Skip a tape when the weekend coincides with end of month

When week 4 and end of month both align with the weekend, how can I get DPM to just use the EOM tape? I don't want to come in on holiday to change tapes. This would apply when a long weekend as well

You can change the schedule, then make a custom filter to look at future scheduled tape backup jobs and see when they are scheduled to run.
Alternately, you can use the Power shell script in this post to list all the scheduled tape jobs. It usually takes about 20 minutes after changing the schedule before the below script output is populated.

Suppress the pop-up box in iCal when "The server responded with an error"

So there are tons of questions already on this site about this pop-up error in iCal when trying to connect to Google calendars or MobileMe calendars. My issue is that the connection is fine 90% of the time, but every now and then the connection fails (it checks every 5 minutes) and I get this pop-up.
Now in a perfect world, this error would not result in a pop-up that demands my immediate attention, but would fail silently and simply try again 5 minutes later. Normally Apple's software design is sensible and would do things this way, so I'm totally confused why they think a pop-up (and bouncing dock icon) is anything but annoying, especially when I know it's not a big deal and will probably connect successfully next time.
Soooo... is there a top-secret way I can suppress this pop-up box? It is one of those things that can drive one insane. I even switched to BusyCal for a while but decided it wasn't quite worth $50 just to be rid of the pop-up.

Is there anyway for me to change my iCloud password when the email associated with it has been banned and i cannot access the emails to change my password.

i need help to see if there is anyway to change my icloud password when the recovery emails are being sent to an email that i no longer have due to microsoft terminating it. The i cloud account is different to the apple id that is being used on the phone and does not allow me to back up or load a backup for my phone as i have to put in the icloud password which i cannot remember. I have tried to factory reset the phone to see if that will wipe the icloud account from the phone to set it up as a new phone but it seems to be permanently 'logged in' even time i try to set it up as a new phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is becoming very annoying and means i cannot use the phone to back anything up so that the phone can be wiped so it can either be given away or sold.

Trouble using a pattern match in the GO URL when the value starts with %

We are trying to use a Go URL as follows:

Basically, we want to send the filter : SUBJECT like '%D8D8%' in the GoURL. However, the report that opens up does not fetch any rows because BI somehow messes up the clause by not recognizing the leading %25 (which is an escaped % character). Instead it resolves the %25D8D8%25 into something like �D8% .
As you can see, the %25 at the end however gets resolved correctly but somehow the one at the beginning gets clubbed with the leading D8 to give �.
Any idea, how to get BI to accept a leading escaped % character when doing a pattern match in the Go URL?

Why Logic won't show flats when the key is with flats?

Hi!
Why is logic always show sharps and not flats in the matrix editor when we click on notes? If I input a Key with flats in the Global track signature, there is no change, I always see the name of notes with sharps instead of flats?
This is so simple to ask for a professional software! My 15 years old sequencer was doing that! Did I misunderstand something?

It can see how it could be useful to have the option to display note names according to the key signature in the event and matrix editors. But I can imagine that this kind of thing could also lead to a fair amount of confusion in some cases.
Example: to simulate harp glissandi, I'll use a mapped instrument as the front end for the instrument and remap the notes of the white keys so that by swiping a finger across only the white keys I get all the correct pitches. If the scale is C7 I'll map all of the B's to Bb's. Now of course, in the mapped instrument display, Bb is always shown as A# because here we're dealing with the remapping of notes in a MIDI context. But in harp writing, the B strings played with the pedal up are called Cb! If the piece I'm writing is in F# and the C7 gliss represents a brief enharmonic excursion, it starts to get a wee bit mind-bending as to how the notes should be named in the mapped instrument as well as matrix and event editor!
So in these cases, the idea of using the conventional MIDI names for the notes makes for the least common denominator. When it comes to MIDI (and not music), an A# is always an A#, etc. and you can count on this for consistency.
Of course, if this option to show note names as proper musical pitch was in place, there would have to be the option to turn the feature on and off depending on what aspect of Logic you're working in because there are lots of places where pitches are referenced! Theoretically, displaying notes as per the key changes could/would have an effect on:
• matrix editor
• event editor
• transform sets
• transformers, monitors, and virtually all Environment objects
• transport display of incoming and outgoing notes
...it's a pretty long list!
So perhaps it's not all that simple a situation. Still, if this feature was confined to the matrix and event editors, I think it would be a handy thing to have.

I recently purchased Star Trek into Darkness on Bluray in the UK. When the digital copy with the movie had finished downloading in iTunes, it said processing and then iTunes suddenly stopped working and I had to shut it down. Now I can't see it at all.

Can any one help as the digital copy downloaded but was processing when iTunes froze and then I had to shut it down. I have the latest version and am using iTunes on a windows PC. I would imagine similar problems could arise on download processing if there was a power cut so surely iTunes knows that my ID has redeemed the movie and it will continue now?
Can anyone help?

I forgot to add that when I looked at the store for available downloads it only continued to download the movie extras which is only 69MB of menu items and no movie content.

Continue to use Photoshop CS when the version service is end of life?

