Sign in to iCloud box won't go away

"Sign in to iCloud" box won't go away on iPad

Hi Jayhawk,
Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom of the page and Delete the iCloud account. Make sure you have an internet connection, then go back to Settings>iCloud and sign back into your iCloud account.
Cheers,

  • Sign into icloud box won't go away

As soon as I power on my ipad mini, the sign into iCloud dialogue box pops up.  I type in the password, but it pops up with the box again as if I didn't type anything in.   I've tried holding the home and power buttons simultaneously to restart it, to no avail.  Box comes back once it reboots.  I've tried to restore to factory settings from itunes, but the ipad wants me to turn off the "find my ipad" option in the settings.  I can't do this either since the ipad won't let me connect to wifi/internet to verify the password for my apple ID.

Try resetting it (hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release) and as soon as it restarts quickly turn on wifi in settings.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

  • I am stuck in a loop of "sign in to icloud" box

I have a new I pad Mini, and can't use any of its function because as soon as i enter my password it goes to a box labled "sign in to ICloud"
and even though i chaged my password and got an apple confirmation it doesn't like tthe password and the mini will do nothing other than display this box.

Nope. It just opened the installer and stayed in the same loop.
It tells me to choose a startup disk but the only option is the HD which it will not use because it says it cannot gather enough information.
Eveything was working fine until the mountain lion failed install.

  • Help Product Improvement Program dialog box won't go away

When I re-opened the beta version of Fireworks CS4 last
night, there was a dialog box asking me whether or not I wanted to
participate in helping Adobe with product enhancement by submitting
information on my usage of Fireworks, but the bloody thing will not
close. There's options to select yes, no and a few other things,
but whenever I select anything it won't go away. Does anyone else
have this problem? And if so, is Adobe aware of it?

Yes, this problem has been reported already in the CS4 Beta
    forum.
    Reading
that topic, it appears that only Mac users reported the error
so far, and the only way out was to quit and restart Fireworks. I
think it would be a good idea to post your case there too.

  • Download Adobe Flash Player box won't go away.

The screen pops up asking to download Adobe Flash Player even though it is already downloaded. After clicking on, do not show this screen again., don't allow, and closing the box.  Moving the mouse the screen comes back, won't go away.

What is your operating system & version?
    What is your web browser?
What pop-ups?  Can you post a screenshot?

  • Grey fill box won't go away

    Hi,
I'm having trouble eliminating this grey fill box in the middle of my blank background. It must be from the wire frames that I created for this website, but I can't figure out why it won't go away. If you look on the right side of this screen shot, you'll see that I have all of the wireframe layers hidden. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Gordon

I turned off openGL and tried changing the magnification. Neither seem to make a difference.
I think you're right in that it was part of the background layer. I filled it with white and the grey box dissapeared.
    Thank you : )

The ICloud Backup dialogue box has come up on my I5.  It will not cancel, nor allow me to do anything on my phone, even power off.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use it again

Please help me. I got a new iphone and decided to change my apple Id, forgetting that I also use it for my Ipad. I then tried to get onto my iPad but it kept asking me to sign in, of course now that id is no longer in existance and it will not allow me to log out or change the Id with out typing in the password. I was wondering if someone could help me, i've tried changing my apple Id back, resetting my iPad and none of this has worked!!

Is this itunes on the iPad or on my computer? Thank you for the reply.

  • "Highlight Property Value" dialogue box won't go away! Help! CS2

Have a page that I'm working on, now every 5 seconds or so a box pops up "Highlight Property Value" asking me to enter name and value of CSS property. No amount of canceling or entering data gets rid of it.
Never have seen this box in all my years of GoLive.
Tried quitting and reopening GL, but still there.
    CS2 on Leopard.

Installed as another user-set to admin, but this means I cannot work on any of my existing sites (since they are assigned to the other user- got error message). really hard to troubleshoot this way.
Created a new page and did as many quick tasks I I could think of, but did not get the box.
Logged out and then back in as original user to work on another site and was able to do a few tasks before the box popped up again. Once the box pops up, it's regularly every 5 seconds in all modes source, preview or layout
I had had Leopard installed for a few weeks before this problem started.
Could I have missed purging the offending Adobe file in the last reinstall I did on the main user?
Is there an Apple pref that might have something to do with it?
Prefs were easy, but it seems as though CS3 and CS2 Suites have some common named files in the Library. I am installing from the Suite disks. If I completely remove all the files that the CS2 deinstall instructions say to delete, can I be assured that I won't be deleting a critical CS3 file of the same name?
Would love to disable that highlight function any way possible -I've never used it.

  • ICloud popscreen won't go away and it's the old Apple ID

We just changed our email address, therefore, I changed our Apple ID.  My iphone, however, keeps popping up the iCloud sign-in but it's the old Apple ID.
It will not allow me to go to iCloud to delete and add new because the pop-up screen keeps blocking the screen.
    Help Help Help
    I can't use my phone.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreated the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to respond to the prompt and to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • REGISTRATION UNSUCCESFUL DIALOGUE BOX WON'T GO AWAY

