Example:-
Dev --> Uat--Prod --- best example.
We have a repository in our test environment(*Original*) which has a presentation folder A. The same RPD(*Current*) was moved to production. Now the developers moved a new RPD(*Modified*) to test which has some minor changes to presentation folder A and has a new presentation folder B. We want only the new presentation folder B to move to Current A in current.

Comments: I checked this Dim table and did find tables associated with it. Don't know how else to check ?
38015: Physical tables "<ABC>"."Fact - abc" and "<ABC>"."Dim - lmn" have multiple joins. Delete new foreign key object if it is a duplicate of existing foreign key.
Comments: I did check the joins between this Fact and Dim table and found only 1 join.

How to make material availability check work during Work Order creation

Hi Experts,
Kindly advice about these matters:
1. How to make material availability check work during Work Order creation?
My requirement is Work Order can not be created when it has missing parts. I have set the config to '3' can not created when is has missing parts, but it still does not work.
I have implemented SAP Notes 1148139 on my system (SAP ECC 6 Ehp 5) also, but still does not have any effect.
I must not set the config Res./Purch Doc creation to 'immediately', because it does not fit to my user requirement. Is there anyone knows how to solve this requirement?
2. How to make information message/ Availability check screen appear when sparepart is missing, without clicking Availability Check button? for example: appear when clicking Save button.

RPD merge wierd behaviour 11g

I'm trying to merge two 11g RPDs, using RPD merge(patch option)-
and in following scenario-
A->DEV Baseline RPD,
B->DEV updated RPD,
C->Prod RPD.
I added a few columns in B.
Created patch comparing B with A.(The patch generated reflected all the added columns)
Applied patch on C, considering A as original RPD and used the patch generated.
Now here the utility is giving strange results, sometime it adds all normally.
Sometime it ignores all the changes, and sometime Phy layer is added and BMM changes are ignored.
Has someone faced similar issue? Any work around?

RPD Merging 'Decision' column help

Hi,
I’m new to RPD merging; I’m merging very big RPD from the two different repositories.
While merging, we are changing some attributes as ‘Modified or Current ‘in the ‘Decision’. I’ve changed few things in the modified RPD as a part of requirement. Rest of the things as ‘Current’. Here I’m in the position of change 1000 of attributes as ‘Current’ in ‘Decision’ columns :'( . It’s bugging me. Are there any short cuts to do this very simple? Any guide will be much appreciated

Unfortunately, this is a manual process. When you are merging and there are conflicts you have to go through them one by one.

BI services and BI Scheduler failed to restart during RPD Deployment

We created an RPD from OBIEE Adminstration Tool. We did not move the RPD to server repository and deployed the RPD from the client machine using enterprise manager. When we restarted the services BI Server Component and BI Scheduler Component failed to restart.Now we are not able to access any of the OBIEE links. Please help in deploying the rpd and restarting the services successfully.
When we acces BI Publisher link we get the following error:
Server not initialized. Please make sure the repository is ready.
When we login to BI Analytics using weblogic we get the following error:
Unable to Sign In
An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator.

Can you reset your BISystemUser password.
Follow below process:
For Error : Retrieving user/group data from Oracle BI Server's User Population API.
Solution :
Make sure have same password at the below
1) Oracle Weblogic Server : Console / Home >Summary of Security Realms > myrealm > Users and Groups > BISystemUser
AND
2) EM, weblogic domain > bifoundation_domain > Security > Credentials > oracle.bi.system -> system.user
Before these changes can you restart your server machine and try ......still problem exists means follow above steps.....
After restarting server need to start services in correct flow ....hope you know that flow...

