Shuttle example using JClient
I need to develop a shuttle screen moving data between two view objects. I looked at the Shuttle example using UIX, but I am not sure how to duplicate that functionality in JClient. I am using jdev 10.1.2.0.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I also need to insert a shuttle control in JDeveloper. Shuttle controls are extensively used in JDeveloper Wizards. Is there any way that I can use a prebuilt Shuttle control?
I tried to mimic the shuttle control on a JTree and have the ">>", "<<", ">", ">>" buttons working. But can not manage to get the Move Up and Move Down buttons working. The JTree is based on a VO and the VO is being sorted by a column "Order". I have managed to change the required "Order" column values when I click Move Up and Move Down but the JTree does not refresh itself until I close the application.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Reading your question a bit more in detail, I doubt whether you are using Win32 API GetDiskFreeSpace function (for which my previous post is the solution) of Programmer's Toolbox GetDiskSpace function.
With reference to the second one, it works even with disks larger than 2GB but you need to use the proper formatting code to display the returned value. I updated my example to show total free space in the debug output window and added a comparison with 3GB value using UInt64TypeCompareUInt from the Programmer's Toolbox. -

OLAP ... Adobe example used; need help fixing a bug (clearing variables on error)
Okay ...
So I used one of the Adobe examples except now it's part of a container and it's using a datasource instead of the flatfile the example uses. Also, for some reason I need to create a button instead of using the creationComplete to get it to work. My problem is if the button is clicked to fast while it's loading the data (since another part of the application has a dropdown menu so you can requery information) you get an error and for some reason, you'll still get the same error even if the data is fully loaded and even if you change the parameter to reload the data. My feeling is that the variables are not getting cleared out after it throws the error.
So my question is what is the best way to clear out the variables (and how) when it throws an error. The code for the page is below.

i like to know whether new APIs can be binded with BC4J componets or not. now i am using JClient and its API to bind with BC4j components. but i like to use new API in jclient to bind with BC4j componets. or bindind the new APIS directly in to BC4j components.is that possibe to do that.if posssible i like to know the procedures with small samples too.

It's sad to do but ODI is quite wide as topic. Follow many blogs, read threads and understood them, ask and make many errors.

What version of Visual Basic are you using? If it is Visual Basic.Net then you should be using the Tuxedo .Net workstation client libraries and not the workstation libraries. More information can be found at:

You should only attempt to use the standard workstation libraries if you are using Visual Basic 6 or earlier, i.e., non-.Net versions of VB.

With iMessage, it is meant to show up on all your iOS devices and Mac. If you do not want them to go across all your devices, then you will need to turn off iMessage on your iPad and Mac Pro.

Load Akamai plugin example using Static plugin loading method

I want to load Akamai plugin example using Static plugin loading method. For that, I passed "com.akamai.osmf.AkamaiBasicStreamingPluginInfo" as a class defination, but I got error stating, ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable AkamaiBasicStreamingPluginInfo is not defined.
Makjosh once sent a post that the title was "Getting an error while loading the plugin using static plugin load method". I then follow the solution. But how can I add the dependent project(Flex/AS Build Path -> Library Path -> Add Project). As a result, I do not find the AkamaiBasicStreamingPlugin project only having the NetMocker project and the StrobeUnit project in it.
So I try to link the AkamaiBasicStreamingPlugin project use the following method(project properties->Project References->select "AkamaiBasicStreamingPlugin"), it still causes the same error.
Please help me.

A couple of things to look at:
1) Make sure you have the import statement in your project:
import com.akamai.osmf.AkamaiBasicStreamingPluginInfo;
2) Make sure you add the AkamaiBasicStreamingPlugin folder to your Flex Build Path (right click project, select "properties", then "Flex Build Path", in "Source Path" you need to add the plugin folder).
3) If you are still getting Error #1065, you can try a trick where you force the swf compiler to pull in the class:

Now you should be able to use getDefinitionByName to load the plugin:

Does anyone know of a good JTable example (using a TableModel) with RandomAccessFile?
I'm particularly interested to see how the TableModel is setup.
Also, when my JTable issues calls to the TableModel's "getValueAt()" method - to initialize its empty cells - it appears to call "getValueAt()" using randomly chosen row/column values (rather than filling the cells in "left-to-right"/"top-to-bottom" fashion).
Is this typical?
