Siebel Accounts Re-numbering & Re-naming using VB scripts

Hi gurus,
In My project I need to do the
1) Account Re-numbering (Account Re-Numbering --- > from OLD Account# NEW Account# )
2) Account Re-Naming ( Account Renaming --- > from OLD Account Name to New account Name )
I will be provided by table with all these columns 75K rows
for this I developed a VB- Script it will look for the Account# and replace with the New # and New Account Name.
Some part of codes are as follows
BCAccount.SetFieldValue "Location", setNewLoc
BCAccount.SetFieldValue "Name", setNewName
Its seems working fine
Its perfectly updating S_ORG_EXT , S_PARTY and S_ACCNT_POSTN , Looking from the Accounts screen its look perfect !!!!!
My question is
Is there anything I need to consider more on this ?
Is there any risk involved in these type of Mass updation ?
What are the points I need to take care before doing this update apartment the Backups ?
Please your expert views on these ….

Hi,
Solaris app server but DB2 database? That is very strange and not something I have ever seen in production.
Normally we see AIX or windows app servers with DB2 DBMS. Also Solaris or Windows app servers with Solaris DBMS.
I doubt Oracle tests this install scenario.
Also have to ask why you don’t use your real name when posting on this forum???

Just let you know about skype unbelievable behaviour with blocking
Accounts and numbers.
We have skype + skype kredit for many years and call mostly one family landline number all the time - from our main account.
One beautifull afternoon I was sitting in my room talking ti this number as I have done for years. Without knowing this fact, my wife from another room using same account i. e same skype kredit has tried to call her family.
Without any message / notice from skype that another person is using the account/kredit she successfully connect an begins talking - a landline number as well - so for 5 min we talk to different numbers simultaneously from same account / kredit without any alarm notice from skype and without knowing about each other Stupid , isn' t it ? But this is only a stupid mistake evrybody can do - skype must have a solution for this - we are living in 21 century.
But guess what happening - after 5 min simulaneoys talk - we have been thrown out from tjis account and the account + our main landline number is blocked by skype.
After several hours writing mails and talking to a several skype consultants providing proof of purchasing etc - our account was unblocked.
But guess what - the land line number we call 80 % of our credit last years is still blocked because skype thinks that this number is used for fraudelent attempts - any attempts to explain that everything is stupud mistake was receiving automatic draft mails that skype is investigating the number.
WHAT WAS OUR SURPRISE TODAY WHEN WE RECEIVED MAIL FROM SKYPE THAT THIS NUMBER IS BLOCKED FOREVER AND IF WE WANT TO CALL THIS NUMBER WE NEED TO FIND ANOTHER SOLUTION !!!!!!!!!!

Тhe most funny / absurd / tragic thing is that rest of our family living in different countries also can not use this landline number (80 % of their calls are also to this number) - so all we need to change skype with some other solution - AMAZING AND UNBELIEVEBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
If you are on the latest Skype 6.5/6.6/6.7/6.9/6.10/6.11/6.13/6.14 version, then do also this:
Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.

To move one of the phones to a different iCloud account (if that's what you want to do), go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This will delete the account from the phone but not from iCloud so the other phone will not be effected. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn iCloud syncing in Settings>iCloud back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new iCloud account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com and sign into each iCloud account separately and delete any unwanted data that you don't want on the phone syncing with each account.

Suspend/Re-instate: Siebel account not displayed

Hi all,
When you click on a user and then either the 'Suspend' or 'Reactivate' buttons on the Accounts page, all of the user's currently assigned accounts should be displayed i.e. Lighthouse, LDAP, etc.
One of the resources I am provisioning to is Siebel. If I try to suspend or reactivate a user with a Siebel account, the Siebel account is not displayed as one of those currently assigned to the user on the 'Suspend' or 'Reactivate User' page. However if I click on the Ok button, the account is suspended or reactivated - the functionality is working.
I have tried printing out the currentResourceAccounts field and the Siebel account does not appear there. However if you click on 'Edit User' , the Siebel account is displayed.
Any ideas as to why we are not seeing the Siebel account as a Current Resource Account on the Suspend or Reactivate User page?

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

You can access, usually under the Apple (icon) menu in the main desktop
window, note item with name "About this Mac" & click on that, to see more
information about your computer, its OS X version, and other. The system
version and build model are there. Do not post a serial number.
If you are setting up Mail in a Mavericks OS X 10.9.x system, there often
is access to information in the Help viewer from the main menu bar, or
in an open mail application. If you have a Gmail or other account, that
info is often on their home page where setup and help are located.
The settings of each email account may vary according to their provider;
so you would have to change your computer to accept them. An older

While that may not answer your question, you could use the info in
your Mac OS X system Help viewer and use its search; or maybe
a Spotlight search to see an answer online.
You have to learn some basic things in order to actually use these...

I saw another thread on the matter but thought I would post because the circumstances are different. Here is how it happened.
I have had an Apple Store account for years and until recently our family has only had our one Mac and my iPhone 4. Thus any purchases we have made on the Apple App Store were made only with this account.
We recently purchased two iPhone 5S's--one for my wife and one for my daughter. Neither had Apple IDs so first we set up my wife's iPhone and created an Apple ID for her. Next we used the Family Sharing feature to set up an account for our "under age 13" daughter.
Because I am still waiting for my iPhone 6 Plus to arrive, and because the iPhone 4 cannot upgrade to iOS 8, and because my Apple ID is the only account with any apps that have been purchased in prior years, I set up my wife as the Family Organizer but when I set up her account, I chose the option to "share purchases from a different account" and entered the information for my Apple ID.
My daughter is able to view my prior purchases on her iPhone, but when my wife tries to view my prior purchases, she receives the message "This iTunes account is set up to use Family Sharing with a different iCloud account than <her Apple ID>."
I hope Apple is reading this. I would be more than willing to help them on this one as this feature is one of the main reasons I put our family on iPhones.

I had this problem. I finally figured it out yesterday. Try this:
On the device that is having trouble seeing purchases, go to Settings>iCloud>Family Sharing> Then tap on the user of the device you are on. Under "Family Purchases" make sure it has the AppleID of the person for that device. Mine originally had my husbands AppleID in there (he is the Organizer), but I changed it to mine. That doesn't make it so that the purchases are under me. The purchases remained under my husband, but my ID had to be in this spot for it to work.
After that, I closed settings, then I went to Settings>iTunes and App Store> click on the AppleID and Sign Out, even if it has the right AppleID in there. Then Sign In again using the AppleID of the person on that device. Again-- even if it has the right ID in there to start, still sign out and back in.
See if they show up. If they don't show up still, try doing a restart (hold down power button and home button until it restarts).
They should show up by then, but if they don't, at that point, try to go into iCloud and Sign Out and back in.
I think the key is having the right ID in "Family Purchases". I hope this works for you.

Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.
