Sgfxi "libgl" dependency errors

I just reinstalled my nvidia drivers with the sgfxi script. I am not getting dependency errors for libgl and lib32-libgl.
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'cairo-infinality-ultimate'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'freeglut'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'glu'
missing 'lib32-libgl' dependency for 'lib32-cairo-infinality-ultimate'
missing 'lib32-libgl' dependency for 'lib32-glu'
missing 'lib32-libgl' dependency for 'lib32-qt4'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'libva'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'mesa-demos'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'mplayer'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'qt4'
missing 'libgl' dependency for 'xorg-xdriinfo'
I tried installing libgl and lib32-libgl but I get these errors:
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
mesa-libgl: /usr/lib/libGL.so exists in filesystem
mesa-libgl: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 exists in filesystem
mesa-libgl: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so exists in filesystem
lib32-mesa-libgl: /usr/lib32/libGL.so exists in filesystem
lib32-mesa-libgl: /usr/lib32/libGL.so.1 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
I also have no idea which libgl provider to select as I am presented with 3 choices:
1) mesa-libgl 2) nvidia-304xx-utils 3) nvidia-libgl
I am sure this is an easy fix but I don't want to mess it up or --force anything
Any help is appreciated!

I am still working on the issue. But here are my findings. I am stuck up with Basis team to deploy the missing Jar files.
I had created a GP webdynpro application in EP7 SP6. When we moved to SP11, I copied the same application from SP6 track to SP11 track. Then I got the error upon deployment. Now the catch here is the way GP related Interfaces and classes are used in SP7 and above.
The changes can be summarized as follows:
1. You need to reference to DC caf/eu/gp/api but instead of using the Public Part
default you need to use Public Part external
2. All published Interfaces now start with the prefix IGP
3. All published Classes now start with the prefix GP
Please go through the document "Implementing a Web Dynpro Callable Object which Implements the GP Interface" on SDN.
For illegal dependency issue, if the DC has already been added then you get this error. If required, remove the used DC and add it again.
Also ensure that the DCs that you are adding as Used DC in your application are deployed on the J2EE engine.If not deploy them through SDM.
My development configuration contains the following DCs:
- caf/eu/gp/api(PP - External)
- caf/eu/gp/api/wd(PP - GPWebDynproCO)
- com.sap.exception
- com.sap.security.api.sda
- tc/logging

Missing dependency error while installing kernel-2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 and yum-utils package

Hi Experts,
I'm not able to install the kernel in Oracle Linux using "Yum install". I'm getting error's while installing Kernel. The Kernel version is 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 (in the linux CD of virtual box) Can you please guide me how to proceed further.
I used the commands below :

yum install kernel-2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64

You cannot use the yum utility to do a major version upgrade, such as upgrading from Oracle Linux 5 to Oracle Linux 6. Kernel version 2.6.32-358.el6 is the RHCK kernel and requires Oracle Linux 6. So if your attempt was to install a driver that works only for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 kernel, you will have to upgrade the OS first. For this you must start from the OL6 installation DVD, but upgrading between major release versions is not officially supported. You can however upgrade to the latest Oracle UEK kernel, by enabling the appropriate channel in the yum repository configuration file.

Dependancy error

Dear All,
1. I am using Oracle 9iR2 Standard Edition on RedHat9
2. I installed only database server without client
3. I complied php-4.2.2-src.rpm with parameter
--with-oci8=shared,$ORACLE_HOME
4. I configured ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID in /etc/profile
5. After compilation I got php-oci8-4.2.2.rpm
6. After updating PHP I got --with-oci8 parameter in
phpconf()
7. When trying to install php-oci rpm I got dependancy
error libclntsh.so required.
8. I searched this file and found in $ORACLE_HOME/lib
9. I tried to install with --nodeps flag, but the end
result is getting error in oci_logon
10. I edit /etc/ld.so.conf with $ORACLE_HOME/lib and
run ldconfig, still getting libclntsh.so dependancy
error
Will anybody help me to solve the above problem or provide me any other solution to connect oracle and php

[SOLVED] Pacman Dependency error with nouveau-dri and libgl

I am upgrading my system with
sudo pacman -Syu
The out put is as follows:

It seems that the newest libgl is 7.10.2-1, while the newest nouveau-dri(7.10.1-2) requires 7.10.1-1. An upgrade operation will upgrade the libgl from 7.10.1-1 to 7.10.2-1, which result in a conflict with nouveau-dri.
Is there any workaround? Do I have to wait for the nouveau-dri update?

I do not think I missed anything installing NW CE 7.1, but this error makes me think that some plug-in was erroneously left out of the install.
Incidentally, I can continue onward and build an app (this is obviously a tutorial), but when I try to deploy I get the following error:

Further developments: As you may note from the error message, DS is looking for com.sap.ide.metamodel.core.services.eclipse in both the C: and the E: drive at the same time. In fact, this file exists in the E: drive subdirectory listed, so I obviously have an error with two drive designations being concatenated. Does anyone know how I can change the lookup directory for this dependency (or any dependency)?

I guess it was a patching problem in NWDS as entire code was not checked in at one go....
I did explicitly "Added to DTR" all the missing files.

