2) what i trying to say is when i create a bapi using standard function
merep_contact_getlist,merep_contact_getdetail,merep_contact_modify
when i try to modify a record, it will changed successfully, and the synckey still remain the same. (not changed to a new one)
when my situation is when i create my own bapi and try to sync, my modified record get deleted and 1 new record with different syncKey is download with old value.
this is the printscreen and function
i want to clarify here is
GetList: ZBAPI_AM_LIST_V1
GetDetail: ZBAPI_AM_DETAILS_V1
Modify : ZEMI_AM_P2P
ZEMI_AM_P2P will call ZBAPI_AM_P2P
In ZBAPI_AM_P2P ,it will call transaction as02
if you see the function ZEMI_AM_P2P
it will call insert zztable to insert system date and time
to test if the function get called.
but i found out the function is not invoke.
anyone pls checkout this printscreen in doc format

I'm trying to write a simple program that performs a generic sync and I keep getting the following error.
The backend method I'm trying to call requires no parameters and returns and outbound container with a few DESCRIPTION registers.
Exception while sync event processing: null (java.lang.RuntimeException)
The code that fires up the sync is:
ClassLoader cl = getClass().getClassLoader();
OpportunitySourceDAL ip = new OpportunitySourceDAL(); InboundProcessorRegistry.getInstance().register(ip);
OutboundContainerFactory outfactory = OutboundContainerFactory.getInstance();
outfactory = OutboundContainerFactory.getInstance();
OutboundContainer out = outfactory.createOutboundContainer(VisibilityType.SEPARATED, "ZLISTA_SOURCES_ALIAS" , OutboundContainer.TYPE_REQUEST);
out.close();
SyncManager.getInstance().synchronizeWithBackend(VisibilityType.SEPARATED);
And the class OpportunitySourceDAL has a process method like this
public void process(InboundContainer inbound) {
try {
OpportunitySource op = OpportunitySource.getInstance();
InboundContainerElement[] sources= inbound.getElementsWithFieldName("DESCRIPTION");
for (int i = 0; i < sources.length; i++)
op.add( sources.getFieldValue() );
} catch (Exception e) {
I've already created the wrapper for the backend function using ME_WIZARD and checked that it works with ABAP debugger.
The backend function is in the same machine as was so I don't have to map an RFC destination.
Am I missing some steps?
Thanks in advance.Hi ,
Please check the following
1. The MI forms the outbound container and when you fire event synchronizeWithBackend these containers are serialized and sent to middleware and then to backend.
Please check that OutboundContainer out is not null.
2. Also see whether ht emapping b/w the backend table and the frontend tabkle is correct.
3. In case you are not able to crack error. attach the complete trace file.

Syncing "Events" in iPhoto to iPhone
I just got a new computer, with OSX Leopard. The new iPhoto is wonderful—automatically categorizing your photos (based on dates) into "events," eliminating what I found to be the cumbersome and sometimes confusing process of trying to create "albums" for which photos then existed in multiple places within iPhoto.
However, when I try to sync my photos to my iPhone, the only option I'm given is to sync "albums," not "events." It's almost as though the current iPhone software is not updated to sync based on the new iPhoto. Does anyone know if there is a way to sync "events," or if there is a plan for, in future software versions, this to be an option?
Thanks!I do not have iPhoto 7 so I cannot tell you from my experience, but read this thread with other users comments on event support and on what works and what does not work:
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5572011
As for future plans from Apple no one here knows as nothing was officially released yet. -
Urgent: How to add event listeners to a null object?
I have an object that is lazy loaded, and therefore starts out null.
How can I add an event listener onto this null object, so that it fires whenever the object is instantiated?
WHY does arrayCollection.addEventListener(CollectionEvent.COLLECTION_CHANGED, function) not work??
Thanks!
CC,
the answer to your question "WHY does arrayCollection.addEventListener(CollectionEvent.COLLECTION_CHANGED, function) not work??" is that addEventListener is not a static method, ie it has to be attached to an actual instance. I agree that in your situation it would be handy to have it as static, something like ArrayCollection.addEventListener(etc) but I'm not at all sure that is a good plan in general, as usually we want events to fire from an actual instance of the class, not generically. A quick look through the adobe docs has convinced me there are not many static methods at all, and none that appear to help you.
I take it from your description that you don't know exactly when the collection is instantiated? But presumably though you do have a point where new is called? Or something equivalent like populating it from something else?