Photoshop stops running during HDR merge

Hello Photoshoppers
Hope some one has an answer..During the HDR merge I get a window that tells me that PS has stopped running..Click OK then PS shuts down . This is what I have on the issue so far ..Adobe chat help had me do all kinds of crazy stuff along with updates..The last session they had me download and open their sample pictures and try to merge them. I was infact able to merge them just fine. Hence since I was able to merge their sample pictures..there is no program issue as they see it... I can merge 2 of my pictures but no more than 2.. My pictures were taken with a Canon T2i , a tripod and remote shutter device was used.. The pictures all appear exactly the sam except for exposures.. (manual but not RAW) and were downloaded as JPEGS with the sd card).. All my pictures have a file size less than 6.mb. Adobe's sample pictures were all less than 1.mb (700 kb or so ) My computer is right out of the box Windows 7 ..64 bit..4gb Ram... PS preferances, Ram was increased to allow 96% for PS usage but did not resolve the issue..
Is there a file size limit that I havent read any where? Any one else experience, or know about this issue or have any ideas ? And yes I am new to this so don't beat me up too hard..Not to mention trying to navigate Windows 7 ..instead of XP

Are you running Merge to HDR from Bridge or Photoshop? If Bridge, then either make sure Photoshop is closed before starting, or open the 64bit Photoshop and then run Merge to HDR from Bridge. I am assuming that you are running from Bridge because it is so much easier recognising the bracketed set in Bridge. I would increase the memory setting in 64bit Photoshop to something like 80% if only to prove a point - you'll know you have plenty of resources available to work the HDR that way.
To change the settings go Edit > Preferences > Performance.
What camera are you using, and how many images in the bracketed set? I use a 1DsMK3, and 1DMK4 both usually with five frames, and my old Q9550 system with 8Gb easily coped with five x 21Mb files.
All cameras that have a AEB (Auto exposure Bracketing) feature change the shutter speed, and never the aperture. A note here: I am able to change the AEB order to run from darkest through to lightest exposure, instead of the default zero offset followed by minus offset, and finally plus offset. Having the shots in exposure order makes them much easier to find in Bridge.
Incidentally, much as I love Photoshop. it comes a poor second to HDR Soft's Photomatix with HDR processing. ACR does a better job of processing the RAW files, and Photoshop is probably better at aligning the images, but Photomatix is better at the Tone mapping side of things, and keeps getting better. I am not sure if I am aloud to post this here, but 4.2 beta2 was released yesterday, and you can use it for free, but it places watermarks on the processed image

Hardware checks performed during an Unity Connection upgrade ?

I have Unity Connection 8.0.3 running on an old HP server. (Identified as a HP 7845H2 2333 during the install)
I tried a clean install of Unity Connection 8.6.1 on an identical server. The install failed with the server hardware failing to be recognised.
This is despite the server hardware meeting the requirements of the Unity Connection hardware compatibility check list.
If I try to upgrade the Unity Connection 8.0.3 system to 8.5, will the install program run a compatibility check before loading / upgrading ?
The last thing I want is to successfully install 8.5 but have the system crash when I try to boot the new version.

Your server may have been on the compatible hardware list but could require additional hardware - see these specs -

Unity Connection 8.6 requires 6Gig RAM and 4-146 Gig hard drives for the 7845 servers. Yes the install program does a compatibility check - if the install does not see the "correct" configuration, it does not show Unity Connection as one of the applications available for install. I would recommend moving to 8.6 if you can, or if you decide on 8.5, refer to Bug Search (Bug Toolkit) and review the caveats. I recently had to applu ES55 to CUC 8.5 service release 2 to fix ViewMail forwarding voice messages from Outlook. If you are planning to install Cisco UCS or an HP/IBM provided virtualized environment as an option, definitely check out 8.6 - it will save you from having to do a refresh upgrade from 8.5 - 8.6!

VOFM: how can i check netwr during calculation?

When we make a Credit Memo in reference to an Invoice, there is 2 posibilities:
- To make a partial Credit Memo (only some items).
- To make a complete Credit Memo (for the total Invoice amount).
Only in the second case, we have to calculate percepcion condition J1A2.
So, it is necesary to evaluate if i) is created as reference (solved) and ii) if the net invoice amount (VBRK-NETWR) is equal to the net Credit Memo Order.
How can I check that last issue? I have been debbuging the condition (in my case is kobev_983 in VOFM -> Requirement -> Pricing -> 983) but I can't find a variable with the total net amount to check it. I've tried also with XKWERT but the value is the corresponding with the first position.

