Sip server settings Nokia E63

Hi, I want sip settings of actionvoip in my Nokia E63 i wanna make new server profile plz help me if every one know this problem... I shall b very thankful to you for that.

I recommend the following steps for setting up your Nokia E63 for VoIP over Wifi (and perhaps for other S60 based phones as well), for Voip.ms, the realm settings were the same as the others:
How to configure SIP profile in Nokia Eseries devices for VoIP calls?
This text is a cut-and-paste from Nokia's FAQ.
The Nokia Eseries mobile devices support SIP VoIP internet calls. This article describes a sample configuration when user authentication is enabled in the SIP proxy and registrar servers. The proxy and registrar servers are located in the same device in this sample.
Before configuring the mobile device, the following information should be obtained from the SIP service provider (some other parameter values may also need to be checked if not using the default values):
SIP proxy and registrar server address ("sip.voipservice.com" in this sample)
SIP proxy realm ("inphone.com" in this sample)
SIP registrar realm ("sip.voiceservice.com" in this sample)
User name ("1234567" in this sample for both the proxy and registrar)
User password ("1234")
Public user name ("[email protected]" in this sample)
In order to establish a VoIP call, a WLAN access point needs to be defined in the mobile device access point settings and the mobile device must be within the reach of the WLAN network.
Start the mobile device SIP configuration by going to menu Tools > Settings > Connection > Sip Settings and by creating a new SIP profile. The following parameters are defined in the profile:
Profile name: Siptest (can be freely chosen)
Service profile: IETF
Default access point: WLAN access point used for the VoIP connections
Public user name: [email protected] (note that the public user name must be given in this format, including the domain name)
Use compression: no
Registration: when needed (set "always on" if you want the registration to occur automatically)
Use security: no
Proxy Server:
Proxy Server Address: sip.voipservice.com
Realm: inphone.com
User name: 1234567
Password: 1234
Allow loose routing: yes
Transport type: UDP
Port: 5060
Registrar:
Registrar Server Address: sip.voipservice.com
Realm: sip.voipservice.com
User name: 1234567
Password: 1234
Allow loose routing: yes
Transport type: UDP
Port: 5060
Note that the realm name is often the same for both the proxy and registrar but the name may also be different, as in this sample. If the registrar realm name is not correctly defined, the registration will fail. If the realm name of the proxy is not correct, the registration may succeed but the internet calls will fail.

    What WLAN Wizard?
If you want to connect to WLAN, just go to the connections in settings, and choose WLAN. Refresh the list and connect to any which is available. If you see none, you're in a wireless-free area.

Because the absent of this data indicates bigger issues, did you consider the Nokia Software Recovery Tool on a Windows computer already? If you are just about updating, did you consider the Nokia Suite already?

  • Can't send audio messages from Nokia E63 to email ...

I used to send audio messages from my mobile to my friend's email, and it worked fine.
But some days ago it stopped working. I keep on seeing this whenever I try to send audio message.
"In order to send/download MM messages, the current active connection may be closed (this may affect other applications in use). Do you want to continue ?"
When I disconnected connection, it fails to send again. I saw this message:
"Multimedia message cannot be sent. Packet data connection not available"
It is impossible for me to send the audio message if I close the connection because I'm not having internet in my phone.
I have been using packet data connection to send all the messages to email all the time and it went OK. I got that problem just a few days ago and I cannot send any audio messages now.
I can still send normal emails (non-audio message) from my phone through packet data connection though.
The problem is only when sending the audio message.
I'm using Nokia E63 and I'm in the UAE.
    My mobile provider is "Du".
I use packet data connection from "MyWorld"
I don't have any other packet data connections. I had many but now, MyWorld is the only one in my phone.
Please help me how can I do it.

    Automatic configuration.
Your mobile will be automatically configured to access the MyWorld mobile portal when you first join du.
You will receive an SMS message, which you should accept and save.
You can also request for these settings by sending the following SMS message “du” to 333 or by calling Customer Care on 155.
Availability of the MyWorld mobile portal and of the relevant settings is dependent on your handset type.
For more information on MyWorld, call 155 from your mobile or visit us at www.du.ae
    This might do the trick.

  • Need help: Nokia E63 - Putting "Draft" messages to...

Hello everyone I have a Nokia E63 which my mom gave to me 'cause my 5610 was broken. (R.I.P 5610) so she gave me this phone, but before my 5610 broke, I backed up my saved messages (using ovi suite). Those are very important messages.
So when I backed it up, then my phone broke, then I got the E63, and I saw there are no "saved messages" instead there are "My Folders". And Inside that there's a "Template" folder just like in The saved messages folder. Then I opened Nokia OVI suite, I run the backup of the 5610, and surprisingly it stored the messages. But the messages inside "Saved Messages" was put to the "drafts" folder of my Nokia E63.
So here's the problem. I tried to "Mark All" of the messages in the drafts, then Options, but there was no "Move to folder" or "Move" .. So I created a new folder in "My folders" then I tried marking all again, but there was no "Move" option. So my problem is I need to move those messages in the "Drafts" to "My folders" because THOSE are not drafts and It looks dirty when I see it in my drafts so I wanted to move it to a folder.
Help please? I have searched google but there was no problem like mine.. So I really need your help guys.

