I am ftp file from remote system to local using agent scheduler.
How can i copy file from remote system to local whose file name starts from particular string/character letsay "vodafone"

If you are not using " PROMT OFF " Then it will ask for your confirmation for downloading the file
(if multiple files are there it will ask confirmation for each file to download - and if you are using PROMT OFF , it will download the files without confirmation)

1. select query that you are using in your JDBC sender adapter
2.the Document Name and namespace that you have given in the JDBC adapter
3. the source datatype that you have created for your JDBC side along with the occurence of each element.

We are developing a tool which will control a copy file operation in any folder of Window Explorer base on file size limit.
If these copied files are not satisfied the file size condition (its size is larger than a predefined value), the copy/move operation must not be executed.
My question is that: "Are there any availability support of Windows API/tool for implementing this feature?"

Create book file on basis of txt file with local paths?

I would like to be able to create a book file in FrameMaker 7 or FrameMaker 9 on the basis of a .txt file reading for instance:
c:/documents/job.fm
c:/documents/15ss.fm
c:/documents/sdf/job1.fm
Preferrably I would like to be able to paste the lines into a prompt and have a script compiling the book file.
Is it possible to write a script using FrameMakers API which would do this trick? It is probably possible to use FrameScript but I am not too keen on FrameScript and would rather avoid it.
Who should one ask in order to have such a thing written?

I started using FrameMaker in release 2.x, while I was using x-roff on UNIX; x-roff used a "makefile" to create books from independent chapters, doing all the pagination, numbering, etc. I suspected that FrameMaker's book file worked like that, but it wasn't until many years later that I met someone who'd worked with FrameMaker version 1.x, who confirmed my suspicion.
Although I can't tell you how to do it, I'm certain that it can be programmed as you want, and that someone will post more information.

No file alsa-base.conf

I use the screen speakers. My screen is connected via DVI to my pc, but I have also an HDMI output from the graphic card that I don't use it.
Every time I switch on my pc, a notification pops up telling me that the system is not using HDA ATI HDMI anymore and it will start to use HDA Intel VT1828S Analog.
Looking in System Preferences>Hardware>Multimedia>Phonon, I can see that I have 8 different devices. Here you have a snapshot

How can I switch off/disable the devices I don't use them?
I have been reading in the wiki the ALSA article. My problem is that I don't have the alsa-base.conf file in /etc/modprobe.d. In fact, this folder is empty.
How can I generate it?

Firefox V3.6.9 n'affiche pas correctement le spages jeu de Facebook telles que bubble island : pas de flèches de défilement haut/bas

Utilisant depuis longtemps Firefox (V3.6.8-9) , je constate que sur certains sites tels que Facebook jeux les flèches haute/basse ne sont pas affichées empêchant d'atteindre le bas de page. Cela ne survient pas avec Opéra 10 ni IE 7 ? Cela survient sur des PC avec différentes résolutions d'affichage (1280 X 1024 32 bits) et sous XP.

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off. 
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window. 
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

Error while importing logon par file

Hi
I have to do logon page customisation for that i have taken com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak file from basis team and i saved it to my desktop .Now i have renamed it to com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par and trying to import to my NWDS.
So i opend EP perspective file->import->browsed the par file in place of Archive file name when i click on finish it is showing the error "invalid END header(bad central directory offset).
"The plugin com.sap.portal.plugins.config-archiver"caused an exception during the unpack operation.see log for more details"
Can anybody please let me know the reason for this error .

Hi,
After renaming com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak to com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par. Try opening the file with winrar/winzip to see if you have a right par file structure. On some portal versions, when you open com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file, you have again a com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file inside it.
So if you find com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file inside com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par. Then just extract it again and try importing it into NWDS.

In webutil.pll there is a function CLIENT_TEXT_IO. By using this function you can read the client text file.

Cannot copy file from desktop to media card

Whenever I try to copy a file from my desktop to my media card I get an error. When I use the desktop manager software I get the message 'one or more files cannot be copied: FILE_NAME'. When I use Windows Explorer to try the same thing I get the message 'Cannot copy FILE_NAME: parameter is incorrect'.
I do have a proper connection from the desktop to the blackberry because I can open files on the media card and update them. I just have the problem copying the files.
I have been able to copy the files from the desktop to the device memory. Then move it from the device memory to the media card. But there should be no difference between the device memory and the media card.
Note: The file I am trying to copy is a data file (.PDF). While I was having the same problem with music files, I found if I went into advanced parameters from desktop manager and specified the audio file type & bitrate I was able to copy the music file without errors.

When I try to move the files from the Finder Window with the files on the DVD, I do not get the plus sign when I try to drag it to the desktop or any other window. Even when I try with the option key pressed, there is no plus sign with the mouse arrow. Someone suggested to use the terminal and I did. It was a hassle, though.

