SIGNATURE ERROR IN DATABASE PACKAGE
HI,
We have a table TABLE1 with a column COL1.
There is a DB package DP_SOMEPACKAGE which is creating a record type in its specification by declaring:
TYPE t_type IS RECORD
(some_var table1.col1%TYPE,
There is a PLL attached to a form SOME_FORM.FMB which is calling DP_SOMEPACKAGE.
Now when we are changing the datatype of TABLE1.COL1 the SOME_FORM.FMB says that DP_SOMEPACKAGE signature has changed whereas the DP_SOMEPACKAGE is valid and is accessible through SQL.
Do we have to recompile the forms when we change the data type of a column in a table?
Can someone tell us is it the right behavior?
thanks for your time.
Regards,

[SOLVED]linux-headers upgrade fails with PGP signature error
Whe trying to upgrade the linux kernel using:
pacman -S linux linux-headers
it fails with the following error:
(2/2) checking package integrity [#################################] 100%
error: linux: signature from "Tobias Powalowski <[email protected]>" is unknown trust
error: linux-headers: signature from "Tobias Powalowski <[email protected]>" is invalid

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
I have tried deleting /etc/pacman.d/gnupg and the recreating it with
pacman-key --init
, I have also run
pacman -Syy
to make sure the repository is up to date. I read the wiki post about time, but my ntp daemon is running, and I have confirmed that my time is exactly right.

Sorry, but that doesn't help me. I can't find any reference in that post to this problem. I get a similar issue when I try to upgrade mysql:

Signature error when user tried to add new database via configuration.
We just moved domain. No changes to database, operating system. As admin I can get in fine with the new domain, but not the user. He tried to create a new database in the configuration dialogue box and got debug error. When you click on next he get a signature error. Any ideas?
I used the information to narrow down what was wrong. You were right about the user. The old user was not working, but after I created a new user that I (admin) was able to logon and see the database, the user still unable to add a new database connection. I went back to the old dbxconnections file and just made edit to the file and put it back into operation and the user was able to see their data again.

GPGME error when updating package cache
For some odd reason when I update my package cache (sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology; I'm new to Arch, came from Ubuntu) it throws the error:
error: GPGME error: No data
So now I can't install anything.
Since I have a crappy internet connection, sometimes it would fail to connect to mirrors.aggregate.org, and it downloaded [core] just fine.
So I disable it in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist and it still didn't work.
So what's my problem and how do I fix it? I really would like to be able to install things
Here is the full output of the command:

Did you ever make any changes to your mirrorlist file? If not it may be trying to use a mirror that is waaaayyy far away from you. The generation of optimum mirrors is dependent on where the list is generated from. So the package provided mirrorlist is simply optimized from one particlaur dev's location.
Look into reflector and rankmirrors. They are great tools.
I did change my mirrorlist file. I commented out the offending mirors and it worked fine.
I'll look into those programs. Thanks.

abdul.Finally ..
I was able to solve these errors
Solution: ( for others reference.. maybe it might help someone ..like me)
Steps
I had created a queue with the ea appl packages 7 and 8.
first i deleted this queue.. (as it was in test phase i could)
then i choose only package 7 and uploaded it.. (the error was with package 8)
then i updated package ea dfps (7) .... as i needed that also
then i updated package ecc-dimp(7)....as i needed this too
during which i had to increase the appheapsz of the db (ibm db udb 9)
through its control center..
and its log file size ... (this as i was getting sql error 945 during import of ecc dimp 7)
then after all the 7 level packages had gone
i updated package level 8 of ea appl .........( it went like a breeze)
no headaches
then i was also able to update 8 level packages of ea dfps and ecc dimp
maybe this might help someone ..... maybe not
thanks to all of u guys who tried to help

