Siri Reminder Date fixes a specific time

I have been fixing reminders in the morning for when I get to work, whenver I set a date, "Remind me to call Bill when I get to work on Wednesday morning," it fixes the reminder at either 7AM or when I get to the office, whichever comes first. This is because my alarm is set to 6AM, even though I don't go into work till 10. This is rather frustrating because I can't adjust the reminder by hand so I have to save it and then go into reminders to make the adjustment, which almost eliminates any efficiency to using Siri.
It's interesting to note that if I say, "Remind me to call Bill when I get to work on Wednesday" it sets the time at 9AM,
I still haven't figured out anyway to:
1. Set a default time for reminders (by location)
2. Set a default date, but not set a default time for reminders.
Has anyone figured this out?

What I have found is that if you want to create a location-based reminder using Siri such that it doesn't create a fixed time OR location trigger (e.g. the earlier of arriving at work or 9am) then you shouldn't specify a specific date. For example, if I tell Siri to remind to call my wife when I leave work, it will create the reminder WITHOUT adding a specific time. If I tell Siri to remind me to call my wife tomorrow when I leave work, it adds a time and the location, and then makes it conditional upon arriving at work or 9am.

I am setting up a battery characterization test in which I use a power supply and an electronic load to charge and discharge a battery. I am trying to get the program to continuously calculate the state of charge (SOC) of the battery. The program starts at time t=0 in charging mode, at some unknown time t=x the current into the battery drops below a set limit and the battery starts to dicharge. In order to calculate the SOC of the battery during discharge I need to know it's SOC just before the system switched from charging to discharging.
So my question is this:
Is there some technique I could use that would save the SOC data just before the system switched and the time at which the the switching event happened, so I can use that information during the discharge cycle for my SOC calculations?

Having done similar tests I would say the three basic states of charge would be:
Bulk: A constant current charge mode that ends when the battery voltage reaches the Equalize charge voltage
Equalize: A constant voltage charge mode at the battery's rated charge voltage that ends when charge current drops below 500mA
Float: A constant voltage charge mode at the battery's rated float voltage.
Now a battery is not fully charged when the Float stage starts but is usually 90-95% full capacity.
To do it properly you need to keep track of the amp hours discharged and you should recharge to at least 100% better %110 or more.
If you are using a state machine it should be simple to pass SOC values from the charge to discharge state using a shift register.

If you are using a SMP, yes, this is built-in functionality. The files are located in the location(s) specified on your SMP configuration. You'll also need the computer association that created them because it contains the encryption key.

Can Siri set a Reminder WITHOUT a specific time or place?

I love siri's Reminder feature, but I can't seem to figure something out. What if I want to ask Siri "Remind me to buy milk," then siri says "ok, when would you like me to remind you?" I want to be able to set a reminder WITHOUT a specific time. So then I say "No specific time," and siri dismisses the reminder.
Is there a proper voice command when she asks "When should i remind you?" Like "Just make a todo, don't set an alarm"
Or should I not be asking for a reminder? Asking for a ToDo hasn't worked.

How can I perform data logging for a specific time??

hello everyone,
I am quite new in labview and I have a basic question regarding data logging. Currently I am using a cRIO9074 and doing some data logging for my test. The data logging it self works ok so far.
But my problem is I would like to write my datas in a text file either for a specific time interval (ex)10 seconds) or for a specific amounts of data (ex)500 Samples). Can anyone give me some help regarding my problem?? Attached you can find my RT.vi

Run your loggging program for that time. When your program terminates then it will write all the logged data so far in text file.
Kudos are always welcome if you got solution to some extent.

I am trying to backup some .m4a files from my MacBook Pro to an external hard drive and suddenly tonight I am getting "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “1-04 Time.m4a” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)". I have searched for fixes but none of them are working. I have backed up this folder many times before with no issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way, I have repaired disk permissions on main drive and repaired both the internal hard drive of my MacBook and the external drive. No luck.

Neither my local computer consultant nor I have been ableto change any of the settings in Time Machine to correct this problem. Working with the choices in the TimeMachine, there does not appear that there is any way to change the frequency ofthe backups either, so, after a year has elapsed, the time capsule is full, andmy only choice appears to be to erase all the current data on the Time Capsuleand start over, something that I do not want to at all let alone repeat on anannual basis. My questions are:
What can be done to have my Time Capsule delete old filesas it is supposed to do, so it has memory available to allow my computers toback up?

How much data is being backed-up from each Mac? (see what's shown for Estimated size of full backup under the exclusions box in Time Machine Prefs > Options).
Is there any other data on your Time Capsule, besides the backups?
Most likely, there just isn't room. Time Machine may be trying to do a very large (or full) backup of one or both Macs, and can't. Since it won't ever delete the most recent backup, there has to be enough room for one full backup plus whatever it's trying to back up now, plus 20% (for workspace).

Thank you Gerry for pointing out that it doesn't show real time date. I do agree with that. However, I am look at the (at least in this) report which supposed to [description] shows a list of computers not reporting any power activity for a specified date
and time. Since I can only key in date in my selection (time option not given), I am expecting the report to show me whether there any client PCs that doesn't any power activity for the specified date. A list was generated, and a number of them shows HardwareInventoryScan,
LastHeartBeatScan and LastPolicyRequest on the same date itself. I would like to know why these appears, so that I can learn from it.
Due to the selection option given, I can't expect my original goal, but at least (hopefully) I can get to know (past event) how many and which client PCs is not powered on a particular date based on the date and collection selected.
At least by getting explainations, I hope to learn something from this (how to read this report). Thanks in advance.

On a affected machine, I've located a logfile 'smsts.log' in '
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\CCM\Logs', then searched for advertisement prefix.

How do I set iCal alerts to a specific time the previous day, regardless of their specific time (so I can get an overview of tomorrow)?

I think it would be incredibly useful to be able to get at, say, 10pm each evening, a pop up overview of the next day's events. I'm hoping for a tick box somewhere to set my default reminder as a specific time on the previous day, in the same way that you can do '15 minutes before'. Currently you can set reminders for a specific time and date, but, entering this for every item – especially if you want them to coincide – is more than slightly tedious. Furthermore, I input a lot of my Calender events on my iPhone (they sync via iCloud), which has no such functionality, rendering this essentially defunct.
Any ideas?
