Simple SQL "Join" to get the Countries based on Values

Have a Table with Fields Country, Dc13, Jn14....Dc14. Values on Dc13 and Dc14 are 0 or >0.
To get the same Countries with Values i use the query that works fine:
SELECT Tb1.Country
FROM Tb1
WHERE (((Tb1.Dc13)>0) AND ((Tb1.Dc14)>0))
GROUP BY Tb1.Country
I'm trying to compare and get the countries that have Value in Dc14 but 0 in Dc13. Something like that below that i cant configure:
SELECT Tb1.Country
FROM Tb1
JOIN Tb1.Dc14 ON Tb1.Dc13 = Tb1.Dc14
WHERE (((Tb1.Dc13)>0) AND ((Tb1.Dc14)>0))
GROUP BY Tb1.Country

  • Use SQL function to get the original order number using the invoice number

    Hi All,
wondering is someone can help me with this challenge I am having?  Often I need to return the original order numbers that created the resulting invoce.  This is a relatively simple seriese of joins in a query but I am wanting to simplify it using a SQL function that can be referenced each time easily from with in the SELECT statement.  the code i currently have is:
Use SQL function to get the original order number using the invoice number
    CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(@InvNum int)
    RETURNS nvarchar(200)
    AS
    BEGIN
    DECLARE @OrderList nvarchar(200)
    SET @OrderList = ''
    SELECT @OrderList = @OrderList + (cast(T6.DocNum AS nvarchar(10)) + ' ')
FROM  OINV AS T1 INNER JOIN
          INV1 AS T2 ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry INNER JOIN
          DLN1 AS T4 ON T2.BaseEntry = T4.DocEntry AND T2.BaseLine = T4.LineNum INNER JOIN
          RDR1 AS T5 ON T4.BaseEntry = T5.DocEntry AND T4.BaseLine = T5.LineNum INNER JOIN
          ORDR AS T6 ON T5.DocEntry = T6.DocEntry
    WHERE T1.DocNum = @InvNum
    RETURN @OrderList
    END
it is run by the following query:
    Select T1.DocNum, dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(T1.DocNum)
    From OINV T1
Where T1.DocNum = 'your invoice number here'
The issue is that this returns the order number for all of the lines in the invoice.  Only want to see the summary of the order numbers.  ie if 3 orders were used to make a 20 line inovice I only want to see the 3 order numbers retuned in the field.
If this was a simple reporting SELECT query I would use SELECT DISTINCT.  But I can't do that.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Thanks Gordon,
I am trying to get away from the massive table access list everytime I write a query where I need to access the original order number of the invoice.  However, I have managed to solve my own problem with a GROUP BY statement!
Others may be interested so, the code is this:
    CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(@InvNum int)
    RETURNS nvarchar(200)
    AS
    BEGIN
    DECLARE @OrderList nvarchar(200)
    SET @OrderList = ''
    SELECT @OrderList = @OrderList + (cast(T6.DocNum AS nvarchar(10)) + ' ')
FROM  OINV AS T1 INNER JOIN
          INV1 AS T2 ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry INNER JOIN
          DLN1 AS T4 ON T2.BaseEntry = T4.DocEntry AND T2.BaseLine = T4.LineNum INNER JOIN
          RDR1 AS T5 ON T4.BaseEntry = T5.DocEntry AND T4.BaseLine = T5.LineNum INNER JOIN
          ORDR AS T6 ON T5.DocEntry = T6.DocEntry
    WHERE T1.DocNum = @InvNum
    GROUP BY T6.DocNum
    RETURN @OrderList
    END
and to call it use this:
    Select T1.DocNum, dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(T1.DocNum)
    From OINV T1
Where T1.DocNum = 'your invoice number'

