Question

i want to take the "yearselect, genderselect, and stateselect" objects and put them into their own arraylists. but i cant get them out of the class and into the other class. i probably sound like an idiot, but im new to progrmaming.

Are you saying that you want to extract details from the comboboxes in the MYActionListener class and pass them to the ButtonListener class? If yes then I suggest you sit back and rethink your strategy as it smells a lot like bad design.
Also, do not mark your post as "Urgent, quick, drop everything you are doing and give me an answer because I am more important than you and you are all my slaves". That just pisses people off.
