Hi Experts,
For calculating the SLA using date profile, we have used the Customer as the reference object, but system is not considering the visiting hours

  • Issue with RCDC for Custom "Department" object type

    Hey Guys,
Maybe somebody can point out where the issue is with the RCDC. I have a custom object type called Department in FIM portal and wanted to create a simple interface for it so users can add and edit department fields.
The only two fields that should show on the RCDC is department and divisions(this is the name of the custom field) all the fields work but I keep getting the following error "There's an error in the Department display configuration. Please contact your

I don't know RCDCs well enough to debug it from the xml. One approach when I don't know something too well is to brute it. Copy one of the default RCDCs and make sure it's working then add the required attributes one by one checking that it works each
time. Once it's working with the added attributes remove all the ones you don't need. If that breaks it, go back to where it was working and remove them one by one.

  • Sales order with reference to a custom object

Hi all experts, I have a question.
I want to create a sales order with reference to a complete custom object created in the CRM system. The custom object has a unique number assigned to it. How can I use the reference of this custom object in my sales order?
In other words, can I use a field in the sales order which will be storing this custom object number? If yes, which field can be used? If no, how else can this be achieved? Thanks in advance.

    Animesh,
You have two options:  Use the external reference number field on the Sales order if it is not be being used, however if you capture the customer's PO number you are probably aleady using that field.  Otherwise I would do what you said and create a new Z-field via the EEWB and store your external reference number there.
If the custom object number was 10 digits alpha numeric, you could possibly create a custom partner function, but I really don't recommend it.  The z-field will give you better performance for reporting, and future processing.  I would put the z-field field in the CUSTOMER_H segment of the document.
    Take care,
    Stephen

    Regards
    Parul Deshwal

    Hi Parul Deshwal,
    - The number range is created in XDN1.
    - The number range is assigned to the account group "Stock Transfer - Depot" in SAP Customizing Implementation Guide>Financial Accounting>Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable>Customer Accounts>Master Data>Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data>Assign Number Ranges to Customer Account Groups
Remember - If you are entering an external number it generally means the number is created in an external system and replicated to your system.
Help - Check what external number was used last by doing SE16 on table KNA1 and use the account group "Stock Transfer - Depot" as a selection parameter.
    Best regards,
    Glynn

  • Create customer with reference to customer master

    Hi,
If the user creates customer master (XD01) with reference to another customer master then system should not copy some of the fields. How can I restrict this in SAP. Is there any Copy control functionality for customer master to customer master?
    Regards,
    Soumen

    Hello,
As far as i know in Standard SAP system, when we are copying or even creating a Customer
Master Recording in XD01 with reference to a customer, in case of the basic data i.e. General Data, the
    datas that are copied are
    1. Country.
Under Company Code data, the following are copied,
    1. Reconcilation Account.
Under Sales Area Data the following are copied,
    1. Currency.
    2. Shipping condition.
    3. Account assignment group.
    4. Taxes.
Regarding your question, you can change the data and there is no concept of copying control here.
    Regards,
    Sarthak

  • Copy with reference to Customer Master

    Hi experts,
If the user creates customer master(XD01) with reference to another customer master then system should not copy all the fields say Name and contact number. How can I restrict this in SAP.
    Can any body helps???
    Thanks!!!
    Poorna

    Hi.
Normally when we copy existing customer to a new  customer we use XD01 with reference and we don't select the items we don't want to copy or we delete the value when we are copying.
But if you want user to have a feature through which  when ever they create a new customer using the existing customer they should not  copy the recon a/c for Ex, than you have  to create a Z transaction by  copying the orignial XD01 and have your restrictions coded there..

  • Create customer master record with reference

    Hello guys,
I'm trying to create a customer master record with reference using XD01 (existing in the referent company code only) but no data are copied at the general level of the customer (not only the address data but also these contained in KNA1). Is there something I can do in order to get the referent data?
    Thanks

Only data that does not refer directly to the customer/vendor is copied from the reference account to the new account, that is,no address information, and so on.

Here is one example: For a true text file, it does not make a big
difference if your line endings are LF or CR or a combination of both
(which ones are used depends on your operating system and text editor
software used). A good text editor can juggle all these and give you what a
human would consider the correct view of the document. In a PDF file, it
does matter quite a bit if you use LF or CR/LF - the first one only adds
one byte to the file, the second one adds two bytes. Because everything in
the PDF file is referenced via the byte offset from the Xref table, having
a line ending be one vs. two bytes makes a big difference. In one case,
your offsets are correct, in the second one they are not, and therefore the
    PDF file is corrupt.
Contrary to what lrosenth says, I believe you can create a PDF file in
NotePad++ (or any other text editor), and I do so regularly in my
trainings, but you have to be absolutely certain you understand how byte
offsets work and how to get them correct. Even though you can do this,
normally you would not (unless it's a training exercise). It's much easier
to write out the PDF file in software and keep track of all byte offsets as
the objects are generated so that you can then create a valid Xref table.
If you want to know more about the potential problems with the Xref table,
see this blog post I wrote a few years ago:

  • Error while creating creditmemo request with reference to invoice

    HI aLL,
I am facing one issue while creating a credit memo request in VA01 with reference to invoice.
Our project stock is valuated stock. In projects we always use valuated stock so i cannot change the valuated into non valuated.
When we try top copy the error pops up" Valuated project stock not allowed with customer stock." and the line item is not copied in the credit memo.
Diagnosis:The entered wbs manages a valuated project stock,at the same time sales order stock is maintained on sales order line item.this combo is not allowed as different valuation methods within a project is not allowed.
