When I use Home Sharing, I can see the library I want to copy under Shared, but I can't get it save on the computer under the regular library. Since both computers are connected via the network, you could simply copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from one computer to another via the network.

I am new to Mac. I own an iphone and an ipad but have always used a PC for my business use. I bought a used Powerbook G4 and all is well EXCEPT I cannot get a program to download from a CD. I think it's an easy fix so HELP!

What is the program you are trying to download? It is a mac version?
Is this a vendor's CD or a copy or ?
What error message or other indication do you get that says the download won't happen? -
My dad put a new mac in and the old Mac had my photos on it, and I checked iPhoto after it the new computer was plugged in and there was no photos in it, and my dad said that they should be in there but they aren't, so is there a way to get my photos onto the new Mac without the old one and without an external or flash drive? Because a lot of my photos I don't have on my camera because the memory card was full and the pictures that I had already had been on the old mac....

the basic answer to moving photos is Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward. but you say you do not have the old computer

The songs on my iPad wont save to my iTunes, how can I get them on my computer?
I want to save all my purchased songs on my iPad to my MacBook but they won't go onto my iTunes. I can add more songs to my iPad that are already on my computer but I can't do the opposite. Can anyone help?
When connected try File > Devices > Transfer purchases from Ipad.
It seems that now you need to do this extra manual step. Whereas before it was part of sync'ing.
Hopefully Apple will fix this bug. -

As it says above, i have been having a lot f trouble with my ipod classic and the latest itunes update, i was unable to sync songs or anything to it and have tried every conceivable 'fix' i could find. i have run an itunes diagnostic and the results are posted below. a major problem is that when i try and view my ipod through my computer it displays nothing at all on the ipod, no files or anything, this may be the problem but i have no idea how it has happened or how i could resolve it.
This ipod holds huge sentimental value and i am loathe to buy a new one! If anybody can help it is greatly appreciated, than kyou in advanced.

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

I just updated my 3GS to the 6 and everything has turned out well, but when i started signing up for the imessage i ran into some problems. I went through each step as it asked and then it sent a verification link to my email and thats where im lost at. I went to my email and clicked on the link and it says my account has already been verified. When i go back to settings and down to messages where you turn on imessage it says "waiting for activation. What is going on? thanks in advance
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
