Shots are all imported with sharpness +25% and brightness +50% :(

That's boring, really, a have to remember to reduce brightness every time I import photos, for example in lightroom. Is there any way to get rid of that? Maybe someone knows where these settings are coming from? Is it possible that my camera (I got lumix DMC-FZ100 - no changable lens) writes them into its raw files?

The good news: Adobe allows defaults to be based on specific ISO values.
The bad news: Defaults can not be based on ISO ranges, so those defaults don't work if you use Auto-ISO (without defining a default for every possible auto-ISO setting your camera can come up with...).
I use CollectionPreseter to assign sharpness and noise settings based on ISO ranges (among other things). J.Friedl also has a plugin that can assign settings based on ISO ranges.
This is all personal stuff. I'm "hyper-sensitive" to the sharpness masking/detail artefacts, and so almost never use it, but some people love it.
I typically down-throttle sharpness detail to control noise amplification, instead of down-throttling sharpness amount or up-throttling masking - but it really depends on the photo... (and my mood ).
Note: noise reduction is adaptive, and so it doesn't need as much variation based on ISO as you might think.
My defaults - in general:
- the higher the ISO, the less sharpening detail, and more lum. NR; and higher sharpen radius plus increased sharpening amount.
Hot tip: 1st crank up the lum. NR detail slider to restore detail lost due to lum. NR before resorting to other means (at higher ISOs anyway). lum.NR contrast has an order of magnitude less impact than the lum. NR detail.
Another hot tip: a local with -50 sharpness masks all sharpening effects without blurring - its the closest thing Lightroom has to local noise reduction.
My default sharpening amount ranges from 35 to 50, but yours may be zero - again, personal style/taste (and also depends on lens quality and shooting skill / conditions...).

When you say they are low quality, are you referring to file/pixel size, or how the picture looks? As far as upside down, how are you holding the phone? Older versions of Windows have issues reading the Metadata from the pictures and will not display the same.

I have an iMac, an iPhone, and a MacBook Pro. My full iTunes library is on the iMac and iPhone, but only a handful of songs are on my MacBook. They are all associated with the same Apple ID. When I try to sync, I get a warning message stating that I will lose songs on my phone which aren't on the laptop. How transfer my music from my phone to the laptop?

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

My BDOCs in CRM are all waiting with yellow status
I don't know why my BDOCs(transaction smw01) are all waiting with yellow status. Shouldn't they be automatically transfering data to my data source. If i manually process the BDOC then data goes to the datasource which can be seen via transaction RSA3. Help?

Question 1 : The Extraction from CRM to BW takes a very long time. What can be done? (Performance Issues)
Suggestion 1: Please implement notes 653645 (Collective note) and
639072(Parallel Processing).
The performance could be slow because of the wrong control parameters
used for packaging.
You can change the package size for the data extraction.
Also note that changing the package size in the transaction SBIW
would imply a change for all the extractors. Instead, you could
follow the path in the bw system.
Infopackage (scheduler) > Menu 'Scheduler' > 'DataS. default data
transfer' > maintain the value as 1500 or 1000(This value is variable)
The package size depends on the Resources available at the customer side
(The no of parallel processes that could be assigned =
1.5 times the no of CPU's available approx.)
Question 2 : On executing transaction RSA3 I get records but I find 0
records when I load data from BW request.(No Data Available)
Suggestion 2: First check if there are any entries in the table
CRMD_ORDER_INDEX.Only if there are entries in this table you can
extract records.
If this is not the case then,

Press Generate.

2.b)If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of

Here goto-> Process user status You will find the documentation attached here for the user status. Going inside the transaction you will find the status groups USS0, ZIOP,ZMOP etc. The names of the various BW status are derived from this For ex. BW + ST+ One + USS0 gives the name of the field BWSTONEUSS0 or BWST + ONE + ZMOP = BWSTONEZMOP (Master opportunity values) (which means BWST + (status group name) + status object group name) Double clicking on any of the object groups will take you to the values that these status can have . For ex. BWSTONEUSS0 in your system can have values E001 ,E002,E003,E007 which will be shown in RSA3 as BW status values 1,2,3,7, respectively.
Similarly we have Goto -> Process system status (in SPRO). Here you can get the values for the system status in exactly the same way as BWSTONESYS0(Lifecycle status) , BWSTTECSYS2 (Error) etc. In RSA3 you get the names as BW status, To know which corresponds to which status here,Goto the record list in RSA3 . Here goto Settings - Layout -Current . Right click -> Press Show technical field names . You will be able to see the BW status names and will be able to adjust the layout accordingly. -
We have three Apple devices 2 IPhone 4's and one Ipad2. Only the Ipad2 is running the latest OS. They are all have the same name and are on the same apple ID. We would like to back up our Notes to the cloud. If we each create our own Apple email address (we don't have one yet) will they create two separate Notes flies on the Cloud or merge them?

