Since upgrading to FF6 and now through FF7 web pages need repeated refreshing to load this does not happen with other browsers. I have tried many solutions. None have worked. Any ideas?

Problem began after a Firefox 6 update (i do not remember which one) and has continued through current use of Firefox 7.0.1. Almost all '''web pages load only through repeated refreshing'''. If I do not refresh the web page it will just continue to try to load (as seen by the green rotating ring continually revolving) in a new window with a new tab (as I have set it to do). Nothing stops, nothing crashes. Once the web page completes and opens (after the refreshings) I can close the window click on the bookmark icon or originating link and the web page will load and open quickly (as it should). I have searched for solutions on the Mozilla site and have done many of the possible solutions (deleting history and caches, etc.) Problem seems to be communication in origin (my FF browser talking to web page server). I do not use a proxy. My set up to the internet is: laptop thru Verizon USB modem to internet. Operates as a wireless dial-up with speeds averaging 55 kbs (fast enough for me). I have used this set up for years with no previous trouble. Anyone have similar trouble, ideas or solutions?

This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message. In fact, in the same screen I can often open an email from the same sender with email intact. This is weird. Sometimes I close the page and open a new page. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is a very annoying thing.

When you start Messages fro the first time you are asked for an Apple ID
When this is verified and entered it appears in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts and is Enabled.
The App should have also picked on on those iChat Accounst you had before.
These should be Enabled if they were when you last used iChat.
Exactly which "Accounts" are logged in can be seen in Message Menu > Accounts and will include the iMessage "Account" and Bonjour.
In the Window menu you will see CMD +0 for the Messages window and CMD+1 for the "Buddies" window which is a combined list at this stage.
Go to the Preferences > General Section and Untick the "Collect all accounts into one list".
This will give you separate iChat type Buddy lists.
You can check if that account/Buddy list is set to Invisible or if in the Preferences > Accounts > Security you have settings that will block some people from seeing you as On line.
You are saying Buddies can see you as On Line which implies they are still sending to your AIM based Names (@Mac.com is a valid AIM Screen Name)
I am not sure from your post if you are trying to iMessage their email IDs thinking they are Apple IDs and that they are using Messages as well.
There is no Buddy list for iMessages side
No-one can tell you are "On Line" until they have your details in the "To" spot in Messages with the correct iMessaged contact info (iPhone Number or Apple ID)
Obviously an Apple ID can be an email or look like one.
In some cases they are also valid AIM Screen Names as well.
In the case or the @mac.com name you may have linked this Apple ID to iMessages as well.

You have to look at the email protocol being used. the Apple email system uses IMAP, does Tinyworld use IMAP or POP?
Does the email system permit delivery receipts to be requested?

You can try a direct connection and select No Proxy in the connection settings.
You can find the connection settings in "Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection"
Also do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.

I can write and send emails in Yahoo mail when I use Internet Explorer. But I hate Internet Explorer. I've tried both things, but video still stutters.. Have also tried removing profile, and complete reinstall of firefox.
I'm on 24 Mbit cable and the only user atm. IE and Chrome seems to work without stuttering.
I've having this stuttering every ~5th second, like a small "1/4 sec buffering".

When I open another window the cursor defaults to the bottom of the page instead of the top why and how can I fix it? It is a pain to have to keep scrolling to the top all the time. This does not happen with Chrome or IE.

I can send you a screen shot if that would be helpful.
I have noticed that the emails sent out of S1 always default to the end
of the message so we need to scroll up to edit what we've written. Most
of the time I need to edit the text near the top of an email so although
it is a very minor thing, it is a bit irritating.

In Firefox 4 the cursor is placed automatically at the end of a text area. 
Easiest to go to the top is by using Ctrl+Home

When I respond to an email (through hotmail), the initial email does not appear in my response. This does not happen with internet explorer where I can see the email I am answering. I would like this to happen with Firefox. It used to.

Since upgrading to FF6 and now through FF7 web pages need repeated refreshing to load this does not happen with other browsers. I have tried many solutions. None have worked. Any ideas?
