Setup Office 365 in Nokia X using Outlook app

Why am I not able to do it from the Outlook app? When I enter my login data it says "Account does not exist".

I am ready to inform you that office mobile has got support for office 365, which even works with custom domain.
hey listen, apart from this, I want to tell you, Nokia x sw v1.2 has got "live wallpaper picker".

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to download content of wiki pages on SharePoint Online.
If just for getting the text of the page, I suggest you convert page to PDF file first and then download the PDF file via a Visual Web Part as a Sandboxed solution.

  • Can't move "completed" items into folders using Outlook 2013 on a Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium Account using a work Exchange 2010 address

I've been in touch with several Microsoft support teams about this issue, and the latest move was to shove me off onto Pro support, but since I'm using a personal Office account, I'm hoping that through the community I can find a way to resolve this issue without
escalating through our IT department. I do not think this is an Exchange issues because I have previously used this product and method without resulting in this error on a Windows 7 32-bit AMD computer and a Windows 8 and 8.1 Professional 64-bit Intel computer.
    Here's my current specs:
    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, service pack 1
    AMD A6-5400 3.6 GHz
    8GB RAM
    Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium
    Office updates automatically, version 15.0.4551.1512
About Outlook shows "Microsoft Outlook 2013 (15.0.4551.1511) MSA (15.0.4551.1508) 32-bit/Part of Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium"
Here's how to reproduce the issue:
    1) Open View Settings
    2) Select "Other Settings..."
    3) Disable "Use compact layout in widths smaller than XX characters" and enable "Always use single-line layout"
    4) Select "Columns..."
    5) Under "All Mail fields" add "In folder"
    6) Select any email
    7) Context-menu -> Find Related -> Emails in this Conversation
    8) Select "more"
    9) Sort by folder
    10) Select all messages from Inbox.
    11) Use Outlook's preset "Done" function and select a destination folder
    12) Watch Outlook fail to run "Done" and reset your UI without producing an error.
The first attempt to resolve this issue was to set up a new Outlook profile. This seemed to exacerbate the problem and resulted in Outlook providing an "Unknown error" before resetting the UI.
The second attempt to resolve this issue was to run "outlook.exe /resetnavpane". However, the nav pane does not appear immediately relevant to this issue.
The following similar steps also result in a crash, this time with an error:
    11) Flag all select message as Complete.
    12) Move all messages from Inbox to a destination folder.
This change in procedure results in the error "Cannot move the items. Some items cannot be moved. They were either already moved or deleted, or access was denied."
Help me, Microsoft Community. You're my only hope.

Import the calendar and contacts in Outlook.com. For contacts, export from Outlook as csv and import into Outlook by choosing the Other option (https://people.live.com/import/other?biciid=ImportCatalog)
You'll need to save the calendar as an ics file to import it. Select the calendar folder, the File, Save as an save as an ics.

  • Exchange 2013 Office 365 Hybrid Cloud On-Premise Outlook Connection Problem

    Hi Everyone,
We are required to migrate FROM the cloud TO an on-premise Exchange 2013 server.  We set up a trial of Office365 and linked our test domain to that account.  The test domain mimics our current domain, but ends in .net instead of .org.
We set up a test Exchange 2013 server with a few database servers.  Internally, we can connect without issue (Outlook).  We mapped our test CAS to face the Internet, and can access what we need without issue.  We also set up the Hybrid
configuration on both the Exchange 2013 and Office365 servers.  We have validated that DirSync works, and migration can occur up to the cloud and back down to the on-premise server.
    Now, here is the issue:
We have our DNS records still pointing to Office365, so when we add an Office365 mailbox to Outlook (internal to the network or outside the network) we see absolutely no issues.  We migrated a mailbox today to our on-premise server, but upon doing so,
can no longer connect to, or add, that mailbox to Outlook.  When we put this integration in to effect for production, we want to be able to migrate mailboxes on-premise from the cloud, and we want to make sure users can still access their mailboxes.  This
also goes for distribution groups, conference rooms, etc.
I see that most suggestions say to change your DNS record to point to the on-premise Exchange server, which is great, but after doing so Office365 accounts experience the same issue as above.  We NEED to make sure that when we batch migrate, the users
DO NOT lose connectivity to their accounts.  We need both Office365 accounts and Exchange on-premise accounts are accessible internally and externally.  As an extra tid-bit, we HAVE configured Outlook Anywhere on Exchange 2013, but see no difference.
Any thoughts on this?  Office365 and Exchange 2013 see eachother and recognize that the hybrid environment is set up good, but it appears we are missing some configurations.  Currently, we have a CNAME record points our autodiscover to autodiscover.outlook.com.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.  Thanks!
    Dan

    Hi,
Here is an article on Move mailboxes between on-premises and Exchange Online organizations in 2013 hybrid deployments, for your reference:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj906432(v=exchg.150).aspx
I want to make sure OWA works well with the moved mailbox.
To use CNAME based autodiscover method, we need to have all domain names present in a SAN certificate.
With Exchange 2013 CU1, we now have the option of adding multiple SMTP domains to Exchange Federation/Hybrid configuration and we can specify which of these domains should act the "autodiscover" domain.
To configure an SMTP domain as the autodiscover domain, you can run following command:
    Set-HybridConfiguration -Domains "domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com", "autod:domain.com"

  • Why do we have to re-register Office 365 every time we use one of the applications?

We purchased the 5 user package and 1st and 2nd machines seem to work fine and do not require logging into the cloud to use the products, but on the third one we have to register the products every time we try to use it.  The pc having the issue is
running Win 8.1 we have 5 different profiles on this machine. Each one has to be re-registered each time we try to use an application.  We are not storing anything in the cloud because  we do not need too.  It would be good for the kids
to be able to write their school reports without having to save them on the cloud.  Our local backup system works just fine and they only have the computer to use - no phones, pads, etc that they need to access stuff on.
We contacted the office store support who told us that we did not need to login if all of our documents were stored locally.  We specifically asked if all user with profiles on the machine were allowed to use the applications and they assured us that
    Yes they could use them.
The person who owns the subscription is not always home to login for us to re-register the product and get the special code on her cell to fix the applications so we can use them.
So what do we need to do to fix (remove) this irritating feature of Office 365? Is their a registry setting we can put in to bypass this?

  • Synchronization office 365 and windows 8.1 mail app fails

    Hello all,
I have a Dell XPS duo ultrabook with Windows 8.1 enterprise. The laptop is part of a domain. We use Office 365 for our mail-environment. Office 365 works perfect in a browser, but I want to ad that work-mail account to the mail app in windows. Connecting
works fine, but the synchronization fails. I get the following error:
"If you xxxxxx want to synchronize, the settings of this PC should match the security policy of the email-server. Upgrade your Windows-useraccount to an administrator-account".
This is ofcourse not an option, but how do I solve this?
Btw the mail app works fine with a hotmailaccount.

  • Office 365 Customers: General Availability for Access Apps

The news hit last month that Access Apps would be available for all Office 365 customers, well now we can all move full speed ahead. So, what does general availability mean? Customers can now create, share, and use the Access Apps with the same level of full
guarantee as the rest of Office 365. Prior to the announcement, the Access Apps were not under the Office 365 service-level agreement (SLA) and were available only under preview.

    Hi,
I find the content which you mentioned above is talking about from the blog:
    http://blogs.office.com/2014/02/03/access-apps-general-availability-for-office-365-customers/
Access apps are databases that run in the cloud on most browsers, if you need to know more information, please wait for the blog update.

  • Outlook Calendar 2013/ Office 365 - Best Practice Sharing an Outlook Calendar with others

I am being asked to share user calendars with several users. Would anyone have a recommendation or know the best practice on doing this? I know of two options.  Normally I would have used the option in Outlook to add delegates. I was working on
another issue and someone showed me how you can right click on the users name in Calendar and choose properties and then click the permissions tab. The second option changes permissions just for Calendar. Using the delegate option, inbox permissions
can be granted also. Is one of these options better than the other?  Thanks

    Hi,
There are a few differences between Sharing and Delegation in Outlook. The most important thing is that delegates are people who are allowed to send on behalf of you while sharing is just that you share your folders with others.
There is a general setting in the main Delegates dialog to control whether or not you will still receive these messages yourself as well.
In addition, you can also control whether or not a delegate will receive these messages on a per-delegate basis. This cannot be done by just sharing your Calendar.
Besides, delegate permissions are also required when you want to grant your colleague the permission to see items which are marked as Private. However, there is no way to grant this permission on a per-folder basis.
For more information about this, you can have a look at this:

  • Office 365 group email attachment in outlook for desktop

    Hello,
I am wondering is there is a way to send an email to a o365 group and attach a file to it so that the file gets uploaded automatically to one drive. Basically I would like to have this functionality outside OWA. Is there any way to achieve this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
There is no such feature in Outlook for desktop version that can be used to achieve the goal. I'd recommend you post your question in the Script Center forum to see if this can be achieved via coding:

  • Downloaded Microsoft Office 365.  Wanted to use files originally done on Windows Word to my Ipad word app.  How do I get documents from a Windows source--even through someting like dropbox--into my i pad so I can work on them?

How can I use document such as word or excell docs from my home windows based computer  in my office 364 ipad word or excell app that I downloaded for my ipad...   any suggestions out there?.

I presume you have already downloaded the free M.S. office apps to use with your 365 subscription?   (Even if you haven't there are several other apps that will read these as well - )
You can get the documents onto your pad several different ways.
    1. easiest for a single document is to simply e mail to your self.  In mail, tap the attachement once to cause it to down load.  then touch and hold the attachment until the 'open in ' box pops up, and choose the app you want to se.  The document will be saved with that app.
for a loy of docs, it is easier to use the sharing system in I tunes, at the very bottom of the app tab.  Drag and drop the docs you want to move back and forth.
Or use the clound.  Dropbox works fine.  Get the app in the store.
To send them back out - reverse the process.

Web App?   Does anyone know how this was enabled?  I would like to make this work for MS Excel but have never been able to make it work using the Excel Desktop App (only with the Web App).

    ncAllie,
    This feature is call "Co-Authoring".
Require Check Out shouldn't enabled and version turn on, with permission will allow multiple user to edit same word/ppt/one-note in their respective zone.
As per I know, excel client app don't support co-authoring(as you observed too), but OWA does

  • Office 365 - Importing PST Files

Hi there, going round in circles over this issue.
Firstly, I know of two ways to import our .PST files to our newly setup office 365 accounts (assume this uses exchange 2013??).  The first is using the tool PST Capture - This gives me the same (unresolved) issue posted in other topics - where it cannot
see any mailboxes on the server to import too.
The second is manually in powershell.  I have zero experience prior to spending all day yesterday researching online how to make the transfer .
I have managed to get as far as connecting to our exchange server.  However I am unable to run the command I believe needed to do the import (new-mailboximportrequest).
I have added myself to the role of "Mailbox Import Export" but despite this I still cannot see it in the list of available commands.
    Can anybody help?

  • Office 365 setup help.

    Hello
How do we setup Office 365?
I tapped on setup and in the list of email servers, I selected Hotmail and put up the credential. Like in NOKIA Faq it asks to sign using outlook but I did it with hotmail. Is it okay? It still shows up option to setup if I tap Office 365 option in 'places.'
Before this I had already setup Email and accounts and using skydrive, but not office 365.
    Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Creaturebot,
Here is the instruction on how you can setup the Office 365 on your phone.
To configure an Office 365 account:
    1. First select the Office Hub and swipe over to Locations.
    2. Tap Office 365 and select Setup.
    3. Choose a new Outlook account.
    4. Fill in the account credentials (Office 365 email address and password).
    5. Once your email set up is complete, press Finish. Then the SharePoint site is automatically added to the locations panel.
    6. Tap Team site, fill in a separate authentication to access your company SharePoint.