  • How to correctly perform a join to get the desired output

    Hi,
I have the following query which gives me the desired output.
    SELECT
    Cast(TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM As Varchar) As LOCATION_NUM,
    Cast(TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT As Varchar) As DATE_SHORT,
    'Store' As DRIVER_TYPE,
    'OPS GOAL' As DRIVER,
    SUM(OPS_GOAL) As ROW_TOTAL
    FROM Planning.TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL
    left outer join
    edw.Calendar.TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.DATE_KEY = TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_KEY
    left outer join
    [EDW].[Location].[TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW]
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM = TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_NUM
where TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_TYPE_DESC = 'FULL PRICE STORE'
    group by
    TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM,
    TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT
    order by LOCATION_NUM desc
    , DATE_SHORT desc
The output of the above query will be like this
    3646 2014-04-17 Store OPS GOAL 2598.00000
    3646 2014-04-16 Store OPS GOAL 2475.00000
    3646 2014-04-15 Store OPS GOAL 2497.00000
    3646 2014-04-14 Store OPS GOAL 2691.00000
But the problem with this query is it brings back the OPS Goal for all the dates, but i have to limit the OPS goals to some particular date range which must match to this table Staging.TEDW_S_EMPOWER.So,I made the above query join to this table like this
    SELECT
    Cast(TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM As Varchar) As LOCATION_NUM,
    Cast(TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT As Varchar) As DATE_SHORT,
    'Store' As DRIVER_TYPE,
    'OPS GOAL' As DRIVER,
    SUM(OPS_GOAL) As ROW_TOTAL
    FROM Planning.TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL
    left outer join
    edw.Calendar.TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.DATE_KEY = TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_KEY
    left outer join
    [EDW].[Location].[TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW]
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM = TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_NUM
    left outer join
    Staging.TEDW_S_EMPOWER
    on TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT = TEDW_S_EMPOWER.DATE_SHORT
    and TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM = TEDW_S_EMPOWER.LOCATION_NUM
where TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_TYPE_DESC = 'FULL PRICE STORE'
    group by
    TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM,
    TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT
    having TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT between MIN(TEDW_S_EMPOWER.date_short) and MAX(TEDW_S_EMPOWER.date_short)
    order by LOCATION_NUM desc
    , DATE_SHORT desc
Now the output of this query will be like this
    3646 2014-04-17 Store OPS GOAL 7794.00000
    3646 2014-04-16 Store OPS GOAL 7425.00000
    3646 2014-04-15 Store OPS GOAL 7491.00000
    3646 2014-04-14 Store OPS GOAL 8073.00000
If you can observe the OPS Goal Sum values have changed drastically, i was able to limit the date range i wanted but now i dont get the correct OPS Goal values.
Can someone please help me with this?
    Thanks

    Hi RJP,
Yes you are absolutely correct, in the "Staging.TEDW_S_EMPOWER"
we have 3 rows for every date and location,so i changed my second sql to be something like this
    SELECT
    Cast(TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM As Varchar) As LOCATION_NUM,
    Cast(TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT As Varchar) As DATE_SHORT,
    'Store' As DRIVER_TYPE,
    'OPS GOAL' As DRIVER,
    SUM(OPS_GOAL) /3 As ROW_TOTAL
    FROM Planning.TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL
    cross join
    EDW.Utility.TEDW_J_PROCESS_DATE
    inner join
    edw.Calendar.TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.DATE_KEY = TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_KEY
    left outer join
    [EDW].[Location].[TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW]
    ON TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM = TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_NUM
    left outer join
    Staging.TEDW_S_EMPOWER
    on TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT = TEDW_S_EMPOWER.DATE_SHORT
    and TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM = TEDW_S_EMPOWER.LOCATION_NUM
where TEDW_D_LOCATION_TYPE_1_NEW.LOCATION_TYPE_DESC = 'FULL PRICE STORE'
    group by
    TEDW_F_STORE_OPS_GOAL.LOCATION_NUM,
    TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT
    having TEDW_D_DATE_TYPE_1.DATE_SHORT between MIN(TEDW_S_EMPOWER.date_short) and MAX(TEDW_S_EMPOWER.date_short)
    order by LOCATION_NUM desc
    , DATE_SHORT desc
Now i receive the correct values as i am doing divided
by 3,but may be in the future the empower tablemay have more than 3 ,is there any other effective way i can do this?
below is the sample query and sample data from empower table.
    select * from Staging.TEDW_S_EMPOWER
    where DATE_SHORT = '2014-04-17'
    and LOCATION_NUM = 3020
    DRIVER_TYPE DRIVER DATE_SHORT

  • SQL query to get the Datetime 06 hours prior to the table Datetime value

    Hi Experts,
I'm just trying to create a SQL query to get the Datetime which should be 06 hours prior to my Table column value(Executiontime),
Eg: my Executiontime(column) value is 07:00AM means, this query should fetch the detail of first VMName from table at 01:00AM,
    SQL Table Name: TestTable
    Columns: VMName(varchar),status(varchar) Executiontime(Datetime)
SQL Query : Select Top 1 VMName from
    TestTable where convert(date,Exeutiontime)=convert(date,getdate()) and
    status='0' and ExecutionTime > dateadd(hour,6,getdate())
Request someone to alter this Query to my requirement or give me the new one.
    Regards,

    Hi All,
Thanks for your Prompt response. I tried the below queries, but still I don't have any luck. Actually the queries are returning the value before the condition met (say when the time difference is more than 06 hours). I want the
query to return exactly @ 06 hour difference or less than 06 hours,
Query 01: Select Top 1 VMName from TestTable where
    convert(date,Exeutiontime)=convert(date,getdate())
    and status='0'
    and ExecutionTime >
    dateadd(hour,-6,getdate())
    Query 02: Select
Top 1 VMName from TestTable where
    status='0'
    and ExecutionTime >
    dateadd(hour,-6,getdate())
    Query 03: Select
Top 1 VMName from TestTable where status='0'
    and ExecutionTime >
    dateadd(hour,-6,ExecutionTime)
Can someone point out the mistake please.

