Question

ok here is the situation, have created a flash site with
animated buttons that roll on to the page which looks kind of cool,
my problem is that once the buttons stop there needs to be a
rollover effect on the buttons to initiate a drop down menu, i need
the buttons just to be text and roll down when the mouse rolls over
the main button with the background of the menus is semi
transparent.
been looking for ever to correct this problem
appreciate all the help i can get with this one

Whenever you have a movieclip with buttons inside of it you
have to avoid a vertical stack of mouse events. To be able to have
a
rollover event on both the movieclip and the buttons inside
of it you need to use different code.. Usually hitTest for the
movieclip
and onRollOver for the buttons. If you can provide a link to
your current effort it will be easier to see where the problem is
but
sounds like you have onRollOver events one on top of another
which won't work right.