Illegal dependency error while adding used DC

I am trying to develop a custom web dynpro in NWDI environment. I am trying to add used DC in the new project like these two. 1. pcui_gp/xssfpm and 2.pcui_gp/xssutils
I am getting the error message like the below.
illegal dependency: the compartment domain.com_SAPMSSCC_1 of DC domain.com/testbsp(domain.com_SAPMSSCC_1) must explicitly use compartment sap.com_SAPPCUI_GP_1 of DC
Can any one help me what could be the reason and how to resolve this?

And then check the DC level dependency in the dcdef files.
Please note
1. The DC whis is being used should be exposed as public part
2. The using DC shoud explicitly mention its decpendency on the used DC in its dcdef file.

NOW, I have deployed the sapjra.ra file as per the Note 861752 - basic JRA setup. I used the sapjra.rar that came with the JAVA AS install - I thought there may have been a different one that came with the XMII install, but I haven't been able to find it if it exists. Also, I couldn't find a description of what specific values (if any) are required for XMII or other Composites - things like the deployment name and so on. Are there any such specific values ?

Hi,
I having the following error when doing full system upgrade.

:: vhba-module: requires kernel26<2.6.32
I don't think my system needs broadcom com wireless drivers. So I can remove it. But what about vhba-module? Has anyone else faced this issue when upgrading?

[SOLVED]Installing steam in optimus and lib32-libgl dependency problem

Hello everyone!
I have a problem concerning the installation of steam under arch_64 on a laptop with Optimus. I have succesfully installed Bumblebee with Nvidia 319.17-2, everything works fine. I have also installed lib32-nvidia-utils which is version 319.17-1. Now I try to install steam:

The problem arises at this point:
1) I am using nvidia, so I can't use mesa.
2) I have installed driver 319.17 with the corresponding util package, so not this one.
3) I guess this is the answer. But since I am using bumblebee, I checked the wiki page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bumblebee) and under section 2.1 there is a note:
Note: Do not install lib32-nvidia-libgl! Bumblebee will find the correct lib32 nvidia libs without it.
This leaves me confused. What am I supposed to do at this point? Is it a problem on Bumblebee's part? Or since lib-32-nvidia-304xx-utils is legacy now, shouldn't the dependency be updated to include the latest nvidia-utils package 319.17-1? Or am I missing something?
Any kind of insight will be deeply appreciated.
NOTE: Just before submitting this post, I learned that there was Optimus support in the beta release of this driver, but in the release notes of the released version contains nothing about Optimus

I have pretty much the same problem.
I went for lib32-mesa-libgl and uninstalled lib32-nvidia-libgl. Problem was that Steam did not find libgl.so so i had to install lib32-intel-dri too.
Now steam works but i cannot use the nvidia GPU..... if i set launch options to "primusrun %command%" then dota2 does not launch.
optirun glxgears works.
primusrun glxgears works.
Even all CUDA examples work.
what could be the problem?

Dependency error when installing OEPE on Eclipse Ganymede

Hello,
I am using an Eclipse Ganymede J2EE with all the current updates applied.
The version number eclipse is showing is
Version: 3.4.2
Build id: M20090211-1700
When I try to install OEPE from the ganymede update site, I get the following error:
"Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements org.eclipse.ui [3.4.2.M20090204-0800]."
How can I install OEPE?

I have tried the update with a fresh Ganymede SR2(3.4.2) install and did not notice any issues. I wonder if there is a conflict between the plugins you currently have installed and OEPE 1.1
could you list the additional plugin versions you have installed along with the list of update site which are checked, I will try replicate locally.
could you also try downlaoding the product plugin zip from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oepe/oepe_11g.html and extracting the contents to the dropins folder in your eclipse installation ?

How to remove gnome without dependency errors?

I'm a little frustrated with pacman right now.
I downloaded gnome, thinking I wanted it. I don't. So I went to remove the two things I installed with pacman: gnome and gnome-extra. But I can't, because the other packages that came with them depend on others within gnome. I don't care, though - I want ALL of gnome removed. Short of manually removing each dependency tree, which takes FOREVER, how can I easily get rid of this plague on my system? pacman -Rs gnome doesn't work, and I don't know what else to do.

REMOVE OPTIONS
-c, --cascade
Remove all target packages, as well as all packages that depend
on one or more target packages. This operation is recursive.
-k, --keep
Removes the database entry only. Leaves all files in place.
-n, --nosave
Instructs pacman to ignore file backup designations. Normally,
when a file is removed from the system the database is checked
to see if the file should be renamed with a .pacsave extension.
-s, --recursive
Remove each target specified including all dependencies, pro-
vided that (A) they are not required by other packages; and (B)
they were not explicitly installed by the user. This option is
analogous to a backwards --sync operation.

Element-dependent error on collections

Hello,
     I either don't understand what element-dependent is meant to do, or
there's a bug here.
Let's say we have PC A.
PC A has two collections, one for active objects, one for history objects.
When an active object is complete, the active object gets removed from
the active object collection and put in the history object collection.
What I want to do is have both collections and their contained objects
deleted when A is deleted. I tried setting both collection fields to
element-dependent. However, when I do this, as soon as I remove an
object from the active collection it gets deleted. Even if I add the
object to the history collection first, it still gets deleted once
removed from the active.
My understanding of element-dependent is that it removes the contained
objects in a collection when the PC is deleted. I don't see how this
implies that the object should be deleted when it is a removed from a
collection (and the PC is still active).
Can someone please tell me if I'm misunderstanding something here, or if
it's a bug in Kodo?

Setting the active to element-dependent = "false" fixes the deletion
problem, so I know this is the cause. However, I want both collections
