is at the end). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Concatenating column values does not work (in SQLplus)
I entered the following command in SQLplus and expected to get a string where all column values are (comma) concatenated:
select ''||username||','||'' from dba_users;
Unfortunatly instead of
SYSTEM,SYS,ANONYMOUS,XDB,.....
all users were listed in a column of a result table.
How else can I concat them as intended
PeterHi,
That's called "String Aggregation".
Starting in Oracle 11.2, the function LISTAGG does that.
AskTom:
http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0::::P11_QUESTION_ID:2196162600402
shows several different ways to do it, for versions 9 and up.
I recommend the first one, the user-defined function STRAGG, which is similar to LISTAGG, and which you can copy from that page.
Once you have STRAGG installed, your query is simply
SELECT STRAGG (username) AS all_usernames
FROM dba_users
;On Oracle 10 (and up) you may have a similar function, WM_CONCAT (owned by WMSYS), already installed.
WM_CONCAT is not documented, so you may not want to use it in your Production applications.
Another good site concerning String Aggregation is
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/StringAggregationTechniques.php
If you're wondering why your original query didn't do what you hoped:
SELECT ...
FROM table_x;(withoiut a WHERE clause or any other clauses) is guaranteed to produce on row of output for every row in table_x. It doesn't matter what is in the SELECT clause; there will always be one output row fro every original row. -
Cascading List of Values does not work when SQLBuilder is SQL 92.
Hi,
I followed the link http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/11/demos/ADFBC_Cascading_LOV/ADFBC_Cascading_LOV.html to create Cascading LOV. The LOV comes up fine when sqlbuilder and type map is specified as Oracle. However, the same fails when we specify the sqlbuilder as SQL92 and type map as Java. Is this a known issue?
An Invalid Column index exception is being thrown.

Hi
After applying group level security in business view I am unable to use list of values.
I am using Crystal Reports XI Release 2.
Any ideas why this occurs.
WiniHi Wini
As you have applied the group level security or rights to the users in Business view you may come across 'list of values failure' error.
Instead I would suggest you to remove the rights from the Buisness View and give the rights to the users in the Enterprise.
Hope this helps you.
Please let us know if you have any further queries.

Gen 2 VM - Setting the Boot order in Powershell does not work
Hyper-v 2012 R2
I'm using the following command to set the Boot Order for Gen 2 VM however when the VM is powered on, it continues to boot from the OS boot drive SCSI,0,0
Set-SCVirtualMachine -VM "My-VM" -FirstBootDevice "SCSI,0,1"
I've confirmed that "SCSI,0,1" is set as the DVD drive and this is indeed a Virtual DVD that has an ISO mounted on it.
Any ideas why this is being ignored?Try this:
