SG500-x-48P : system led continue to flash in green after more 10mn because we had a electricy shutdown in our society

hello all,
this morning electricity shutdown in our society. 40mn of no power.
After electricy back in the office, one of my SG500-X have system led still flashing and no connection. All leds hhave flashed at beginning for 1 second after nothing is green on on the switch.
i don't think it's normal because my other sg500-x in 2nd floor had reboot very fast and it's ok
Why can be mean system led flashing in continous in green?
Thanks to all for your help

I haven't the faintest idea. I only use DV, HDV and XDCAM-EX/HD and have never tried it with any (RED) 4K material. I assume it should be sufficient to handle that. But let's be honest, when I increased my raid array from 10 to 12 disks, I did not notice ANY performance gains. The limiting factor must be the PCI-e bus or the Areca controller, that just does not show any improvements from adding a couple of disks. Another thing to consider is that the various benchmark programs widely in use show quite different results.
As an example, here are two images from HD Tune Pro, one for my 2 disk raid0 on the Marvell chip and the other from my 12 disk raid30 array. First of all, HD Tune shows the wrong size, it is not 2199 GB but should be 10000 GB (at least that is what Areca claims as shown in the last picture), second it ONLY performs at around 745 MB/s transfer rate.
The most noteworthy item to look at is the rapid performance degradation of this raid0 when the disks get fuller. An average transfer rate of 165 MB/s is quite acceptable for a 2 disk setup, but seeing it go down to below 100 MB/s when the disks fill up is bothersome. It will not allow you to handle uncompressed HD at all.

  • SG 200-08 All LED lights flashing green after power failure

Thinking back, about a month ago I updated the firmware (sorry I can't check version at the moment). The switch has been working fine since then. Today I needed to move some power cables and the switch lost power. Now ALL of the LED lights are flashing green and I can't access the switch. I've tried setting a static IP on my laptop to 192.168.1.20, mask 255.255.255.0, and accessing the switch on 192.168.1.254, but there's no response. I've tried holding in the reset button for at least 30 seconds while the switch is powered on, AND while powering it on. None of that has worked. Also when I first power it on, the system LED flashes orange very quickly for a second or so, then all of the LEDS start flashing green.
    What am I missing?

Its been a few months, so I don't remember the details, but I think it was a combination of using the reset button and then opening a browser to the default IP address. If you look at the screenshot I posted it has the IP address I used. I downloaded the firmware again and the webpage in the screenshot is where the router is asking me for the location of the firmware I downloaded. After it finished reloading the firmware it worked again.

  • SG300-28P: System LED not on. everything else working.

    Hi Everyone,
    Nice to meet you all.
I received an used SG300-28P today and immediately I found its System LED never lits. I upgraded the firmware to the latests but did not make any difference. So far I have configured the switch for my environment and everything is working fine including VLAN, L3 routing and PoE works on all ports.
I am puzzled, not sure what's wrong with it. In the System Summary of the Web GUI it indicates the System LED is constantly on. But the physical one is just dead (never lits including boot)
I hope its just the LED itself, the switch is definately out of warranty. What diagnostics can I run myself to understand it?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello Siming,
If everything is working properly on the switch, then you shouldn't be worried about the system led. The system led itself is simply not working.
This is the information you need to know about the system led:
Off - If the system led is off, it means the switch is not powered on (which in your case is false, since you told us the switch is working as it should, so that means you have a faulty led)
Green - If the system led is green, it means the switch working normally. If the system led is green and it flashes constantly, it means the switch is using the factory default IP address (192.168.1.254) to access to the switch. If it is solid green, it means that the switch has either an IP assigned via DHCP, or statically by the administrator.
Amber - If the system led is amber, it means there is a problem with the switch
As you can see, you won't be able to get information about the system led when is green or amber, since it is not working.
I would suggest that you properly configure system logs on the switch, perform constantly backups to the running/startup configuration, and keep track of which IP address you are using to access the switch GUI/CLI, that way if you forget your IP address, or if there is a problem with the switch, you know where to find the correct information.

  • K9AGM3-FIH power LED is still flashing

    Hi all,
I have K9AGM3-FIH motherboard (BIOS updated to 1.1). I have 2x1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM, 1x320GB SATA2 HDD, AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+ EE, internal USB memory card reader, DVD-RW drive...that's all...so not a power hog system. I have 350W PSU, but when I powerup the PC, the POWER LED is still flashing in 1 second intervals... (0.5s ON and 0.5s off). The system is running normally. I've successfully installed Windows Vista and all the apps. It's flashing even when I am in BIOS. What can be bad, if the system is running fine?????
    Thanks.

It's not connected to HDD LED pins is it?

  • K7N2 Power LED + D bracket Flashing

    Hi there
Ive been using the K7N2 Motherboard for over 12months now, today i was putting some memory back in the system (temporarily stole it for another system) since then when i try to boot i just get a flashing Powerbutton and D Bracket LEDs all flash LED 1 + 2 flash Red while 3 + 4 flash Green, there is no POST, the power button will not switch the system off, the only method to turn it off is to unplug the power lead.
i read in the manual that this LED configuration could mean either CPU Damage or Or a problem initializing the HD Controller. I suspect the former but am a little Unsure due to the Flashing LEDs.
Can any of you let me know if this means anything to you as id much appriciate the advice and it will save me testing everything
    Thanx in advance
    DaveT

After further investigation, ive found that occasionally when i try to power on the D Bracket will tell me that my memory is not installed correctly or is faulty, i cant help but think the problem is elswhere tho due to the randomness of which error occurs.
    any suggestions

  • Blackberry LED light keeps flashing red

Yesterday Vodacom Care gave me a new Q5 device - i had a Q5 for 2 months and the phone just went dead - so they replaced  it . Now  my Q5 LED light keeps flashing red and it's a NEW PHONE ??? - make it stop please !

    Hello,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Follow the steps below to try and bring the BlackBerry Q5 back to life:
Ensure that BlackBerry Link is installed on the PC or Mac OS
Ensure the computer has an internet connection.
    Launch the BlackBerry Link Software.
Note: A backup of the BlackBerry device should be tried before a reload.
Turn off the BlackBerry device. Make sure there are no flashing LEDs and that the LCD is not still being lit by the backlight. If there are any flashing LEDs, hold the power button for 15 seconds until the LEDs stop.
Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer.
When prompted with Cannot communicate with device, click Restore and then click yes allow the update to be downloaded and installed on the BlackBerry device.
If the restore button is not seen press the vertical dots in the lower right corner of BlackBerry Link and select disconnected device.  Highlight the disconnected device you are working with and attempt steps 4 to 6 again.
If the issue still persists, then I suggest contacting your network service provider for repair options.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • My iPhone is not receiving mail but these messages continue to flash at the bottom of the screen:  Checking for messages, Updated just now, checking for messages, etc.  After a minute or so it will flash downloading 1 - 32 messages but nothing is received

My iPhone is not receiving mail but the following messages continue to flash over and over at the bottom of the screen:  "Checking for messages, Updated just now, Checking for messages", etc.  After a minute or so it will flash downloading 1 - 32 messages but nothing is received and then the "Checking for Messages," etc. starts back again.   I turned the phone off for 30+ minutes and also tried to reset it, but the problem continues.   Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.

  • NB100 Wireless WAN System-LED

If I press Fn+Wireless WAN Key, t he WAN SYSTEM LED is not visible. Is this quite usual? The
bluetooth sign shines red. Is it necessary that the WAN Key shines green if I will conect to my w-lan router?

Hi. New to the forum. Brought an NB 100 one week ago (Windows XP) .
Have had no problem for one week connecting wireless. I still have the orange light and wireless is showing as activated however it will not connect. All other computers connecting as usual. Any ideas? Nothing has changed.
Should I just take it back to the shop and get another one as I brought it specifically for travelling and working away?
    Thanks.

  • Can anyone tell me if PSE7 is compatable on Windows Vista 64bit?  I'm trying to prevent my system from continually crashing.

Can anyone tell me if PSE7 is compatable with Windows Vista 64bit?  I'm trying to prevent my system from continually crashing.

This has been answered many times before, but my 2 cts for what it is worth...
I have a new PC with Vista Home Premium 64 bit, 6 GB memory, two disks, quad processor, MS Office Small Business, etc. I made a backup on my old machine to a USB disk of my 40 GB of pictures managed with PSE-7. I then installed PCE-7 on the new 64 bit machine and did a restore of the pictures. All worked first time without the slightest problem. I also installed much other software also without doing anything special concerning the 64 bits and without any problems.
Two other points possibly of interest:
    - One can deal with iTunes loosing access to playlist items by exporting the playlists into an XML file and making a global edit of the file path names if the data strutcture on the new machine is different. One then imports the corrected XML.
    - I bought a 2560*1600 30 inch NEC display and viewing good-quality digital pictues is amazing. The first time I have found an output device with resolution better than a tiny fraction of what is in the picture files. Colours are also excellent.

  • Battery Indicator continues to Flash at 99%

I have an HP Pavilion dv5237cl notebook computer.  The notebook battery indicator continues to flash even though the battery charge percentage is 99%.  Does anybody know why this is happening?

    alex349 wrote:
Ever since I installed Leopard a month ago the battery menu icon has been behaving oddly. When the battery is charged to 99% the icon switches to the "charged" icon from the "charging" icon. The power adapter still glows orange AND the time shown in the battery menu says "Calculating time until full", not even the time it had just a percentage ago. A screenshot is below:
    http://alex.clst.org/macsites/images/batterymenu.png
This has to be the OS, not the battery because it never did this in Tiger. When I run on battery it gets the same 3 hours and 55 minutes it did under Tiger with normal use. Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks, Alex.
    Have you re-calibrated the battery?
    Then there is PRAM
And of course, the .plist file
If it were Leopard, would I not have the same experience?

  • System identifier button is flashing yellow

Yesterday I updated my Xserve 10.5.1 system with the Mac OS X 10.5.2 and Security Update 2008-001
The server updated, restarted had no issues, it seemed happy. This morning when I arrived to work the server was down. When I went to check it out the system identifier button was flashing yellow, and the system was stuck in the boot up mode (apple icon and the swirly pinwheel) I restarted the system hoping this would resolve the issue, but that did nothing. Tomorrow I am going to try to use the diagnostic tools from the CD to see if I can isolate the issue which I’m guessing is some kinda hardware of software conflict.
Has anyone else had this issue after updating, or have any suggestions?
I’m a very new to this server admin task so if any veterans have some feedback it would be greatly appreciate.
    Thanks,

Yes the yellow light is indicating a hardware issue, I don't have access to my server monitor. The server appears to be rebooting itself in a loop. Has anyone had any experiences like this?
