Skipping the Dimensiona LOAD SYNCH COMPILE UPDATE Commit

Hi David ,
Everytime we maintain cube I dont want Dimensions to be build and load ,Update/Commit extrac checks as I had already maintain the dimensions separately .
Is it mantory for cube to start the build or I can skip the Dimension build process? .. Actually I can see if I have already mainatain the dimensions no row added (0) displayed under AWM during cube build and considering no change in my source object can we save some time by skipping that part .If possible then how from backend ?

There is a subtle difference between the add_dimensions parameter is dbms_cube.build and the 'Add Dimensions' checkbox in AWM.
If you specify add_dimensions = true in dbms_cube.build then the server will automatically add the dimensions of all cubes listed in you build script. In the following example we only specify 'my_cube', but the dimensions, my_dim1 and my_dim2 say, will be built as well.
exec dbms_cube.build('my_cube', add_dimensions=>true)In AWM the list of objects on the right hand side is precisely the list of objects that will be built -- no additional objects will be added by the server. When you select 'maintain cube' you will see that the dimensions are automatically added to the right hand list. This remains true even if you then uncheck the 'Add Dimensions' box. The checkbox only comes into play when you shuttle a cube from left to right. Internally AWM always calls the add_dimensions=>false version of the dbms_cube.build procedure. So if the dimensions are selected in the right hand pane, then this is what it would issue.

With dimension MVs in place we can tell whether a dimension is up to date or not (using the STALENESS column of the ALL_MVIEWS view). So if you specify just the cube along with add_dimensions=>true in dbms_cube, then we will only rebuild the dimensions that are not up to date (FRESH). AWM, by contrast, will add the dimensions every time.
I know this is probably too much information, but it is a pet peeve of mine ;)

If this is a frequent request then you can create a custom ABAP Program and then use the below simple logic to skip/run the meta chain, but you will also have to change the link between the sub chains as "Always" instead of "Successful" so that no matter if the dependent chain is successful OR not the nex chain will proceed. If you are comfortable with event then you can also use event to achieve this
Program Logic- Create a new table where you maintain meaningful values (indicator/description) in it and the program should read the data from the table, Based on the values in the table the program will be successful/fail

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
Another possibility is to use:

I would connect each device to a power source, and then reset them by holding the power button and the home button until they turn off.
If it keeps happening, I would put the devices in recovery mode and restore them with iTunes.

Need to Skip the fields duaring the data upload by SQL*Loader.

I am not able to get how to skip some fileds in the file while uploading it thru SQL*Loader. Let us have a look the below scenario.
The table has 4 columns. but in the input file came up with 6 fields. Let us assume the four fields came as first in the order. Then, we can populate the data into the 4 columns of the table. At the same time we want to skip the remaining fields. Even those fields/columns are no longer available in the database table.
For example:
create table data_temp(sno number,name varchar2(10 char),sex char(1),loc varchar2(20 char));

How to skip the Inbound Delivery while updating LA confirmations via EDI

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement wherein I dont want to create Inbound Delivery automatically when updating the LA (or a copied Conf Cat of LA) confirmation via EDI. When we are using the message type DESADV, LA confirmations are being updated, but simultaneously, the Inbound delivery also being created. My client desires that Inbound Delivery should not happen and only LA confirmation should be updated via EDI.
Is there anyway, by which we can skip the Inbound Delivery while updating the LA confirmations in the PO?

Unknown "source"? Do you mean unknown "error" followed by a number?

Follow the instructions in the article. When you connect your phone again, you may have to press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

I'm not on a network and I didn't change anything on my secutiy setups, so I got in touch to the customer support. They checked my computer and found nothing wrong, so they uploded some log files to analyse the case. I'm waiting for a answer.