I would like to install my original program (Adobe Photoshop CS) onto a new computer since the previous one crashed. I am not able to activate it online per the program. I contacted customer support and was told that it is too old and is at "end of service", therefore I need to purchase a newer version. I want to continue to use my old program as is, I don't need updates or newer features right now. Can anyone guide me with this? How do I install my current version and use it after the "30 day grace period"?

The old activation servers have been taken down by Adobe. Adobe made a new download of CS2 available that use the new activation servers fot the old customers that the can install. I have invested over 6 hours on the phone and with my Verizon Authorized Rep. trying to get the Bonus 1 Gig of Data for myself on the More Plus Plan. Cut and dry situation but today was told I have to wait about 7 days until they can get me "an answer" o

Basic question is why are any of the minimun 8 Verizon reps that I or my Authorized Verizon Rep (at Costco) spoke with unable to resolve a very simple, straightforward issue that should have been resolved in 15 minutes max. Instead I (a 14 year verizon customer) have been given the runaround and have invested over 6 1/2 hours in trying to get someone to acknowledge that I an owed 1 GB of Bonus Data on my new phone on our new plan. My wife got hers. I am just venting now as I intend on returning the phone tomorrow (I got it Thursday) and turning around and getting an identical new phone. This was suggested to me as an option by both the Rep who sold my wife her phone and the rep who sold me mine as that way I would not have to contiinue dealing with this ridiculous state of affairs (they indicated that my Free gig request was being sent to another department and that it would be about 7 days befor they get an answer). Just Venting . Thanks

No I was considerate, etc. The root of the problem stems from the fact that when I went to get my new phone I asked the salesperson if I should sign up for the new plan or if my wife should do it the following day when she buys her new phone (also at a Costco but in a different state). The salesperson said it made absolutely no difference so I elected to have my wife do it. When she did the next day she got her free Gig and her salesperson told her that I need to call in to make sure I get the gig that I am entitled to as well. That's when the runaround started with the first call consisting of me basically advising Verizon of what the promotion consists of, etc.since they insisted that it was one gig per Plan, that there were no exceptions to this, etc. As mentioned they wanted to know where I got the information that it was one gig per qualifying phone. (Both the rep and her supervisor obviously were not aware of how Verizons heavily touted More Everything plan works). They told me finally that I needed to go back to the Costco where I got the phone. I did. The salesperson apologized numerous times to me for advising me that it made no difference who signs up for the plan or when. She then spent over two hours on the phone (with me next to her) attempting to explain to Verizon what happened, how it was her fault, and how I was clearly entitled to the Bonus Gig since I also had a qualifying phone. Finally she was transferred to someone who authorized the Bonus Gig (since I was clearly entitled to it) and who indicated that it might take 24 hours to show up on my new Plan. 72 hours later, no change, and the runaround continues some more. The only reason I even came to this forum was to let off some steam since no one could give me an answer.. It's clear that I am entitled to the Bonus Gig yet the last supervisor I spoke with told me that he could only pass the request on to another department via e-mail (no direct contact, etc. even though I gave him the name and employee # of the Verizon rep who indicated the Bonus was approved) and that an answer should be forthcoming in about 7 days. I was very cordial with everyone I spoke with as I understand that they take their direction from the top. The countless hours I have spent dealing with this situation is something that no-one should have to go through, particularily someone who has been a Verizon Plan customer since about year 2000. Everyone seems to agree that I am entitled to the free gig but no one seems to be in a position to help this customer. Its a horrible way to treat someone. I talked with the original saleslady today and told her I would be in tomorrow to turn in the phone and get a new one along with the gig I was entitled to. She said that would be fine and wouldn't be a problem but that she would be happy to try calling Verizon once again to try to resolve the issue. I indicated that I'm done with wasting time taliking with well-meaning and courteous (and I assume underpaid) employees who I assume are pretty much directed from above that any concessions they make, even if the customer is entitled to them, will reflect badly on their employee evaluations . Good thing I am retired or I would really be worked up. They only way I would consider even talking to Verizon anymore on this is if they were to waive the $60 in upgrade fees my wife and I paid for the new phones. While loading data in CUBE update we want have the application that refuse the access to the User's by showing a message u201C The BW cube u2026. is loading please try lateru201D.
With this scope we have to modify the chain. Set a parameter before start the cube update and reset the parameter when the cube update is ended.
The query must be modified for checking the parameter value said above and allow the access or not to the cube.
Kindly propose a suitable solution for the same.

Hi,
This is simple. Create a text element in query description and hardcode this with any dummy value (say the cube name). Fill this text element during i_step = 1 in exit. Use this text element for all the queries on the cube foor which you want this popup message. Then in TVARV table create a field as flag. Before the cube is loaded mark this flag field as X using ABAP program in process chain and once the cube is loaded delete the X for the field. In the exit check in I_STEP = 3 check whether your text element is populated or not. If it is populated this means your query is getting executed. Then check whether your flag field is X or not. If it is X then using the FM raise a popup message RRMS_MESSAGE_HANDLING and after this use the statement raise no_processing. This will return you to selection screen.
Search the forum for more info abt how to write the code in I_STEP = 3.
