Site Maintenance tonight, 10-10:30pm PDT 7/29/14

Ya Se paso 14 Minutos del Tiempo estipulado solo espero Que no existan Errores en Cuanto al Efectivo y Monedas Que TENEMOS acumulados gracias please restauren pronto la roja

Indeed you have A LOT to fix! Tagged is driving me crazy! 1. Since yesterday, I've been buying gold for several of my accounts, some that I have never used. ALL THE GOLD I PURCHASED HAD BEEN SUSPENDED! I decide to purchase gold for small accounts to avoid the blockage in my 2 main accounts... This red bar is annoying!2. I spent THREE HOURS calling Tagged. Most of the time, the phone was busy. I got through 5 times... to hear that annoying a  robot... In the end, I heard "there's no agent to take uyour call at the moment, please leave a message or call again later". Why don't you go straight to the point and simply say, there's nobody to help you now", or tell us go to hell? Because that's how I felt! I am making INTERNATIONAL CALLS, do you know that that costs money? I left a message. I doubt Tagged will reply. You want your clients (yes, members that purchase gold become your CLIENTS) to spend money in international calls seeking for the right to use a product that it was paid in advance? This is absurd and ridiculous! 2. I  added new emails for my big accts to secure them. I made gmail.... It's impossible to validate a gmail acct! Not only it takes more than 10 min for you to send the code, when I add the code Tagged says it's wrong! 3. It has been a nightmare to upload a photo! For instance,I have a photo in one of my accts. It has been there long time. I added a name on it and Tagged says it's too big. I try again, it says it's too small!!! This is insane...You block some innocent pictures saying that's against your "terms of service"... NONE of the photos I tried to upload were nude or indecent! Jesus Christ, I am seriously considering leaving your site... Ufff

  • Eclipse Update Site Maintenance Tonight

The Eclipse update site will be down briefly this evening for scheduled maintenance. The failover / load balancing unit in front of the servers are getting rules adjusted so we no longer redirect update site requests from http to https (i.e. http://dev2devclub.bea.com/updates/wlevs-tools/2.0/site.xml to https://dev2devclub.bea.com/updates/wlevs-tools/2.0/site.xml).
It has scheduled 6p to 8p Pacific for this work, but we expect to be done by 6p. The rules will be adjusted right around 6p and then we'll do the necessary testing to ensure that routes through the unit are working as expected.

  • Site maintenance option is grayed out

We are trying to apply our license key as the evaluation has expired but the option to perform site maintenance is grayed out. We are using the same account we used to install the product.

Are you doing this from the setup on the media or the setup installed on the system (and available by running setup from ARP)? You need to do the latter.

  • Toshiba virtual store - Site Maintenance

I have a journ.e touch, for at least 4 days now I've been unable to get onto the virtual store, it just opens up as a browser saying "Site Maintenance" and if you go to http://www.toshibavirtualstore.com/ on any device you get the same message.
I reproted this to Toshiba yesterday, but does anyone know what is going on?
    Thanks

I have a thing for poor/bad customer service, i.e tech support agents that don't know anything about a product that I own, then trying to fob me off by saying its nothing at their end, its a problem with the journ.e which they say they don't support (even though its supplied through retailers in the UK!).
Some sort of ERT from Toshiba would be hand, as its been 10 days since the website went off line, and using the phrase "coming soon" does not really cut it with me.
Also, some form of advance warning is usually given when a website goes down for maintence/upgrade to give users prior notice of what is happening.
I'm not annoyed at the fact they've taken the website offline to hopefully make improvements. What I am annoyed at is the customer service aspect, and the lack of foresight that was given to not informating customers of what they were going to do.
It's this sort of treatment of customers that puts me off certain suppliers, and in this day and age, companies should be trying their upmost to keep the customers that they do have.

  • Poor site maintenance tool

I know that I complain about Dreamweaver a lot. But, that is
because there are a lot of things to complain about Dreamweaver. I
know a lot of programmers love it and it's probably a great tool
for writing scripts etc. but for site maintenance I find it very
weak to the point of being pathetic (and job threatening).
One of my clients has a site that is quite large -with
approximately 2,300 items to keep track of (pages, images, etc.).
Dreamweaver has not been able to sufficiently manage the site well.
It constantly loses track of page links, and just this morning I
discovered that Library Assets on several pages have mysteriously
become unlinked. But the kicker is, if I make an update to the
Asset, Dreamweaver ACTS like it is making the updates to all of
those pages - but it isn't. That kind of poor linking and dropping
page information is unacceptable. Other coding issues have
periodically popped up as well - Drop Menus for some reason stop
working and must be replaced even tho nothing has been done to
    them. They just stop working.
And again, Dreamweaver is terrible at uploading updated files
to the server. It often skips pages and images that have just been
updated - causing me to have to manually triple check each file to
make sure it was uploaded. Not a real confidence building piece of
    software.
Those are just the most recent developments in Dreamweaver's
poor site management. I've been on Dreamweaver seriously for a year
now and frankly I have not been impressed by it's performance at
    all.
The program interface also doesn't add any ease of use to the
work flow either. The Windows "explorer" navigation is terrible and
I swear they must have used the same rendering engine that Internet
Explorer 6 uses because they look exactly the same - terrible.
Thanks for promoting such a crippling application Adobe.
On the bright side now I know how all of those Microsoft IT
professionals feel about job security due to terrible software that
    they support.