My site distributes daily newsletters via PDF that are typically about 2MB in size. A link is provided to the PDF, and when clicked, it opens the Adobe Reader plugin within the browser (Firefox, IE) and opens the file therein.
Recently it was brought to my attention by a dialup user (they do still exist) that when he navigates back or forward in his browser's history, the PDF has to be redownloaded rather than reloaded from his browser's cache. I, with a broadband connection and some wonderful Firefox extensions (Firefox Throttle and Live HTTP Headers) confirmed this behavior.
However, a similarly sized file (2MB) of a different type (text) is cached by the browser and I can go back and forth in the history without the file having to be redownloaded. I also had success with a smaller sized PDF (70kb).
What appears to happen is this:
1) Click the link to the 2MB PDF, and it loads in the browser.
2) Click browser's back button to back to previous page in browser history.
3) Click forward button to return to PDF.
4) A request with a "Range: <byte range>" header is sent which I think requests part of the PDF file (the byte ranges).
5) The server responds with a "206 Partial Content" response code and resends some/most/all of the PDF to the browser.
What should happen (and does with other file types and smaller sized PDFs) is that the browser should make a simple request for the PDF file, and assuming the PDF hasn't been modified since the latest request for it, the server should send a "304 Not Modified" response code which instructs the browser to use what it has in cache.
I've increased my browser cache sizes dramatically to no avail. Cleared them before starting the process to no avail. Should be no problem with any browser's cache limit.
I'm using Firefox 2 and IE7. My co-worker has IE6 and Acrobat Reader 6 installed on another machine and it works fine there (PDF is cached and does not need to be redownloaded).
Help! Why aren't these larger PDF files being cached correctly, and what can we do to get them saved in the cache so our poor dialup users don't have to redownload them everytime they navigate their browser history?

Just wanted to reply with my discovery and fix. I'm not sure if it is Adobe Reader or the web browsers (I tested Firefox 2 and IE7), but they appear to request parts of large PDF files "on demand." That is, they send requests to the web server with a "Range: <byte range(s)>" header which instructs the web server to only send segments of the file. I think they use the feature of HTTP 1.1 that keeps the connection open or alive to request/send the data incrementally. While this might seem preferrable, in the case of dialup users that navigate through their browser(s) history, they should instead download the PDF in its entirety and allow the browser to cache the file. This way, when they click the link to open the PDF again (or go back/forward in their browser's history), they use what they have in their cache instead of redownloading the PDF (which in the case of dialup users is quite painful). We fixed the problem by instructing our web server to ignore/disregard byte range requests. In a nutshell, you need to have the web server issue a header: Accept-Ranges: none In Apache, you can do this on a per-file-type basis using a FilesMatch directive. In IIS (we're using 5.0), you cannot specify a file type for this behavior; you have to set it in Internet Services Manager by adding a custom header under the "HTTP Headers" tab. Personally, I prefer folks use their browser cache than repeatedly request data (PDF file in this case) from our server. To each his own I guess. Hope this helps someone.

Read data from Vector object serialized in a file issue!!

which was stored using vector of objects. Below is the detailed problem:::::

whereas the expected output should be Vector =
HELPER.This is perfectly normal behaviour if your CHelper class doesn't override the toString() method. The default toString() method in Object just prints the name of the class and a hex representation of the object's hash code.
Add a toString() method to CHelper that returns szname and you should see what you are expecting.

Perform the following steps to create a multi-file attachment in InfoPath:
Add a Repeating Table with 1 column to your InfoPath form template.
Go to the Data Source task pane and double-click the field under the repeating node for the Repeating Table.
Change the Data type to Picture or File Attachment (base 64) and click OK.
Right-click the field in the Repeating Table on the InfoPath form template, and select Change To, and then File Attachment from the context menu that appears.

Convert the signed message into base64 code in file receiver adapter

Hi,
I have 2 sequence steps in my scenario.
Step1
I want to convert the message with signed certifcates and send the file with base 64 code format.
Solu:
1.I deployed the certificate in file adapter (The corresponding key/certificate pair must previously be saved in a keystore view of the J2EE server by using the Visual Administrator)
2.for to change the File type content to base 64 code format .

File type in receiver communication channel is Binary.
please suggest what value i need to provide below

Step2.
after that i wantt to pick up the file with base 64 code format (Which was created in step 1) and place the content to field with xsd type base64 Binary .
for this we can pick up using file adapte or we need to use any module in the sender file module tab of the communication channel?
Please suggest.

As Stefan specifyed already as per my knowledge we dont have any standard procedure for all the requirements you specified.....we need to go for module in the adapter.
