Skype Crashing on outbound calls (but not inbound)...

I have been experiencing a very weird one-directional issue with outbound video calls crashing within 3-5 seconds of successfully connecting, but no issues when receiving a video call request and/or upon successful connection of the inbound video call.
I have tried the following:
a) updated skype version
b) applied windows essential updates
c) updated graphics card driver
d) skype is not in compatibility mode
e) restarted windows
Platform - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1
My Skype version - v7.2.0.103

If Messenger Plus is not istalled on your computer, then you might have the same DirectShow filters, which used to be installed with Messenger Plus, but in your case, installed by another similar application.
Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Can you choose to block phone calls but not texts from a number?

So I have searched all over the place and have not found an answer. I am sure someone has blocked me from calling them because when I try to call them I recieve this message: "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call."However I am wondering if they can still receieve my texts. I have sent two and they both show that they have been delivered on my phone and they both also show up on my online bill as having been sent from me and recieved to the number that I am pretty sure has blocked me. Does Verizon allow someone to block just phone calls but not text messages? Or if you block a number from calling does that mean texting from that same number is automatically blocked as well (or is it two seperate processes)? I understand it may look like it has been sent on my end, but I am wondering, since I never got a "message failed" indicator or anything else telling me they never got it, if they were able to receive and read the 2 messages? Adobe Flash plugin crashes on MANY sites, but not all (not YouTube)

Adobe Flash plug in crashes on certain sites, but not on all (not on YouTube, for instance). The big problem is NBA league pass. I spoke to a friend who was happily watching NBA league pass next door, so their feed isn't the problem.
This occurs in both IE and Firefox. It also crashed Safari. I'm running Windows XP. I've reinstalled both browsers (latest version), rebooted several times, and reinstalled Flash too.

Premiere crashes with 2 passes but not on 1 pass on flash export. Premiere claim that RAM memory is too low even though I look in task manager that only 4.5 GB is used of 12 GB?
Can anyone confirm this bug and try to render a file from Premiere in flash format with 2 passes?
This is the first bug I found in side Premier CS5.0.2 exept low use of my GTX470 cuda cores.

HT201328 iPhone 4 able to receive calls but not make calls

Hey,
I received a carrier unlock through AT&T. I restored my phone in itunes and received the "congratulation your iphone is now unlocked" message. I am currently living in Belgium and using the Mobistar network. I have bought several sim cards, and none of the sim cards will activate. I can receive calls but not place them. According to the mobostar representative, this is not even possible. I have restored the phone several times using different sim cards.
Is there potentially a problem with the phone itself? Everything is showing as if it should work, but I am unable to fix the problem - as well as the service provider here cannot.

Have you tried these two:
Toggle Airplane mode on and off. Wait five seconds between the on and off modes.
Reset Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Simple solution. Get a real internet service and not a cell phone internet connection service it was never meant to be used as the primary internet service
And how do you lose a home and job and be sued as you claim. What over 10 Gb of data? Give me a break

UCCE receive QtoA calls, but not QtoSG calls?

Has anyone been faced with this problem and come up with an elegant solution? We're looking to see if it's possible for agents to stay in a ready state and continue to receive queue to agent calls, but not receive queue to skill group calls. We've thought about having supervisors remove their skills, but this is not scalable when you have a large number of agents. Another solution could be to give agent reskilling access to all agents, but this also would be an adminitrative nightmare. Anyone?

Let's think of this example:
I work in tech support for an ISP. In the mornings I answer customer calls and open a case for any new calls and in the after noon I do call backs to follow up on cases I have in my CRM queue. In the afternoons I don't take any new calls which result in new cases, just work on cases I own. A customer calls in and enters their case number, this is a case that was opened in the past and is assigned to me. In this scenario the agent didn't have to call the customer to follow up, the customer called the agent instead. The problem is that if you're in a ready state and assigned to a skill group, you will get new calls not just calls that are in your queue.
We're trying to prevent new calls from going to that agent. No matter how I slice this, we need some trigger which tells the system that the agent should no longer take SG calls. Then undoing this trigger is the next tricky part. I would love to solve this within ICM/CVP, but it's looking like custom desktop and maybe ConAPI might be the only solution.

IPCC Enterprise: Outbound calls priority over inbound calls

How can I get outbound calls presented to the agents in SG-A even though there are calls queued to SG-A ?
My customer wish to service callbacks before queued calls.
To me it looks like the dialer doesn't issue the reservation call quick enough to get the agent reserved before the queueing mechanism is grabbing him.

The reason inbound calls take priority is because they are queued.
With personal callbacks, we try to reserve the agent even if it is currently busy so we have an opportunity to queue them.
With preview and predictive, we check the skill group once every 2 seconds and only attempt to reserve agents to see if there are available agents. So we won't attempt to reserve an agent if agents are busy with inbound calls. So if you have inbound calls queued up for a skill group that share the same agent pool as the outbound skill group, then those agents will likely be kept too busy with inbound calls. The Dialer won't try to make a reservation request if no agents are available and so there won't be an opportunity to add the calls to queue.
With Transfer to IVR campaigns, you can queue and route customer calls to agents. This would give you more flexibility, but there are some pros and cons.
PROS
You can make smart decisions in the routing script whether it is marked as Answering Machine or Live Voice.
You don't tie up an agent in reservation call waiting to find a customer.
You can prioritize the dialer calls over inbound calls in the scripting.
CONS
Customers will likely spend some time in queue, and may drop out.
The scripting to throttle calls is a little trickier.
The campaign reports and Dialer Detail records no longer tell you whether the call was handled by an agent or not. They stop tracking once the call is sent to the IVR. You only have the inbound call Termination Call Detail records and the inbound skill group and call type to track what happened ot the transfer to IVR calls.

Skype crashing when receiving calls or making calls (update 7.2)

Never had this issue but Skype crashes when I attempt to call somebody or recieve a call. When I accept a call it works for around 30 seconds before cutting out and similar for making a call. My friend had a similar issue with his skype freezing his computer when calling somebody, turns out it was a power issue with his gpu and motherboard, Problem with mine is that it's a laptop and I don't have access to the gpu to tamper with. Skype crashes after answering call in windows 8.1

My skype crashes after I answer a skype call in my brand new computer.
Intel core i7 4790
Amd radeon 255 2 gb
8 gb ram

Uninstall the currently installed Skype version and install the 6.14.0.104 version using the download links provided here:

Make sure to disable automatic updates:
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Automatic updates ->Turn off automatic updates

Is your Samson Meteor Mic actually a headset or is it appearing as a set of speakers as well when it shouldn't? You ought to delete it if it's a mic and it's installed itself as a speaker as well. Just try removing it and relaunching Skype - I don't like what it's doing and it might be screwing around with the system.
Try resetting Skype settings:
1) Exit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to terminate Skype.exe.
2) Open explorer, search for %appdata%. 3) Find the Skype Folder.
4) Rename this folder to something like Skype_Old
5) Now search for %temp%\skype.
6) Delete the folder entitled 'DbTemp'
7) Restart your computer, then launch Skype
You can still get back your conversation history. This data is located in the folder you renamed earlier.
