Hi,
I have to module WS-X6148-GE-TX and I have to message "dot3StatsSymbolErrors" with error. I see my server giga, but I not have menu for modify parameter of reception...
Any know this problem ?

Is the same that undersize for interface 10/100 ? . So the frames received that are smaller than the minimum IEEE 802.3 frame size of 64 bytes and for Gigaethernet smaller than frame size of 518 bytes.

For an interface operating at 100 Mb per second, the number of times there was an invalid data symbol when a valid carrier was present.
For an interface operating in half-duplex mode at 1000 Mb per second, the number of times the receiving media is non-idle (a carrier event) for a period of time equal to or greater than slotTime, and during which there was at least one occurrence of an event that causes the PHY to indicate 'Data reception error' or 'carrier extend error' on the GMII.
For an interface operating in full-duplex mode at 1000 Mb per second, the number of times the receiving media is non-idle (a carrier event) for a period of time equal to or greater than minFrameSize, and during which there was at least one occurrence of an event that causes the PHY to indicate 'Data reception error' on the GMII.
The count represented by an instance of this object is incremented at most once per carrier event, even if multiple symbol errors occur during the carrier event. This count does not increment if a collision is present.
Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at reinitialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime.

Dynamic setting of line count and footer in classical report

In classical report,we can set line count and footer at the beginning of the report as Line-count 6(2), here out of 6 lines 4 lines is for content and 2 lines is for footer (assume no standard heading), but if my report produces less content than 4 say 3 at run time ,then footer will not be displayed .Here again i have to set line count and footer as 5(2) in order to get the footer to be displayed ,so How can i achieve dynamic setting of the line count and footer,

Hi all,
May i know about line size and line count impact on reports ?
i mean depending on line sizes values i.e 200 etc hw it will effect report either in output display or length ?
and also ablout line count too.

This addition specifies the line width of the basic list and details list of the program to width characters, and sets the system field sy-linsz to this value. The line width determines the number of characters in the line buffer as well as the number of columns in the list displayed. The value width must be a positive numeric literal. The maximum line width is 1,023 characters.
When the LINE-SIZE is not specified, the line width of the basic list is set to a standard width based on the window width of the current Dynpro, but is at least as wide as a standard size SAP window. For the standard width, the contents of sy-linsz is 0. The LINE-SIZE overwrites the value of the like-named LINE-SIZE addition to the statement SUBMIT and can be overwritten during list creation with the like-named LINE-SIZE addition to the statement NEW-PAGE.

This addition specifies the page length for the basic list of the program to page_lines lines and fills the system field sy-linct with this value. Notes
For screen lists, you should use the standard value since, as a rule, page breaks defaulted through LINE-COUNT are not adjusted to the window size.
You should also use the standard value for print lists, so that you can still select the page size on a printer-specific basis. A print list should be created in such a way so that it can handle every page size.
Specifying a fixed line count is only useful for form-type lists with a fixed page layout. Here, however, you should always check whether such forms can be created by other means, such as SAPScript forms.

how can i count empty line in a text file which has the data?
suppose the text file with data is as follows:

How do I use the counter and digital signals of the 6071E while it is connected to SCXI modules?

I am contemplating using a PCI 6071E with SCXI. We have the boards (6071E), we would need the cable (I suppose SH1006868) and the SCXI system. I would like to know how would you access the counter and digital line capabilities of the board. I will be using a SCXI-1314 with a SCXI-1520 Module for strain measurements but will need to use the counter and digital lines of the board as well. Can this be done? If so, how and/or what else do I need?

Hi C,
In an AppleWorks WP document, go Edit > Writing Tools > Word count. This will give you a count of characters, words, lines and paragraphs in the document or, if you have selected a portion of the document, in the selection.
To my knowledge, there's no tool to give a word frequency figure, although that could be done with some fairly easy manipulation involving a spreadsheet.
For MS Word questions, I'd suggest checking the Word section of Microsoft's Mactopia site. Try searching "count words".

Count and timestamp logging messages: disabled

Hi ,
what does this setting "Count and timestamp logging messages: disabled" mean ? in "show logging" output.
I do not see the number of message lines logged ( syslog ) increasing under the "show logging" output,
Same is the case with the numbers in "Trap logging: level notifications, xxxx message line logged"
This is happening on IOS , any idea why ?

