Setting "work Time" on a outbound call?
I have a request for me to set "work Time" built in after a outbound call. So if the user makes a call from the agent and then after they hang up it would wait 30 seconds before presenting them a call. I have UCCX 7.2 Express Enhanced Not sure if this is even possible but thought I would ask
Thank you!
Thank you for the information Andrew! I apreciate it. I will pass it along

Wrap-up time for manual outbound calls (UCCX)
Is it possible to configure the wrap-up time for the manual outbound calls in UCCX? I think, this option only exists in CSQ, which is of course meant for the inbound calls. Any thoughts or any workaround to make this work?
Requirement- Once a manual outbound call is hung up, agent's state should be switched to WORK READY as per the wrap-up timer setting.
Thanks.Dear experts,
I look forward to hear from you if you have anything to offer. Wrap-up TIME to be setup for manual outbound calls in UCCX.
Thanks,
Piyush -
Setting a time limit for outgoing calls SPA3102
I need to put a time limit, say, 5 min, on outgoing calls with a certain prefix (are code). Is it possible with SPA3102 dialplan or otherwise? Thanks.
Based on my best knowledge - no, it's not possible with just SPA3102 only.
It is switch (PBX) job to terminate the call. -
Uc520 - outbound calls take a long time
hi,
got my uc520 working, inbound calls work rigth away but outbound calls take a long time...
so when I run any sort of debug on my uc520, I dial a number let's say 9 555 555 5555 it will take about 15 seconds before anything shows up in my debugs.
so it does work but calling out not sure what happens takes a long time.
this is all with a sip provider.
I know it,s not the sip provider because as I said before any debug information is showed on my console between me dialing the number and hitting DIAL and the time anything shows up it takes about 15 seconds.
ideas?so here is the test I did today,
my UC520 at home is behind my isp's (linksys type device) so my uc520 gets a 192.168.x.x
so behind my own isp it takes a good 20 seconds before the phone I'm calling rings.
I took my device and put it in my dad's house where my uc520 gets the public ip, dhcp but still I get the public ip.
it takes about 5 seconds which is normal.
any idea why in my house before any debug starts showing up in my terminal why it takes about 15...20 seconds and when the uc has the public ip it takes about 3 to 5 seconds?
I just run
debug ccsip messages.
my dad,s internet I get the public ip it after 3 seconds debug information shows up.
on my internet it takes about 20 seconds before any debug information shows up and my uc gets a 192.168.x.x from the providers modem/router device.
thanks -
485 Ambiguous - Outbound Calls Only
I'm having some issues with the 485 Ambigous Error, but on Outbound calls only. I've read several blog posts and was able to solve this issue for incoming calls, but have yet to find a solution for outbound calls.
I have two phone numbers: XXX-XXX-5232 and XXX-XXX-3081. All of my users are configured in Lync with +1XXXXXX5232;ext=XXXXX
XXX-XXX-5232 is set to normalize to +1XXXXXX5232;ext=53999 which is a Lync User that is setup with Team Call to ring multiple other extensions. I'm not aware of any AutoAttendant or Response group that is configured with just +1XXXXXX5232.
Again, inbound calling is working just fine and outbound calls work as expected, they just report the 485 Ambiguous for each call.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.Yes, the call is routed to the Gateway. In fact, the call completes successfully. Here is the trace. Hopefully it will be readable:

Changing Working Time Project 2007
HI All
I have created a standard calendar 18 hour working day for a double shift project I am planning. I have used the change working time/options dialogue to change the standard calendar to these working hours, but when selecting the standard calendar for my
activities it still seems to hold it to 12 hours working. Any ideas. All help gratefully received. Thank-you
GBHi GB,
Did you follow the correct procedure ?Here are 2 links to help you:
https://support.office.com/en-ca/article/Set-working-times-vacations-and-holidays-for-your-project-8240adc0-692b-4d23-827b-a81fb560945d
http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/project-help/set-the-working-time-for-the-project-calendar-HP045295373.aspx
Also note that you have to go to the file/options/schedule and configure hours per days and week:
Finally I'd suggest to keep the standard calendar as is since it is the one used by default for any new resources and make a copy of this standard calendar to create a new one (call it "18hrs" for example).
Hope this helps,

Phone won't make outbound calls. can't call verizon support. this after being on hold for 17 minutes in an attempt to fix voicemail notification. this is a nightmare and Verizon is unreachable. Any way to get Verizon wireless to fix my service when they can't be called (because their phone service doesn't work)?
Well 1, I guess it's not that important to you, 2, customer support generally closes at 11pm in the time zone you are in, 3, toll free and local calls are free in hotels, 4 there is limited support after hours.