I have done a Finder Find with search for visible and invisible files activated, but no results that specifies the 524MB from during the event.

I use iStat Pro already for many years, so i don't think it's a mistake from that application.
Does anyone know that the MacOS X cron job, that is activated during night (when your computer is on), will go on the network?

How to display the Check number during manual check clearing - FEBAN

Hi all experts,
Hope you can help me on this one. We recently changed our house bank. Because of this change, when we try to post our bank statement, the checks issued from the old bank do not clear. However, when we try to manually clear them through FEBAN transaction, there is no reference to the check number. This becomes a problem, especially when we have about 150 open items for $100 each - we do not know which one to clear against. It is not practical to have to drill down into each document number to find the check number. Is there a way to bring in the check number in the FEBAN open items screen? Has any one else experienced this issue? Any comments / suggestions will be very helpful.

I tried to add the field through O7R3 (your suggestion) as well as through O7F4. I still cannot see the check field displayed. I tried the FBL1N transaction as well - no check number field there either.
Can you help me? Is there anything else in the config that could cause this?

How to go to the next record during mail merge in Pages

I'm trying to create a directory booklet using Pages and Numbers. I have names and addresses listed in rows in Numbers, and I'm trying to use Mail Merge to transfer the data to Pages. After the merge is complete, however, I'm left with one page per name/address, rather than one page with multiple addresses.
Is there a way to resolve this? I'm not creating mailing labels, but it follows the same concept. Is it possible to insert some sort of "next record" field, so that the data moves to the next row in Numbers?

Use Find and Replace to replace the Section Break character codes with nothing (empty replace field). The document will then collapse with as many records per page as will fit.

Availabilty check rule during STO Delivery

I have one requirement. As per our business process, all materials have to be posted in QI stock, so setting in Purchasing view has already been done. Now when we are creating STO DO by TA - VL10B, it gives error while creating DO when U stock is zero.
We have checked settings in availability check rule , TA - OMJJ for our availability check and checking rule 'B' for Delivery Here the check box "include Q stock" is deactivated. We don't want to activate it as it will affect SD processes.
We dont want to use transfer posting for QI stock to U.
Can you guys please give me some other alternative to archive this??

To assign Delivery type to checking rule :
Goto SPRO->Materials AMnagement-> Purchasing->Purchase Order->Se Up stock transport Order-> Asssign Delivery type and checking Rule.
Here you can assign your required Checking rule to the delivery type .
To change the behaviour of the message : Note the message Number from the transaction and search for it in
Purchasing->Environment Data-> Define Attributes of sstem messages .
Here you can change from E(Error) to W(Warning) mesage.

Maximum Royalty check in during Create Rebate Agreement( vbo1 transaction)

Hi experts,
There is need to implement a maximum royalty check for a particular material.
This maximum percentage is stored in the material master itself.( Say 10 %)
When a Rebate Agreement is created / changed a particular amount is entered against a pricelist.
Now the check to be implemented is that the amount entered against each material should not exceed the maximum percentage defined for that material.
Additionally this check should handle the scale check.
Is this check can be done through a BADI / Exit or functionally.
Any idea on how to handle this would be of great help.

InDesign Crashing During Data Merge?

Is anyone having any issues with InDesign CS3 crashing while doing a data merge with Excel? Microsoft had some updates with the Office products and I'm wondering if one of the updates has caused a communication problem between the two?

I do it pretty often using CS3 and csv files. As I recall, a broken network path to the source caused me a problem once.
At what point is the crash? You could have a corrupt file, create a new one and test. Elsewise, there could be a character within the data source. Are you using .csv source files (I do but many, especially Mac users, go with .txt source files).