Error Executing Database Query
I have a web application written in CF8 with Oracle 11g as the back end. This application has been used very often for more than 6 years. Currently I am moving to CF10 and did only a little modification to the CF codes. When I ran the new application in my test server, everything seems to be working just fine except when it calls an Oracle Package. This action produces an error: Error Executing Database Query The strange thing is everything work before and after calling the procedure, I tested using cfabort This Oracle Package is still working in production server (CF8) but not when it is called by CF10. My question is: Is there any changes for CF10 when calling a procedures? or is there any hotfix that I'm not aware of? The code is as follow: SELECT case trim(to_char(SYSDATE, 'DAY')) WHEN 'MONDAY' then '1' else '2' end AS TodaysDate from dual
SELECT Count(other_id) AS NoRecFound FROM gl_dup_ids_ssns WHERE Trim(create_date) =
SELECT Count(other_id) AS NoRecFound FROM gl_dup_ids_ssns WHERE Trim(create_date) = CF codes to Stop the process and email admin
Error Executing Database Query shows up when it hit to run cfstoredproc. The codes are exactly the same as in CF8, this template was not modified. Exceptions 14:03:53.053 - Database Exception - in /home/space/users/www/GL/glproc.cfm : line 93 Error Executing Database Query.mega_L wrote:

Surely, that cannot be the actual SQL, as it is obviously invalid. -
AIP-51083: General failure creating S/MIME digital signature: Error
I know you guys did answer to this kind of question in several threads. But my case is bit different. Please try to help me to resolve this issue.
OS: AIX 5.3
B2B: 10.1.2.2 (No Additions)
I did encrypt the message using certificates (Host & Trading Partner) and send to Trading Partner and got the confirmation. So assuming there is no issue with wallet and certificates.
But I am not able to sing the same message using same certificates.
(I don’t have any issue with Host certificate, I can use it for host sing but I have issue with Trading Partner certificate)
Here the error message. I really appreciate your help.

Thanks in Advance,
Rama KHi Anuj,
Thanks for your good reply.
I was doing same thing which you mentioned (Thats the reason encryption is working with same certificates, so there is no issue with wallet and certificates).
in my log (debug mode) I did find some thing is interesting
From the log,
<MSG_TEXT>oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.packaging.SmimeSecureMessaging:SmimeSecureMessaging: sign alternateWrl: /oraaiad/B2BHome/Apache/Apache/conf/ssl.wlt/default/wallet1</MSG_TEXT>
Log is looking for alternateWrl "/*default/wallet1*"
But my wallet location which I mentioned in tip.props /oraaiad/B2BHome/Apache/Apache/conf/ssl.wlt/*default/wallet.txt*
I know there is no location called "*wallet1*" thats the reason why it's throwing null pointer. But my questions is, why it's looking for alternateWrl? Here some of debug log.

Accessing database package variables from Forms
I have a database package that populates a table of values, i.e.
type t_route_list is table of rt_route.RTR_ID%type;
route_list t_route_list
route_list gets populated by a package function and I want to access route_list in the Form.
While I can access other package variables by writing a function that returns the variable, Forms doesnt seem to like functions that return a user defined datatype as above. I have also tried using a procedure with an OUT param instead of a function but it also fails with same error.
i.e.
declare
v_route_list pkg_bulk_route_replace.t_route_list;
begin
pkg_bulk_route_replace.init;
pkg_bulk_route_replace.get_route_list(v_route_list);
message(v_route_list(1));
end;
This will not compile, but removing the index (1) from the last line makes it compile but crash with ORA-0600.
The code above with message replaced with dbms_out.put_line works fine on TOAD.
So my question is......
Can my database package return a plsql table to a form and if so, how?!Actually I've got this to work now!
Thde main culprit appears to be a difference in the version of sql or pl/sql used on forms (version 5) and the database (8.1.7).
I had defined my table as a nested table. By redefining this as a indexed table, simply by adding on 'index by binary_integer' on my server package, I am suddenly able to access the elements of the table on my form. Fortunately this did not break the server code either - the table was populated using bulk collect and that still works.
Still got a bit of coding to do, but things are looking up now. -
Everything 'exists in filesystem' Errors occurred, no packages were up
Something like 260 package updates failed to same error.
Really do not want to use --force
Any ideas?

You can check if the 'files' file has the files that are causing errors, e.g.
[karol@black ~]$ grep "usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_dontdothat.so" $(find /var/lib/pacman/local -name "subversion-*")/files
usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_dontdothat.so
but I think there's something else going on.
I've noticed all of the errors concern files from /usr. Do you have some special setup, like a separate /usr partition?

