Since i changed my pw, itunes radio hasn't worked, neither has any streaming from itunes to my Apple TV... Please help

I've restarted every device, signed out and signed back in, its not an issue w my wifi cuz it also happens on LTE on my phone.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you have changed your Apple ID password but you cannot stream to your Apple TV nor use the iTunes Radio, despite having restarted the device, and signing out of and back into Settings > iTunes and App Stores. I would next try closing all the open apps on your phone.

Swipe the app up to close it.
Then reset the network settings on the phone:

    I found this strange glitch that wouldn't let me open my iTunes Store. I tried all the reset options and still iTunes would close a second after it opened. I fixed this. Instead of using the iTunes Store icon on your home page to open it. Go into music and click on store. It will say "Cannot Connect To Store". Just tap ok. Then tap on "featured" on the bottom of the screen. That will take you to the store front page. After that is loaded. Back out and the icon for iTunes Store on the home page should work just fine. Hope that helps.

    There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
    You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
    Back up all data before making any changes.
    One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
    If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
    Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
    Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
    In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
    Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
              Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
              Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.

    Restart from your Mac OS X installation disc (for the OS release you are running). You do so by inserting the disc and restarting with the C key held down.
    When you get to the first Installer screen (after language selection), go up to the Installer menu to Utilities, and select to run Disk Utility. Use the +Repair Disk+ routine. Note any reported errors, and if they are repaired. If there are no errors, or if they are reported but repaired, use the +Repair Disk Permissions+ routine. Normally, you should do +Repair Disk Permissions+ while started up normally, but since you had issues with iTunes and now starting up, I think you should do it now, while booted from the optical drive.
    After repairs are completed, quit Disk Utilities and attempt to restart again.

  • Problem streaming FROM iTunes to Apple TV

    I recently reinstalled windows on my computer, and copied the old iTunes settings to my new installation. Everything works fine, except for streaming from iTunes to my Apple TV 2. I have no problems when using my Apple TV to select podcasts or music in the Library on my computer, they play fine. However, when I use iTunes to play these podcasts or songs on my Apple TV (using Airplay) they have constant hiccups. Every 20-30 seconds, the sound stutters. My wifi connection is not the problem, the Apple TV, computer and router are all in the same room close to eachother (and I have the maximum number of bars on my wifi connection).
    I have read somewhere that it may be related to old network preferences kept by iTunes, and have tried to delete the old com.apple.iTunes.plist file, but this did not help.
    Does anybody have any idea to solve this annoying problem?

    I am amazed as well. I have spent days and hours trying to figure this out! I believe it is a software glitch that allows sesitivity to vary! Signal strength stays @100%, there are no other houses for 50 yards in a wooded environment and no other electronic devices to possibly interfere with the signal. With only 20 feet seperating airport and apple tv you would think it would be stable. This is more then disappointing. With my system the same thing happens as with yours?? Apple says interference but I know that is not the case. I had the same problem at 3 in the morning and this place is dead at 3 in the morning. Not even a car!! Sometimes iTunes just drops off station and apple tv stays synced can't explain that either??

    iTunes STORE not “connectable” with my otherwise perfectly-working internet connection, viable, up and running for all other uses.
    Simply put, firstly, I can't connect to the internet when I click on Radio.  People are quite suspicious that this is Apple incompetence or your company's famous arrogance for this commonly-suffered problem that you won't or “can’t” fix.
    Read the many web comments and you won’t be pleased with yourselves: the suspicion is that if you ruin internet radio on iTunes, Apple will somehow make more money on music downloads, etc. Bull.
    Also, thirdly, my old playlist of 20 or so internet radio stations in the Ambient category STILL PLAYS !
    Then fourth, I installed the latest available version of QuickTime Player 7.app Version 7.6.6 but it didn’t solve the problem either. I had QuickTime Player.app Version 10.2, but substituted what Apple website said was the latest, LOWER NUMBERED QuickTime Player version of 7.6.6
    Fifth, I can't connect to iTunes store no matter what I do or what user group's advice I try. So I can’t buy or download anything from iTunes. Bad for business.
    Sixth, I updated to the latest version of iTunes but this weird problem remains. All suggested Apple fixes or user group fixes are useless. Where is Apple’s famous technical competency, vaunted customer support?, and user-friendly product reputation? Get it back, please.
    Solve this problem of yours ASAP for us, your numerous disgruntled, dissatisfied customers of iTunes. You can do better, should, and really –in all fairness- must.

    Apple ACCOUNT ID, and iTunes ID password, works but not to access iTunes with my healthy internet connection.

    Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down.  You'll get 3 options.
    Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.

    Do you mean Radio is not displayed?
    Preferences Tick the Radio option at the top
    Click on Parental to ensure you do not have radio blocked there.
    Then Radio appears under Music along with Songs, Album, Artist etc

    There is an issue with Photoshop specifically related to recent updates in which causes the licensing to revert to trial after a certain number of launches (typically 2-3).
    The current workarounds are to either:
    - Sign in with your Adobe ID again every few launches
    - Uninstall Photoshop CS6 and then reinstall it but don't install any of the updates
    The issue with the updates is planned to be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.