Getting 2nd TIO of the PCI6602 to perform buffered event counting via register-level programming
I got the first PCI6602 TIO to perform buffer event counting using interrupt. However, I could not get the second TIO working. I think I have initialized the proper registers in order to work with the second TIO, i.e.
1. Addressing all registers of the second TIO at 0x800 offset.
2. Binding the clock to counter 4-7 (set 0x00200000 to the Clock Configuration register). I am using the internal Timebase_3 clock which is 80MHz.
3. Tried setting 0x8000 to the Global Interrupt Control register at both its offset location (with 0 offset) and with 0x800 offset (2nd TIO offset location).
Am I missing something here? I got no interrupts from the PCI bus and I got 0xff
ff when I tried to read the Status register.Al,
I have been experimenting with the 6602, but I have not been able to see any of the interrupts generated by the counters. I have tried both TC mode and an external signal on a single GATE (G0). The Gi_Status_Register indicates that the interrupts are occuring (appropriately for each mode), but I can't see them on the bus (my interrupt handler is never invoked; cat /proc/interrupts shows 0 interrupts).
Could you pass along any tips on how you did it?
Thanks!

Can't sync events created on the iPhone back to Outlook or iCal
after upgraded my two iPhones to 1.1.4 I cannot sync events created in the iPhone back into Outlook on my Vista machine or iCal on my Macbook (for the second iPhone). I searched the forum but found no answer other than a RESTORE... I already needed a RESTORE in one of the iPhones as music data got corrupted after upgrade (it created a huge OTHER file.
1.1.4 fixed bugs and added quite a few!
any advice out there other than RESTORE? As always the helpful agent from apple support suggests restoring the iPhone and denies anybody else having issues.The first question I wold have to trouble shoot your problems is: Do you have an active open account on Outlook? Do you have more then one account active on outlook? When you connect your iPhone to iTunes and go to the second Tab...What boxes do you have selected? Are you set up to Auto or Manual Sync?
Currently I have one active account in Outlook that is displaying my MSN account that was IMAP'd through izymail.com. All of my sync modes are set to manual so that I can control what and when my sync occurs. All of my boxes are checked in the second tab to sync to the outlook account that I have established. If this does not help then please answer the questions above so that I or someone else can assist you further.
Good Luck -
My iPad 1 has suddenly started to sync Events from my iPhoto library incorrectly. It seems to break down Events to separate dates - so if an Event was photographed over 2 days, it is showing as 2 separate events with the same name.
Posted this before I realised there is an update for the iPhoto app 9.1.3 which sorts the problem.

Easier way to sync event to calendar?
I was wondering what the easiest way to sync events to my calendar. For example, if I wanted to sync a list sporting events from a website. How can I do this, without entering each and every one in by hand?
Look in the website for something that says "download event info" or "subscribe to calendar". If there is an .ics file you can download and import into iCal/Outlook, then sync to the phone. (Try downloading it on the phone, I'm not sure whether it's set up to handle ics files or not)
But if the website hasn't offered facilities for this, there's not much you can do, I don't think. -
How to perform clickable event on Table view
hi!
I am using tableview element to display my content.
Now i want to perform clickable event on row so that on clicking particular row i can show the details of that particular row in other view.
Regards
ParthHi Abhijit,
regarding #2, i am facing a strange problem. If more than one row is selected, the <valuenode>.isMultiSelcted(index) returns true only for the lead selected row. For the other selected rows it return false. Would you know how to get rid of this.
Note that the problem is there only in case if i try to do this in the onLeadselect method. It works fine if i do this in a method which is called on click of a button !!!
In my case, i have a requirement wherein i need to find out which are the selected rows on click of any row in the table. -
I just bought a new ipad 2, but cannot use it as it only shows the itunes logo and a cable. This means it's telling me to connect to itunes. I've done this and performed sync, still no way out. I have been told by friends to "unlock" it. Please how?
Have you already activated the iPad? That is what the screen is telling you to do - connect to the computer with the supplied cable and run iTunes while connected - and iTunes should guide you through the set up process. If you have already set up the iPad and you are still getting thos screen message - restore your iPad. You must be running iTunes 10.5 on your computer as well.
Restore iPad
If you can't restore this way, you will need recovery mode.

Iphoto, Can you sync EVENTS?
Does anyone know if you can sync the individual events form iphoto? I can only see albums and the rest of the events are all lumped together. Any help?
I have been syncing Events all along with no problems (at least I think I was as I have no albums in iPhoto but could see all my Events folders listed as sub-folders in AppleTV and could choose them independently). Yesterday, when my ability to sync simply vanished and no longer appeared as an option in AppleTV, I was forced into a factory restore and then the Sync option reappeared. Now, I can no longer sync Events either (but haven't tried Albums yet). All I see now is one Photo folder with thousands of pictures that I have no control over.