  • SQL query to get the list of approvals

    Hi,
Could someone let me know the SQL query to get the list of all the pending approvals for a user in OIM 11g R2.
    Thanks

There are a few ways to do this:
    -  The easiest would be to use a Relationship Query from the CMC. To do this, go to the Universes section on the CMC, right click on the relevant universe, select tools >> Check Relationships.
    - Use Query Builder. You will need more than one query to pull the information you need. You could try something like the below (for Webi)
    SELECT SI_NAME, SI_WEBI, SI_DATACONNECTION FROM CI_APPOBJECTS
    WHERE SI_KIND = 'universe' and SI_NAME = 'Universe Name'
This will give you a list of Webi Reports by SI_ID.
You'll need another query to list Webi report names:
SELECT SI_NAME FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_ID IN (SI_ID from query above)
    - This is trivial via Auditing / the Activity universe. This of course will only return reports that have already run.
    Best.

  • How to get the logged in userId value in adf task flow OIM11g R2

    Hi,
I have created an adf task flow. Now I want to run some query in that based on the logged in userId.
Could you please help me in knowing how to get the logged in userID value in adf TaskFlow so that I can run a parameterized query.
    Thanks

3 different ways to retrieve the username (not sure what you mean by user ID) :
    http://mahmoudoracle.blogspot.be/2012/06/adf-get-current-logged-user-name.html#.USI_c-h8zIo
    Also provide your JDev version.
Basicly, you should use the groovy expression in a view criteria (it's the fastest and easiest way) and call that view criteria whenever you need it.
That's if you are using ADF BC of course.

  • How to get the latest credit limit values per each customer in the report.

    Hi All,
Can anybody give me an idea on how to get the latest credit limit values per each customer in the report.
    I have below requiremnt.
I have cube which is having transactional data on document and customer level .and it also having master data info object in the cube which is credit management view having all the customer numbers .
This credit management view is master data info object having credit limit key figure as attribute. These credit limit are per each customer.
So we need these credit limits in the report as dynamic values .(I mean whatever be the current credit limit in the master data table for that paricular customer that should show up in the reporting).
one more thing these credit limits should roll up correctly at the HTR level.
One HTR having number of customers .
for example HTR 100 can have customer number 200,300,400.
Those 200,300,400 customer credit limits should roolup correctly at the HTR 100 level.
    Example below :
    Cube DATA :
HTR Customer Doct number Credit managment view
    100 200 10001 200
    100 200 10002 200
    100 300 10004 300
    100 300 10005 300
    100 400 10006 400
    100 400 10007 400
    100 400 10008 400
Master data tabel (P Table)(Credit managment view)
    Credit managment view Credit limits
    200 1000.00
    300 50000.00
    400 90000.00
    Please remeber :
We can not make these credit limits as navigational becasue these are keyfigure attributes not characteristics.
one more thing we can not make them as charatistics because we need use these credit limits to derive other calkculation. so it is not possibel to derive calculations on charactristics .

Create a formula variable of type replacement path with reference as attibutes of Credit management view and choose your key figure credit limit, say zcredit.
Now create a formula or CKF and use zcredit.
This should display the credit limit in your report as normal key figure.
I didnot get this part "one more thing these credit limits should roll up correctly at the HTR level.", may be the above will solve this too.Try it.
    Hope this helps.

You get a set of table names from a query, say
    select table_name from all_tab_columns where column_name like 'DC_I’;

    B
    C
Now, for the above set of tables (A,B and C), you need to get the count(*) for a single dc_i value (say XXX DC)

    select count(*) from A where dc_i=XXX;
    select count(*) from B where dc_i=XXX;
    select count(*) from C where dc_i=XXX;

  • SQL Query to get the # of files in folders in a library

Anyone has the SQL query to list the number of files in each folders in a SharePoint library?

Technically it's a grey area of support as MS don't mind you doing it but won't help you if you encounter problems, the script is much better though.
Scratch that, the script isn't that good. It's using .items which won't work on large lists and is slow. The version below is untested but should be significantly faster and work on large lists.
    $starttime = Get-Date
    #Creating new site object

  • Getting the data based on dates

    Hi All,
In my application i am not able to retrieve the data from database between two dates.
while entering the dates i am entring using :
    + "',to_date('+ fromdate+ "','DD-Mon-YYYY HH24:MI:SS'),"
as in database i have kept my fromdate type as "varchar2"
So while selecting data i have written the query as :
    String sqlQuery =
                                  "select SID,SERVER_NAME,DOWNTIMETYPE,FROMDATE,TODATE,FROMTIME,TOTIME,TIMETAKEN,DOWN_REASON from SS_UPDOWNTIME where (FROMDATE >='"
    + frmdate
    + "'  OR  (FROMDATE between '"
    + frmdate
    + "' and '"
    + todate
    + "')) ";
but i am not able to get the data between the two selected dates
    Regards,
    Anupama

    Hi Anupama,
'between' wont work because you have taken dates as varchar2.
    Just try like this.
Take "Date" type in database and in java take java.sql.Date
    java.sql.Date sqlDefaultDate = new java.sql.Date(System.currentTimeMillis());
    System.out.println("sqlDate: "+sqlDefaultDate);
//  this will be in the format 2008-11-13 , So we can pass sqlDefaultDate variable to backend
    Regards,
    Lakshmi Prasad.