If you do not have the time-stamp configured it would be more difficult to troubleshoot, lets explain this with an example:
-One of your interfaces went down at 13:30 your local time, you have logging enabled without the time-stamp so you go to your syslog server and you look for that problem, in that case you will need to go to all the syslog messages database ( witch might be huge and the message you are looking for could be imposible to find) so if you have timestamp enable you will go directly to the 13:30 messages and find it so much easier.
Here is another explanation I found for you:

This command causes the firewall to add a time stamp to each Syslog message before it is sent. The firewall should have its clock set and time synchronized to a known and accurate source.

Urgent: Combination of stacked bar chart and line chart

Hi,
I have the following request: First I need series depending on the year (no problem) and two stacks for each series (first problem). Now I need two line, line 1 for total of stack 1 and line 2 for total of stack 2. Both lines should have a label showing the difference from one to next series in percent.
Can something like this be done in BI Publisher. I got an excel sheet with such a chart, so it is possible there. Any templates, hints or tipps?
I need this very urgent because it's the main report of my project. So if this is not working I can stop the project and have to find another reporting tool.

I've made again some tests by myself and recognized that there's something strange in the chart.
When I create a stacked bar chart with values of DURATION, labels for TYPE_NAME and series of YEAR the first thing is, that it is not ordered. So how can this be done?
The second error, is hard to explain ...
Let's say I've the following values:

I have the need to generate a list of all outlook folders and the total number of items listed beside each folder name. I thought I could just simply duplicate line 6 of the aforementioned script

I've found a way to export a list of all these folders using exportoutlookfolders.vbs to a txt file but doesn't include total number of items.
Looking for any pointers on how to make this work. Don't expect anyone to write it for me but I am still learning PS. Would be great to find a way to import all of these folder and subfolder names into the script. Will be appreciative of any advice though.

Since I am not and administrator, but an end user, I do not have access to the Get-Mailxxxx commandlets to make this really easy and had to do this long hand.
  The following will pull folder.name, folder.items.count, and sum the total size of each folder's items for all folders and their subs.
Just one warning, the summation can take some time with a large PST file since it needs to read every email in the PST.
There is also some minor formatting added to make the results a little more readable.

Is there any report which will give me the vendor balance carried forward and the line items during that period.

thanks for the response, but i have already tried those transactions.
FK10N will give me the periodic bal statements and NOT line items display which will also have balance carried forward.
F.41 and F.43 again gives the periodic and line items...but i want the vendor balances to be in the format given above..
like say, account statement.

G/L Balance and Line items difference

Dear Mates,
We have a Inventory-Spare Parts G/L account
When i see the FS10N g/l balances ,there is a figure appearing as 25,82,887/- in the period February and when i double click on the above said figure to see the line items whose total comes to 30,89,627/- with doc.type: WA.
Can please tell me ,what could be reason for the difference between Balance appearing on the initial screen and line items total.
Please treat it very urgent as auditors are sitting on my head.

First let me know the SAP R/3 version and fiscal year.
In the mean time, you can also check any changes has been made to your GL account master data related to line item display.

This report S_ALR_87012247 - Customer Balances and Line Items in Local Currency is not displaying line items for customers in ECC6. Is there any configuration required to get the line items? Please help

If you see this report S_ALR_87009950, you will get
Opening Balance at the start of fiscal year
Debits and Credit during the reporting period
and the Cumulative Balance.
Please note the above report will not give you line item details.
S_ALR_87012247 report is specifically for poland, in the description it is mentioned that the line items will be displayed, unfortunately, for other countries, there are no line items visible. Therefore, you may explore the possibility of copying this report and changing the code in order to bring the line items along with the totals.

Gr Ir Assignment Updation with PO and Line Item

In the GL for GR IR Account the sort key was not maintained with PO number due to which the assigment field in the line item was getting updated with the posting date and not with the PO & LIne Item details.
We have made the requiste changes and new items are getting updated properly.
But require assitance in updating the earlier line items.
As of date total line items are more than 0.15 mn.
Please suggest some method to automatically update the assigment field of the GR IR Line items with the PO Details.

Hi,
You can use a substitution to update the field through FI. Use GGB4 for wirting a substitution you may need some ABAP coding to substitute PO no and line items in the assignment field. rule would be Co code =XXX and GL account =xxx and Posting date earlier than =xxxx then concatenrate EBELN and EBELP in Assigment field Zounr.
Then execute FBL3N and edit the assignment field by selecting all the documents and then save it you should see the PO line items populated. You can leave the substitution on or you can remove it after updating,