Performance problem - event : cursor: pin S wait on X
Hi,
Bellow is 17 min awr report , of oracle PeopleSoft DB on 10204 instance on HPUX machine.
During this time the customers complained on poor performance.
There were 4,104.23 execution per second and 3,784.95 parses
which mean that almost any statment was parsed. since the Soft Parse %= 99.77
its seems that most of the parses are soft parse.
During those 17 min , the DB Time = 721.74 min and the "Top 5 Timed Events"
shows : "cursor: pin S wait on X" at the top of the Timed Events
Attached some details for the awr report
Could you please suggest where to focus ?
Thanks

So, this is a parsing related wait. You already mentioned that you're doing lots of parsing, mostly soft. Do you have session_cursor_cache parameter set to a reasonable value? 10g, I believe the default is 50, which is probably not a bad starting point. You may get additional benefits with moderate increases, perhaps to 100-200 range. It can be costly to do so, but can the extra parsing be addressed in the application? Is there anything you can do to reduce parsing in the application? When the problem occurs, how is the CPU consumption on the box? Are the CPUs pegged? Are you bottlenecked on CPU resources? Finally, there are bugs around 10.2.0.x and mutexes, so, you may want to open an SR w/ Oracle support, and determine if the root cause is actually a bug.
Mark,
I think you might read a little more into the stats than you have done - averaging etc. notwithstanding.
There are 8.55 "hard" parses per second - which in 17.96 minutes is about 9,500 hard parses - and there are 1.3M pin S wait on X: which is about 130 per hard parse (and 1.9M pin S). So the average statistics might be showing an interesting impact on individual actions.
The waits on "local write wait" are worth nothing. There are various reasons for this, one of which is the segment header block writes and index root block writes when you truncate a table - which could also be a cause of the "enq: RO - fast object reuse" waits in the body of the report.
Truncating tables tends to invalidate cursors and cause hard parsing.
So I would look for code that is popular, executed from a number of sessions, and truncates tables.
There were some bugs in this area relating to global temporay tables - but they should have been fixed in 10.2.0.4.

User Profiles Sync - Event Viewer Errors
While I'm not seeing any actual negative impact on the farm, I constantly get the following errors throughout the day (tied to syncs I believe) and would very much like to remedy them if possible:
Error type: Critical
Event ID: 5555
Task Category: User Profiles
Failure trying to synch web application <GUID>, ContentDB <GUID> Exception message was System.Data.SqlException: Lock request time out period exceeded.
Login failed for user '<Domain>\<User>'.
A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded.

Failure trying to synch web application <GUID>, ContentDB <GUID> Exception message was System.InvalidOperationException: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
Error type: Critical
Event ID: 6398
Task Category: Timer
The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPSqmTimerJobDefinition (ID <GUID>) threw an exception. More information is included below.

Unknown SQL Exception 1222 occurred. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Lock request time out period exceeded.
Login failed for user '<Domain>\<User>'
A sever error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded.
Additionally, the following error appear on the Database side.
Error type: Information
Event ID: 18456
Task Category: Logon
Login failed for user '<Domain>\<User>'. Reason: An exception was raised while revalidating the login on the connection. Check for previous errors. [CLIENT: <IP>]
Error type: Error
Event ID: 18056
Task Category: Server
The client was unable to reuse a session with SPID <X>, which had been reset for connection pooling. The failure ID is 29. This error may have been caused by an earlier operation failing. Check the logs for failed operation immediately before this
error message.
I've tried to troubleshoot each of these errors independently hoping that it is one that is causing them all but so far nothing has worked. The "Login failed" stood out to me the most but that account is the farm account and I've verified
the credentials and there are no other login failed type errors. Again, the syncs themselves appear to be successful but these errors always occur. Any help would be most appreciated.And you did the last part also?
"Finally, and I’m not sure if this is necessary, but I read that you should change timer job “Timer Service Recycle” (Central Administration –> Job Definitions) to run at 06:30 PM. This last step can be done through Central Administration.
After doing this my errors went away. I did however need to run a full user profile synchronization by going to Central Administration –> Manage Profile Service: SharedServicesSearch_UserProfile –> Start Profile Synchronization"
Sounds like a good reason, that the timer job runs at the same time as the application pool recycles, thus causing the connection to abort. Then retrying the connection, but a different ID, causing a lock to happen.
Besides that, it can be hard to say, as setting up the User Profile service application using the Wizard, can do some strange things :/ -
In iCal, multiple calendars can be setup. For example, I have 3 different calendars in iCal. I would like the events in calendar 1 and 2 to b synced with my Mac Pro, iPhone S and iPad. I do not want the events in calendar 3 to be synced from my iPhone S to the Mac Pro and iPad. How can this be set up?
Hi ChrisJC,
To get the specific calendar folder (non-default folder), please refer to this code below:
Dim oNS As Outlook.NameSpace
Dim MyItemsFolder As Outlook.MAPIFolder
Dim myAppoint As Outlook.AppointmentItem
Set oNS = oApp.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set MyItemsFolder = oNS.Folders("[email protected]").Folders.Item("Calendar")
Then you could add appointment item by using
Items.Add method.
Set myAppoint = MyItemsFolder.Items.Add(olAppointmentItem)