The dreaded frm-92101 when executing a database package :-(
Hiya gang! Forms 10g on WIN2K hitting oracle database 10g.
We have a database package with a function that calls the oracle dbms_ldap functions to do an ldap lookup in order to verify an ID. I can run it from SQL/Plus and it returns just fine.
Connected with the same ID in forms causes frm-92101 (forms server failure) to happen. I know this is a catch-all error (which drives me nuts, this is a tool written for developers, by developers, we need more info to troubleshoot errors for crying out loud!) but I'm hoping someone out here will have run across this. Here's the code just in case:
rc PLS_INTEGER;
rc := ldap_security.ldap_login_verify(:control.login, :control.passwd);
if rc = 1 then
message('verified',acknowledge);
else
message('verification failed',acknowledge);
end if;Now I don't believe its the function itself, as it runs just fine from SQL/Plus. It's got to be something to do with calling it from forms.
I put it up on the app server (solaris) and I get the same error there as when running it from my PC.
Has anyone had success with validating via ldap from forms?
Thanks for any info,
Gary

GaryDOH!
Just before the call to the ldap_security function, I issue a logon statement. The trouble was, I had originally coded an on_logon trigger with the text of "null;" when I created the form and promptly forgot about it.
When logon was called, control went to the on-logon trigger which just exits. It bombed because I wasn't really logged in! You mean to tell me forms could not tell me I wasn't logged in but just gave the frm-92101 error!?
If you issue a select without being logged in, you get a "not connected to Oracle" message. If you try to run a database function inside a package, you get the frm-92101 error.
Anyway, I deleted the on-logon trigger and all is good.

Hi,
I have this error (screenshot provided), which problem is its asking for a password. I think this vi is ni developed. So, I have tried to reinstall labview but still this cannot work. Thanks, for any help.
Best regards,
Edwin

error_code_database_password.zip 52 KBHi Edwin,
The error is most likely caused by opening an LLB in a newer version of LabVIEW
than the version it was developed on. It is commonly seen with the "Error
Code Database.vi" when upgrading from LabVIEW 6.x to 7.x, if the original
main VI using the "Simple Error Handler.vi" and it was saved in
an LLB including the VI.LIB files ("File » Save with Options... » Include
vi.lib files"). To fix the issue, make sure to use the VI.LIB files (VIs) from the current development system on the machine.
You can replace for example the "Simple Error Handler.vi" by
right-clicking it on the block diagram, choose "Replace" and then
browse to the "Simple Error Handler.vi" in the palette.
Please refer to the following KnowledgeBase about this error:
My Copy of the Error Code Database VI from LabVIEW 6.1 Does Not
Work in LabVIEW 7.0
To not run into this error again in the future, do not save the VI.LIB with the
VI, unless you are distributing to a system without the same VI.LIB files
available (e.g. from Full Development system to Base Package).
Let me know if you get it to work, thanks.
Have fun!

Forms 11gR1 with Database Package
Hi everyone,
I'm asking this here, i need to know what i'm doing wrong.
I have a database package that contains pipiled record.
I want to use it in a form with forms builder.
if i do
select * from table(mypackage.myfunction());
in PL/SQL Developper, i get all what i except (list of record)
if i try to use this select in a CURSOR inside my form, i get error about SQL type not authorised
with my from table();
but if i use it with a populate_group_with_query, everything works perfectly.
So, there's a way i can use my package inside a form program unit?
Thanks for your help.No, working with collection is not like the POPLUATE_GROUP_WITH_QUERY built-in because you have to write the code to process the rows and columns of the collection. A collection, in Oracle, is essentially an Array.
To work with a collection, you have to create an object in your trigger PL/SQL to store the collection. To do this you create a user defined TYPE and then create an object based on this type. Take a look at the article, https://sites.google.com/site/craigsoraclestuff/oracle-forms---how-to-s/forms-procedure-based-block for an example of how to write a database package the uses a collection as the source of data for a Forms data block.
Base on this article, in your Forms trigger you would then create an object typed off of the package type T_EMPLOYEE. Next, you call your database package and assign the collection to your trigger object. Finally, you loop through the collection to perform the needed action on each row. Here is an example of the basic code using the article above as an example:
/* sample code - for demonstration purposes */
/* code is untested */
DECLARE
rec_employees EMPLOYEE.T_EMPLOYEE;
BEGIN
EMPLOYEE.EMP_SELECT(rec_employees);
FOR idx in 1 .. rec_employees.COUNT LOOP
-- now do something with each column in the row...
rec_employees(idx).empno ...
rec_employees(idx).ename ...
rec_employees(idx).job ...
etc...
END LOOP;
END;
Hope this helps.