    Hi kwjaramillo.
Have you checked the Message Centre number? Contact your service provider to obtain the number, and then update it in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text message -> Message Centres.
Did you try a SIM from another Service provider? If the new one works, contact your service provider for help.
You can try these steps one by one, if the steps above do not help:
    1. Turn off your phone, leave your battery and SIM out for 5-10minutes and put everything back in and turn it on .
    2. Restore factory settings: type *#7780# at the standby screen. Enter 12345 for the security code or the one you've changed it to.
Before you try the next two steps, backup your phone memory using PC Suite.
    3. Soft reset: This will clean up your phone memory. All user data, applications etc stored in the phone memory will be destroyed. Type *#7370#. Enter the security code when prompted
    4. Hard reset: This is the last resort. Turn off your phone, press and hold down these keys: 3, * and the call (Green) button. Turn on your phone without releasing them. Leave the keys only after you see the region selection screen.
    5. Reinstall the firmware: Download and install the latest Nokia Software Updater from the Nokia website. Connect to the internet, connect your phone to the PC and run NSU. Follow on-screen instructions carefully. Make sure you have a full battery and a stable PC before you proceed.
Do post back your results... Good luck
    Cheers,

  • SIP VoIP Settings energy consumption under 3G Vs W...

    Hi everybody.
I'm suffering big pain with "SIP VoIP Settings" (SIP_VoIP_3_x_Settings_v2_0_en) because eats my E52 battery in a while (few hours).
    The fact:
    E52-1: 054.003.280.1 RM-469
Stand by mode under my 3G: 20 mWatt (5 mA). Figures are averages of one hour took with: Nokia_Energy_Profiler_v1_2_en.
Connection with my VoIP provider using "SIP VoIP Settings" under my WiFi: 41 mW (10 mA)
Connection with my VoIP provider using "SIP VoIP Settings" under my 3G: 297 mW (107 mA).
The ratio between 3G and WiFi is 8-10 times!
Nokia is aware of this issue (cfr. http://www.google.it/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CEUQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fr...) and I wonder if 5 years later there is a solution to it.
Anybody has an idea about obtimal configuration of "SIP VoIP Settings"?
    Best regards.

  • Unable to connect to SIP server

    Hi,
    Need some assistance here.(using E71)
When i try to connect to a SIP Server(USING Sip Express Router), it failed to get registered. From the sniffing via the ethereal(WIFI), the Flow are follow :
    1. UA request register request to sip server
    2. Sip Server reply with : Status : 401 Unauthorised
In a actually environment, the UA should have the 3rd steps where it re-sent the reqgister request with the username and password.
But somehow, nokia E71 is not doing it.
    any suggestion?
    P/S : http://www.sipcenter.com/sip.nsf/html/SIP+Application+Server+Functionality
(it shows how the UA should connect to the Server)

The problem could be the router or its firewall, but it could also be that your Indian isp is blocking voip connections.  There have been reports that this is not unknown in India.  Sometimes this type of blocking is done by discarding packets destined to the standard voip sip signalling port 5060. You can easily change the sip signalling port in the SPA3102 for the packets coming back to the SPA and in fact routers often changes the port without your knowledge, but packets going to the voip provider must use the port number specified by the provider.  Since you can access the internet with your pc, I would try to run some tests to see if this is the case.
I would run some ping tests and tests to see if I could register with other providers or services that use alternate or alternative sip signalling ports.

  • How to connect j2me to sip server

    Hi friends ...
I am new to this topic and i just want to know how to connect a real sip server with the j2me application .
I tried using the GoSIP demo given in wtk2.5 . its working fine with local SIP proxy and registrar given in that .
But i want to connect to a real SIP Server. Even i have a registered sip number.
Can any one please help me how to sort out this problem as i am very new to this topic. Is there any source given for this ??? If so please tell me ...
    Thanks in advance ......

    is it possible to make
voice calls from the GoSIP example given in the
    wtk2.5 demo examples ?
    Probably not. Have you tried?
I have a sip account and i just want to know how to
register my sip account with the sip server using a
    j2me application .
Change the SipHeader and / or SipAddress
What are the changes to be made in the GoSIP example
to connect to a real sip server and not to the sip
    proxy server
    See above
and what are the syntax to be changed
    in it ????
Syntax is a property of the programming language, not the application.
And one question mark is enough to pose a question, 4 is overkill and perceived as rudeness.
Please help me in solving out this problem ....
What have you done to help yourself?

If you're looking to solve a need by cut-n-paste programming sans understanding, you're unlikely to get it here.
Increase your level of understanding, experiment with your codes and post back when you have a specific issue.

  • My Nokia E63 keeps freezing

I have recently bought a Nokia E63. And since yesterday it started freezing whatever I was doing. The phone has a lot of memory free (everything I have is on the memory card). I didn't install many things, just 4-5 programs besides the ones that came with the phone.
What can I do to make it stop freezing like this?

Reset the E63. Dial *#7370# 12345 reformat, you'll lose all data. Make a backup first and restore without the settings. It's not advised to install apps on the memory card.

  • E71 + Windows Live Messenger server settings

    Hi all,
Any idea what the server settings are for Messenger/IM?
    ie.
Under IM -> Settings -> Servers:
There is a field that asks for "web address". What should the input for this be?
    Thanks in advance!

The Symbian S60 version of Windows Live Messenger from "Download!" rather cheeky charges you £1.50 (GBP) per month or the equivalent in your local currency, after a trial and as I recall is billed via premium rated SMS messages.
Its not free, and changing your handset may not help to bag some extra fee months. The service appears to be locked to your telephone number.
I personally would like it to be free, the fact that you mainly have to use data to talk to your IM contacts, means you have to pay twice.
Note to those who decided to charge: I'll refrain from using it until you make the S60 version always free.
    Shunts...
I will mostly be communicating with a Nokia E72 Zodium Black
Nokia E72-1 with Vr 051.018.207.04 Software
If this post helped... Add some kudos!!