Separate Apple ID's will result in separate notes. However when you first start with separate ID's unless one of you erases the notes you have, you will both start off with the same set of notes, but from then onwards each set won't sync with each other. -

I am also facing the similar problem as Prakash, I don't know why my Bdocs are all waiting with yellow status in smw01.I followed your steps but in SMOHQUEUE the status of the queue demon is Hold because of this the status of Bdocs are yellow.If yes would you pls tell me the steps to turn it to green.If i manually do(Reprocess or register that queue in smqr) everything is working fine but is there any way we can turn Bdocs from yellow to green automatically.I appreciate it in advance. I'm having difficulty syncing my iCal between my home computer and iPhone. New entries from my home are not syncing with the phone and vice-versa. I didn't have any problems with this before until the latest phone update. Any suggestions?
It could be that the existing wire in your appartment is not clean enough to provision DSL only. When combined with the phone possibly it has a higher line voltage and worked before. Now that the line is to be provisioned without phone service it may be giving them trouble that did not show before they came out and ran the new line test. So a new jack dedecated for your DSL line may require a new wire be run to your appartment. Also the account for internet only used to require direct billing to a credit card or something else. This was a number of years ago. Most accounts are linked to a phone number, and without a voice number it adds to the confusion.
If you are getting the voice and everything turned on as before, then I am at a loss for words. -
Why are my HD videos all importing with different resolutions?
Hi, I tried looking through like 10 pages of discussions on here and didn't see anybody else having this problem.
I have a Canon Vixia HF200, I keep the settings on MXP (highest quality 1920 x 1080). Every time I log and transfer my videos they import at different resolutions (everything from the same day will be the same), some of them come in as 1440 x 1080, 720 x 480, etc, when they should all be 1920 x 1080.
So, since some of them ended up being a completely different aspect ratio, I went into Motion>Distort and changed them all to 1920 x 1080, and I thought it was fine, but now I'm noticing that some of the videos look really out of focus (it seems like they get more out of focus every time I open it), so I'm thinking I probably shouldn't have stretched them....
I checked the original videos in the browser and they all say 1920 x 1080 now, when I watch them in the viewer, they actually look like good HD videos, but in the canvas they're out of focus...
I'm also working with multiple sequences, and when I copy videos from one sequence to another, it changes the resolution/aspect ratio/scale again, and becomes more blurry when I try to fix it.
So basically, I have a huge mess. I'm working on editing a documentary that I'm making and now most of the video looks bad and I'm not sure how to change it back. I even tried starting a new project and importing the original videos, but they don't seem to have the original quality.
Anybody know how I can either fix this or somehow replace the clips in the sequence with the originals in the browser to at least get some quality back?
Also, a lot of the time when I render, I come back to the computer and it says something like "Error: Illegal (something) render failed" and completely loses the rendering that it spent a long time doing.
I appreciate any help.

Your 1920x1080 clips most likely import at their normal frame size, and then you placed them in the wrong sequence. Make sure your +File > Easy Setup+ is set to *Apple Intermediate Codec 1920x1080i60* before you create a new sequence. -
I'm finding that songs that I have imported into Itunes and played before are suddenly showing an"Exclamation" mark and Itunes tells me that the original file cannot be found. When I tell it to locate the file, it can't do it. I went to the Itunes help for locating files, but that still won't do it. It seems that somehow they are getting deleted, but not by me that I know of.
Can anyone help me?Maybe you rename it. Somehow the path to the songs have changed if not deleted.
In Finder go to "Macintosh/Users/username/music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music" that's where all your songs located so if those songs are not there you get an exclamation mark. You can delete those entries in iTunes and re-import again. -
16-35 L USM lens and struggling with sharp focus and depth of field.
I just purchased the 16-35 L lens after reading all the reviews. I was previoulsy using the 24-70mm and was happy with the results. I am new to the Canon Mark 5D III and the new wide angle lens. I took pictures yesterday for over two hours and came back with no sharp images and no depth of field even when shooting at F/22. I zoomed in or moved close to my subjects expecting the images to be tack sharp but I am extremely disappointed. Not ONE of my pictures were tack sharp. What am I doing wrong? Are there correct settings for close-ups, landscapes and portraits with this lens? At F/22 I shoot 1/3 of the way into the picture expecting that everything in front and behind will be sharp. Not so. I am very frustrated as a newcomer to this camera. Please advise or guide me to a great source to learn.

