Also when I click on the link in my email to activate my account (in the hopes that a solve will be emailed to me) I get this message -
"Something is wrong
We could not activate your account. Please make sure that you have clicked the correct link in your email or typed in the correct address."
Same message if I cut and paste the link.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

HT1386 Since the new update I have been unable to sync my iTouch with iTunes
A month ago I downloaded some new music and synced it to my iTouch no problem. It seems like since the new update I have been unable to sync BOTH of my iTouch's to my iTunes. When I connect the iTouch to the computer it shows up but not in iTunes. I have redownloaded iTunes with no help. It just keeps showing up as if nothing is attached.

Since updating to ios7.0.2 on my i-phone5 I have been unable to open the i-tunes store app, basically it just opens for a second or two then shuts itself down, I've tried a soft reset, turning on and off, closing down all running apps but nothing seems to work, anyone else had the same problem and no how to fix it?

It sounds like iTunes launches for a split second, then quits unexpectedly.
I would recommend a few things for this issue. First, close all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone:

I didn't want to step on your toes. No need to get personal.
Subpanels make some additional code necessary that hasn't got to do anything with the actual program. And I AM using subIVs as I wrote in my first post, which is exactly the root of the problem.
Nevertheless I now solved it in a way that comes close to what I wanted. I don't know if some of you meant your suggestions to be understood that way (at least I didn't ). The subVIs will now "insert" themselves (via invoke node) into a subpanel on the main vi, which they are given a reference of at call. This adds minimal aditional code, especially on the main VI which I want to keep as clean as possible. By clustering the panel reference into the parameters the subVIs are already given (not used in the example I attached below), there isn't even a change on the terminals of the subVIs.
I got to check now if this works well with event structures within the subVIs or if it can create the same problems like multiple event structures within a single VI.
So no global variables anymore and no writing values by property node. I don't know if this just wasn't possible in previous Labview versions I had a try at that (I guess it was 8.6 and/or 2009) or I just didn't come up with the idea back then.

Since the last update to Firefox, I have had crashes non stop about every ten minutes or so, with very typical use. The update SUCKS and is crashing computers. I am SURE I am not the only one. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. I have been a Firefox user forever, but now going to Chrome and Explorer until I hear from you about fixing this issue. Never before have I had this problem with Firefox. Bums me out. But I can't deal with the constant crashes and it is ABSOLUTELY since the last update a day or two ago.

Hello. Since my last firefox update, I have been unable to type an email - the box within which one would usually type does not appear when I press 'reply' to a received email, or press 'compose'. The email provider is '123-reg.co.uk. I have been using both firefox and the provider ['webfusion Ltd/webmail123] successfully for well over a year. The provider says it is a browser problem. I can still add an attachment to the email header, which successfully can be sent, but the recipient gets my standard email 'signature' with font messages and the attachment. Can anyone help? About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Firefox is my default browser and since the most recent Firefox update I have been unable to click through links I receive from Windows Live Email to the Firefox browser, but it works if my browser is set to IE9?? I have checked the defaults settings and both are fine, so Any explanations or ideas on how to solve this?
Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
Restart the router. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 2
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 3
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 4
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.
Step 5
You may need to change other settings on the router. See the guidelines linked below:

Since installing the latest software update I have been unable to access my mail app.the screen appears blank?
Force close the mail app and reset your iPad. See if that fixes it.
In order to close the mail app, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the mail app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Since upgrading to Mavericks, I have been unable to sync devices (specifically ipad mini and iphone 4s) to my MId 2013 Imac . They wil rapidly connect and disconnect, and I'm unable to do anything with the device. This happens with both USB ports. Any suggestions?

Problems since the last update and unable to remove program from comp...
I haven't been able to run itunes since the last update. Anytime I try to run it, it gives me the preparing to install window and then a little while afterwards, says that the folder program files contains an invalid character. I tried moving the program out of the that folder even as far as to the desktop as the help topic suggested. I have tried removing the program from the comp, but it won't let me do that because of the same reason it won't run itunes. I am at a loss of what to do. I can't seem to be able to repair it nor can I remove it and reinstall. I really don't want a defunct program just eating space on my comp. Please help.
Can you install any program? If so can you install the MS cleanup utility?

since the last update a few days ago of firefox, the time has been 25 to 35 seconds to enter bookmarks or even the time it takes to page down when it used to take a few seconds. can you tell me why it taking so long since the update on firefox. may another update is in order.

I have managed to get FireFox's start-up memory usage down to about 100,000K, however it appears that memory usage keeps creeping up the longer FireFox is open. (It seems to top out around 500,000K.) And I'm not talking open for many hours or days - but rather for minutes and possibly up to a couple hours. (Based on how long I've been fiddling with all this so far.)
On the plus side, it does not appear GreaseMonkey is the culprit since with it active or disabled this memory creep still occurs. Although having GreaseMonkey enabled definitely increases the rate of memory creep. Though once it has creeped up to 150,000+K, disabling GM does not make it drop back down to the starting 100,000K.
I should point out I run a MacBook Pro and use Bootcamp to partition the hard drive and run it as a Windows 7 PC about half the time. I am running it literally as a PC or, alternately, as a Mac depending on which hard drive I choose to load. (I'm not "windowing" it.) This problem exists regardless of whether I am using the PC or the Mac. These repairs have been made currently on the PC side, and I will attempt them all again on the Mac side. I find it odd that this enormous memory drain has occurred on 3 different computers at the same time. (The two "halves" of my home laptop as well as the PC at my work place.)