I am running Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard under Windows 8.1 running on a new Lenovo laptop, which I bought when my old Vista laptop stopped running.  Whenever I start up Acrobat, a dialogue box appears headed "Registration unsuccesful." Beneath that there is an error message saying "A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet."  If I simply close the dialogue box, and later shut down Acrobat, the dialogue box simply reappears the next time I start up Acrobat.
The dialogue box has three radio buttons, one for each of three options.  The first option is "Try submitting the online registration again".  Selecting that option has no effect - the dialogue window flashes for a moment and then returns to normal.  The second options is "Register later (you will have to fill out the registration form again".  Selecting that option makes the dialogue box close, but if I then shut down Acrobat and re-open it,  the dialogue box appears again almost immediately.  The third option is "Never register".  If I select that option, the effect is similar to that for the second option - that is, the dialogue box closes, but shutting down and re-opening Acrobat causes the same dialogue box to reappear almost immediately.
This is very frustrating and irritating!  What can I do to stop the dialogue box reappearing?  I should like to register, but whenever I go to the Help menu and select "Registration..." the same dialogue box appears, and behaves in the same way.  Could this be connected to the fact that I first registered Acrobat 8 from my old Vista machine, which is no longer working?  Is is relevant that my copy of Acrobat, which originally came with my Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner, comprises Acrobat 6 on CD and an upgrade to Acrobat 8 Standard on another CD?  I never had any trouble on my old Vista machine, which I can no longer get to start up properly (so I cannot remove Acrobat from that machine).

Just a small correction: my "old Vista machine" had, as I now belatedly remember, been upgraded to Windows 7.  My copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard ran without any registration problems under both Vista and Windows 7.

  • Network Setup trying to modify your system settings...This box won't go away!

OSX Version 10.8.1....Since I have updated, I get "networksetup is trying to modify your system settings. Type your password to allow this" Sometimes there are ten of these boxes on top of each other, so I'm constantly typing in my password or clicking cancel..cancel...cancel... Sometimes it's very difficult to make it go away, and is extremely annoying. Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Chris

Your key chain probably needs some attention, reset it for the same password thru out. Go to utilities, keychain access, and you might be able to find the offender, also read the following.

  • Outlook 2010 authentication pop up box won't go away

After we applied the latest round of Windows Updates to our guinea pig workstations, we discovered that one of them caused something to break in Outlook 2010.  We are set to use AD auto detect authentication on a local Exchange 2007 server. The pop
up window has varied, and nothing we have done has fixed it, not even uninstalling all the patches.  (After the first workstation had the bug, I installed the patches one at a time and determined its KB2553248 that breaks it.)
Mail flows normally and we can send and receive without any problems.  The pop up box can be sent to the back but cannot be minimized.
    Mine says:
    Windows Security
    Microsoft Outlook
Connecting to (my AD email address)
The OK button is grayed out.  Hitting the Cancel button breaks the connection to Exchange, and causes "Connected to Microsoft Exchange" to change over to "Need Password" on the bottom toolbar.  Clicking "Need Password" logs me in within a few seconds
without any further prompting.... but within five minutes the pop up box is back.
On the other user's computer, the pop up box says:
    Windows Security
    Please Insert a Smart Card
and prompts for credentials if she hits OK.  Like my pop up, the window can be ignored and mail flows normally.  If she hits cancel, her connection to Exchange breaks until she hits "Need Password" at which point she's logged right back in again.
Interestingly, her Outlook was never configured to authenticate with a smart card.  Like mine, it's set to Auto Detect connection type and to configure with the Windows AD login information.
We're holding off deployment of KB2553248 until we have a fix for this.  Although it does not impede mail flow it's annoying as heck, and our clients that use Outlook (all 500ish of them...) are sure to click Cancel and break their connection to Exchange
without knowing to click the Need Password again.
How can we hide this pop up box?

OK...update on my issue (which is now RESOLVED!!!) since other people may did what I did.
I looked at the following link:
    http://demazter.wordpress.com/2010/02/09/outlook-continually-prompting-for-username-and-password-2/
None of the above worked...even the kerberos method.
OL 2010 pop up box didn't say anything about connecting to where.  So I looked closely at the popup box for OL 2007...keeps on saying connecting to mail.company.com.  I was wondering why OL was trying to go outside instead of exch2010.domain.local
even though my account settings/profile is set to exch2010.domain.local.
As I was reading an article on SCP and how to locate it using adsiedit (which I couldn't figure out how),
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/douggowans/archive/2007/06/28/serviceconnectionpoints.aspx
This line in the blog got me thinking:
This url can be changed using the set-clientaccessserver cmdlet with the parameter -AutodiscoverServiceInternalURI.
That InternalURI got me thinking.  When I looked at a txtfile that I jolted down and saved of what I did during the install of Exch 2010,
    Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity "exch2010" –AutodiscoverServiceInternalURI
    https://mail.company.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory -Identity "exch2010\EWS (Default Web Site)" –InternalUrl
    https://mail.company.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx
Set-OABVirtualDirectory -Identity “exch2010\OAB (Default Web Site)” -InternalURL
    https://mail.company.com/OAB
I figured, let's try changing them to:
    Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity "exch2010" –AutodiscoverServiceInternalURI
    https://exch2010/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory -Identity "exch2010\EWS (Default Web Site)" –InternalUrl
    https://exch2010/EWS/Exchange.asmx
Set-OABVirtualDirectory -Identity “exch2010\OAB (Default Web Site)” -InternalURL
    https://exch2010/OAB
I entered those commands in EMS and executed them...then I loaded up OL 2010 and OL 2007.  It's been 30 min and nothing has popped up!!!
Silly me..I think why I did mail.company.com was that I was following a couple of guides that were posted out there on the internet on exchange 2010 and they just entered mail.company.com into there.  But I think their guides are for networks where
the internal domain and external domain are the same.  ie company.com for both insdie and outside.
I am going to install KB2553248 back onto my Win 7/OL 2010 workstation and see if that breaks it.