You shouldn't have to stop down to f/22 to get a large DoF at 16mm. In fact, part of what you might be seeing is softness from diffraction at that aperture. Try f/8, the DoF is actually quite wide at that aperture.
What shutter speeds are you at? Yes, you can get away with much slower speeds with UWA, but it can still soften images.
Lastly, I've never been able to get results out of an UWA like I can with longer lenses or a prime. I can get good results, and they clean up quite nicely in post, but viewing untouched photos at 100% it's never sharp like a good prime, or even a good tele really. So I don't know what you're expecting out of it. It usually doesn't matter since UWA are used for larger subject matter than the other lenses... but that has been my experience. -
Can I use events imported with iMovie 11 and on exhard drive, in iMovie 6?
I would like to open DV files in iMovie6 which are stored on external hard drive (imported with iMovie 11). How do I do this please? Would there be any loss of quality even if I knew how to do this? I asked this question previously but I was a bit more 'confused' then.

Canadian BC users, how are you dealing with HST, GST and PST/QST?
Hi, I'm new here and I've been building my first BC eCommerce site for a client for almost a year. It's a business to business site, dealing with about 5000 SKUs. It's currently in trial mode, and we're about to go live with it. I have a problem with taxes I hoped I'd be able to sort out, but haven't found a solution.
My client's head office is in Ontario and they sell from there, and also from Quebec, though online sales will be limited from Ontario for now. Ontario, like B.C., where I am, and a number of other provinces have HST. The remaining provinces have GST and PST/QST, except Alberta, which only has GST. My client sells thoughout Canada, and also to the U.S.
Scenario 1) When one sells from an HST province to a customer in another HST province, the seller must collect and remit the HST for the buyer's province. For example, I work from B.C. with 12% HST, and my client has 13% HST in Ontario. I have to invoice them for my services, collecting and remitting 13% HST.
Scenario 2) When one sells from any province to a customer in a non-HST province other than Quebec, the seller charges GST and is encouraged, and depending on the province they are selling to, required, to register for that province's PST and collect and remit that tax as well. Otherwise the customer is required to self-assess the PST on the purchase.
Scenario 3) When one sells from any province to a customer in Quebec, they must apply the GST to the purchase, and then apply the QST (Quebec Sales Tax) to that total. Again, out of province sellers are expected to collect and remit the QST.
Scenario 1 is fine. Currently I've set up all HST provinces with their corresponding rate.
Scenario 2 is problematic from a legal taxation standpoint. I've set up all GST+PST provinces and Quebec with 5% GST only. This will not be acceptable to my client as their sales volumes are quite high and they have to remit other province's PST.
Scenario 3 seems impossible on BC, but will become a lesser problem until January 2013, when Quebec changes to Scenario 2 (i.e. the QST will no longer piggy-back the GST but will be raised so there is no change to the total tax)
Further, most businesses will want to see the GST and PST appear separately on the invoice, not calculated together as seems to be the case now.
Has anyone managed to set up GST and PST/QST in the system, so both taxes appear in the cart/checkout process, and separately on the invoice?

So after about 2 weeks, I'm not sure there's a solution to this. I've tried a variety of JavaScript and JQuery approaches to do a show/hide of the appropriate tag based on the province chosen in the {tag_shippingoptions} drop down. The cleanest way was with JQuery and I got it to work outside of Business Catalyst, but not when implemented in my cart.
The problems seems to be threefold.
1. The onchange of the "shipping state" dropdown calls ApplyTaxRate() in an unmodifiable back-end .js file. If I try to have local JS or JQ work on the same function call to do my show/hide, not only does the show/hide not work, but it breaks communication with the back-end .js so no taxes get calculated/updated.
2. If I create my own shipping menus calling the same functions (acutally just copy/pasted the inspected HTML), the taxes update OK, but the menu selections don't persist, AND if I then inject my show/hide, the show/hide doesn't work and all the functionality of the ApplyTaxRate function breaks.
3. If I try to call an additional function for the show/hide, from the onchange of my own menu, the ApplyTaxRate function works, but the additional fucntion doesn't work as it does outside of BC.
Here is my partial code. Any help?

Import Date Go to User Tablespace
i create one tablespace for one user and grant this tablespace or put default tablespace to user .but when import tables go directly in USERS tablespace. Please Advice Me How Make Solution. Ahmed.