Outbound Calls stop working when Lync Edge server is offline
All,
We have had an issue inside our environment after one of our virtual hosts died and took out our sole Edge server, basically users could not dial out and were getting the error "Network is busy" on the client. Internal dialling worked perfectly to our Lync
users but the users could not dial out via our Cisco CME server.
Our configuration is a Lync Enterprise Pool with 2 servers, DB cluster and a single Lync edge server, the mediation servers are installed on our enterprise pool servers as a single server and the CME is looking at the mediation servers directly and has nothing
pointing at the edge server.
This issue affected internal users (as the external users were all kicked out due to the server being down), the strange thing was that you got errors in snooper about the server being unavailable when you dialled out, no idea why it did this. Even stranger
was that the call itself was sent to the CME as a debug SIP showed traffic being attempted between the user and the number which confused me even more as my mobile actually rang for a single ring as well.
Has anybody got any ideas as to why the Edge server would do this to internal users?
Thanks
JamesLync checks the bandwith policy against the Edge server. As the Edge is not responding Lync is unable to check the policy and the call fails.
For the time being you may want to remove the Edge from the topology, then Lync checks against the Front End server.
I hope you do understand, that this is not a great solution, but a drastic workaround suggestion to a hidden product defect! In hidden product defect I mean Microsoft Lync document team is cynically silent and trying to cover the tracks of this product defect.
What I would consider as a straight and honest retroactive action for the Lync document team, to add a big warning section to a) single server edge deployment page + b) the Call Admission Control caveats page on Technet:
"Warning: PRODUCT DEFECT / PRODUCT LIMITATION comes here
If you associate an edge server or pool to a FE pool, and enable Call Admission Control, your single / pool edge will become SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE for your entire enterprise telephony when doing outbound call attempts!
So if outbound calls is important in your company (hell, of course it is!) then deploy at least 2x Edge servers in the same pool before enable CAC!"
But I think that warning message is way too much to ask for, thatswhy is this 2,5 years old topic still open. -

I have two time capsules, one for work and one for home, how do I set up the work time capsule to only back up my work files? Also, how do I add co-workers to my work time capsule and wife to my home time capsule? Thank you!
You cannot have two different TC setups.. at least until Mountain Lion.. it did introduce some changes but I am not sure if you can setup two different configurations for TM.. you can use two different devices to back up to. I doubt this will help you.
You might be better using a real backup software.. superduper, CCC, chronosync etc.
The TC by default is available to any Mac in the network to do backups. TM will sort itself out and put each computer on a different backup. These are kept in separate sparsebundles.. so that is all fine. -
every time I try to call or they call me, my phone beugs I can not immediatly to call, denied access the directory for 2 to 4 minutes after that it works again
I tried all but nothing, everything works except the call
I have an iPhone 4 Version 6.1.3
thank you for your helpThat is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.

My FaceTime isn't working properly. Every call I make a black dot appears on the camera in the middle (fixed onto the screen, and is not dirt), and the calls always fail. It would ring 6 times and then say call failed. How can I fix this?
If FaceTime ever worked properly for you, restarting your modem (and separate router/wireless if you have such) may help. If the problem continues, try connecting at a different location to see if the problem is within your wi-fi.
The black dot problem may mean you need to reset your iPod. If that does not help, it may need service by an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
If you need help with any of these suggestions, detailed help on each topic is available via Apple's Support pages:

Blocking Outbound Calls by Area Code and Time Zone
I am looking to block agents from making outbound calls to certain time zones by area code. Can't quite get my head around how I can use route filters with time schedules. Any help would be appreciated.
Create the route patterns for those area codes and then configure one which allows the calls, and another one that blocks the calls, use TOD to enable/disable them as required.

Hello there,
Just trying out the UC320 I got borrowed from Cisco AT for testing with firmware 2.1.2 (1) localized for Austria.
The device is connected to the cable modem of my ISP (Kabelsignal) utilizing two FXO ports, getting an IP address from my DHCP being connected to a WS-C2960G-24TD (LAN 1@UC320 connected to Gi0/18@C2960G port macro Cisco Switch enabled).
Now I would like to try/see the following features:
- a correct time and date: huh? hwo/where???
No option to set this right??? No NTP option??? Am I just blind or too stupid to find that option/s?
- upload own messages for the AA: ok, there are german messages but someone might have a little bit personalized ones - maybe telling callers the company name before asking them to dial the extension if they know it. Making custom messages is not the problem - but how to upload and in which sound/data format?
- caller ID: my ISP told me that he transfers the caller ID correctly to analoge end devices if caller ID is available and not suppressed. All I can see when a call comes in is which FXO Port is being used by that call. So callback entries on the SPA phone is senseless. Any advise?
- CLI: You can telnet the device - but which credentials to use to successfully logon? The pre-assigned credentials form Cisco AT are not accepted for logon.
BTW @Cisco guys: I am also voting for support for the older SPAs (e.g. 942)Hi Claus,
Thanks for giving the UC320W a spin and glad you found the support community! Let met see if I can help answer your questions....
Time/Date & NTP -- The UC320W is preconfigured with Cisco's Small Business NTP server. The preferred method for correct time you will need the UC320W WAN to be connected with Internet access. If there is no WAN connectivity there is a feature in the 2.1.x firmware where you can set the time on a SPA phone GUI and it will then update the system time. Alternatively, if you have a LAN side NTP server that is on the same subnet as your Data VLAN subnet, you can use the NTP.pmf file found here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-16301
Upload custom Music on Hold and Auto Attendant prompt files. We are currently in beta of a new Cloud service. To participate in the Beta, please send an e-mail to [email protected] requesting MoH/AA Custom files Cloud Beta participation.
Caller ID on FXO: Make sure that you have run the impedance matching tool on each of your FXO ports. For additional information on running the Impedance Matching tool and Caller ID troubleshooting, please see the UC320W Troubleshooting Guide.
CLI access -- This is for Cisco Support personnel only for low level debugging. This is not a IOS based device and there is no command line access for provisioning.
Cheers,
Chris

Settlement inv. measure to Auc: different values in different depr. areas