The problems you list certainly sound like showstoppers. All
    I can say
is that I have never encountered them, but I don't maintain
    such large
sites, so that might explain the difference. Getting things
    off your
chest here undoubtedly helps you let off steam, but it
    doesn't get the
message to where it really matters: the development team. If
    you come
across serious issues that affect your workflow, file
    detailed bug
reports through the feature request/bug report form:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Rather than pile all your complaints into one submission,
    focus on one
issue at a time, and give detailed steps of how to reproduce
    specific
    problems.

  • Site Maintenance Task Best Practice

As per our understanding,  we need to either enable "Clear Install Flag" task or "Delete Inactive Client Discovery Data" task.
please do let us know, what will be consequences if we enabled the both tasks & what are the best practices.
    Prashant Patil

    Clear Install Flag
task is highly dependent on heartbeat discovery. If you install client on computer and heartbeat sent the information to Site making its Install flag as Active in Database and at later stage ,If you uninstall client, still the Install Flag will be active
until it is discovered by heartbeat Discovery. When the client is not discovered by Heartbeat discovery,Install Flag will be cleared.
    As a thumb rule,When
enabling this task, set the Client Rediscovery period to
an interval longer than the Heartbeat Discovery schedule.
More information about how Clear Install Flag works is given here  http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jgilbert/archive/2008/10/18/client-is-installed-flag-explained.aspx

  • New to MAC - need advice on WEB site maintenance

Hello switched to mac from windows very recently. I need to find an easy to use wysiwygI software which will allow me to maintain my template based website , previously maintained in expression web. IWEB appears to only work with sites created in IWEB. I downloaded CODA which is nice but appears not to be WYSIWYG. Can someone recommend a really simple intuitive yet powerful web site editor with wysiwyg functionality. Appreciate any help

Try taking a look at RapidWeaver which is available via the Mac App Store. You could also look at Sandvox and Sandvox Pro from http://www.karelia.com.
You are correct that iWeb cannot open a previously published website.

  • Client Site Maintenance

I am building a site in Dreamweaver for a client who wants to
be able to maintain it themselves once it is up and running. Do
they need to purchase the Contribute program and if so, is there a
version for the PC? And is it a stand-alone program? Or, is there
another way they can do it?

    > What is involved in setting up a site to handle
    Contribute updates? Would
    > WordPress be easier to use for the client?
Content Management is a big can o' worms and it's all
    relevant and dependant
    on so many variables.
    IMHO:
    Contribute isn't a Content Management System. It's a 'page
    editor'. This
isn't necessarily a pro or con, but just a difference between
    a more
    traditional 'web content management system'.
I'm not a contribute expert, but from what I understand, you
    design your
site in DW, and then assign areas of the site and pages as
    'editable by
contribute'. This allows the Contribute user to open the
    files, and ONLY
edit the areas you let them (so they can't break the site).
A web content management system is a bit different in that
    it's web-based.
You store your data in some sort of database system, and then
    use a web
based interface to allow the client to manage it. Edit,
    delete, etc.
I'd say WordPress is a step up in complexity for both you and
    the client,
but also a step up in flexibility and feature set.

  • 0T-site maintenance: hourly, monthly, yearly?...

a client is asking me what my "long term support system for
    the website will be".
I usually charge an hourly rate for maintenance and updates,
but I was wondering if it would not be
wiser to set up a yearly flat rate just for maintenance and
casual, minor updates, and then an
hourly rate only for big changes, such as new sections or
changes that affect the page layout or the
    navigation...
Do you have any input/suggestions/experience about this?

What about selling maintenance in hour blocks per month.
    10hrs = $x
    20hrs = $x
    30hrs = $x
depending on how many hours you believe they may need.
The hours have to be used within that month, they will not
    rollover to the
    next month.

  • How to Upload without creating a "Site"?

Hi, is it possible to upload a page to my server using FTP without creating a "site"?
For example: I created an .htlm page on my desktop named "Site Maintenance" to use when my site is down. This page is not part of a "Site".
I connected to the server using FTP and I just want to be able to "Drag" the page into the "Remote Sites" panel but how do I do this?
When I have a "Site" created, I click the small icon called "Expand to show Local and Remote Sites" and it opens the Local and Remote sites window, but is there a way to open the "Remote Sites" window so I can upload a single page? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I did not ask the question correctly so I will try to explain it better.
What if I want to use the FTP client inside of Dreamweaver to just connect to my server. I can connect to the FTP (see image) but how can I drag a folder from my desktop into the server using Dreamweaver?
I have downloaded a folder and I need to add it to my blog which is only on my server. I do not have a Dreamweaver site. Surely Dreamweaver isn't that archaic that you can't upload a file or folder to a server without having to create a site first. It was so much easier in GoLive.
