Using iPad air, iPod, iCLoud and WinPro 7 - I am not finding all my tunes and movies among all these devices.

When I orignally installed iTunes current update, and tried to move about the devices iTunes would crash. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. It seems to be stable, however as before I am not finding all of my TUnes and Movies on all my devices.

From what I understand, it sounds like after uninstalling and reinstalling your iTunes as a troubleshooting step, you're now missing some of your media? I would troubleshoot the issue with the steps in here:

HT2729 why cant I not see my movies on all my devices?

Hallo - I have alot of products from Apple, I would like to ask: why can I not see my own movies on my Mac if they are stored on my MacBro? It looks loke I have two libraries! Plus I have an iPot and an iPhone!

Assuming that these are purchased movies, you have to transfer the movies to the iPod Touch and to the iPhone by syncing with the MacBook Pro and you can transfer the movie from the MBP to the iMac via home sharing. Movies already stored on one device do not sync to your other devices from iCloud.

Also, movies are not part of Automatic Downloads. Only songs, apps and books can be downloaded to all devices automatically

Sharing the movie loses all the original audio

I keep running into this and it really seems like it's a major flaw in iMovie. I am importing video from my Supacam DV6, and the clips are imported in MPEG-4 format. Once I'm done with the project, I go to Share it and regardless of what options I choose, I can never hear audio from any clip beyond the first one. It's like the audio transition never kicks in. I laid down a soundtrack and that plays the entire length of the movie. I made a movie with no soundtrack, still no luck.
Anyone have any suggestions for what else I can try?

I am actually running 10.3.9 (sorry). I have Quicktime 6.5.2. I really do not want to upgrade to 7 because I bought QT 6.5 and would have to re-buy 7.
I think I have found a work around for it. I just extracted the audio from all the clips, and didn't do anything with it. Then I tried to export it again and it works fine.
So it looks like extracting the audio does the trick. Is this correct behavior, or is this still a bug in iMovie? Either way, I'm psyched it works.

My icloud email messages disappear on all my devices after about a week and I cannot locate them - not in archive on icloud.
I use several devices to receive emails - imac, ipad, iphone and samsung galaxy note. I put all read emails to trash on samsung, ipad and iphone but keep on imac and wish to retain there for reference. All other accounts remain but icloud emails disappear. No devices say to delete from server. Can anyone please help?

If this is your iCloud email account, whcn you delete an email from any of your devices, they are moved to the trash on all devices/computers, then the trash is automatically deleted after 30 days. That's how IMAP accounts work. You can't delete them from your device and keep it on the server because you are reading and deleting from the server itself.
If you want to keep them on your Mac, you'll need to move them to a folder rather than deleting them. When you do, they will be moved to the same folder on your other devices.

You can keep her music on a computer in addition to anything you add under your new ID. You can only have content on your mobile devices that you have either purchased from your ID or synced from your computer.

The "Sharing" part of Family Sharing refers mainly to purchased content. iCloud synced content such as Notes and contacts as well as documents is not included. While I do not know of anyway to share notes, iWorks documents can be shared directly from the app via an iCloud link.

No, the one for Mac computer is to be bought separatly from the Mac App store. Even though the same name and cooperating they work on different opeating systems.

Been and Apple user since 1977 and iCloud STINKS!!!!
Let me be clear....I spent $100-125 for MobileMe and would be very, very, very happy to continue to spend that and more for storage/backup/sharing of my files/photos/videos on iCloud.
It is now much worse than Mobile Me, yes Mobile Me was great!!
Very, very sorry that iCloud is very, very bad.
Apple has done a great job providing us with many devices to share our files and documents, but Apple's iCloud does not allow us to share/back-up/view our files.
This is sad, very, very, very sad.

Movie Problems with multiple devices

I have an IPad 2, Itouch(4th Gen) and IPhone. I have downloaded all of my movies exclusively from Itunes but only the latest movie will sync to my IPad and Iphone. The Itouch will sync all of the movies but the other devices will only sync the latest one that I downloaded last week. When I sync them it shows a checkmark but will not change the space used bar or show up on the device itself. For some reason they all sync just fine with my Itouch. Do I need to have Home Sharing or something else on? Any help would be appreciated as Apple wants to charge me to talk to someone from their support organization.

That warning occurs only if you try to create a new Apple ID using an email address already in use. An existing Apple ID can be used with mutiple devices.
What exactly did you do when you got that message?

Home Sharing Folder Empty on all client PC's on Home Network

I have Home Sharing 'on' on all my local PC's (3 of them). I can see the Shared Folder on each of my PC's in iTunes, but when I click on the folder from a non-host PC, NO songs, movies or TV Shows appear! Folder and sub folders (music, movies, TV shows, etc,) are all empty.
Home Sharing DID work just fine for a year. But sometime within the past month or two - perhaps after an iTunes "update" - it no longer works. All settings checked - "shared" my Library in Preferences, turned on Home Sharing on each PC, all are on the same simple home network. And again, the Shared Folder IS visible on each PC - there is just no content in the folder! I am offically stumped. Please help.

While the entire article provides great help, the most relevant information may be Section 5: "Check Firewall Settings":
If you have a firewall enabled in your router or computer, make sure that the firewall is not blocking communication between your computers. Home Sharing uses TCP port 3689 and UDP port 5353 to communicate with shared iTunes libraries.
In addition, Apple TV and Mac computers will use port 123 to set the time automatically. Incorrect date and time on either the computer or Apple TV can cause errors for Home Sharing and connections in general.
If you are unsure whether your router has a firewall or the required ports open, test additional devices or another network to help isolate the issue. If the devices tested work on another home network, it is your router or network configuration.
If you use another security/firewall software on your computer or router, follow this article or contact the manufacturer or check the documentation on how to open TCP ports 123 and 3689 as well as UDP ports 123 and 5353.