  • Outlook 2013 Not Responding and Offline Address Book Issues with Office 365

Around 3 months ago I setup a small business with Office 365 for email. They have 10 PCs, all running newly installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, eight with Office 2013 and two with Office 2010. All are connected to a local domain (Server Essentials
2012) with a single internet connection through a new TP-LINK router. Each user logs into their own PC only.
The network runs perfectly, internet connection is good but there seems to be RANDOM, INTERMITTENT issues with email not being SENT from Outlook every so often. Email will sit in the outbox for up to an hour sometimes before, eventually, being sent. Incoming
email seems ok, although this is more difficult to tell. At others times, email will be sent instantly - the size of the message and any attachments makes no difference.
The issue has happened at some point on every one of the PCs but no particular PC/user seems worse than any other. When email is stuck on one user's PC it can still be sent ok by other users at the same time - so the internet connection is not down. Users can
can always login to the OWA service ok and iPhones etc. all sync ok even when email is stuck in the Outbox.
To debug the issue I have worked on one particular user's PC and carried out the following changes -
    Changes that made no difference
I have checked the router. A SPI firewall is available on the router but this is switched off.
I have changed the MTU on the router with no effect.
There are no unsual add-ins to Outlook
Outgoing email virus scanning is disabled
Outlook is NOT integrated with Lync
The OST file is around 1.7 GBytes is size.
I have recreated the Outlook profile twice but this made no difference
Switched OFF "Cached Exchange Mode" - this made things worse !
The Outlook address book is set to \Offline Global Address List
I have disabled with Windows firewall on the client PC - no change
I have adjusted the KeepAliveTime for packets in the registry of the PC to 20 minutes
Changes that reduced the frequency of "Not Responding"
I have changed the Outlook automatic Send/Receive time from 30 to 10 minutes - this seemed to help
    Possible Related Problem
I have attempted to download the offline address book manually - this hangs at "Copying offline address book template file" in the Send/Receive dialog and there a NO OAB files in the data file location on the PC.
So the only measure that has so far "helped" has been the Outlook Send/Receive time change - now set to 10 minutes. Even so, Outlook will occasionally go "Not Responding" for 30 minutes or more (no windows active - only option
is to close and reopen Outlook).
There does seem to be a problem with the Offline Address book. I can download this ok for this user on my home PC (Outlook 2010) but this will not download manually on the work pc with Outlook 2013 (despite following all the debug steps above).
On work PC I can see literally hundreds of "Schannel" errors in the Windows System event logs -
    Error - Event 36888 Schannel
The following fatal error was generated :10
The internal error state is 10
These errors occur every 2-4 minutes continually all the time Outlook is running. When Outlook is closed the "Schannel" errors stop !
Can anyone suggest what else to try, please ?
I have already investigated this issue on the Office 365 Community Forum, and the Outlook forum and they suggested that it was a client (i.e Outlook) issue and that I should post here for further information.
    Thanks for reading !

    An update to this problem.
I brought one of the office PCs back to my home network and connected it up there. With no changes to the PC I was immediately able to download the Offline Address Book without errors.
This suggests to me that there must be some problem with the internet connection or router setup in the office environment.
The router is a TP-LINK W8970. The internet connection is PPPoA. I have seen some suggestion that an SPI firewall can cause issues. This router has an SPI firewall but this feature is disabled on the router.
While investigating this issue I have frequently been connected remotely to an office PC - sometimes for up to an hour or more. During these periods I have not experienced any connection dropouts so the actual internet connection seems to be ok (i.e. it is
    not dropping out).
However, something seems to be preventing the Outlook client from connecting properly with the Office 365 Exchange server in the office environment - or something is dropping the connection to Outlook. Does anyone know of any router settings that might affect
    this ?
I could try changing the office router but I do not have a spare available. Can anyone suggest a reasonably low cost, currenbtly available router that they know definitely works in the Office 365 environment so that I could buy this for test purposes ?
